I loved the polynesian cultural center. The luau, night show and the overall cultural center were amazing. It was great fun, but I would recommend the whole day activity because you need that much time to visit all the different islands and their shows at the center. This was my second time visiting the center and I would recommend it to anybody.

A great overview of Polynesia. I enjoyed my day. I suggest a guided tour to see everything. Unfortunately, no cocktails are available.

On June 7th, I participated with my mother-in-law, her friend, my sister-in-law, the neighbor lady, and the neighbor's sister, making a total of six people. I joined a different tour (in English) last year, but I had a great time even on my second visit. Everyone who went with me was very moved. The night show was especially amazing. I was thanked with, "Thank you for taking us."

6月7日に義母、義母の友達、義妹、隣のおばちゃん、おばちゃんの妹の6人で参加しました。私は去年は別のツアー（英語）で参加したのですが、2回目でも十分、楽しかったです。一緒に行ったみんな、とても感動していました。特に夜のショウは最高ですね。「連れて行ってくれてありがとう。」と感謝されました。

Very good for first time event. Would do it next time we are back in hawaii. I did tell a few people at the hotel, who did book and take the same event. Got some very good pictures.

Thoroughly enjoy our whole day at the Center. The activities were great and the luau dinner was wonderful. Everyone we met there was extremely courteous, helpful, informative, and friendly! Would highly recommend everyone partake of this adventure!

Our family participated with three children. It was amazing to see sharks up close and so safely. The captain was also very kind. I absolutely recommend this as a must-do activity in Hawaii. We also purchased a DVD, which allowed us to enjoy the beauty and excitement of the sharks again at home.

I absolutely love this tour and have repeated it about five times. I recommend it for those who enjoy watching shows and dances. The only downside is that it's far from Waikiki, but I still think it's worth the trip. I've seen the show from various seating options, and nothing beats the sense of presence! If you're going to make the effort to go, I recommend getting good seats. It's a completely different experience! The ice cream that comes with the package might be difficult to finish if you're not a fan of sweets, but it still makes for a fun memory. The dinner buffet isn't something that will leave you amazed, but I was able to enjoy a variety of dishes. I definitely plan to go on this tour again! 😊

このツアーは大好きで、5回ほどリピートしています。
ショウやダンスを観るのが好きな方にはオススメです。
ワイキキから遠いのが難点ではありますが、
それでも行く価値は充分にあると思います。
いろんな席種でショウを見ましたが、やはり臨場感に勝るものなし！
せっかく足を運ぶならいい席で観るのをオススメします。

セットでついてくるアイスは、甘いもの好きな人じゃないと完食は難しいかもですが
でも、それも楽しい思い出になります。
夕食のビュッフェは、すっごくおいしい！！と感激するものではありませんが
フツーにいろいろ取って、楽しんで食べられましたよー

There is nothing like swimming in the warm ocean while being surrounded by sharks. It was an unreal experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat. The staff was awesome!

I participated on the night of my arrival in Hawaii. I felt sleepy and dozed off on the bus and during the show (especially during the relaxed hula). The show itself made me feel like "I've really come to Hawaii." The meal was a buffet and the taste was decent. I think it's worth participating if it's your first time in Hawaii.

ハワイ到着日の夜に参加しました。眠気が襲ってきて、バスの中やショー中（ゆったりしたフラの時）にうたた寝してました...。
ショー自体は｢ハワイに来たなぁ｣と感じるものでした。食事はバイキングで味はまずまずでした。
初めてハワイに来たという方なら参加してもいいと思います。

My husband and I had a great time. We only went for half of the day and wish we would have gone the whole day. Our favorite was the Samoa presentation.

my husband and i enjoyed our time at the polynesian cultural center, but next time i think we will do the all day package. there is just so much to see that it is hard to cram everything in just a few hours. the show was absolutely amazing and the food at the luau was very delicious!

The dive was awesome. We had to reschedule due to bad weather, but I didn't mind because I appreciated the captain canceling the trip instead of taking me out for a bad trip. The experience was great, it made my time in Hawaii totally worth it. I would recommend this trip and this group to everyone. It's the best trip you can go on in the islands.

