During the holiday season, Christmas songs played inside the illumination bus, and the entire group of passengers got excited. The venue was sparkling, and it became a very good memory.

ホリデーシーズン限定で、イルミネーションバスの中もクリスマスソングが流れ、乗客全体で盛り上がりました。会場もキラキラで、とても良い思い出になりました。

Someone arrived late, and I had to wait for nearly 30 minutes. The sunlight was too strong during that time, making it hard to concentrate. I wish it had started at 8 o'clock.

The trolley is decorated for Christmas and Christmas songs are playing, so you can enjoy a different atmosphere than usual. City Lights has displays throughout its spacious grounds, including outside, but I found myself with too much free time. I thought it might have been better to go see it on our own rather than participating in the tour.

シティライツは、外も含めれば広い敷地内にディスプレイがあるものの、時間を持て余してしまいました。ツアーで参加せずとも、自分たちで見に行くのでもよかったかなと思いました。

The view of New Year's Eve from the ocean in Waikiki was truly beautiful and memorable. The captain was also a very nice person, and I was able to enjoy myself while relaxing, whether lying down or sitting.

The trolley decorations and music were all Christmas-themed, and I was excited even before arriving at the venue! The venue's illumination was also impressive, and it was so much fun. I was able to experience a different side of Hawaii!

The car was spacious and comfortable. Even at 180 cm tall, I was able to sit comfortably.

I requested the following places in advance: a beach where we could see sea turtles, "This Tree, What Tree?", Nico’s Pier 38, Whole Foods, the King Kamehameha statue, and Tantalus. I also asked for more frequent bathroom breaks.

On the day of the tour, Ken arrived before the meeting time. Ken is of Japanese-American descent and speaks calm, polite Japanese. Although we were all meeting for the first time and would spend 8 hours together, his personality made it easy to feel at ease.

In addition to the pre-requested stops, we were able to visit towns and recommended spots along the way during bathroom breaks. (After the beach where we might see sea turtles, we had some free time to explore the town of Haleiwa. Fortunately, we were able to see swimming sea turtles!)

Inside the car, we heard useful information from a local perspective about Hawaii, including recommendations for restaurants.

At the destinations, Ken provided information related to the places we visited (like good restaurants and bathroom locations) and allowed us free time to explore. I appreciated the consideration that allowed us to enjoy our time without feeling rushed.

My parents in their 70s were very satisfied, and it became a wonderful memory for my husband and me as well. We would love to do this again if the opportunity arises. A hui hou!

Kenさんは集合時間前に到着していました。kenさんは日米ミックスで、落ち着いた、丁寧な日本語をお話になられます。ツアーではお互い初対面で8時間ご一緒しますが、安心して過ごせるお人柄です。

ツアーでは事前リクエストの他、トイレ休憩を兼ねて、道中の街やおすすめスポットにも寄っていただけました。
(私たちはウミガメが見えるかもしれないビーチの後、ハレイワの街を自由散策する時間をいただきました。ラッキーなことに泳いでいるウミガメも見ることができました)

車内では、ハワイの話、おすすめのレストランなど在住者目線のお話も聞けて有益でした。

kenさんは目的地の関連情報(美味しいお店、トイレの場所など)を教えてくれた上で、自由に過ごす時間を提供してくれます。自分たちで気兼ねなく過ごすことができる配慮が有り難かったです。

70代の両親の満足度も高く、私たち夫婦にとってもいい思い出になりました。また機会があればお願いします。a hui hou！

Thew crew was so sweet to my kiddos, and the food was really good!

I participated in the vow renewal at the 5-star hotel. I can hardly speak English, but thanks to the staff's kind support, I had a very enjoyable and happy time!

バウリニューアルで5スターに参加しました。英語はほとんど喋れませんが、スタッフの優しい対応でとても楽しく、ハッピーな時間を過ごす事が出来ました♪

I used it as a means of transportation for the night illumination. There are illuminations near the venue, and I passed through there on my way to the venue. If you sit on the left side, you can see it well.

夜のイルミネーションで交通手段として利用しました。会場近辺にイルミネーションがあり、そこを通りながら会場へ。
左側に乗るとよく見えます。

The teacher was very friendly, and the lesson was fun. There were some challenging poses that I hadn't done in a while, and I was sore the next day. There were also regular participants, including dogs and babies, creating a cheerful atmosphere. The location was easy to find and close to the hotel.

とても、気さくな先生で、レッスンも楽しかったです。久しぶりにハードなポーズもあり、翌日は筋肉痛でした。
いつもレッスンされてる、一般の方もワンちゃんやベイビーもいて
和気あいあいの雰囲気。ホテルからも近い場所でわかりやすかった。

The pickup at the hotel and boarding went smoothly. Our table was by the window, but since we moved to the deck to actually look outside, I don't think it was necessary to be too particular about it.

