It was a cloudy and cold evening, and I was disappointed that I could only see a little bit of the sunset. However, I was unexpectedly moved by the wonderful night view of Waikiki from the hotel. This is something you can only experience by being on a boat. I highly recommend the night view from the sea; it's very romantic!

曇り空で　寒い夕暮れになってしまい、少ししか夕焼けを見ることが出来ず、ガッカリしていたら、夕暮れからワイキキのホテルの夜景の素晴らしさに　逆に感動しました。
これは　船に乗らないと体験できなかった事です。
皆さんにも　海から見る夜景はとてもロマンチックでおすすめします。

It was a wonderful time!
I have only basic English skills for everyday conversation, but I didn't have any trouble at all. The reservation was easy.
The captain and crew welcomed us very kindly. The weather was great, so the sunset was amazing! The night view of Honolulu from the boat was also fantastic! The catamaran was excellent! And the interior of the boat was clean! We even got to see dolphins! There were so many unforgettable sights, and it's a memory I'll cherish for a lifetime. Thank you very much.

Just before departure, there were occasional showers, and I was worried about whether I would be able to see a beautiful sunset today. However, thanks to those showers, I was fortunate enough to see a perfect rainbow stretching from Diamond Head to Hyatt Regency. The captain said, "You can see a rainbow every day," but I don't think that's true.

After that, I also enjoyed the beautiful sunset sinking into the Pacific Ocean, making for a very satisfying sunset sailing experience.

出航間際から時折、シャワーがあって今日は綺麗な夕日が見えるか心配していましたが、そのシャワーのおかげで幸運にもダイアモンドヘッドからハイアットリージェンシーに掛かる完璧な虹を見ることが出来ました。キャプテンは「虹は毎日見えるよ」って言ってましたが、そんなことは無いと思います。
その後、太平洋に沈む美しい夕日も堪能出来て、大満足のサンセットセーリングでした。

We participated as a family! Once we got out to the ocean, those who wanted to put on life jackets and dove from the boat!! I had never done that in Japan, and floating on my back in the vast sea felt amazing.

The sunset was also incredibly beautiful, and since the day we participated was a full moon, we enjoyed both experiences.

また夕日も凄く綺麗でしたし、参加した日がちょうど満月だったので両方楽しめました。

Captain Alexio and Jesse were fantastic. They were very welcoming and made the rounds with people on the boat to give a personalized touch. Jesse was attentive to the folks that were in the water during the swim portion of the evening. I will definitely ride with them again the next time I’m in Hawaii.

It was great to see people from various countries gathered together, and we had quite a bit of freedom on the boat! I regret not getting in the water during the sailing, as it felt a bit embarrassing. The sunset was absolutely stunning! There was nice music playing, which added to the pleasant atmosphere. Coincidentally, it was a full moon, and after the sun set, the full moon rose beautifully, which was incredibly picturesque! This was an experience that is hard to come by in Japan. Even after it got dark, we could see the beautiful lights of Hawaii, and I enjoyed every moment! Since the guide spoke English, I didn't fully understand the content, but it wasn't a problem since we were just on the boat.

多国籍の人たちが集まっていたのも良かったですし船の中では割と自由でした！セーリング途中で海に入れるところ、何となく気恥ずかしくて入らなかったのが心残りです。夕日も最っっっ高にキレイでした！いい音楽も流れていて気持ちよかったです。たまたま満月とゆうこともあり、夕日が落ちたあと満月がキレイに浮かび上がってこれも最高に美しかったです！なかなか日本では体験出来ないことでした。暗くなってからもハワイのキレイな光が見れてどの瞬間も楽しめました！英語のガイドだったので話の内容はよくわかりませんでしたが船に乗っているだけなので問題ありませんでした。

The guys who led our sunset were great. They supported everyone with warm vibes and clear communication on how to act on the vessel. Swim time and the sunset were truly mesmerizing moments, we even a honu in the near distance! I enjoyed the mix of talking and also providing space for us all to just be with nature and the evening. It was our captains first trip, and he did great too (I think Alonsio!). My parents were celebrating they 37th anniversary and they cheered up the whole group over it, which made them feel so seen and heard : ) Mahalo nui loa. Highly recommend.

The weather was great, and it was the best sailing experience. I was able to take a lot of wonderful photos. However, mineral water was not provided.

Even though it rained during our cruise we still had a great time because of the crew memebrs! Affordable great drinks (1 was free) and good music! Definitely recommend booking through them and will do it again when we come back to Hawaii! Shout out to Sarah for giving her rain jacket to the lady next to me so she wouldn't get wet!

Super fun experience. The boat and crew were friendly and their pina coladas were EXCELLENT.

The only thing that kept this from being an outstanding experience was that as a solo participant, I was a little left out. Drink orders went out and someone finally noticed I didn’t have one and took care of it. Then, towards the end, another staff member went around asking everyone if they wanted their photos taken and I wasn’t included. At the end of the day, it’s no biggie and I don’t think it was intentional but just wanted to mention it for consideration. I think it’s just one of those things that happen to solo travelers here and there.

Otherwise, loved it!