It is unfortunate that sharks have gotten the label of being mindless eating machines that attack anything that twitches in the water. I was able to experience first hand just how wrong this stereotype actually is.

The moment we arrived, sharks began to make there way to us. The regulars, the Sandbar Sharks, are attracted to the sound of the boat engine and quickly swam up to say hi!, but then an unexpected visitor decided to drop by. My jaw literally dropped when I saw a HUGE tiger shark circling the boat. Then another came by...then ANOTHER! We were lucky since Tiger Sharks are fairly rare.

As the first four made there way into the shark cage, the remaining four, including me, waited on board and watched the sharks from the surface. These creatures just circled the cage and boat and at times a Tiger Shark would pop his head out of the water to munch on some fish. This shark could have easily bitten the crew member, but all he (she?) did was nibble and go.

I visited after a year. My impression is that this year's students are a bit lacking? For first-time readers, they might be thinking, "Huh? What?" The Polynesian Cultural Center operates as a nonprofit organization for students who receive scholarships from the adjacent school. Because of this, they graduate in four years... Last year there was a standing ovation, but this year was just okay. However, there were some good things. The food at the Standard was good.

So, I'm looking forward to seeing improvements next year. Mahalo.

１年ぶりに行きました。感想は、今年の学生は、キャシャかな？まだまだ？て感じです。初めて読む人は、え？何？て思うかも知れませんが。ポリネシアカルチャーセンターは、隣接した学生が、奨学金を受ける為の非営利団体で営業しています。その為４年で卒業してしまうので・・・・・？
去年はスタンディングオベーションでしたが。今年はまあまあでした。でも良いことが有りました。？？？スタンダードでも料理が、良かったです。
・・・と言うことで。来年は良くなっているか楽しみです。マハロ。

SIMPLY FANTABULOUS!!!!! HOPING TO RETURN SOON!!!!!!

Wow, wow and wow!!!! This was a truely amazing experience. To be that close to sharks in the water, to look them in the eye and feel their distain...... what a feeling. For anyone thinking of doing this trip, I seriously recommend doing the 7am dive, especially if you're going while the Tradewinds are still blowing. It was a little rough when we were out there and it would have been much worse later in the day. Also, if you've never snorkelled before, buy yourself a mask and practice for a couple of days beforehand, its not at easy as it looks. You'll get much more out of it if you know what you're doing with your mask and snorkel.

Jennifer, our guide for the island tour, was very helpful. When I bought a necklace at a jewelry store, there was a problem with the Vatican and the service chain not being packaged properly. However, Jennifer contacted the store, and the store manager and his wife came to our hotel to address the issue. The meal at the Polynesian Center was disappointing. Lunch and dinner had similar menus. The show was wonderful.

島内観光のガイドのジェニファーさんにとても良くしていただきました。
途中のジュエリー屋さんでネックレスを買った際、バチカンの不具合と、
サービスチェーンが梱包されていなかったというトラブルがありましたが、
ジェニファーさんがお店に連絡をして下さり、ジュエリー屋さんの店長さんと
奥様が宿泊先のホテルに来て対応してくれました。
ポリネシアセンターの方は食事が期待はずれでした。
昼食と夕食が同じようなメニューでした。ショーはすばらしかったです。

Date of participation: March 19, 2007 (Monday). We participated as a couple. Gunstock Ranch is about an hour and a half by car from Waikiki, located beyond the Polynesian Cultural Center. The area is lush and green, quite different from the rocky terrain of the Big Island, making it suitable for horseback riding. We gathered at 8:30 in the morning. It was just the two of us participating. After the rain, the greenery and rainbow were beautiful. We signed some documents, learned the basics of horseback riding, and mounted our horses. We proceeded with three horses into the greenery. Along the way, the female guide asked, "RUN?" and when I answered "YES," we started to gallop. The horse I rode was well-trained and very responsive. Since it was a horse that wanted to run, I hardly had to kick it at all. We mostly galloped except for the climbs and descents to the hill and some slippery red dirt areas. The trees on both sides formed an arch, and we moved through it at a comfortable speed. The guide picked guava fruit for us, which was sour and delicious. When we reached the top of the hill, we had a 360-degree view. We could see the ocean as well. The wind felt nice, and the view was amazing. The hour flew by. It was a lot of fun.

