It was my first time horseback riding, and all three of us were truly satisfied with the smart horses. However, I had prepared under the assumption that we would be able to sightsee in Haleiwa, so it was disappointing that we only passed by and saw it from the car window. This experience is not suitable for those who want to shop or explore in Haleiwa. The taste was not as good as I had hoped, but I was able to enjoy the huli huli chicken and garlic shrimp, and I had a pleasant day overall. The guide was knowledgeable and flexibly took us to points where sea turtles come ashore. Thanks to that, I was able to take a great photo with a large turtle, which became a wonderful memory.

初めての乗馬でしたが、本当に賢い馬ばかりで、参加した３人とも大満足でした。
ただ、ハレイワの街を観光できるものと思い込んで下調べをするなどして準備していたので、車窓から見て通り過ぎるだけだったのは残念でした。
ハレイワで買物や見学をしたい方には不向きです。
味は期待したほどではなかったけれどフリフリチキンやガーリックシュリンプも食べる事ができたし、気持ちのよい一日を過ごす事ができました。
ガイドさんは物知りで、海亀の上陸するポイントなども臨機応変に案内して下さいました。おかげで、大きな亀とのツーショットを撮る事もでき良い思い出になりました。

We upgraded to the full day, rather than sticking to the late entry. We wanted to have more time to check out the presentations etc. The presentations were interesting and well done. They came over as authentic rather than cheesy or Disneyesque. The staff were excellent all 'round. There were showers passing through, but it didn't take away from our day, as there were plenty of buildings/huts to head into, and showers don't seem to last too long in this part of the world. The entertainment and food at the Luau was good. It did take a long time to get to the lining up and eating part, but there were a lot of people. It would have been better if they started processing the tables through the buffet right after the unveiling of the pig, and we could just watch the entertainment as we went, instead of largely sitting for nearly an hour before anyone started lining up. The HA show was amazing, and I would recommend it too anyone going to Oahu. Overall an opportunity to learn about

My first skydiving experience from 14,000 feet was truly one of a kind. However, the waiting time before the jump and for the return shuttle was excessively long and felt like a waste (they didn't provide any estimates), so I wouldn't recommend it for those who are impatient.

3) I would like to allow photography without a flash during the show (audience members who do not comply should be asked to leave).

It was an early morning pickup, but when I got into the car, there were already many people there. During the ride, I signed some documents, and as soon as we arrived at the location, we watched a video that explained the precautions and tips before getting ready to jump!

They called our names in order, and we were fitted with various equipment, and off we went!!!

When we reached 4,000 meters, those who boarded the plane after me started jumping one after another, in the reverse order of boarding.

Next was my turn!! I was so nervous!! But before I could even feel scared, the instructor timed it perfectly, and we took off (laughs). That's how it goes, I guess^^;

The breathtaking view from the moment we took off was incredible!! Seeing it with my own eyes was completely different from seeing it in photos!!

But in an instant, the parachute opened, and we got to see various directions and even spun around a bit… I had a truly wonderful experience and I'm very satisfied.

I want to fly in the sky again someday!!

早朝のお迎えでしたが、車に乗り込むと既にたくさんの方がいました。

とても素晴らしい体験ができて満足しています。

I signed up for the All-Day Super Ambassador starting from noon. I thought the price was a bit high, but since opportunities like this don't come around often, I decided to go for this course meal. However, the food was served buffet-style, just like the standard class, with only the seating being different. Even though I had a great time at the theme park and the dance show, I'm still disappointed about that meal.

On the day of the event, we rented a car, so we opted out of the shuttle service. The meeting time was set for 9:00, so we arrived around 8:30, but the office was already open, and it seemed like the order of jumps was based on the order of check-in. Even though we arrived at 8:30, there were already many people there, and we ended up taking off around 9:30.

This was my second time skydiving, and it was just as amazing as the first. The view from the sky was incredibly beautiful, and I felt no fear at all when jumping from the plane. I was surprised when we passed through the clouds, as the temperature suddenly dropped. I had requested photos, so I flew facing the photographer a couple of times. The pictures turned out really well, and I wished I had done more poses (the instructor was doing various poses for us).

There was a box for tips, and after we finished, the instructor and photographer pointed out their respective boxes, so I left a tip there. The photos were ready in about ten minutes. After confirming them and making the payment, we finished up and left around 10:30 since we had a rental car. It seemed like the shuttle passengers had to wait for their bus back to Waikiki, so I think it's more efficient to go on your own if you can.

