We participated as a family of ten, including my parents and siblings. Both the guide and staff were very kind, and we had a great time. The weather was nice, and the beautiful sea and sky were amazing! The water temperature was a bit cold, but it was manageable once we got used to it. The sandbar was knee-deep, and we could swim comfortably at the snorkeling point, where we also saw fish in the coral area. The hamburgers for lunch were delicious, and everything was great. It was a satisfying tour for the whole family.

両親と兄弟家族で10人で参加しました。ガイドもスタッフもとても親切ですごく楽しめました。
天気もよく、きれいな海！空！最高でした！水温は少し冷たいですが、入っているうちに慣れる程度でした。サンドバーの深さは膝ぐらい、シュノーケリングポイントでも気持ちよく泳げて珊瑚のエリアでは魚もみることが出来ました。ランチのハンバーガーもおいしくて何から何までよかったです。家族みんな満足なツアーでした。

The fact that I booked to just experience the sand bar is my small disclaimer, But the boat ride out to the sandbar including the friendly staff breakfast snacks and juice along with the live band / music and all the SUP, Kayaking Snorkeling and Lounging we could do is what made this an experience of a lifetime for me and my son! They provided all the above for a great rate plus you can add on other activities like the bumper boat ride etc. I highly recommend Veltra tours! You won't be disappointed!! Mahalo

The staff were all incredibly cheerful and kind, making my time there very enjoyable. I wasn't expecting much from the lunch hamburger, but it was surprisingly delicious. There was plenty of free time, and I thoroughly enjoyed snorkeling, and I was able to see turtles as well. I'm glad I signed up for the tour! Although rain was forecasted, we miraculously had sunny then cloudy weather, and it wasn't particularly cold, so I had a great day. I would love to sign up for the sandbar tour again.

とにかくスタッフの方達、全員すごく楽しげな親切な人達ばかりでとても楽しく過ごせました。ランチのハンバーガーもそれほど期待していなかったのですが、すっごく美味しくて驚きました。自由時間も十分にありますし、シュノーケリングも十分に楽しめますし、亀もしっかり見れましたし、ツアー申し込んで良かったです！雨の予報でしたが、奇跡的に晴れのち曇りという天気で特に寒い事もなく1日過ごせました。またサンドバーのツアー申し込みたいぐらいです。

There were many participants who were not Japanese, and there was a group that was just too noisy, making it hard to hear the instructions. Although a staff member who understood Japanese explained things individually, it was too loud to hear. People were vaping and even entering the sea with alcohol, yet no one was reprimanding them. I was really looking forward to it, but I couldn't do either stand-up paddleboarding or canoeing. I'm very disappointed.

日本人以外が多く参加しており、とにかく騒いでるグループがいて、注意事項等々聞こえず、日本語のわかるスタッフさんが個別に説明してくださいましたが、うるさ過ぎて聞こえませんでした。
電子タバコをふかしたり…アルコールを持ったまま海に入っていても誰も注意していなかったです。
凄く楽しみにしていたのにサップもカヌーも出来ませんでした。ガッカリです

We rented a private speedboat. First, my apologies for most likely misspelling your name, Kaikoa or Keoke? Again, my apologies but me, my hubby and his mom had the best experience and truly enjoyed the day just talking with you about Hawaii and seeing all the wonderful wildlife when snorkeling. We also wanted to say thank you for being so kind and hospitable and putting up with our 20 questions about Hawaii life and thank you so much for sharing! Sending good vibes and hope you and your family are prosperous and happy. A thousand times Mahalo!

Many moons ago I visited the sandbar and knew I needed to come back again. It took me 10 years but finally made it!!

I ponied up the cheddar for the private speed boat and for me it was perfect. Captain K was so attentive to my family. (My daughter tripped in the parking lot within 20 seconds of meeting him). He bandaged her up. Taught us about the geography of the bay. Went out of his way to find us some turtles at the end.