ガンストック牧場はワイキキから車で約１時間半、ポリネシアカルチュアルセンターの先にあります。緑が一面に広がっていて、ハワイ島のゴツゴツした地面とは違い、乗馬に適していました。朝、８時半に集合。参加は私たち夫婦２人のみ。雨上がりで緑と虹がとてもきれいです。書類にサインをし、乗馬の基本を教えてもらい騎乗。緑の中へ３頭で進んでいきます。途中、女性のガイドさんから「ＲＵＮ？」と言われたので「ＹＥＳ」と答えると駆け足開始。乗った馬は良く調教されていてとてもよく言うことを聞きます。走りたがりの馬だったのでほとんど蹴らずにすみました。丘までの上り下りや、赤土むき出しで滑りやすい場所以外はほとんど駆け足です。両側の木がアーチになっていて、その下を心地よいスピードで進みます。ガイドさんがグァバの実を採ってくれます。すっぱくておいしい。丘のてっぺんに上ると、そこからは３６０度の視界が開けます。海も見えます。風も気持ちよく最高の眺めです。あっという間の１時間でした。とても楽しかったです。

Since my son's wedding is in Hawaii, I took the opportunity to challenge myself to skydiving, which I've always wanted to do, as a celebration of my upcoming 60th birthday in March. I participated with excitement and felt no fear at all; jumping from 4,500 feet was nothing. The blue sky I flew through with the instructor was amazing. Surrounded by the blue sky and blue ocean, it was a very happy experience of walking in the air.

If you're hesitating about whether to try skydiving, I definitely recommend taking the plunge. You'll experience a feeling that only those who have jumped can understand! Even now, when I close my eyes, I can feel myself flying in the sky. I'm really glad I challenged myself to skydiving! It was so much fun!!

息子の結婚式がハワイであるので、ついでと言ってはなんですが３月に還暦を迎える記念に念願だったスカイダイビングに挑戦して見ました。ワクワクしての参加で全然
怖くなく、４５００フィ−トも何のその、インストラクタ−と飛んでいった青空は最高でした。青い空と青い海、風の中、とても幸せな気分での空中散歩でした。
スカイダイビングをやろうかどうしようか迷っているのなら、是非挑戦する事をお勧めします。飛んだ人にしか判らない気分を味わえますよ！
今も目を瞑ると空を飛んでいる自分を感じます。

When I was in elementary school, I saw skydiving on TV and thought I wanted to try it at least once, so I was really looking forward to it. When I told my friends, they said, "Eww, scary!" but my curiosity was stronger than my fear, and I was excited to find out what it would be like.

When I actually jumped, I was surprised by how strong the wind pressure was during free fall. The wind was so intense that it felt like it was sucking in my cheeks, making it hard to breathe, but it felt amazing. The cameraman was flying opposite me, and I wanted to pose for the camera, but I didn’t have the energy for that at all. They took about 100 pictures in total, and even though I hesitated because it was expensive, I’m glad I chose the photo package.

Once the parachute opened, it felt like I was floating down slowly, and I was able to enjoy the view from above. When I landed, my legs were shaking, but I was really glad I did it. They say it can change your perspective on life, and I felt like I could do anything.

