I have booked this trip months ago. I requested after 12noon pick up and it was 7am pick schedule for us. Then it was adjusted to 12.05 .When we arrive Honolulu, I had to check with my hotel about the pick up area. They were surprise why we had to travel all the way from Hilton Waiikiki beach to Hilton Village . I had to speak to you again and reschedule the pick up to Marriot and time changed from 12.05 to 12.30. We all anxiously waiting for the 1st adventure at honoluu and it turned out to be a complete disaster. The vehicle with Poynesian was suppose to pick only some Japanese tourist. We have been wasting from 12.10pm to 1.45pm doing nothing and making several stressful phone calls. It all says organisation and coordination was poor.

Unfortunately it was a compete disaster. Thank you for organizing the refund.
We had some other tours organised with other people and it all turned out very well.

This was amazing. My whole family including my 15 year old says it was the best thing we did in Hawaii. Guides were great and loved what they do. We even saw whales on the way home and they tried to get us close to them for pictures. Fabulous time!

I participated with four colleagues from the company.

Since it was cloudy, we had to wait for a break in the weather to fly, and there were quite a few customers, so we ended up waiting for about 3-4 hours before taking off.

Because of that, I was extremely tired after the flight.

However, I think it's an experience that everyone should have at least once in their lifetime.

I went with four colleagues from work. The Polynesian Cultural Center is quite far away.

We only had the buffet and show package, but once we got there, there were various activities, so it might be worth considering the full-day package to enjoy everything.

I honestly didn't have high expectations for the buffet, but it was surprisingly delicious, so I was very satisfied.

I spent about 80% of the show sleeping, so I won't comment on it. However, my colleagues watched it properly and said they were "moved." I secretly thought, "How can you be moved when you don't understand English!?"

I signed up for a jump at an altitude of 4267m (14,000ft) alone. Pickup is available in front of hotels in Waikiki. After about an hour's drive, we arrived at the Pacific Skydiving Center. Since skydiving cannot be done if the clouds don't clear, we waited for about two hours that day. There wasn't much to do during that time (there's only a vending machine around), so I recommend bringing something to pass the time, like a guide map.

They operate with a single small airplane, which can accommodate 8 tandem pairs at once. In fact, they "must" be able to take 8 pairs at a time.

I signed up for 14,000ft but ended up on the same plane as those jumping from 10,000ft. Out of the 8 people, 3 of us, including myself, were supposed to jump from 14,000ft. Although I was puzzled, once I boarded, I jumped at the same time as those at 10,000ft. "Wow, that's low."

After the jump, and after giving a tip, I was informed that I had jumped from 10,000ft, and I received a $30 refund. It seems that "raising the altitude to 14,000ft for a few people incurs extra fuel costs, so it's more cost-effective to jump from 10,000ft and issue refunds." Since there were no clouds, it wasn't due to weather, and it seems they always handle it this way when they don't have enough people for 14,000ft.

Even though I chose 14,000ft for the skydiving experience, they changed it to 10,000ft without my consent based on the number of participants and informed me of this afterward. If I had known this, I probably wouldn't have used the Pacific Skydiving Center, as there are cheaper companies for jumping from 10,000ft.

I received various explanations for skydiving from Japanese staff. It's frustrating to be deceived by a Japanese person abroad, rather than by a foreigner.

The Pacific Skydiving Center is an insincere company. Also, tips are placed in a box (there's no confirmation of the amount), so you can just put in $10 casually.

飛んだ後、それもチップを渡した後に10000ftで飛んだことを伝えられ30ドルの返金が有りました。
「数人のために14000ftまで上がるのは余計に燃料代がかかるから10000ftで飛ばして返金したほうがコストがかからない」ということなのでしょう。
雲もありませんでしたので天候の理由ではなく、14000ftが8人揃わない時はいつもこういう対応をしているのでしょう。

せっかくのスカイダイビングだからと14000ftを選んでも人数によって勝手に10000ftへ変更され、事後にその事実を伝えるというこの対応はいかがなものでしょうか。
10000ftで飛ぶならより安い会社も有りますので、私はこれを知っていたらパシフィックスカイダイビングセンターは利用していないと思います。

スカイダイビングを行うための様々な説明は日本人のスタッフに受けました。
海外で外人に騙されるのならまだしも、海外で日本人に騙されるというのは余計腹が立ちます。

パシフィックスカイダイビングセンターは不誠実な会社です。
なおチップはポストに入れる形式ですので（額を確認されることもないので）適当に10ドル入れておけばいいでしょう。

We found a brochure at the Pineapple Center and quickly made a reservation on Veltra to try it out together. The mountain climbing with the buggy was more intense than I expected! The first zip line was scary, but after that, I got used to it and felt exhilarated. I highly recommend it!

I jumped out of the plane and descended without even having time to feel scared. There’s no time to feel fear, so I think it’s worth trying even for those who are afraid of heights. Jumping itself isn’t scary at all, but the speed during the descent is incredible, and the wind pressure can make it hard to breathe, so that’s definitely something to be cautious about. If you have any issues with your respiratory system, you really need to be careful. I also have a tendency towards asthma, so I found myself gasping for air like a fish out of water. After the parachute opened, the descent speed slowed down, and breathing became easier. If you request the instructor to do some turns, they will do so while descending, so definitely try to enjoy the descent with some turns. That was the most fun part!

