I have participated in sandbar tours several times before, but this tour was the most enjoyable so far because, in addition to snorkeling, there were various activities available such as stand-up paddleboarding, balls, and large floaties, which kept things fun and engaging. The staff were also bright and accommodating, making an effort to entertain us. However, one point to note is that all the explanations were in English only, so if the key points could have been communicated in Japanese as well, it would have made those who are not proficient in English feel more at ease.

今までサンドバーツアーには何回か参加したことがありますが、今回のツアーはシュノーケリング以外にも、サップボードやボール、大きな浮き輪等色々な遊び遠具が用意されていて、飽きずに楽しめ、今までで一番楽しかったです。
スタッフの方々も楽しませてくれようと明るく対応してくれました。
ただ一点、説明が全て英語のみでしたので、ポイントだけでも日本語で伝えていただけたら、英語が得意でない人も、より安心できたと思いました。

The cruise ship was large, with many tables arranged inside and a small stage as well. We were guided to our seats by the staff. While we were on our way to the sandbar, we enjoyed lovely music played with a ukulele, guitar, and singing.

The water level at the sandbar changes with the tides, so if you have the time, it might be a good idea to check the tide conditions in advance. We signed up at the last minute, so we didn’t check beforehand, but on the morning of our visit, the water level was about waist-deep. In some areas, it was deep enough to reach shoulder height, but even so, the clear water was beautifully colored and truly stunning.

You can freely enjoy SUP, kayaking, and snorkeling. However, there are a limited number of SUPs and kayaks, so if others are using them and they are not available, you may have to wait. We tried SUP for the first time, and it was a bit difficult to balance, and with the ocean current, it was quite challenging to go in the direction we intended. But it was a lot of fun.

One thing to be careful about is the red buoys, which indicate where you should not go beyond. If you get too close, we were told to sit down and paddle back on the SUP or to get out and walk back if you were in a kayak.

For snorkeling, we swam in an area with coral reefs, and since the water was shallow, we were able to see the fish up close. They were so beautiful that we could have watched them for a long time.

The lounge floating on the sea was also a photogenic spot. At the sandbar, you can spend your time freely until it's time to go, so when we got cold, we returned to the ship to wrap ourselves in towels and enjoyed some orange juice and donuts.

There was one men's restroom and two women's restrooms on board, which was convenient. All the staff members were bright, cheerful, and wonderful people. There was also one Japanese staff member, so I think you don’t have to worry if you're anxious about your English.

On the way back, we left the sandbar while listening to music and returned to the port. It became a very lovely memory. We had so much fun. Thank you, everyone!

クルーズ船は大きくて、中はたくさんテーブルが並んでいて、小さなステージもありました。場所はスタッフの方に案内されて座りました。サンドバーに着くまでの間、ウクレレとギターと歌で素敵な音楽を聞くことができました。
サンドバーは潮の満ち引きによって水位が変わるので、余裕があれば、あらかじめ潮の状態を調べておくといいかもしれません。私たちは直前に申し込んだので調べていきませんでしたが、私たちが行った日の午前中は水位が腰くらいまでありました。場所によっては肩くらいまで深さがありましたが、それでも、透き通った水でとてもきれいな色をしていて、本当に美しかったです。
SUPやカヤック、シュノーケリングは自由にすることができます。SUPとカヤックに関しては個数が限られているので、他の方が使っていてその場にない場合は待たないといけないと思います。私たちは初めてSUPに挑戦しましたが、バランスを取るのが少し難しく、海水の流れもあるので思った方向に進むのがなかなか難しかったです。でもとても楽しかったです。
注意しなければならないのは、赤いブイがあるので、その先には行かないということです。そこの近くまで行ってしまったら、SUPでは座って戻ったり、カヤックの場合は降りて歩いて戻ったりするように言われました。
シュノーケリングでは、珊瑚礁がある場所で泳ぎましたが、こちらも水深が浅いので、近くで魚たちを見ることができました。とてもきれいで、ずっと見ていられるくらいでした。
海に浮かぶラウンジもフォトジェニックな場所でした。
サンドバーでは時間まで自由に過ごすことができるので、体が冷えたら船内に戻ってタオルにくるまったり、オレンジジュースやドーナツをいただいたりしました。
船内に男子トイレは1つ、女子トイレは2つあったので、トイレに行けるのもよかったです。
スタッフのみなさんが明るく陽気で素敵な方ばかりでした。また、日本人のスタッフさんも1人いらっしゃったので、英語に不安があっても心配いらないと思います。
帰りも音楽を聞きながらサンドバーをあとにし、港へ戻りました。
とても素敵な思い出になりました。すごく楽しかったです。みなさん、ありがとうございました。

The entire experience was wonderful, especially the captain and crew. The food and drinks were great as well. My only complaint is that I wish our time at the sandbar was longer! We spent a good while at the snorkeling reef, but I wish our time at the sandbar was equal in length. 10/10 recommend!!

