My grandmother and my 4-year-old son participated. I thought he would be scared, but he wasn't scared at all. I was also impressed that they were regular horses, not ponies.

During our riding time, we were able to play at the ranch, so we were never bored.

I went with my 11-year-old and 8-year-old sons. It took about 2 hours to arrive by bus. The horseback riding was amazing for our first time. It was all in English, but I was able to understand. The staff were very polite and kind. I think I will go again when I visit Hawaii.

Everything depends on the local coordinator and driver. It was far too casual. They arrived on time in the morning, but handed me a pen that didn’t work and a consent form to read. I was told to check items and fill in blanks. The car was shaking, it was dark, and I couldn’t understand the content well. There was no explanation about the consent form, the optional video, or the photo content and prices at all. In the end, I was handed a document about their background and a business card, and was told to read it if I wanted. Was that really necessary? The business card had a phone number and mentioned that arrangements could be made for $175. I was so upset that I immediately threw it away. I wish I could have taken a photo if it was possible.

I thought there would be a proper explanation of the content on-site, but it seemed like I had to fill everything out in the car, and everyone was confused inside the vehicle. They also kept talking endlessly using the car's microphone. I don’t remember much of the content, but they were talking about health. There was no explanation about skydiving.

By the way, it was written that there would be a lecture in Japanese on-site, but there wasn’t any. We just watched a video in the car on the way there. After that, the foreign instructor who would jump with us taught us in broken Japanese for about a minute. The quality of the explanation varied depending on the instructor.

When we arrived on-site, there was an explanation about the optional video and photos, but the amount explained by the coordinator was different from the amount charged, leading to a dispute with the local company. I tried to explain in broken English, but it didn’t get through, and both sides gave up. The coordinator didn’t stay on-site because they had another job.

The skydiving itself was fun. However, due to bad weather, we had to change to the 2100m plan. I think it would be enjoyable for those who don’t get car sick or motion sick. There’s no fear; it’s just for a moment.

However, there were so many issues that I don’t have good memories of it. There was so much more that I couldn’t write here. It’s a unique experience, and I don’t want it to be ruined here. It’s strange that there are no complaints here. I think improvements are necessary.

ちなみに現地にて日本語にて講習があると書いていましたがありません。
行きの車の中でビデオ見て終わりです。
あとは一緒に飛ぶ外人のインストラクターの人が片言の日本語で教えてくれるのみです。約１分のみ。インストラクターによっても説明の善し悪しはあります。

現地についたときにオプションのビデオ・写真の説明がありましたが
コーディネーターの説明した金額と請求金額は違っており現地の会社と揉めました。
片言の英語で説明しましたが伝わらずどちらも諦めました。
コーディネーターは次の仕事があるからと現地には常駐しません。

スカイダイビング自体は楽しかったのです。
ただ天気が悪く2100mのプランに変更なりました。
車酔いや乗り物酔いなどしない人は楽しいと思います。
怖さなどはありませんよ。一瞬だけです。

ただいろいろ有り過ぎていい思い出はありません。
ここに書ききれないほどまだまだありました。
なかなかできない体験と、ここで壊してほしくありません。
ここにクレームがないとこが不思議です。
改善が必要だとおもいます。

I enjoyed a refreshing horseback ride along the North beach. I was able to take in the changing scenery, including the sandy beaches and the forest. There was also a super VIP group there, but I didn't encounter them during the ride. I definitely want to go again.

I had a great time!

The driver was a nice person, and it felt wonderful to ride horses along the beautiful beach and connect with nature!

The only downside was that someone who wasn't picked up confronted the driver, insisting it wasn't their fault, and complained to the company, which created a negative atmosphere. It was unfortunate to encounter a complainer while in Hawaii, especially since there were others from the same hotel being picked up.

However, the driver continued to lighten the mood and was truly a good person! If I have the chance to go to Hawaii again, I would definitely like to participate again!

It was truly the best experience.

As mentioned here, if you have Japanese and high school-level English conversation skills, you can do it without any problems.
I signed up for 2100m, but when I arrived, there were no other participants for that height, so I was almost forced to upgrade.
I intended to sign up for photos on-site, so I went ahead with the application.