怖いと思う暇もなく飛行機から飛び出て降下しました。恐怖感を感じてる暇もないので高い所が苦手な人でもトライする価値があるとます。飛び降りるのは全く怖くないですが降下するときスピードが凄いので風圧で呼吸困難になりますので其方の方が余程～注意すべき点になると思います。呼吸器系に多少でも問題がある方は本当に要注意です。私も喘息気味なので魚が酸素が足りなくて口をパクパクしてる状態になりました。パラシュートが開いた後は降下のスピードが緩やかになり呼吸も楽になります。インストラクターに旋回をリクエストすると旋回して降りてくれますので是非とも旋回しながら降りて下さい。それが一番～楽しかったです。

I have always liked roller coasters, but this is a thrill like no other.

The scariest part is when you jump off. But that fear quickly turns into excitement! It's so beautiful! At first, it's hard to breathe, but I'm just captivated by the amazing scenery beyond that. I wished I could fly a little longer. I want to do it again.

Photography and videos cost over 20,000 yen, and I wish it were a bit cheaper... but I thought I would like to do it with photos next time.

Since you have to wait for the standby time and for everyone to jump, it takes up half a day, so keep that in mind!

The staff are from Hawaii and can speak simple Japanese. However, the person in charge of me was quiet and didn't help me relax, which made me feel a bit, no, quite anxious during my first skydiving experience. Even though they are in customer service, I felt they had become too accustomed to it and were a bit too businesslike, which made me feel a little sad. So, I will deduct one star.

I've been to Hawaii countless times, but just like how people living in Tokyo may never have climbed Tokyo Tower, I've passed by the Polynesian Cultural Center many times, thinking I could go anytime... and it's been decades. This time, I finally went to see the show! I was just so moved ❤! Even though I didn't understand the words, I was completely drawn into the show, and it was the best moment! On the way back, my bus was parked in a different location, and I panicked a bit with the tour group, but I definitely want to bring my parents next time!

I got hooked on horseback riding on Maui and experienced trail riding on Hawaii Island and Maui (for the second time). It was my first time with a gunstock. I had a fantastic time at the trot, but during the second canter, the stirrup metal came off, which surprised me, but I managed to finish without falling off. After seeing everyone's reviews, I wondered if it would be a bother for me, a beginner who has only completed about 40 lessons, to join. However, I couldn't resist the temptation to ride a horse across the plains of Hawaii, so I nervously signed up. The result was a correct decision to challenge myself; I had a very enjoyable time. Since I usually only trot in the ring, this was my first time trotting on a trail, and it was also my first experience with a Western saddle and operating the reins with one hand. However, our guide Emily kindly taught me, and after learning the tip to loosen the reins compared to English riding, my horse Libby started to run smoothly. We trotted and cantered up the hills, and at the top, there was a wonderful view of the sea, sky, and the land of Oahu. Even if you're not an advanced rider, once you can trot, I highly recommend giving it a try. You'll surely discover even more charm in horseback riding.

The advanced tour is limited to four people per session.

By the way, the ranch is located in Laie, which is on the North Shore, about an hour's drive from Waikiki, just past the Polynesian Cultural Center. The weather there can differ from that in Waikiki. On the day I initially booked, it was sunny in Waikiki, but it was raining on and off at the location, making the trail muddy and dangerous for riding, so the tour was canceled at the last minute, and I had to turn back. Fortunately, I was able to rebook for the next day when there was availability. Both VELTRA and the local tour company, as well as the ranch, were very kind in their responses. However, I recommend that participants in the advanced course check the local weather by calling the ranch directly before departing from Waikiki to confirm if the tour is still on. 皆さんの評価を見て、まだ初心者で40鞍ほどレッスンを終えたばかりの私が参加しても迷惑かなあ、と思いつつ、しかしハワイの平原を馬で駆けてみたい誘惑に勝てず、恐る恐る申し込みました。結果はチャレンジして正解、とても楽しい時間を過ごすことが出来ました。普段はリング内でしか駆け足しないので、トレイルでの駆け足は初めてだし、ウェスタンの鞍や、片手で手綱を操作する方式も初めてでしたが、ガイドのエミリーさんが親切に教えてくれ、イングリッシュ乗馬よりも手綱を緩めるというコツを教わってからは、馬のLibbyちゃんが調子良く走り始めて、軽快なトロットやカンターで丘を駆け上がり、頂上では海と空とオアフの大地が見渡せる素敵な景色が。上級者でなくても、駆け足が出来るようになったら、ぜひ挑戦してみて欲しいです。きっと更に乗馬の魅力が発見出来ますよ。
上級者ツアーは一回につき4人限定だそうです。
尚、牧場があるLaieは、ワイキキからレンタカーで1時間強かかるノースショアにあり、ポリネシアンカルチャーセンターの少し先。ワイキキの天気とは異なる場合があり、当初私が予約した日は、ワイキキは晴天だったが、現地は雨が降ったり止んだりで、トレイルがぬかるんで馬を走らせるのが危険とのことで直前に中止になり、途中で引き返すハメに遭い、たまたま空いてた翌日に予約し直して参加出来ました。ベルトラも現地催行会社も牧場も、とても親切な対応して頂いたので良かったですが、上級コース参加者はワイキキを出発する前に、牧場に直接電話して現地の天候をチェックし、ツアー催行の確認をお勧めします。初心者向けの歩きだけのコースは、多少の雨でも催行出来るそうです。