My 5 year old had the time of her life with all the fish! Snorkeling was amazing. All the toys already out on the sandbar were amazing.

10 out of 10. Will do again next time in Oahu.

I was worried about the weather, but it was low tide, sunny, and calm—perfect conditions that were truly beautiful. I was also able to see the honu up close. I was informed that there might not always be staff who speak Japanese, but on my boat, there were two, and I was able to experience everything without any issues.

天候などが心配でしたが、干潮かつ晴天、無風で最高の条件でとても美しかったです。ホヌも間近で見ることができました。必ず日本語が話せるスタッフがいるとは限らないとのことでしたが、私の船には二人もいらっしゃり、何不自由なく体験できました。

The weather was absolutely beautiful, perfect for a day at the beach! I was so happy to see sea turtles both from the boat on the way there and while snorkeling (even though it was a bit far).

It was great to see that there were people who were properly addressing those who were breaking the rules, whether they were part of another tour or individuals. It showed that everyone is committed to preserving the beauty created by nature.

As mentioned in other reviews, it was still a bit chilly when getting in and out of the water during this season, so I recommend bringing a large towel or a cover-up.

天候が非常に良く、天国の海日和でした！！
向かうまでの船からも、シュノーケリング中も（少し遠かったけど）ウミガメを見ることができて幸せでした♫
また、別のツアーなのか個人で来てる人なのかわかりません、ルール違反をしている方を見つけてはきちんと注意等されていたところが、皆様がこの自然の生み出した美しさを保たれていることがわかりよかったです。
他のレビューにもある通り、時期的にまだ海にずっと入っていたり、上がったりすると寒かったのでちゃんと大きめのタオルや羽織を持っていくことをおすすめします。

The included transportation was excellent. On time and our driver gave us commentary on the scenic drive to the harbor. On the way back he stopped at
Leonard's Barkery and let us get donuts!
The snorkeling at the bay was excellent, we saw lots of fish and saw 3 turtles.
Afterward we had about an hour at the bay to use paddleboards and floaties.
I wish they had kayaks like some of the other companies.
Snacks included granola bars, apples, chips, and musubi.
A little pricey but enjoyable morning.

this is a nice day on the water with a nice boat ride. Crew is very nice. It is $160 per person including transportation, and for that you get a seat on the boat maybe if you can find one, a cheeseburger with baked beans and fruit for lunch, a trip to a sandbar where either you play volleyball or stand around, then a trip to a reef to see little fish and turtles.

It was cloudy and cold because it was the rainy season.
I felt that measures against the cold were necessary.
Other than that, the staff were friendly, and I enjoyed my time.

The crew was amazing! The watersports we did was so much fun! Snorkeling and water volleyball was so cool, a turtle just swam up by our net and popped in to say hi! Views were incredible as well! Highly recommend this tour

The staff who picked us up by bus had excellent communication. When we arrived at the sea, there were staff members, including the captain, who spoke Japanese, and they were very approachable, making for a very enjoyable tour. Since the snorkeling was deep, I mentioned that I couldn't swim, and the staff provided me with a float and accompanied me around the area. Without that support, I would have had to give up, so I was very grateful for their proactive assistance. The sea was incredibly beautiful, an experience unlike any other. Stand-up paddleboarding was also fun. We even saw sea turtles. The water was so clear that it felt surreal.

気軽に声をかけていただけてとても楽しいツアーを過ごせました。 シュノーケリングは深いので 泳げない事を伝えたら スタッフが浮き輪を持たせてくれて一緒に1周回ってくれました。それがなかったらリタイアしているところを積極的に声をかけて頂けたこと とても嬉しかったです。海も抜群に綺麗でした。味わえない海です。サップも楽しかったです。
ウミガメも見れました。 海の色からもう透き通っていて非現実が味わえます。

This was a good choice, very knowledgeable of reef and endangered animals , Fun Responsible Worth it ,More for Adults then small kids but they do have small children aboard . Cheeseburger lunch included alcohol to purchase, fee softdrinks water juice. Do this you won't regret a minute.