小学生の頃、テレビでスカイダイビングをしているのを見て一度やってみたいと思っていたのですごく楽しみでした。
友達に言うと「え~~~怖い~~」って言われたけど、恐怖よりも好奇心の方が強くてどんな感じなのかワクワクでした。
実際飛んでみて、フリーホールがこんなに風圧が強いとはビックリでした。
ほっっぺたが凹んじゃうくらいの風で息をするのも大変だったけど、すごく気持ちよかったです。
カメラマンが向いで飛んでくれるのでカメラに向かってポーズとりたいのにそんな余裕全然ありませんでした。
トータルで100枚くらいとってくれたし、高いから迷ったけど写真つきにしてよかったです。
パラシュートが開いてからはふ~わふ~わとゆっくり降りてくる感じで上空からの景色も堪能できました。
地上に着いたときは足がガクガクでしたが飛んでホントに良かったです。
人生観が変わるって言うけど、なんだか何でも出来るような気持ちになりました。

I am very satisfied with the interesting content of the Polynesian Cultural Center. I also felt the kindness of the young volunteers deeply.

However, I have some complaints. The tour included sightseeing around the island, but the guide was too pushy in trying to sell products at the store they recommended. Since many participants were elderly, they ended up buying things due to the pressure. While it's ultimately the buyer's responsibility, I have serious doubts about the high prices of the products and whether they are worth it. It seems that others who participated also made purchases, but later expressed regret about it. This is not just a matter of personal responsibility; I believe it's problematic to encourage product purchases during the tour. In contrast to the wonderful content of the Polynesian Cultural Center, the guide's attitude during the bus ride was an issue.

　ポリネシア文化センタ−の面白さや内容については、大変満足しています。若いボランティアの方の親切さも身にしみたようです。
　不満なことは、島内観光も一緒のツア−でしたが、ガイドの方が案内して頂いた店で、余りにも商品を進めて購入させようとしています。参加したのが年寄りだったのですが、しつこさに閉口して購入しました。購入した本人の責任ですが、商品の高額なこととその品に見合う金額ではないのか、はなはだ疑問です。一緒に参加されていた人も購入していたようですが、後でこれには参ったという声が上がっていたようです。自己責任で片づく問題ではなく、ツア−の最中に商品の購入を勧めるのが問題ではないでしょう。ポリネシア文化センタ−の内容が余りにもすばらしかったのと反対に、車中でのガイドの態度の方が問題でした。

The meal was not served due to the center's policy (no alcohol), but the food was delicious.
After that, the exciting show began! The authentic hula dance and fire show were all impressive and captivating. It was wonderful. We had great seats (second row from the front center) and enjoyed it immensely. My child was thrilled and exclaimed, "I want to go again!"
The tour guide, Kana, was very entertaining and easy to understand during the bus ride. Thank you for your help.

お食事はセンターのポリシーという事で（アルコールは）出なかったが、お料理は美味しかったです。
その後、楽しみなショーの始まり！始まり！本場のフラダンス、ファィヤーショウ等など、どれも迫力ある見ごたえでした。素晴らしかったです。又お席がとても良い席で（中央前から２番目）大いに楽しめました。子どもが大喜びで、「又行きたい！」と興奮していました。
ツワーガイドの「ＫＡＮＡさん」のバスの中でのガイドもとても面白く分かりやすくて良かったです。お世話になりました。
ＫＡＮＡさん、高速道路走行中にバスの中で転倒してしまいましたが・・・お身足は大丈夫ですか？大事に至らなくて宜しかったです。お大事に！

I stayed from the opening until the end of the show, and there were so many facilities to visit that one day was definitely not enough. On that day, I had a very clear and enjoyable tour guided by a Japanese exchange student. For example, since there were many visitors, they took us to hidden spots to ensure we could definitely see the shows and made efforts to secure seats for the shows. I believe each Japanese exchange student brings their own personality to create different tours. If I visit again, I think I will be able to experience a completely different tour.

開園からショーの終わりまでの滞在でしたが、見学できる施設が多く、とても1日ではまわり切れません。
当日は日本人留学生の方の案内でとてもわかりやすく、楽しいツアーを体験できました。例えば、入場者が多いので、確実にショーが見れるように穴場に連れて行ったり、ショーの席が確保できるように努力したりと、おそらく日本人留学生の方それぞれの個性がいろいろなツアーを作っているのだろうと思いました。もし次回訪れたら、全く違うツアーが体験できると思います。

I often go to Hawaii, so I've participated in whale and dolphin cruises many times, but I had been curious about it for a while, so this time I tried a shark tour for the first time.