Skydiving is not difficult at all; you can leave everything to the instructor!
Also, the tipping system here is easy to understand (there's a post for tips), so the timing for tipping, which is said to be difficult for Japanese people, was not an issue.

On the way back, I asked the driver to stop for a North Shore tour, so I got off along the way.
I was able to return to Honolulu by bus!

There is a pick-up and drop-off service, but since it's located in a somewhat inconvenient area, those on a short stay who feel like time is precious might consider renting a car to stop by places like Waikele Outlet on the way back to Waikiki. We were first-time visitors to Hawaii and didn't have a good sense of the area, but we were able to drive there without any problems.

I participated at my husband's strong request. According to our guide and driver, it seemed to be a less busy day, and we returned to the hotel around lunchtime.

The instructors were all handsome, which really boosted my excitement from the preparation stage! I was quite nervous, but since it wasn't my timing to hesitate, I quickly jumped out of the plane. I was thrilled by the beautiful island scenery and was shouting at first, but as the parachute opened and we started descending slowly, I began to feel a bit nauseous. They offered to spin us around as a service, but I declined in broken English...

In the latter half, I was just hoping to land on solid ground quickly, without the luxury of enjoying the view, and I headed straight to the restroom after landing.

I regretted not taking motion sickness medication, thinking it would be fine since we were just falling. I think it's better for those who are prone to motion sickness to take it.

However, it was such an exhilarating experience that I want to try it again.

Photos and videos were quite expensive, so no one from our group signed up for them. I hesitated because it would have been a nice memento, but looking back, I'm glad my nauseous face wasn't captured!

インストラクターの方たちはイケメンばかりで準備段階からテンションあがります！

あっという間に飛行機から飛び出していました。
素晴らしい島の景色で興奮して最初は叫んでいたけど、
パラシュートが開いてゆっくり降下しだしたぐらいからだんだんと気持ち悪くなってきて
サービスでぐるぐる回ってくれたりするのですが、片言英語で辞退・・・。

後半はとにかく早く陸に降ろしてほしい((+_+))という状態で景色を楽しむ余裕もなく
着陸後トイレへ直行しました。

落ちてくるだけだし大丈夫だろうと酔い止めを飲まなかったことを
かなり後悔したので、
乗り物酔いし易い方は飲んだ方が良いと思います。

でもまた挑戦したいと思えるほど興奮する体験でした。

写真やビデオは結構お高いので、一緒に行ったグループの方たちは誰も申し込んでいませんでした。
記念になるので迷いましたが、今思えば酔ったひどい顔が写らなくてよかったです(^_^;)

There are many optional tours to Dole, but this tour had a sufficient time of 75 minutes at Dole, which made me hopeful since I have a 3-year-old child and thought we could take our time on the train. However, we were put on the same tour as the horseback riding group, which shortened our time at Dole to 50 minutes. By the time we got on the train, we only had 10 minutes left. After buying ice cream, we barely made it back to the car, leaving no time for a stroll or to look at souvenirs. To make matters worse, we had to wait for the horseback riders to return, resulting in only 3 hours at Haleiwa. The guide kindly took us for a 20-minute drive, but isn't this terrible considering we paid for it? I feel like I would have preferred another optional tour instead. Also, even though we were charged for one child's fare, the bus seat was on my lap. I felt like I lost out.

On the positive side, the guide, Mr. S, was excellent. He was knowledgeable about plants and incorporated current events while explaining the scenery and buildings visible from the bus. He quickly found and spoke to participants and waited in an easy-to-find spot, showcasing his wonderful personality. When I inquired about a forgotten item on the bus, he promptly delivered it to me. Given how fantastic the guide was, it was very disappointing regarding the time management.

