The pickup was about 15 minutes late.
It’s a car marked with "Keana Farm Zipline," so you can just wait at the meeting point.

The instructors can understand simple Japanese.
However, the explanations for the zipline and during the ride were in English, so I couldn't understand the conversations or jokes.
There was a spot along the way where we could break and eat bananas and macadamia nuts.
Communication with the instructors was manageable, so it was fine.
It was really fun!
You can bring your own camera; I had my iPhone, but I thought a GoPro would have been better.

The thrill of being thrown into the air with just your body is incredible! Just a note: if you don't equalize your ears properly, they can hurt. Also, the really cold wind coming into your nose made it quite painful deep inside (+o+). But all of that turned into a great memory.

This was our first time in Oahu and first time at a Luau. Highly recommend Toa
Luau. We arrived a few hours early since ticket includes admission to the Waimea Valley Gardens and Falls. Bring swimsuits and take a dip into the waterfalls at the end of the valley! We walked back to the Luau in time for the fun activities and 'pre-Luau' events includes crafts. We attended as a couple but this would be wonderful for families. The Luau then began with an amazing show complete with dancing and fire! Cousin Billy our host was entertaining and hospitable--the entire experience has a 'family' welcoming vibe. The food was good with a variety of choices. Because we were on our honeymoon Cousin Bill called up all the anniversaries/honeymoon couples for a special gift and blessing which was so special to us. We would definitely return this time with our family! Great job Toa Luau we'll be back!

In the past, I experienced this once in Australia, but I couldn't fully enjoy it due to the fear and anxiety leading up to it, and I was left with regrets about the scenery being just rice fields. This time, I decided to try again in Hawaii.

This time, I could see both the ocean and the mountains, and I was even more moved than last time. It's an experience I think everyone should have at least once in their life. The instructor was a woman and very kind. She didn't speak Japanese, but she provided a lot of encouragement, which made me feel at ease. My husband, who tried it for the first time, was also thrilled.

This is true for Hawaii in general, but there is a strong push for tips. Each instructor has an envelope and a post box prepared. However, they kindly provide ATMs and currency exchange machines (for $1 or $5). For cameras and videos, you just need to check a form in advance, so if you don't want them, you can decline without hesitation. They don't ask much. I bought both a movie and photos in Australia, but knowing I would look unattractive no matter what, I declined this time. (laughs)

They pick you up at 5 AM, and you return to the hotel around 9:30 AM, so you can make very good use of your day! I highly recommend it! 😊

今回は海と山が一望できて、前回よりもさらに感動しました。人生に一度は経験してほしい体験です。インストラクターさんは女性で、とても親切。日本語は話せませんが、たくさん声かけしてくれて安心できました。初めて挑戦した旦那も大喜び。

ハワイ全般に言えることですが、チップのゴリ押しはあります。担当のインストラクターさんごとに封筒とポストが用意されてます。ただ、ご丁寧にATMや両替機(1ドルor 5ドル)を置いてくれてます。カメラとビデオは事前に用紙にチェックするだけなので、希望しなければ遠慮なく断れましたよ。特に何も聞かれません。私はオーストラリアでムービーも写真も買いましたが、どう頑張ってもブサイクになると知っていたので、今回は断りました。(笑)

朝5時にピックアップで、9時30分にはホテルに戻ってくる感じですので、とても一日有意義に使えます！おすすめです(^^)

There is no way to describe how amazing this experience was...the view was absolutely breath taking and the sensation of the free fall was one you will never forget. Since the waves are less impactful, it was recommended to depart early in the morning, so I booked the 09:00 tour. It was expensive to include a shuttle, so I chose the plan to meet at the location with a rental car. It took about an hour to arrive from Honolulu. The reception and tour guide spoke only English, but there were also Japanese informational signs, so it wasn't inconvenient.

We arrived at the point about 20 minutes after departure, and many sharks gathered around the boat. The zip line experience was amazing. The check-in is done on a tablet. After that, you put your belongings in a locker, which is quite small, so only valuables can fit. Other items can be stored at the reception. After putting on the gear, we set off. The instructions are in English, but you can understand them through the instructor's demonstration. Along the way, there are snacks like water, tomatoes, macadamia nuts, and bananas to keep you energized. I was satisfied with all seven zip lines. The movement felt like an athletic course and required some physical effort, but with support, it was manageable even for someone in their 50s. There was a helmet available for GoPro use. Since we experienced it with about ten people, it was a fun experience.

We participated as a family in the Polynesian Cultural Center for the second time. If you're visiting Hawaii, it's definitely worth going at least once. You can experience traditional Hawaiian culture, including homes and costumes, and of course, you can watch hula dancing and enjoy Polynesian cuisine. They also have performances, including a dance and fire show, which was truly enjoyable and a wonderful way to learn about the culture!

