I took advantage of the pick-up service to Waikiki. In the morning, a cheerful older man came to pick me up in a van. All 11 of us boarded the 11-seater, and it took a little over an hour to reach the North Shore.

あとは、飛行機に乗り込んでジャンプしてエビゾリして足上げて着地して終わりです。
記念品をもらいます。その時チップを入れる袋をもらいます。チップを入れて箱に入れます。

帰りの車も同じメンバーで乗って帰ります。
スマホいじりながらサンドイッチを食べながら高速道路を運転するのは少し怖かったですが無事帰りました。

There are convenient bus transfers from several major hotels in Waikiki. On the day of the trip, I was worried because the bus arrived about 10 minutes late due to a traffic jam, but I was able to board safely.

I had always wanted to try horseback riding, but since the youngest was 7 and the oldest was 69, it was hard to find a place where everyone could ride together. Just when I was about to give up, I found this place!

I signed up for a one-hour course that started at 8:45 AM. We left Waikiki just after 7 AM, stopped at Leonard's to buy and eat malasadas on the way, and arrived at the location just in time for the meeting. We parked in the spacious parking lot and received instructions from the staff at the reception, then signed the waiver.

Wearing helmets was optional for adults, but of course, everyone wore one! We only put our phones and car keys in the provided leather bags. After using the restroom and playing with the goats and sheep in the area, it was suddenly time to start.

Each person was helped onto a horse, and we received a brief explanation on how to ride: pull the reins to stop, turn the reins in the direction you want to go, and give a light kick to the belly if the horse stops moving. Even the 7-year-old was able to ride alone and we set off right away! At first, I was nervous, but the horses were all calm and smart, which made me feel at ease.

There were hills to climb and we weaved through a herd of cows, making it feel like an attraction, which was enjoyable. We could take pictures anytime, but since we had to hold the reins, it was a bit tricky to operate the phone with one hand while turning around to take a shot. It might be difficult for those who aren't used to handling their phone with one hand. The ranch staff took quite a few pictures for us, but they were $8 each, so we decided not to purchase any.

Since we had a child with us, we moved at a relatively slow pace, but I would have liked to ride faster if it were just adults. Also, the 7-year-old was placed at the back, so everyone had to be mindful of the pace, and it would have been best if the adults were at the back instead.

We chose the one-hour course, but it actually lasted over an hour, which was more than enough. By the end, my hips and thighs were shaking! All the staff were women, and the restrooms and animal areas were kept relatively clean, which was quite impressive (though there was a lot of dust). The kids said that horseback riding was the most fun part! I highly recommend it!

1人ずつ馬に乗せていただき、手綱を手前へ引いたらストップ、手綱を曲がりたい方向へ向けたら曲がる、動かなくなったら足で軽くお腹を蹴るなど、軽く乗り方の説明を受けただけて、7歳の子供も1人で乗って早速出発❗️
最初は緊張しましたが、大人しく頭のいい馬ばかりだったので、乗っているこちらも安心できました。
坂道があったり牛の群れの間をすり抜けたり、アトラクション的な感じもあって楽しめます。
写真もいつでも自分たちで撮れます。
が、手綱は持ったままになりますので、片手で携帯を操作し、さらに後ろに振り向いてシャッターを押さないといけませんので、片手で携帯の操作をし慣れてる人じゃないと難しいかなと。
牧場の方もかなり撮ってくれますが、1枚8ドルだったので、購入はせず…
また、子供がいたのでかなりゆっくりのスピードで進んでくれましたが、大人ばかりならもっと早いスピードでも乗ってみたかったかな〜。
それと、7歳の子供が一番後ろに配置されたので、みんなが後ろを気をしながら進まないといけなく、できたら大人を最後にしてもらえたらベストではありました。

今回1時間のコースにしましたが、実質1時間以上あり十分でした。
最後になると股関節も太もももワナワナしてきて笑
スタッフは全員女性で、トイレや動物のいる所も比較的綺麗に保たれており、かなり好感持てました。(砂埃は凄かったですが)
子供達も、乗馬が一番楽しかったと言っていました‼️
めちゃくちゃオススメです‼️

The staff at North Shore Stables were all very friendly and attentive. The ATV’s were perfect for me and my boys. The course was diverse, interactive and provided for excellent photo opportunities. The course takes you through fields, a quick stop to see and feed animals then down to the beach for the ultimate photo opportunity. This was an excellent family friendly activity, my kids really enjoyed the whole experience. This is an outing for anyone looking for some excitement. I would definitely recommend this activity for a great way to spend a few hours while on Oahu!

