It was the best experience! Just before taking off, there was no time to be scared, we just went for it. The view was breathtaking!!
In the first half, my mouth got extremely dry from the wind, and it was tough to keep it closed. (laughs)
I don't speak much Japanese, but I managed somehow. I hired a professional photographer for the photos. Each person gets one. It was definitely worth it. I bought both the video and photos, so it was a bit pricey, but it became a lifelong memory!

If you tend to get motion sickness, taking motion sickness medication will ensure you enjoy it 100%! I sometimes get motion sickness, so I took the medication before jumping. This was a very nice birthday surprise from my wife. I've never gone horseback riding and my wife booked us a family tour and it was GREAT! I was scared at first because I've never rode a horse before, but our Ranglers Tate and Jayden were superb on showing us how to do everything! Tate and Jayden were outstanding. I would definitely ride again with them. They ensured our safety at all times which was a huge plus for me. The ride was amazing, relaxing, beautiful and calming. I could not have asked for a better birthday gift. Not only was the ride great but we all learned some things about horses. Our horses were great also! Before participating, I had some anxiety, but in the end, I enjoyed it. Until the parachute opened, the speed was so fast that I was barely able to breathe. After the parachute opened, normally you descend while making sharp turns (otherwise, you won't come down), but I told the instructor that I get motion sickness and dislike spinning around, so they took their time and descended slowly. I was glad to be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Hawaii. I returned to the hotel in Waikiki after 10 o'clock. I purchased the video, and my desperate expression seemed to be quite funny, causing my whole family to burst into laughter. It became a great memory.

OMG! I booked this tour for my husband's birthday today. It was simply amazing. Initially he was a little apprehensive, but once we started riding he really enjoyed the ride. Our guide was simply the BEST (Tate) He was very informative and knew so much about the ranch and the horses. He made the ride so much fun! We also enjoyed (Jayden) who was our other guide. We can't wait to go back because we will definitely be coming back here to do another tour. The scene was beautiful although it rained some of our ride we still enjoyed it and had a blast!! They make sure you are comfortable and are enjoying every minute of it. It was our kids first time riding as well. They had so much fun until they would like to get horses themselves now. You CAN'T go to North Shore and not do this activity!
Beautiful Ride! We just missed the hurricane that was forecasted to hit the island. There was no rain and the weather was fantastic. We did the beginner ride which took about an hour. We were able to see other animals on the farm. The farm is massive; over 600 acres I believe. Next time I would like to do the intermediate or advanced ride. The staff was very professional and polite. The tour guide was kind enough to give us a background of the history of the farm. I would definitely return and recommend to anybody that this horseback ride was beautiful and romantic. Try the sunset ride if you go with your significant other :)
This was my first time to skydive and it was incredible! Misha and Patrick were super knowledgeable and made me feel safe and excited! For your first time doing this activity,I would definitely recommend them. It's a five star on my book!!!
The pickup for the Island Makana Tours' canyon horseback riding plan was at the Hyatt Regency's Core Street entrance, which was as crowded as Hachiko Square. Around 9:40, we arrived at Dole Plantation. Since we only had 30 minutes, I gave up on riding the Pineapple Express train that runs through the park, but just strolling through the pineapple fields felt great. Around 10:40, we reached Turtle Beach. Unfortunately, we didn't see any sea turtles. We dropped off the free time plan participants in Haleiwa, and around 11:15, we arrived at Waimea Canyon. It rained heavily on and off, but we started horseback riding. At one point, I slipped to the right along with the saddle, but I managed to keep holding the reins and stood up on the ground. After the horseback riding, everyone was soaking wet, and I was surprised that we couldn't borrow even one towel. Around 13:15, we arrived in Haleiwa Town. I had garlic shrimp at the Camaron Shrimp Wagon ($13.60). The line at Matsumoto Shave Ice was too long for me to consider waiting, but there was another shop nearby with a shave ice sign that had only staff inside.

I highly recommended the round the island day tour. Justin was our tour guide, and his encyclopedic knowledge and commentary made the day very memorable.
While the experience was great I would have rather not gone in rough seas. The sea was really rough and was very disappointed that the captain did not scratch the trip. My nephew got sea sick and wasn't able to go in the water and ruined his experience. The rest of our group went in the cage and was bounced around so much that taking pictures were next to impossible. When we got back the captain told us his GoPro did not work. So no pictures.I would have like the captain or company to be more considerate of the conditions.

Boat trip and sea was quite rough on the day we went. Guides were humorous and helpful. Good visibility of sharks and plenty of them. Cage had 8 people inside which i personally felt was too many given the waters were so rough. All in all was a good experience.
Fun day off activities. Good driver and guide, well organised, good options of activities. Saw a variety of different beaches including sea turtles.
Loved everything about the cultural center. The food was amazing at the luau and the show was breath taking. Our Veltra reservations were easy to make and worked perfectly
My father, sister, and I participated!! We were picked up from the hotel at 5 AM, and with the weather on our side, we took a bus to the location. I signed up for GoPro filming, and Tony, our guide, started capturing fun moments even before we set off. Once we boarded, my heart was racing. I'm someone who can't even ride roller coasters, but I wanted to experience this at least once before I die... haha. To my surprise, my father was the first to jump, and I was the last. I screamed so much, but I quickly forgot my fear when I saw the breathtaking views of the ocean and mountains in Hawaii! Thanks to Tony, we were able to capture the best moments on the GoPro, and I also made fun memories with the hilarious guy who picked us up. It was an incredibly satisfying skydiving experience!! If you're going to do it, do it in the skies of Hawaii! I highly recommend it!