チップを入れる箱がおいてあり、終わったあとにインストラクターとカメラマンが自分の箱を教えてくれたので、そこにチップを入れておきました。
写真は１０分ほどですぐにできました。それを確認して、代金を支払い、私たちはレンタカーだったので10：30頃には終了して出発しました。ワイキキに戻るバスの時間は決まっているようで、送迎付きの人はまだ待っていました。行くなら自分たちで行くほうが時間を有効に使えると思います。

I went based on a friend's recommendation!
At first, I signed up for the standard option, but I changed to a higher tier because I heard the seats and meals were better, and I could have a better experience.
I'm not sure if the timing of the experience is determined by the guide or something else, but it was a bit lacking. The meal was delicious, especially the crab!
The seats for the evening Polynesian show weren't that close, so the standard option might have been fine after all...

This is a tour that you can only experience here!! The location is on the North Shore, so it’s a bit far, but I definitely recommend participating. It’s very safe and you can join with peace of mind.

I signed up for the tour without transportation and met at the location because I had a rental car to enjoy the North Shore afterward. Since you can only get to the North Shore by car, I recommend going with a rental car.

The location is at the port next to Alii Beach, where there is a sign. There’s no one around, and it can be a bit difficult to find, so I recommend arriving early.

You will travel to a cage anchored offshore on a mysterious boat called "Dangerous Boat." About eight people will enter the cage.

You can see sharks from the boat, but once you’re in the cage, several sharks measuring 3 to 5 meters swim around you. When you throw food from the boat, you can see their fierce side, which is very exciting. It lasts about 20 minutes, but it was a lot of fun.

However, please note that Japanese is not spoken. After getting off the boat, there are showers at the nearby Alii Beach, so it’s better to park your rental car at Alii Beach! If you plan to go to the North Shore, I highly recommend it.

大体８人くらいでケージに入ります。

船の上からでもシャークの姿が見えますが、ケージの中に入ると目の前を３～５mのシャークが数匹ケージの周りを泳いでいます。船の上から餌を投入すると獰猛な一面が見れて大興奮します。２０分程度で終わりますがとても楽しかったです。

但し、日本語が通じませんのでご注意ください。船から上がったらシャワーは隣のアリイビーチにありますので、レンタカーはアリイビーチに停めたほうがいいでしょう！ノースショアに行く予定があれば是非お勧めします。

This was my first time participating in an optional tour on-site. There are similar shows in Waikiki, but the Polynesian Cultural Center here has a different level of excitement and emotion. I felt it was highly recommended for first-timers. Leaving the city and traveling with the guide into the North Area, surrounded by the mountains, was thrilling and enjoyable as I took in the scenery from the car window. I loved the dinner buffet, which had top-notch flavors and a great atmosphere; everything was delicious. At first, I was really hesitant, but thinking about not going and missing out made it clear that it was the right decision to attend. I highly recommend it. Next time, I’d like to participate in a daytime tour while leisurely exploring the market and souvenir area. I want to say, "Thank you for the wonderful time in Hawaii." Thank you so much; we had a good time.

After accompanying my wife to the 'Moku O Keawe' hula festival on the Big Island, we moved to Oahu. We were taken care of at the Polynesian Cultural Center's Twilight Deluxe, which I had booked online from Japan. The shuttle service to the hotel was very convenient and comfortable. Dinner was buffet-style, allowing us to choose what we liked and adjust the portions, which was great. We enjoyed Hawaiian songs accompanied by local students on the ukulele, and my wife danced the hula, making for a delightful meal. It would have been nice to have some drinks, but since it's the "Cultural Center"...

The evening show had us in the front row, right in the sand. The dancers' rhythms and emotions resonated deeply, and we even got sand on us—it was an incredibly moving performance. The authentic dance was truly amazing! For a man over sixty, it was a precious and unforgettable experience. Thank you to all the dancers, the students, and our driver, Guy. We have a commemorative photo displayed! Mahalo!