People from various countries, including the mainland United States, gathered, creating a lively atmosphere, and the staff kept the energy up right until the countdown.

I found myself dancing at the YMCA, which was a bit out of character for me.

I was surprised at how delicious the steak and lobster were, even better than I had expected.

The fireworks were quite close, featuring star mines and large shells, reminiscent of the Japanese style.

On the way back, it gets crowded, so it's best to move to your bus early.

It was a fun New Year's Eve, and I think I got my money's worth.

ホテルでのピックアップ、乗船まではスムーズ。テーブルは窓際でしたが、実際に外を見るときはデッキに移動するのであまりこだわる必要はないと思います。
アメリカ本土を含めて様々な国からたくさんの人が集まってきており、賑やかで、カウントダウン直前までスタッフが盛り上げてくれます。
YMCAとか、年甲斐もなく踊ってしまいました。
予想していたより料理のメインにでたステーキとロブスターが美味しくて驚きました。
花火も結構近いところで上がります。スターマインや尺玉もある日本式ですね。
帰りは混雑するので自分の乗るバスまで早めのご移動を。
楽しい年越しになりました。料金分は十分楽しんだと思います。

With illegal fireworks killing and injuring people all over Oahu, it was great to be out on the water aboard the Star of Honolulu for its New Year's Eve cruise. The surf and turf dinner was excellent, as was the live entertainment. Beverage service was quite slow; the large number of diners ordering beverages simultaneously clearly overloaded the staff. Prospective participants need to be prepared for the fact that in order to see the midnight fireworks better, hundreds of attendees move to one side of the boat causing it to tilt quite a bit. But that was the only detectable motion; even people with motion sickness could take this cruise. I had a good time and would do it again. The event was a good value, too.

It was a four-course meal, private, on the top floor, and included champagne, which I was very satisfied with. This is my third time, and being able to celebrate the countdown with many people on the boat and watching the fireworks from the ship is the best.

3回目ですが、カウントダウンを船上で沢山の人と盛り上がることができる事と、花火を船から見れるのが最高です。

The crew was great, the drinks were great and the firework show was great. Nothing else to say.

There were a lot of cockroaches near our seats, making it impossible to enjoy our meal. Please be especially careful near the walls. I hope this can be improved.

席の近くにゴキブリが沢山いて食事どころではなかったです。壁の近くは特に気をつけて下さい。改善して欲しいです。

The full course with lobster and steak, along with champagne and cocktails, was great. The fireworks (including those set off by individuals nearby) were more impressive than I expected, and it became a wonderful memory.

ロブスターにステーキのフルコース、シャンパンにカクテルもついて良かったです。
花火は、(周囲の個人で上げる花火もあり)思ったより迫力があり、良い思い出になりました。

The staff and the boat were amazing. We had the best time! They catered to our every need and were informative and seasoned. I felt safe every step of the way. You should try this, you won’t regret it.

We were supposed to meet at 5 PM, but I was surprised that we had to turn back for three Americans who were late. Is this our responsibility? The three of them didn't apologize and were overly cheerful; could this be a difference in national character? It finally got dark around 6:15 PM, and the illumination was beautiful, but what do you think about the timing set from 5 PM to 7 PM? I think it would have been better if it started from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, so we could enjoy it after it got dark.

17時集合でしたが、遅れたアメリカ人三人のため引き返し、びっくりしました。

三人は謝りもせず、やたらテンション高くて国民性の違いでしょうか？
6時15分くらいにようやく暗くなりイルミネーション綺麗でしたが、17時から19時の設定はどうでしょうか？
せめて17：30から19：30が暗くなってから楽しめたと思います。

I was glad that the staff member was Japanese, which made me feel relaxed. We were able to chat as well. However, I wasn't satisfied because I had to pay an 18% tip on-site, which I didn't expect.

スタッフさんが日本人の方でしたので、リラックスできて良かったです。雑談もできて。ただ、チップが払っていないとのことで、現地で18％払いました。ちょっと納得出来てません。

We had a great time. The MC was awesome, very fun. All the dancer were really good. Very entertaining for the entire family!

The last time I visited, it was a bit late in the evening and there were many people, making it quite crowded both inside and outside the city hall, which made taking photos a bit challenging.

This time, considering I had small children with me, I thought the crowds would be difficult, so I chose to go on a weekday before sunset. The venue was less crowded, and it was much easier to take photos.

After enjoying the inside of the city hall, we went outside as it was getting dark, allowing us to enjoy the outdoor illuminations without the crowds, and we were able to leave early, which was convenient.

Next time I go, I plan to visit on a similar schedule. It seems to have created good memories for the children as well, which was great.