At the time of departure, there were strong winds and rain. It was cold, and I didn't feel like going into the sea. I really wondered if we were going to set off, but the staff didn't seem to mind at all, and they started with a bright attitude, which helped me let go of my worries and enjoy the experience. After we arrived, the weather forecast improved. Occasionally, the sun came out, and I was satisfied. The people I was with naturally cared for each other, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. The only downside was the weather. Even in Hawaii, March is still not hot, so I think I want to go in the summer next time.

出発時は、強風で雨。寒くて、海に入る気持ちになれませんでした。本当に出発するの？という感じでしたが、スタッフの皆さまは全く気にする事なく、スタートして、明るく対応してくれていたので、ふっきれて楽しめました。到着後は天気予報も回復。時折り日もでて、満足でした。同行の方達とも自然とお互いに気をつかいながら、接していたので、和気藹々とできて、温かい気持ちにもなれました。最高点でないのは、やはり天候ですね。3月は、ハワイといえど、まだ暑くはないので、次は夏にいきたいと思います。

The weather was a bit bad, with strong winds and cloudy skies. It was quite cold to get into the sea. While snorkeling, I had so much fun that I forgot about the cold, and I got really excited when I found a turtle. There was a turtle near the coral, but when it moved away from the coral, there were no other creatures around. It was challenging to find the turtles, but the instructor helped by pointing out their location, and I was able to spot about six of them in total. After snorkeling, we had some free time, and I enjoyed paddleboarding. The catering was quite good, with hot coffee and warm water, which was very helpful. In March, it can be cold after snorkeling, so I think it's a good idea to bring plenty of towels.

少し天候が悪く風が強く曇りでした。
海に入るのが寒くて大変でした。
シュノーケル中は寒さを忘れるくらい楽しく、亀を見つけてはテンションが上がってました。
サンゴのところに亀がおりサンゴの周りから離れるとなんも生物はいませんでした。亀を見つけるのは大変でしたがインスタラクターの方がおる位置を教えてくれて見つけることができました。トータル6匹くらい見つけました。シュノーケルが終わったら自由時間で、サップを楽しみした。ケータリングもわりと充実しておりホットコーヒーやあったかいお湯がありとても助かります。
三月はシュノーケル後は寒いのでタオルをたくさん持ってた方がいいと思います。

In the afternoon plan, there was a banana boat and a bumper tube included. Unfortunately, due to high tide, we couldn't see the sandy beach, but we had a great time with marine sports in the beautiful sea. There were restrooms and changing rooms available (although they weren't very clean...). It was convenient with pick-up and drop-off from downtown Waikiki.

午後プランで、バナナボートとバンパーチューブ付きでした。
あいにく満潮で、砂浜を目にすることはできませんでしたが、綺麗な海でマリンスポーツ、とっても楽しかったです。
トイレ、更衣室付きでした(あまり綺麗ではありませんが。。)
ワイキキ市内から送迎付きで、便利でした。

After three years, I finally got to go on the sandbar tour!! The crew was fun, and I was satisfied to see many turtles! It was windy, but the hamburgers were delicious! Thank you!

We experienced a sandbar tour with Captain Bruce on a private boat. The weather forecast predicted bad weather, but it only rained a little, and the sea was beautiful!!

The captain was friendly and cool, and we had a great time snorkeling and seeing sea turtles! They provided special gear for our child who can't swim, so the whole family enjoyed it together.

The drinks and spam were delicious! Since we went with three generations, it was great to have a private boat!

I was unsure about participating in the tour, but I'm really glad we did!