I definitely got seasick. Since I'm not very good on boats, I think it's better for those who are worried to bring motion sickness medication.

It seems that it's still not very popular among Japanese people, but the Americans who participated with me were incredibly excited. I wonder if they have a lot of adrenaline?

When you think of sharks, you might have a scary impression, but the sharks I saw in the North were beautiful, and I couldn't help but be captivated by their swimming.

It seems that the number of sharks you can see varies by day, but there are almost no days when you can't see any. I recommend planning a full day in the North Haleiwa area with a rental car and allocating some free time for the shark tour.

It feels a bit wasteful to go all that way just for that, but I think it's worth participating at least once.

ハワイには良く行くので、クジラやイルカのクルーズは何度も参加してますが、前から気になっていたので、今回はじめてシャークツアーに挑戦してきました。

たしかに酔いました。
もともと船に強くないので、心配な人は酔い止めの薬を持っていったほうが良いと思いました。

日本人にはまだまだ人気が弱いらしいですが、一緒に参加したアメリカ人たちのハシャギようと言ったらありません。彼らは血の気が多いのかな？？

サメと言うと怖い印象がありますが、ノースの海で見たハワイのサメは美しく、泳ぐ姿はなぜか見とれてしまいました。

日によって、会えるサメの数は違うようですが、見れないという日はほとんどないみたいですね。お勧めは、レンタカーなどで終日ノース・ハレイワ方面のプランを立てて、空き時間をサメツアーにあてるという感じですかね？

それだけ行くともったいない気もしますが、一度は参加する価値ありと思います。

I have seen the show before, but it’s amazing every time! This time, I signed up for the Deluxe & Circle Island tour! I brought my grandfather, who is visiting Honolulu for the first time, so we participated with sightseeing included. The guide was fun, and the atmosphere on the bus was relaxed and enjoyable, with sightseeing stops along the way—two birds with one stone! The lunch was delicious, and at the cultural center, we could experience various things. I learned about the cultural differences of the Polynesian islands and the various styles of dance, which was truly enjoyable. The student guide was also kind and attentive, taking care of the interpretation and my grandfather until the end! Thank you very much. We had seats in the second row from the front, almost in the center! It was the best seat! The show was powerful, and I could see each performer’s expressions clearly, understanding their heartfelt expressions. During the break, I enjoyed ice cream with a service voucher, and it was very tasty. Of course, I brought back the pineapple-shaped cup from Japan!

以前にも、ショーは見ましたが、何度観ても、最高です！
今回は、デラックス＆サークルアイランドで申し込みました！
ホノルルが初めてのお爺ちゃんを連れて来ましたので、観光も含めて参加しました。
案内の方も楽しい方で、バスの中も和やかで楽しい時間で、あちこち観光もあり、一石二鳥！
ランチも美味しかったし、文化センターではいろいろな事を体験でき、ポリネシアン諸島の文化の違いや、ダンスも色々違いがあることが解り、本当に楽しかったです。
案内の学生さんも親切丁寧で、最後まで通訳やお爺ちゃんのお世話もしてくれました！ありがとうございます。
ショーは前から二列目で、ほぼ中央！最高の席でした！迫力があり、一人一人のひょうじょうが良く見え、心から表現しているのが良く解りました。
休憩中もサービス券でアイスを頂き、とても美味しかったです。
もちろん、アイスのパイナップル型のカップは、日本に持って帰りました！

This time, we participated in this tour as a large family trip to Hawaii, including my spouse and both of our parents, to show our appreciation to them. Honestly, I had no expectations at first, but the show was quite impressive, and we were able to enjoy it a lot. I recommend it for older adults and families.

今回は、私達夫婦と両家の親も含めた大家族でのハワイ旅行で、親孝行もかねて、このツアーに参加しました。始めは正直全く期待していなかったのですが、ショーも見ごたえがあり、なかなか楽しむことができました。年配の方や家族連れにはお勧めです。