以前に訪れた際は少し夜遅めの時間帯で人も多く、市庁舎の中も外もかなり込み合っていて、写真を撮るのもちょっと大変でした。

今回は小さい子供がいたため人混みは大変だと考え、平日の日没前の時間を選択して参加したところ、会場が空いていて写真も撮りやすかったです。

先に市庁舎の中で楽しんだ後、暗くなるころに外に出れば込み合うことなく屋外のイルミネーションも満喫でき、帰る時間も早めでラクでした。

また行く際は、同じようなスケジュールで訪れようと思います。子供にとってもいい思い出になったようで、良かったです。

City Lights was incredibly enjoyable. This time, since it was the 40th anniversary, there were many beautiful illuminations, making it quite festive. However, the voucher pickup location was listed as "Waikiki Shopping Plaza - Royal Hawaiian Avenue entrance," but in reality, it was across the road from that entrance. I almost got left behind. They were also 15 minutes late, which meant I couldn't enjoy the pre-event. Other than that, I was satisfied.

シティライツは最高に楽しめました。今回は40周年というかとで，イルミネーション飾りも沢山あり、華やかでした。ただ、バウチャーのピックアップ場所は「 ワイキキ ショッピング プラザ - ロイヤルハワイアン通り側出入口」となっていたが、実際は「 ワイキキ ショッピング プラザ - ロイヤルハワイアン通り側出入口の道路向い側」であり、危うく置いていかれるとこでした。時間も15分も遅れてくるし。お陰で事前のイベントも楽しめず。それ以外は満足でした。

Such a fun night. The food options were delicious. The activities and vendors were interesting and informative. The show is very entertaining and fun to watch. The host, Paul, was fantastic and he made it special for my fiancé and l as he heard we got engaged a few days prior. We got to get our own dance along those who were celebrating anniversaries. That was such a sweet surprise and totally unexpected. I highly recommend luau! The transportation was also fantastic and super easy.

Our group was looking forward to our first luau and as we arrived at the destination it started raining. While the hosts were quick to hand out rain ponchos, the rain affected the event.

First, the hosts were rushed to get folks registered and get things moving. As a result, our group was never able to get our picture taken before the event started. Knowing this was an outdoor venue and its rainy season, I would have expected that certain things would have been under cover - like the photo area, the stage and honestly even the seating.

The food was under cover and was good. Not spectacular but good. A couple of our group had raw fish and were all sick that night so having certain foods outside for an extended period was not smart.

The performance from the warriors was good. They tried to show the different dress/dance of various polynesian groups but it would have benefited from more clarity on their differences as they all stared looking the same.

The ONE performance I was looking forward to was the fire dance. It was a disappointment. I expected all the adult performers to have choreographed a phenomenal dance of fire, complete with fire twirling, throwing etc. Instead they handed the "fire dance" off to one young boy for a solo act and two young boys to show off what they learned. YES, they were very good! but the magic of a "warrior tribe" dancing the fire dance was lost. The adults did come back for a grand finale - but it seems confusing at best.

Not what I expected.

Last year, we registered our marriage and, being a bit older, we weren't considering a wedding ceremony. However, after researching sunset cruises, we found an option for a vow renewal. We updated our marriage vows for our second anniversary and received a certificate, commemorative photos, and a bottle of champagne for toasting.

We were seated at a couple's table by the window, allowing us to enjoy the view while dining. The sunset and the night view of Honolulu were absolutely wonderful. There were hula dances and various performances, and everyone on the boat had a great time. I chose the one-star meal since I have a small appetite, but the portion was more than enough.

昨年、入籍をし年齢高めで挙式などは考えていませんでしたが、サンセットクルーズをリサーチしてバウリニューアルというのがあったので、入籍２年目の結婚の誓いの更新を行い証明書と記念写真、乾杯のシャンパン1本いただきました。
席は窓際のカップルシート指定で景色を見ながらお食事が出来ます。
サンセット、ホノルルの夜景、とても素敵です。フラダンスや色々なダンス、船内のみんなで盛り上がりました。
少食なので1スターにしましたが、充分な量です。

My first time in Hawaii! It was a wonderful memory.

Small and intimate luau with a lot of Hawaiian history coursing through the show!

When looking at activities for our honeymoon, we were definitely looking for an on the water experience. There are lots of options in regards to sunset or fireworks(every friday) but most of them seemed to include having to be on a boat with many other families. While we are not opposed to spending time with strangers and getting to meet people, we really wanted to have a "next level" experience where we had pictures to share and memories to make.

Pau Hana sailing delivered on every single level. Captain Austin made sure our experience was one to remember. He helped us take pictures and was an absolute gem to spend two hours with.

Considering the pricing to be on our own private charter was only slightly more than being on one with tons of other families, there was absolutely no downside. I cannot recommend Pau hana sailing enough.

When we come back for an anniversary we will absolutely be booking again. Mahalo!

It was a great experience! The activities were fun and educational! Great family environment! Wonderful performances, amazing performers, good food and drinks! The best activity and experience on our vacation! You have to go!