I wanted to try skydiving at least once in my life, so I booked a plan with an instructor that included a handy camera and transportation.

On the day of the jump, it took about an hour to arrive at the destination from the hotel designated for pickup. I shared the ride with others who had booked at the same time. The driver occasionally spoke to everyone.

Upon arrival, the first step was to register basic information on an iPad. In the ID input section on the first page, if you booked through Veltra, you just needed to enter the last seven digits of the confirmation on your voucher. It was a bit unclear since "ID" was not mentioned on the voucher.

After finishing the registration on the iPad, I headed to the counter. At that time, there was someone who spoke Japanese at the counter, which made the process smooth. At the counter, they confirmed basic information, offered additional packages, and asked for my passport. Finally, I received a boarding ticket with a printed QR code.

After registering at the counter, I began preparing for skydiving. From this point on, the time until the jump varies depending on the day's circumstances. I was the first among the members who arrived in the same vehicle to be called. I greeted the instructor and began preparations. When we reached the jump point, the door opened, and one by one, we began to jump. There was hardly any time to feel scared; it was that quick.

Personally, the sensation during the fall was completely different from that of a free-fall ride at an amusement park. I didn't feel any nauseating sensation in my stomach; it felt more like riding a motorcycle at high speed, cutting through the wind. However, it was incredibly fast.

The goggles were fitted quite tightly, allowing me to enjoy the scenery even during the fall. Additionally, the instructor occasionally pointed the camera at my face and asked me to make certain gestures.

After the parachute opened, we floated down slowly to the ground. For me, this part was hell. I didn't feel sick at all during the fall, but after the parachute opened, I suddenly felt unwell. I think it was because I was excited and noisy during the fall, looking at the scenery and interacting with the instructor, which led to insufficient breathing and a near state of oxygen deprivation. When I quickly informed the instructor that I felt unwell, he kindly advised me on how much longer it would take to reach the ground and suggested I take deep breaths. I was really grateful for that. Once we landed, I was able to breathe easily and quickly recovered, chatting with the instructor and packing up the equipment.

After arriving on the ground, I received a skydiving certificate (which also serves as a picture book), a sticker, and a pen. At this time, I also received an envelope for tips. カウンターでの登録後、スカイダイビングの準備に入ります。ここからは、その日の状況によって飛ぶまでの時間が人によって変わってくると思います。
私は一緒の車に乗ってきたメンバーの中では一番早く呼ばれました。インストラクターと対面して軽く挨拶をして準備に入ります。ハーネスを装着した後、ジャンプする前と落下中に、どういう体勢を取ればいいか身振り手振りを交えてわかりやすく教えてくれます。ちなみに事前講習は以上です。

インストラクターとともにセスナへ向かいます。私以外に4〜5組くらいいました。セスナの中ではインストラクターが背中に密着した状態で飛ぶ順番に並んで座ります。かなりギチギチです。だんだんと高度が上がっていって雲の上まで到達します。

飛び出すポイントに到着すると、扉を開けて、次々にジャンプを開始します。怖がる余裕すらほぼないと思います。そのくらいどんどん飛び立ちます。

個人的に落下中の感覚は遊園地のアトラクションのフリーフォールとは全く異なるものでした。内臓が持っていれるような気持ちの悪い感覚はなくて、高速で移動してるバイクに乗って風を切っている感覚に近かったです。ただ、とんでもなく速いです。

ゴーグルをかなりきつめにつけるので、落下中でも景色を楽しむことができました。また、インストラクターの方が時々、カメラを顔に向けてくれたり、手でこんな形してみてみたいなことを求めてきてくれます。