家内のフラ大会 'Moku O Keawe' ハワイ島に同行のあとオアフ島に移動。日本からネット予約しておいたポリネシア文化センターのトワイライトデラックスでお世話になりました。ホテル近くまで送迎がありとても便利で快適です。ディナーはビュッフェスタイルで好きなものを選べて量も調整できるで良いです。現地学生のウクレレ伴奏でハワイイアンソングを聞かせて頂き家内もフラを踊って楽しいお食事でした。お酒が頂けると良いですが「文化センター」なので・・・
イヴニングショウは最前列の砂かぶり席でした。ダンサーの鼓動や感情がもろに伝わってきて心に響き、おまけに砂もかぶり大感動の舞台でした。やはり本場の踊りは半端なく凄いです！還暦を過ぎた爺には貴重で最高の体験でした。ダンサーの皆さん、学生の皆さん、ドライバーのガイさん有難うございました。記念の写真飾ってますよ～！マハロ～！

We booked a luau at the Polynesian Cultural Center to watch hula dancing during dinner with our family of three. We departed Waikiki at 10:30 and arrived at the Polynesian Cultural Center just after 11:30. On the bus, we were the only Japanese people among mostly foreign guests (from the mainland United States, Australia, China, South Korea, Russia, etc.). During the approximately one-hour bus ride, the local guide spoke continuously in English, and it was so fast that we could hardly understand anything. We managed to confirm the return bus time and parking lot number just barely. However, upon entering, a Japanese guide was assigned to us, and she kindly showed our family of three around the center for about five hours. Lucky us! She provided detailed guidance on the shows in each village, hula dancing, and greetings. I had heard that video and camera use was prohibited for the night show since last year, so it was disappointing, but after the show, we were able to take photos with the performers and safely returned to our hotel on the waiting bus. On the way there, my anxiety peaked, but the kind guide during the indoor tour at noon led us, and we were able to enjoy the final show, ending a fun day. I recommend the luau course. We also got to try samples of Samoan breadfruit and taro.

家族3人でポリネシア文化センターで夕食時フラダンスを見るルアウを申し込みました。10時半ワイキキを出発して11時半過ぎにポリネシアカルチャーセンターにつきました。バスに乗るとなんと日本人は私たち３人のみで、あとは外国の方ばかり(アメリカ本土、オーストラリア、中国、韓国、ロシアなど)でした。約1時間のバス内では、現地ガイドが英語でしゃべりっぱなし、しかも早口でほとんど聞き取れませんでした。帰りのバスの時間と駐車場ナンバーをかろうじて確認することができました。でも入園時日本人ガイドを案内してくれ私たち家族３人に一人の日本人ガイドがついて、店内を約5時間丁寧に案内してくれました。ラッキー！。各村のショー、フラダンス、挨拶言葉など詳細に案内していただきました。ナイトショーは昨年からビデオ、カメラ禁止と聞いていましたので残念でしたがショーが終わって出演者と写真を撮らせていただき、駐車場に待機しているバスに乗り無事ホテルに帰着できました。行のバスでは不安が最高に達し、12時からの店内ツワーは親切なガイドに案内され、最後にショーを見ることができ、楽しい1日を終わりました。ルアウコースは推薦します。サモアのパンの実とタロイモの試食も試みさせてもらいました。

Oahu North Shore Beach Horseback Riding Experience - Daytime Tours

The horses were not your everyday trail horse, they were healthy and well taken care of. The staff was very personable and professional. I made a reservation on the site for 9:00 and checked in around 8:45, but I actually flew around 13:00. For some reason, I was marked as having flown around 12:00, and I was skipped in line, with people who arrived later flying before me. Is there really any point to making a reservation?

The skydiving itself was fun. However, both my wife and I were quite fed up with the long wait times. Our feelings changed from anxiety to anger, then to resignation and indifference, and we wasted half of our precious vacation.

The only Japanese staff member that day was unprofessional and didn’t use polite language. The female staff member at the reception didn’t show a single smile. Even when I tried to communicate my concerns, she responded with gestures that indicated she didn’t care.

While there may be people who simply say, "I had fun!" I think there is a lot of inconsistency in that. There are certainly personalities among the many instructors that may or may not match, but the reservation system and the unpleasantness of the reception staff were honestly terrible.

You never know what might happen on the day, and since there isn’t always a Japanese staff member present, I think you need a certain level of English proficiency to voice complaints and the mental strength to endure the rude staff and long wait times.

当日何があるかわからないし、日本人スタッフも常にいるとは限らないので、文句を言えるくらいの英語力と、雑なスタッフと長い待ち時間に耐えられる精神力は必要だと思います。

For the first time in my life, I flew in the sky. The feeling of fear lasts only for a brief moment as you drop. After that, the altitude is so high that you hardly feel like you're falling. The pressure of the wind from below made it hard to breathe, and I was desperately gasping with my mouth wide open. Also, at such a high altitude, I was able to see a round rainbow in the air. It was surprising! At one point, the instructor spun around in the air, but I got dizzy... People who are prone to motion sickness should be careful. Make sure to be in good condition before attempting this. Don't do it like I did, challenging it the day after arriving! (laughs) But it was incredibly fun. I definitely want to come back again.