We had a great tour with (creepy) Uncle Kevin today on the North Shore of Oahu! We've been touring all around the world and can seriously rank Uncle Kevin as one of the best tour guides. The Surf Bus has the right equipment, the right itinerary and an excellent attitude. The bus was on time at every stage and Kevin had good solid connections at every stage. He took the time to work with each group on tour to insure they had the right experience. Some of the stops had multiple options and he was able to call ahead to report those options to the vendor. Kevin recommended great food and knew how important this is to an all day tour. One unmistakable clue that Kevin really knows what he is doing is that he knew so many of the other folks involved with the tour on a personal level. He's a local. He knew all of the answers because he grew up here.

Great attention to detail makes for a great tour. Uncle Kevin obviously knows what he is doing and we look forward to going on another Oahu tour with him soon. Also, kudos to the bus company. They had the right equipment and marketing to make Kevin's expertise shine.

Shows at each of the Polynesian cultures were scheduled to flow from one to the other. Huki: A Canoe Celebration was a beautiful gathering of the features of all cultures represented at the park. Being a small physical park area, walking between activities was not stressful and workers were happy to help if you couldn't find a show. Great value for money.

I received a video and explanation beforehand, but I struggled with my breathing and felt anxious. After the parachute opened, I was spun around quite a bit and felt very nauseous. My husband seemed to enjoy it and didn't mind his breathing or feel sick for long. I think it depends on the individual. If I had taken motion sickness medication, it might have been different. The instructor was kind and maintained a comfortable distance, checking on us until the last moment.

It was absolutely amazing!!! I chose the 4,000m option, and that was the right choice! I think with the 2,000m, there wouldn't be enough time in the air before the parachute opens. I will definitely repeat this when I go to Hawaii again!!!

First of all, Japanese is hardly understood here. Even if you're not good at English, it's better to have at least a basic understanding to keep up. Those who think they can get by without knowing any English in Hawaii might find some things difficult to understand. Many guidebooks mention that Japanese is often not spoken in the North Shore, and that's quite accurate.

There are seven zip lines, but the first one is a practice zip line that is about 300 meters long (including this practice, there are eight zip lines in total). After a brief explanation of the harness and equipment installation precautions, you jump right into the practice. There's no time to be scared; you just have to dive in (laughs). The first tower is about 7 to 8 meters high, I think. As someone with a fear of heights, I couldn't afford to be scared and went for the first practice. Family members and other participants also had to take their turns without hesitation. Once this practice was over, we took a nine-person buggy to the top of the mountain for the main event. The eight main zip lines started from there. There was a brief downpour during the ride, but the two hours flew by.

As the name "Keana Farm" suggests, we slid down over the farm, which felt really nice, and I think the longest zip line of 800 meters is possible because it's on a farm. The kids were also having a great time without any fear.

　７本のジップラインですが、最初のにいきなり300メートルくらいの練習ジップライン（この練習を含めると８本のジップライン）。ハーネスや金具の取り付け注意事項の説明の後すぐこの練習用で実践です。怖いとか言っている暇は無く有無を言わさず飛び込むしか有りません（笑）。最初の塔は７～８メートルくらいは有るのでしょうか。高所恐怖症の私ですが怖いなんか言ってられず１本目の練習を実践。家族や他の参加者の方々も次々と有無を言わさず順番が回ってきます。この練習が終われば本番の為９人乗りのバギーで山頂へ。ここから８本、本番がスタートです。途中スコールも数分降りましたが２時間強があっという間でした。
　ケアナファームと言うだけあって、農園の上を次々と滑り降りていくのでとても気持ちよく最長800メートルという長さを経験できるのも農場だからなのだと思います。
　子供たちも怖がらずとっても楽しんでました。

I headed to the airport early in the morning by rental car. From check-in to the briefing, everything went smoothly without any difficulties.

The view after exceeding 4,000 meters was breathtaking.

Even after the parachute opened, we plunged into the clouds, making it an attraction full of service spirit.

However, perhaps due to lack of sleep when I participated, I felt quite fatigued afterward and needed to take a nap after returning to the hotel. I definitely recommend being in good health before participating.

This is the feedback from my entire family, but I feel that having earplugs would make the experience more comfortable. I think there’s a possibility that your ears might hurt during the flight, which could detract from the enjoyment.

As for tips, I don’t think it’s at the level of being forced. It’s possible to give based on personal discretion.

We purchased the Super Ambassador package and we were treated like royalty. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and respectful. Iotua was our guides name so we highly recommend him. Learning about the other islands in the pacific was fun. They told you just enough that now we would like to visit each one. The parade on water was really something you don’t want to miss. Also the Breath of Fire program was awesome!