　ドールに行くオプショナルツアーはたくさんあるけれど、こちらのツアーはドールの時間が７５分と十分な時間が設定されており、３才の子供がいたので列車にも乗れてゆっくりできるかな・・・と期待して申し込みました。しかし乗馬プランの人と同じツアーにされたため、ドールの時間は５０分に短縮。列車に乗ると、残り１０分。アイスを買ったら車に戻るのがやっとで、散策したりお土産を見たりする時間はありませんでした。おまけに乗馬の人が帰ってくるのを待つため、ハレイワの滞在時間が３時間。ガイドさんが気を遣って、２０分ほどドライブに連れて行ってくれましたが、料金を払ったのに、これってひどくないですか？　これだったら他のオプショナルツアーにしたのにな・・・という気分です。また、子供も１人分の料金を取ってるのに、バスの席は膝の上。損した気分でした。
　良かったと言えば、ガイドのＳさんです。植物に詳しく、時事ネタも取り入れながら、バスから見える景色や建物についてよく説明して下さいました。また、ツアーに参加した人を素早く見つけて声をかけたり、わかりやすい位置で待っていてくれたり、人柄も素晴らしくとても良かったです。バスに忘れ物をして問い合わせすると、すぐに届けてくれました。ガイドさんが素晴らしかっただけに、時間配分の件は非常に残念でした。

I booked a hotel transfer in Waikiki. When I arrived on-site, there were instructions for horseback riding posted in Japanese. Everything else was in English, but the guide at the front provided basic directions like "right" and "left" in broken English. They use horses that have retired from polo, and they were very well-trained and beautiful. The course included muddy areas, steep slopes, and scenery that could only be accessed on horseback, which was quite magical. In the latter part of the ride, I was able to have my picture taken on the horse against a beautiful backdrop of the ocean with my own camera. (There was no pressure to buy photos!!)

ワイキキホテル送迎込を探して申し込みました。現地に到着すると、日本語での乗馬の注意が貼ってありました。その部分以外はすべて英語ですが、基本的な右へ、左へ、は先頭の誘導してくださる方が片言で教えてくれます。POLO競技から引退した馬を使用されているとのことで、とてもしつけの行き届いたキレイな馬でした。ぬかるみや、急勾配、馬でしか立ち入れないようなコースで周りの景色も幻想的でした。後半には海の見える美しい景観の場所で馬に乗った姿を自分のカメラで撮ってもらえました。(写真売りつけたりとかは無いです！！)

My first skydiving experience. Without much explanation, we had to sign a lot of forms on the bus ride there (^^;)

On the Cessna, a cheerful instructor scared us a bit in English as we climbed to 4,000 meters, and then everyone jumped one after another.

The moment you jump is truly terrifying, but once you're in the air, there's nothing you can do, so you just go with it. The weather was great, and the view of the ocean from above was indescribable.

After it was over, I felt like I wanted to jump again right away; it was such an amazing experience. If I go to Hawaii again, I definitely want to jump again (^_^)

It was my first time in Hawaii, so I signed up for the Haleiwa sightseeing and Dole Plantation tour. The guide was very friendly, making the tour enjoyable. For lunch, the guide took us to eat the recommended shrimp, which was incredibly delicious and had no unpleasant smell at all! It was truly tasty. At the Dole Plantation, the scenery while riding the pineapple train was fantastic. The ice cream was also delicious. The weather was great, making it a perfect day. Thank you very much.

This was my second time skydiving, and perhaps because I felt more at ease than the first time, I enjoyed it even more. I truly believe that skydiving is the best, and the sensation of falling from the sky is exhilarating. I want to go skydiving again when I visit Hawaii.

I had a pleasant horseback riding experience surrounded by a variety of beautiful scenery, including along the coast, in the bushes, and around the pond. My parents, who are in their 60s, were initially a bit nervous but ended up having a great time. It's a given that the horse will poop or stop to graze along the way. Our guide, Katie, was very kind, and the horses were gentle and well cared for. I highly recommend it!

Just thinking that my 82-year-old mother joined this optional tour simply because she loves horses still gives me butterflies. It was truly a canyon horseback riding plan, just as described. We skillfully navigated narrow paths that barely fit the width of the horses. It's an experience I still can't believe. I wonder how we managed to return safely after walking through such a canyon with a beginner like me. We lined up for a full hour, walking slowly, but there were slopes, narrow paths, and curves, and it seemed my mother was scared until the end. She was desperately talking to the horse to keep it moving. Although they never acted up, being natural creatures, they sometimes stopped to eat grass by the side or just halted, which left us unsure of what to do. However, the horses were truly smart and safely carried us on their backs for an hour. I don't think I'll ever have an experience like this again. I highly recommend it to young people.