My wife and I enjoyed our visit and horseback riding experience at the Gunstock Ranch. We did not want to go to a heavily commercialized facility for horseback riding. There were a lot of animals at the ranch and the scenery was beautiful. The ride trail was nice and rustic which we wanted in our experience. The guide provided us great instruction and information about the ranch, the area and plants along the trail.
Our only improvement suggestions are for the restroom facility's cleaning cycle, grading and packing the access road and a more legible road sign.

Skydiving was the main event of my trip to Hawaii. It turned out to be an amazing memory, just as I had hoped! Despite being cheaper than in Japan, I was thrilled to jump in such a wonderful location. I thought I would be scared when jumping, but before I could hesitate, I leaped right off. Thanks to my reliable instructor, I was able to jump with a smile. While taking in the blue sky and ocean, I experienced a rapid descent at first, and then after the parachute opened, I glided gently through the air, which felt fantastic. It was a unique experience that has become an unforgettable memory for a lifetime!

期待通り最高の思い出となりました！
日本に比べて安い価格なのに、素晴らしいロケーションで飛ぶことができ感激です。
ジャンプする時は恐いかと思ったけれど、恐いと躊躇する間もなく一気に飛び降りてしまいました。
でも頼れるインストラクターさんのお陰で笑顔で飛ぶことができました。
青い空と海を見渡しながら、最初は一気に急降下、パラシュートが開いてからはゆるやかに空を旋回しながら降り、とても気持ち良かったです。

I signed up for the deluxe package starting in the evening. There were many restrictions during the show, such as no photos allowed and needing to hurry back without stopping at the restroom, which made it a bit hectic. The return bus was going really fast, so my husband and I were quite anxious about it. The dance show was enjoyable, and the dessert ice cream was delicious.

I was glad I chose the deluxe meal. If I had only gone with the standard meal, there wouldn't have been much to eat. I think it's worth attending the show at least once.

The tour guide lady was very energetic. However, I got a bit tired of her saying that if we didn't cheerfully say "Aloha," she would make us do it again and again.

夕方からのデラックスで申し込みました。ショーの最中は写真NG、帰りはトイレに寄らず急いで戻るように等制約が多く、あわただしかったです。
帰りのバスは凄くスピードを出していたので、旦那と二人でハラハラしていました。
ダンスショーは楽しかったです。あとデザートのアイスも美味しかったです。

食事はデラックスにしておいて良かったと思いました。
スタンダードだけの食事だと食べられるものが少なかったので。
ショーに関しては一度は行った方が良いと思えるものでした。


案内人のおばさん。元気でしたとにかく。
でもアロハ―と元気に言わないと何度でもやると言われちょっとうんざりでした。

Really glad we did this, was just amazing!! Recomend to all!!

Got a wee bit sea sick, so do recomend that people that suffer from sea sick to take some pills the night/morning before doing it, but it was well worth feeling a little sick as it was such a awesome experience!!

I was picked up at noon, and we arrived at the hotel at 10:30 PM. I was physically exhausted, but the experience was quite enriching.

The dance performances on the boat were impressive, and the fire dance was also quite entertaining.

Among the activities, we made roses from thinly sliced bamboo. A kind staff member taught my 5-year-old daughter, and she created a beautiful rose. We are now displaying the roses we all made together at our entrance.

The meals were diverse and delicious.

The guide was very kind. However, I felt that this plan might be tough for those with young children in terms of time and physical stamina.

お昼に迎えに来て、ホテルに着いたのが夜１０時半でした。体力的にはぐったりでしたが、中身はなかなか内容が濃いものでした。
船の上で踊るダンスは見ごたえがありましたし、ファイヤーダンスもなかなか面白かったです。
中でも、竹？を薄く切ったもので、バラを作りました。５歳の娘に、お姉さんが優しく教えてくれて、素敵なバラが出来き、今我が家の玄関に全員で作ったバラを飾っています。
食事も種類が豊富で、美味しかったです。
案内のガイドさんは優しかったです。
ただ、幼児連れでのこのプランは、時間と体力的に辛いと思いました。