天気も悪いとの予報でしたが、少し雨が降る程度で海も綺麗でした！！

キャプテンもフレンドリーでカッコよく、シュノーケルもウミガメも見れて凄く楽しかったです！泳げない子供にも専用のを貸して頂き家族みんなで楽しめました★

飲み物や、スパムも美味しかったです！
3世代で行ったので、貸切ボートにして良かったです！

ツアー体験も悩んでましたが、参加して本当に良かったです！

The day was so fun and easy. The transportation met us at the collection point (and returned us in the afternoon). At the boat jetty, we were welcomed with Alohas. We spent some time on the sandbar to explore, and play a game of volleyball. We then gently motored for some turtle spotting. After that, we were taken to the beautiful coral reef where we snorkelled and flippered around, what a sensation! I thoroughly enjoyed the BBQ and hot chocolate!

The sandbar was unfortunately not very sandbar-like due to the tides, but my daughter was really happy to see a sea turtle up close. It was an experience that is hard to come by in Japan. Also, the spam musubi made by the staff was delicious.

サンドバーは潮の満ち引きの関係で、あまりサンドバーらしくなく残念ではありましたが、ウミガメを至近距離で見られたのは娘も本当に喜んでいました。中々日本ではできない体験が出来ました。またらスタッフが作ってくれたスパムにぎりが美味しかった

I wanted to see the sandbar, but even though I chose a tour date that would arrive at the sandbar right at low tide, the water level was still up to my waist at the end of January due to the rainy season. However, I knew this from my research, so I enjoyed paddleboarding and snorkeling instead. On the day of the tour, the weather was great, and the water wasn't cold. The staff were very kind, taking videos for us and answering our questions patiently, which was really helpful. Even without seeing the sandbar, I had a great time, but if I have the chance again, I would love to join a tour during the dry season.

サンドバーを見たかったんですが、干潮の時間ぴったりにサンドバーに着くツアーの日付けを選んでも、1月末は雨季の為、やはり水位はお腹くらいまでありました。
でも、調べて分かっていたことなので、パドルボードやシュノーケルをして楽しみました。
当日は、天候に恵まれて、水も冷たくありませんでした。
スタッフの方たちも、とても親切で、ムービーを撮っていただいたり、質問にも丁寧に答えていただいて、助かりました。
サンドバーが見えてなくても楽しめますが、もしまた機会があれば、乾季にツアーに参加できたらなと思います。

The bus driver also provided guidance during the ride, and the captain explained things in Japanese, making it a fun and安心な体験!

The water was higher than I expected, reaching waist height. I aimed to go during low tide, but I couldn't see a very beautiful sandy beach. However, the water was clear, and snorkeling was amazing. There were many fish and turtles, and I was able to swim alongside them. I also enjoyed various experiences like stand-up paddleboarding. It was a lot of fun. The explanations in Japanese made me feel secure during the experience. I definitely want to check the low tide again when I visit Hawaii next time.

思ったより海の水も腰の高さまであり、
干潮をねらって行ったのですが
なかなか綺麗な砂浜は見れませんでしたが、
海の中も綺麗でシュノーケリングは最高でした。
魚やカメさんもたくさんいて
一緒に泳ぐ事ができました。
またsupやいろいろな体験ができて
楽しかったです。
日本語の説明もあり安心して体験できました。
ぜひまたハワイに行った時は
干潮を調べて体験したいと思います。

My husband and I, with my 21 year old son, had so much fun on our recent trip to Kaneohe Bay Sandbar with Ocean Sports Adventure. The trip started with an easy check-in process. We left the pier at 9:30 and arrived at the sandbar in 15 minutes. During this time, the crew served donuts and drinks while two musicians played live music. They were really good and professional. When we arrived there, we snorkeled first. Lots of reef fish! Then we tried SUP for the first time. Since it was such a windy day, the crew made sure we didn't float away to the areas that we weren't supposed to be. The captain took some of us on his boat and went to a nearby reef where green sea turtles are. We saw 2 of them! I highly recommend this activity to anyone!

SUP, kayaking, and snorkeling were so much fun!

The staff was kind and attentive, and I definitely want to go back! They are friendly and make sure you have a great time.

I went in February 2023, so it was a bit chilly, but I really enjoyed it.