馬が好きだと言うことだけで82歳の母をこのオプショナルツアーに参加させたと思うと今でもドキドキします。まさに言葉通りの渓谷乗馬プラン。馬の幅も無いような狭い道を上手進みます。今でも信じられない経験です。こんな初心者を乗せてあんな渓谷を歩いてよく無事に帰ってこれたなと思います。1時間たっぷり1列に並んで、ゆっくりゆっくり歩きますが、坂道があったり細い道があったり、カーブがあったり、最後まで母は怖かったみたいです。一生けん命馬に声をかけて乗せてもらっていました。暴れたりすることは決してないのですが、やはり自然の生き物なので、わきの草を食べたり、止まってしまったりするとどうしていいかわからなくなりました。でも本当にお利口な馬たちで、無事に1時間私たちを背中に乗せて歩いてくれました。こんな経験はもうできないと思います。若い人にお勧めです。

I was really scared right up until the moment I jumped, but the view from 4,000 meters is exceptional! The instructor and photographer were cheerful and made the few minutes of the dive feel like a week in Hawaii! I absolutely recommend it!

At first, I was anxious, but after reading the experiences of others, my husband and I thought that if they would take videos and photos, it would be worth it. Although I thought the price was high, I decided to go ahead with the purchase. It seemed that the order of the flights was determined by the combination of those who would take photos and those who wouldn’t, and we quickly got our turn. The explanations and practice were brief, which made me wonder if everything would really be okay for the actual jump. My husband’s instructor seemed to skip the practice altogether.

However, once we got on the Cessna, I was captivated by the beauty of the scenery, and my nerves began to ease. Since there were some clouds, we couldn’t ascend to the planned 4,000 meters and instead went up to 3,700 meters, but I felt it was fair that we received a cash back for that.

My instructor kept encouraging me from behind, saying things like "Beautiful, beautiful!" and "Awesome, awesome!" and called my name multiple times, which helped me relax. When it was time to take off, I was taught that the "banana position" was important, and by following that advice, I didn’t feel scared looking down and was able to let myself fall.

I was so focused on following the instructions to raise my hands and maintain the banana position that I didn’t really know what was happening. Then, the photographer waved at me, and I found myself relaxed enough to give a peace sign. Once the parachute opened, I enjoyed the beautiful scenery below, exclaiming "Beautiful! Awesome!" along the way.

I truly felt like a bird! I savored the scenery gracefully and was amazed at how long I could float in the air.

When we arrived, the photographer was already waiting below, capturing the moment perfectly. I was able to watch the video later of the moment I jumped and the blank moment during free fall, and I could see the scenery I missed at the time. It reminded me of the incredible experience I had! I can share it with my parents and friends, and I really believe it’s worth buying the video! It’s expensive, though.

However, after finishing, we had to wait for two hours for everyone who came on the same bus to finish their jumps. This downtime felt like a waste. Initially, I had signed up for another tour that didn’t have a waiting time, but it didn’t get enough participants to confirm the reservation, so I had to rebook for this tour, which made me feel like time was precious.

Also, the tip was stated to be around 10-15%, but it seemed predetermined to give $20 to the instructor, $20 to the photographer, and $25 to the bus driver. I paid that, but when I added up the video costs, I thought I could have jumped again with that amount, resulting in a significant expense. 私のインストラクターの方は、後ろから声を何度もかけてくれ、キレイ、キレイ～、サイコー、サイコー、とか、名前も何度も呼びかけてくれ、リラックスできました。
いざ、飛び立つ時も、海老反りが大切と教えられたので、教え通り海老反りになってたら、下を見る怖さがなく、身を委ねる形で落ちて行きました。
もう、何が何だか、わからないままに、教えられた通り、手を前にあげ海老反りの体制を作る事に必死でした。そしたら、目の前をカメラマンが手を振ってくれ、すぐにピースサインが出来る程の余裕が出てきて、パラシュートが開いてからは、下の景色の美しさを、キレイー、サイコーと一緒にいいながら、楽しみました。
本当に鳥になった気分です！優雅な気持ちでゆっくりと景色を堪能し、こんなに長い時間浮かんでられるのか～と感心するほど、空を飛んでいるという実感を味わえました。