パラシュートが開いた後はゆっくりと浮遊して地面まで降ります。私の場合はここが地獄でした。落下中は全く気持ち悪くなりませんでしたが、パラシュートを開いてから急に気分か悪くなりました。おそらくですが落下中に興奮して騒いだり、景色見たり、インストラクターと戯れた結果、呼吸が十分でなく酸欠に近い状態になったのだと思います。
気分が悪い事をインストラクターにすぐ伝えると、後どのくらいで地上につくとか、深呼吸をするようにと優しくアドバイスをくれました。本当にありがたかったです。地面に付いてからは安心して呼吸が整ったからか、すぐに回復し、インストラクターと話したり、器具を片付けることができました。

地上到着後に、スカイダイビングの証明書(兼絵本)、ステッカー、ボールペンをいただけました。このときにチップ用の封筒ももらえます。金額は他の方もかいてますが10〜30ドルくらいです。封筒にはチェック欄があって、運営団体へのチップか、一緒に飛んでくれたインストラクターへのチップかを選ぶことができました。

帰りの車も行きとほぼ同じメンバーでした、ほぼというのは飛ぶタイミングが遅い方が、次のタイミングの送迎に割り当てられたためと思います。プランが違ったり、人数が多かったりするとこういう事があるのかもしれません。ちなみに送迎の運転は、道が悪いのとスピード結構出すため、揺れます。スカイダイビングのこともあるので酔い止め飲んでおいたほうがいいです。送迎の車にはドライバーにチップ渡してね、みたいな張り紙がしてあります。私は妻と2人で乗っていき、行き帰り合計で20ドル渡しました。ドライバーの方は、だいぶ喜ばれていました。

プランの写真と、ビデオは終了してから2、3時間後に登録したメアドに届きました。Gメールだとプロモーションの方に入ってました。

ややアクシデントはあったものの、とても貴重な体験ができました。もしこれから行かれる方は、とてもあたりまえのことなんですが、落下中もちゃんと呼吸することを意識してみてください。パラシュートの滑空中も素晴らしい景色を楽しめるとおもいます。

The weather was great, and the scenery was beautiful—it was the best. Jumping into the sky was less scary than I expected, and I felt safe with Austin flying tandem with me. I want to do it again.
The videos and photos are expensive, but there are plenty of pictures, and the video editing is fantastic. I didn't request them when I booked the tour, but I asked for them on-site. If it's your first time flying, I definitely recommend getting them.

いい天気で景色も良くて最高でした。空に飛び出すのは思ったよりも怖くなく、タンデムで飛んでくれたAustinがいて安心でした。また飛びたいです。

Our family had a great time on our ATVs. Come in the morning as it is HOT in the sun. And be prepared to get dirty so bring a change of clothes for afterwards. Instructors were super attentive and took lots of pictures which you can opt to purchase. You’re a drive from Shark’s Cove and local food trucks on the North Shore so we made a day of it. Our teenage boys loved this experience!

It was one of the things I wanted to do before I die, so I'm really happy to have achieved it. I have no resistance to jumping, so I didn't feel any fear at all. It was just beautiful! Amazing! It felt like shouting "Banzai!" I struggled with equalizing my ears, and they were making funny noises, haha. When I get the photos, I might cry from laughing because I look so bad.

I think everyone should experience this at least once!

This zip line course is the real deal! Not only they have 8 individual zip lines, but each has it's character and unique feature. We really loved to do different tricks, and also enjoyed some very long zip lines that we haven't experienced anywhere else.

Guides were fun and very helpful, and had 'super human' abilities whenever someone was stuck on a line.

We will definitely come again next time we are visiting the island!

I was really looking forward to doing skydiving in Hawaii, something that is quite difficult to do in Japan, since I made the reservation. The person behind me during the tandem jump seemed very trustworthy, which made me feel safe while jumping. It was the best experience. Since it was my first time, I didn't have the opportunity to take in my surroundings at first, so if I go to Hawaii again, I plan to skydive here once more and take my time to enjoy the view.

I was anxious because I couldn't speak English, but checking in was easy with the iPad! If anything came up, I had Google Translate, so it was fine!

