Great crew, seats, not just netting, beautiful views from the sea. Added surprise was the friendliness of the passengers even before the bar opened! Met almost everyone on board, laughed almost non-stop. BTW, despite what their website says, there IS A BATHROOM on board. Great experience!

The cruise begins with a yacht ride from the beach. It's essential to wear sandals or go barefoot since you'll be getting into the water to board the yacht. Also, be aware that waves may come, so your clothes are likely to get wet! I ended up soaked up to my chest.

Even on the yacht, there's a chance of getting wet. A cool guy on the yacht serves drinks, including Mai Tais and soft drinks. Everyone sits together and enjoys the cruise.

I think it depends on the day, but it was quite rocky that day. Those prone to seasickness should be cautious; my friend got seasick. The kids were with us, but they didn't get sick and had a great time.

While enjoying the waves, I also took in the views of Diamond Head and Waikiki. The highlight was definitely the sunset! It was absolutely beautiful! The cruise continues until the sunset is over.

I highly recommend this tour for those who don't get seasick; it's a unique experience you can only have in Hawaii.

I participated in a sunset cruise for the first time. The waves were quite high and it was rocky, but I was fine since I took motion sickness medication. There was only one other group of Japanese people besides us. We had soft drinks, but everyone else was drinking Mai Tais. It gets a bit chilly, so a jacket is a must. We also got to see dolphins, which was very exciting. I would like to join the Hilton fireworks next time.

This year, I went to Hawaii to participate in the Hapalua Marathon. Since I had a busy schedule of 3 nights and 5 days, I arrived without a plan. When the schedule is set from the beginning, I tend to get greedy and end up moving around too much, which prevents me from enjoying the relaxed pace that Hawaii offers. It was great that I could make arrangements on-site the day before! On the day of the event, we were the only Japanese passengers, which made it even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it to everyone.

I cannot recommend this sunset cruise enough! My friends and I had an amazing time. The crew and captain were so friendly and welcoming and created such a fun atmosphere on the boat. The views were unbelievably beautiful, we had perfect weather and a gorgeous sunset. The price is more than fair considering the length of time on the water (1.5 hours) and the fact that the drinks are included. I would absolutely do it again!

We loved our time on the snorkeling and dinner cruise excursion. Well worth the price. Our captain gave great instruction and safety procedures. He also took us up snd close to a whale which gave us quite a show within 25 yards or so. The time by the shore snorkeling was impressive. Lots of fish.
The dinner was delicious with plenty of variety of drinks both spirited and not. I enjoyed the time to enjoy the sunset. Beautiful. There are two restrooms where you can change. Two shower hoses to rinse off after you snorkel. Staff was great. Underwater photographer was along for optional photo package you can purchase.

About 30% of the guests were Japanese, and there were no explanations in Japanese, so it might not be suitable for those who are anxious without Japanese language support. I was amazed by how much the guests from other countries enjoyed their drinks! That was fun too.

However, the yacht does sway quite a bit, so I wouldn't recommend it for those who are prone to seasickness. I saw reviews saying it wasn't too rocky, so I thought, "Maybe I'll be okay?" and took some motion sickness medication before participating, but for me, the swaying was significant, and I ended up feeling very seasick. However, I was the only one who got seasick, so I think those who don't worry too much about it can enjoy themselves thoroughly!!!

About 80% of the guests were from English-speaking countries (there were 6 Japanese people), and the captain and bartender on board were also American. All announcements were in English, but since the explanations for drinks and life jackets were simple, it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Personally, I preferred this place over one filled with only Asians. I made friends with other American passengers and had a great time. By the way, drinks were all-you-can-drink, and there was sparkling wine available. My recommendation is the Mai Tai!

I know it's just the luck of the draw and bad timing but 5 or 6 people got sick on our trip due to high waves. Maybe cancelling the trip would have been best because after all that, the provided meal was not at all appetizing. Yes we saw a couple green sea turtles, but it would have been much, much better without the fear of human projectile.

I was a bit worried about taking my 83-year-old sister-in-law on the cruise, but it was really enjoyable. The night view of Waikiki, the fireworks, and the sailing were all very pleasant. While some other catamarans weren't sailing, the captain was great, and I was truly satisfied. When boarding, your feet can get wet, so it might be helpful to bring a towel and find a way to warm your feet. My sister-in-law put her feet in a plastic bag.

Basically, if you can speak English and enjoy drinking, you'll have a great time. We were also able to see whales, which I think is a fantastic deal. At first, I was cautious thinking I might get seasick, but I was strongly encouraged with, "You're on the Mai Tai boat, so why aren't you drinking a Mai Tai?!" and after that, it was a big party!

About 20 minutes after departure, we set sail with the sails up, and right after that, the captain shouted, "Wow, a whale!" Looking ahead, we saw a whale spouting water. The sunset was incredibly beautiful, and we had unlimited drinks including beer, Mai Tais, and soft drinks. The boat also had a proper restroom, which was reassuring. Plus, if you're lucky, you might get to see whales and dolphins like we did—it's a great and easy tour.

Just be careful as the explanations are all in English, and watch out for seasickness. But you can manage to catch the gist of the English through the atmosphere.

We went on a cruise with a senior couple we are close to. This was our second time, following last year, and since we had such a great experience then, we invited the senior couple along. The views from the boat were spectacular, and what I particularly recommend is seeing how the shape of Diamond Head changes from different angles as the boat moves. What made it even better was that the senior couple was truly impressed. We could go every time!

If you're looking to enjoy fireworks on a Friday night, I highly recommend this tour. Watching the sunset from Waikiki Beach and the fireworks from the boat is fantastic.