到着場面も先に降りて待ってくれているので、ばっちり撮れてましたし、とにかく、飛び降りる瞬間とフリーフォールの時の頭真っ白の瞬間を、ビデオで後で見る事ができ、その時みれなかった景色もビデオで見れますし、改めて、すごい事をしたんだーと思い出させてくれます！
親や友達にも見てもらえるし、最高の思い出が残るので、ビデオは買う価値ありだと、本当に思います！！高いけど。

でも終わってから、同じバスで来た人皆が飛び終わるのを待つこと２時間。
このロスタイムが勿体ないのですが。
初めはもう一つの待ち時間無しの方のツアーを申し込みしていたのですが、人数が集まらなくて、予約が確定ならず、仕方なくこちらのツアーで申し込みをし直しましたが、やはり、時間が惜しいなと感じました。
それと、チップもこちらの説明で10～15％ほどと書いてありますが、インストラクター２０ドル、カメラマン２０ドル、バスの運転手２５ドルと決まっているかのように書かれてあり、払いましたが、結果ビデオ代やらと合わせたら、もう一回飛べるじゃんと思い、結果的にすごい出費になりましたが、手元にあるビデオのお陰で、あの感動がいつでも蘇らせれるので、結果満足しています。
良い経験ができました。ありがとうございました。

It turned out that there was a mix-up that caused the delay, but then at the skydiving location, we were further delayed and treated as if we were last in line, which made my friend and me chuckle. When I booked scuba diving with the same company, everything went smoothly, so perhaps I was just unlucky with the skydiving experience, but it was a bit disappointing.

ネットでの予約に関してはすごくスムーズに行っていただけたので、とても満足しています。が、当日待ち合わせ時間にホテルの前で待っていたら1時間待たされました。海外で電話も使えない状態だったので本当に来るのか待っている間はずっと不安でした。手違いで迎えが遅れたのことでしたが、その後スカイダイビングを行う場所でも遅れたためにたらい回し状態にされ更に遅れて来たからとの理由で現場の人にも全て後回しにされ友人と苦笑い。笑 同じ会社でスキューバダイビングを予約した時は全てがスムーズだったので、たまたまスカイダイビングの時は運が悪かったのかもしれませんが少し残念でした。

Before heading to the North Shore, we stopped by places like the Dole Plantation, enjoyed garlic shrimp, and saw turtles. The final activity was horseback riding, which was packed with fun. ノースショアに行くまでにドールプランテーションなど立ち寄ってガーリックシュリンプも食べれてカメも見れて最後は乗馬と盛りだくさんのプランでした。
特に最後の乗馬は今回の旅行で一番楽しかったです。海辺をゆっくりと乗馬しながらの時間はとても心地いい時間で、初心者でも安心して参加できると思いました。

Skydiving was an experience I had always wanted to try. The incredible views were something I had never experienced before. There was no time to be scared as I jumped out quickly. Once in the air, it was so much fun!! I felt amazing.

My husband, who was reluctant at first, became a different person after landing. He was so excited, saying he wanted to jump again even though he had just done it!

I think it's worth buying the photos and videos as they make great keepsakes. You can enjoy that wonderful experience even after returning home, so I highly recommend it.

For those who want to make the most of their time, participating with a rental car is a good idea. The weather can affect things, so it took quite a while.

The guide was also entertaining, and there's no doubt he will become legendary in many ways. Mr. Mickey's history is impressive!

While it's not mandatory, we were informed that the standard is to give the instructor $20, the photographer $20, and the driver $5 to $10 before flying. When my wife and I requested only the photographer, the tips alone amounted to about $70. Perhaps it's because we're not accustomed to the tipping culture, but for us as a couple, it's a significant expense.