This time, there was a staff member who could speak Japanese. The instructor also spoke a little Japanese, which was helpful!

My wife and I participated together!
First of all, neither of us speaks a word of English, but it was not a problem at all! I've read in other people's experiences that there were Japanese speakers, but there weren't any during my time. However, it was no issue.

We used Google Translate, and when receiving explanations, they communicated with gestures, so it was easy. The instructor was kind and very reliable.

The check-in process was simple.

After check-in, we stored our belongings in a coin locker. There was no worry about theft. They provide you with a coin.

I think it's a good idea to purchase the video. There are two versions: one filmed from a third-party perspective by a cameraman, and the other attached to the instructor's arm. The instructor's footage was absolutely fantastic, so I think it's better to use the 100,000 yen for something else instead of flying with the cameraman. On the day, they also asked if I wanted a cameraman, but I said no thank you.

As for my experience, I felt no fear at all. The height was so extraordinary that the awe of the magnificent scenery outweighed any fear.

Also, I think motion sickness medication is essential. When the parachute opens and you descend, it sways a lot, so even with the medication, I felt a bit nauseous.

The horseback riding experience along the beach was very pleasant, and the horses were calm, so I felt safe riding them.

We participated as a couple, and there were five other participants along with two guides. One led the way while the other checked on everyone’s situation and provided support, which was reassuring.

They also take photos at the beach, making for great memories. This is a tour I would like to join again the next time I visit Hawaii.

After horseback riding, you can enjoy a leisurely lunch in Haleiwa and explore the shops, so I highly recommend it.

This was well worth it!! The staff is excellent from the time you check in to the 3 guides that are with you zip lining to check out if you decide to get the pictures! We were with a great group of people and that made it more fun as you can get to know everyone in your group as it takes about 3 hrs to complete and there is time between each zip line. This was the best thing we did of all the activities myself and 2 kids (ages 15 and 18) did for the 6 days we were here! Highly recommend doing this if you want to zip line. Another thing that is regally nice is if you are staying in Waikīkī you get to drive to the other side of the island and if you have a rental car you get to see other parts of the island that are not full of tourist.

Every time I visit Northshore, it's always lively, but this time it was particularly vibrant. There were more Americans than Japanese, which was overwhelming. There are plenty of restrooms in the Haleiwa area, which is reassuring. I wished we could have driven to Turtle Bay... it's a bit of a regret. I found a limited edition Patagonia shirt with a Haleiwa logo and ended up buying a lot. The driver was kind, skilled at driving, and a great person. I would like to request them again. Highly recommended!

In the morning, they came to pick us up at the Hyatt Regency where we were staying in Waikiki. With transportation included to Haleiwa, we enjoyed a scenic flight in a Cessna, skydiving at our destination, and then paragliding after experiencing free fall—each was a wonderful experience! Considering all this, the cost performance was excellent, and I truly felt the roundness of the Earth. I personally handed a tip to the person who flew with us as a token of gratitude. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the life-risking job. I decided to travel to Hawaii because I wanted to skydive, and I will definitely come back again while I still have no age restrictions.

Skydiving was my husband's dream. As someone who is not fond of heights, I initially had no intention of participating. However, I thought that if I didn't jump with my husband, I probably would never jump alone in my life, so after much hesitation, I signed up. If you have even a slight interest, I highly recommend giving it a try.

I chose a package that included video and photos, but the content varies depending on the cameraman. My husband's cameraman and instructor were fantastic, and the photos and videos turned out really well.

It's better to have some English skills, but you can manage with gestures (my husband can speak a little, but my level is below that of a modern elementary school student). They don't provide insurance, so I made sure to get skydiving insurance before leaving Japan, just in case.

I recently went Oahu North Shore Beach Horseback Riding Experience - Daytime Tours / Standard Daytime Horseback Rides and unfortunately, it was not well organized. The whole experience seemed uncoordinated, and the pictures taken were unusable due to the way we were positioned.

I gave them 3 stars mainly because the two ladies we interacted with were nice enough, and the horses were well-behaved. However, the walk itself was not very scenic, and overall, it was a disappointing experience. I wouldn't do it again.