We had such a unique experience going to the SandBar. It was like having our own little beach area. They provided lunch in our package. Live music was played during our boat ride there and back. They provided kayaks, paddle boards, life vests and snorkel gear. They were a fun crew and i can tell they enjoy working together. They were eager to help teach about Hawaiian culture and boat safety. It was one of the trip highlights and i would highly recommend to anyone to do it. Just be mindful of the tide as certain times the tide can be very high to your chest or low to your knees.

A must do while in Oahu! Great friendly staff, loved the bbq hamburgers. Volleyball, snorkeling and turtle watching. My favorite thing to do every time I visit Oahu.

My family and I really enjoyed this experience. It was something that could be enjoyed by everybody, those more adventurous or for those who wanted to “chill.” The sandbar they took us to was a beautiful place and the snorkeling location was awesome. We saw different fish and even had a surreal experience swimming by sea turtles. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Great day out with the crew! My family was visiting from the mainland and decided to bring them out to the sandbar. They were extremely happy with this experience!! Would def recommend this excursion.

The weather was mostly cloudy, but it hardly rained. The contrast between the white sandbar and the surrounding sea was beautiful. At the turtle point, I encountered many sea turtles, and they were adorable. A little further away, there were a few manta rays, and everyone was excited to see manta rays during the day, which is quite rare! Of course, I was too! This was my second time at the sandbar, and although I haven't experienced perfectly clear weather yet, just being able to see the beautiful contrast of the sea is soothing for the soul!

という天気には巡り会えてませんが、きれいな海のコントラスト
を見れるだけで、心が癒やされます！

I thought we were going to an island, but it turned out to be a shallow area in the sea. It was a very mysterious place where you can enjoy various marine sports, and they teach you how to do them and how to ride, so it's reassuring. The donuts were delicious, and it was perfect!

島に行くのかと思っていたら海の中の浅瀬でした。とても不思議な場所でそこではいろんなマリンスポーツができ、やり方も乗り方も教えてもらえるので安心。ドーナツも美味しく、完璧でした！

We had a wonderful experience. The staff on our boat was very welcoming and friendly. My niece said the staff of Capt Allen were very attentive as well when they were in the water. Kudos/ mahalo to Capt Ruben for assisting us to snorkel especially since we (me n my sis in law) don't know how to swim. Our driver was energetic and friendly. He even stopped at Leonards bakery for us and made awesome food recommendations on the way. We had an overall great experience! We look forward to coming again.

The crew was very friendly and helpful. The singers were incredible & played fantastic music. It was a memorable part of our vacation. Highly recommend KBOS!

This is my second time using it, following the last time. The sea is beautiful, and the hamburgers eaten on the boat are very delicious! There were also many sea turtles! I want to participate again!

Beautiful day with a super crew! Sandbar and snorkling are magic!!!

日本の大手ツアー会社と提携している同様のツアーが満員で予約できなかったためこちらで予約しました。
結果的に大満足でした！船は大きくてトイレや更衣室もあり、ドーナツや飲み物のサービスも嬉しかった。天気があまり良くなく、水位も高かったのですが、十分に楽しめました。海に浮かぶラウンジも思ったよりのんびり出来て良かった。バナナボートは想像以上のスピードで何度か落ちそうになりながらも後ろの知らない人が支えてくれたりしてアットホームな雰囲気でした。行き帰りのハワイアンミュージックの生演奏がとにかくいいです。上手だし、ノリノリの外国の方がいてさらに盛り上がりました。こっそり置いてあるあったかい紅茶のサービスも冷えた体には助かりました。

Beautiful scenery, super kind staff, wonderful music. Tried kayak, snorkel and it was so fun. Water was so clear, I could see fish so close it was beautiful. Only thing is the time could be longer. We got to the sandbar about 9:30 and left around 12pm. I wish I could have more time so I could try other activities like volleyball and paddle board. The boat was full with over 100 people but didn’t feel like it was packed. Especially when we got to the sandbar, people were more spread out. Overall, the tour was way better than expected and definitely want to do it again!! Thank you!

We booked this fairly last minute since both my wife and I are not swimmers but we saw great reviews even for beginners and they were right!

We had an amazing time and saw a lot of turtles and fish, Casey was nothing short of amazing!! He was guiding us and helped ease my wife's fear of the water so that she could enjoy snorkeling a bit, really appreciated the help and hospitality!

