Since I hadn't booked many activities for this trip, I asked a local acquaintance for recommendations, and they mentioned that Cirque du Soleil, which just opened last year, is very popular. We watched from the center seat in the 9th row. Luckily, there were no other audience members on either side of us, so it felt like a couple's seat. Various performances unfold along the history of Hawaii. The stage isn't very large, but the performers also come out into the aisles, creating a dynamic experience that utilizes the entire theater. There were hilarious moments that involved audience participation, such as throwing large balloons into the crowd, and before we knew it, time flew by. Since it has just started, I recommend it to both first-timers and those who are familiar with Hawaii.

I always make it a point to see Cirque du Soleil when they perform in Tokyo, so I definitely wanted to see them in Hawaii as well. They used costumes and props from Hawaii, which added to the atmosphere.

There was a segment where a few audience members were picked to mimic dances and have fun, and this time was also very enjoyable.

The theater was small, but it was almost full. We had seats right in the middle, in the front row. There were five of us, and everyone had a great time.

I might be imagining it, but was the performance a bit shorter this time? I felt like it ended in about an hour and a half without any breaks.

I was satisfied.

シルクドソレイユが東京公演をする時は必ずみに行っていますので、ハワイでも是非とも思い見に行きました。ハワイの衣装や道具を使っていて雰囲気も楽しめました。

We went out to sea about three times to catch some waves, and on the second time, we managed to ride a pretty big wave, which was really exciting. It lasted about 25 minutes, but based on the waves we caught, it felt like it could have gone on a bit longer.

スキマ時間に色々探していた所、未体験で興味を持ったイベントを見つけて予約しました。まだ新しいサービスとの事でワクワクしながら乗車　スタッフの女性は日本語で明るく接して頂き、装置説明もとても丁寧に教えていただきました。頭に装置をセットし個々に合わせてサイズ調整も可能な為、自分サイズでセット出来ます。映像が流れだすとパワーストーンがいくつも現れます。自分の手のひらを使ってグッとつかみゲットするとハワイの歴史や色々な説明を聞く事ができます。
つかみ方のコツとして私は素早くグッとつかむ感じでいくつもゲット出来ました。主人は服の袖口が長いと反応しづらいと言ってたので袖口はまくってた方が良いかもしれません。映像で色々な景色や解説を聞きながらアッと言う間に終点。
スタッフの方がとても朗らかでバス降車後に写真も撮って頂きありがたかったです。

Picked up on time, arrived at Diamond Head with plenty of time to take pictures etc. Family friendly tour, the malasadas were so yummy! Great views, no rush to finish the hike.