Friendly staffs, clean equipments, tasty lunch, excellent job guys!

I was picked up by a large bus near my hotel in Waikiki and arrived at Heeia Harbor (which apparently was one of the filming locations for Pirates of the Caribbean) in just under an hour, where I boarded one of the catamarans. From there, Yukiko, a staff member from Japan, provided a thorough and reassuring guide. First, we arrived at a sandbar and practiced snorkeling in the shallow waters with white sand. In the background, we could see Kualoa Ranch, used in the filming of Jurassic Park, and Chinaman's Hat, with Yukiko taking plenty of photos against this backdrop. After playing for a while, it was lunchtime. The BBQ-style hamburgers were delicious, and eating them on the sunlit boat was the best! After the meal, the boat moved to a spot where we could see sea turtles. We encountered quite a few sea turtles and manta rays before heading to the final point. Snorkeling around a coral hill the size of a soccer field was a bit daunting for me, but I saw many fish underwater. I heard there are sea turtle nests here, but I didn't get to see them. After snorkeling, we received warm drinks and returned to port. Looking back, it felt like it went by in a flash, but I was able to experience so many new things! I enjoyed the pleasant breeze and the blue sky with the Hawaiian flag fluttering on the boat. I'm really glad I participated in this tour!

ワイキキのホテル近くで大きなバスにピックアップしてもらって1時間弱でHeei’wa(?)のハーバー(パイレーツオブカリビアンのロケ場所の一つだったらしい)に到着してカタマランの一つに乗船。ここから先は日本スタッフのユキコさんが丁寧に案内してくれて安心。まずサンドバーに到着して白砂の浅瀬でシュノーケリングの練習。後ろにはジュラシックパークの撮影で使われたクアロアランチやチャイナマンズハットが見えて、これをバックにユキコさんがバンバン写真を撮ってくれる。暫く遊んだ後はランチタイム。BBQ仕立てのハンバーガーは香ばしくて日光が降り注ぐボートの上で食べるの最高！食事の後ボートは海亀が見れるポイントへ移動。結構な数の海亀とマンタに出会えて、いよいよ最後のポイントへ。サッカーグラウンドほどの広さがある珊瑚の丘の周りをシュノーケリングするのは初めての自分にはちょっと勇気がいったけど水中には沢山の魚が見れた。ここには海亀の巣穴もあるらしいけど会えなかった。シュノーケリング終えて温かい飲み物をもらって帰港。振り返ってみるとあっという間だったけど、いろんな(しかも初めて！)体験ができて、海風にたなびくボートに掲げられたハワイの旗をなびかせる心地よい風と青い空を楽しめて最高！このツアーに参加して良かった‼︎

It was the activity I was looking forward to the most on my honeymoon in Hawaii. The ocean was so beautiful, and I was able to swim with sea turtles, creating the best memories. I will definitely use this again when I visit Hawaii.

ハネムーンでハワイにきて一番楽しみにしていたアクティビティだったのですが、海がとても綺麗でウミガメとも泳ぐことができて最高の思い出になりました。またハワイを訪れる際には利用さしてもらいます。

My daughter Crystal and I went to the Kaneohe sandbar on July 26. Although it started with a little rain, it didn't damper (pun intended, lol) our adventure. We were greeted by a great team on board the catamaran. Especially Jesse, such a wonderful guy. He and another band member sang and played great music to and from the sandbar. Everyone were such fun and really made us feel special. We celebrated Crystal's birthday. We even were surprised with a private tender boat ride to go see a beautiful sea turtle very close to our boat. So fantastic! Thank you all for a unforgettable day.

Great experience especially for first time or non-swimmers! We did the morning cruise and weather was a little cloudy. Pick up/drop off in Waikiki area hotels or airbnb so that was a plus. Boarded boat from harbor to the sandbar and they had snacks (chips, granola bar) and beverages on board. Saw some fishes and turtles, there was a turtle swimming right next to us!! Overall a great time!!

The excursion was the perfect way to spend my birthday! It was very well organized from the pick-up all the way at to drop off! The music onboard was so enjoyable and had lots of people singing along!!!!!! At the sandbar there was soooooo much to do!! We tried it all and even learned how to paddle board!! Staff were all amazing and willing to lend a hand and making sure we were all safe!!! This was our favourite thing we did on our whole trip and wished it lasted longer!!!

This was one of the easiest excursions we did on Oahu. Transportation to/from Waikiki, funny/friendly/knowledgeable hosts, bbq lunch and drinks were great, and the snorkeling gear and other ocean fun gear was included for the family. Definitely recommend!