Great 2hr experience with about half an hour of swimming out in the ocean included. Also sailed with spinnaker open and friendly crew! Not overcrowded and quality drinks aboard

Our sunset cruise was our favorite experience while in Hawaii! Our crew was the absolute best! They were so fun and personable. Would 100% do this again…provided we get the same crew and would recommend it to anyone. Mike, Jesse and Alexio made sure everyone on board was safe while enjoying their time. My family and I cannot say enough positive things about this cruise. We even printed the photo and have it in a frame at home.

It was awesome experience!But ladies room is not clean and stinky and lock is broken, and different selections in alcohol which they advised in their website.

If you’re in Hawaii and you don’t do this cruise, then you’re missing out!! Such a perfect event to end the evening. So relaxing, the staff was awesome, and the boat was amazing. We end up doing it again.

The meeting place was a bit unsettling without a large landmark (across from Prince Waikiki Hotel), but as soon as we boarded, we were greeted by the captain. The staff was friendly, which put us at ease. There were no other Japanese participants besides us; the group was filled with tourists from various countries, giving it a truly international feel.

The view of Waikiki Beach from the sea was fantastic, showcasing the familiar luxury hotels and the full panorama of Diamond Head. It was a lucky moment when a sea turtle popped its head up near the boat. We also had the opportunity to stop the boat and dive into the water to swim. The slowly setting sun and the changing colors of the sky over time were truly beautiful.

集合場所は大きな目印もなく少々不安でしたが（プリンスワイキキホテル斜め向かいのハーバー）、乗船してすぐに船長。スタッフがフレンドリーで安心しました。参加者は私たち以外に日本人はおらず各国の観光客で外国感満載。
海から眺めるワイキキビーチはおなじみの高級ホテル群、ダイヤモンドヘッドの全景が見れて最高でした。ボートのそばにウミガメが顔を出してくれたのもラッキーでした。途中ボートを停泊して、海にダイブして泳ぐことも抱きました。ゆっくり沈む夕日、時間とともに変化する空の色も本当にきれいでした。

We chose the sunset cruise. Upon arrival we were a bit concerned about the surf as it was pretty rough for this time of the year. I asked the captain about it, and he said they would have no issue. We left the harbor, and the waves were pretty good size. The boat cut through them with no issues. The boat is a good size, about 35' x 55', and we were able to get up and walk around and take some great pictures. We took our own cocktails, and the crew had an ice chest to store them. The crew was very friendly, and the cruise was very relaxing. it was the best money spent while on our vacation.

I took the Red Line Trolley from Waikiki and got off at the King Kamehameha statue, aiming for Aloha Tower while sightseeing. Many shops in the nearby mall seemed to be closed, possibly due to the impact of COVID-19, and I had trouble finding a restroom. At check-in, I presented the voucher on my phone, and after the usual photo session, we boarded the ship. For us, who didn't need a dinner that was too much to eat, one drink was sufficient. (You can order drinks on board. There was a Japanese staff member, so I think it's fine even if you can't speak English.) It seemed that many of the other passengers were tourists from the mainland United States. There was a restroom on the ship, but it wasn't very clean. We moved from Pier 6 near Aloha Tower out towards Waikiki, making a U-turn just before Diamond Head to return. During sunset, the lights of Waikiki and the sunset were very beautiful. Since it was windy, a light jacket is necessary. A little before disembarking, a staff member will ask if you'd like to buy the photos taken before boarding, either as data or printed. We purchased a cheap printed photo. (I think it was around $25 in cash.) After disembarking, we returned to Waikiki by The Bus.

ワイキキからレッドライントロリーで、カメハメハ大王前で下車し、観光しながらアロハタワーを目指しました。付近のモールは、コロナ禍の影響かクローズしているお店が多く、トイレも使えず、困りました。チェックインでは、携帯のバウチャー画面を提示して、お決まりの写真撮影から始まり、乗船しました。食べきれない程のディナーは不要な私たちには、ワンドリンクで十分でした。(船上でドリンクオーダーはできます。従業員の中に日本人の方がいたので、英語できなくても大丈夫だと思います。)他の乗客は、アメリカ本土からの観光客が多かったような印象です。船の中にトイレはありましたが、あまりキレイではありませんでした。アロハタワー近くのピア6からワイキキの沖の方に移動してダイアモンドヘッド沖の手前でUターンして戻りました。夕暮れ時で、ワイキキの明かりや夕焼けがとてもキレイでした。風が強いので、羽織る上着は必要です。下船少し前に、乗船前の写真をデータかプリントされた物を買わないか？従業員が聞きに回ります。私たちは、安いプリントされた写真を購入しました。(現金で、25＄くらいだったと思います。)下船後は、The busでワイキキに戻りました。

The boat is so big. Not crowded. There were a lot of space which I love! We were able to see the sunset! The view is amazing! The staffs are super nice and friendly. They kept asking to take photos for us. Definitely recommend!

This was wonderful and we enjoyed it very much! The staff was friendly, the music was light and fun, and the atmosphere was very relaxed.

Don't miss out on this trip, you will love it, greeat view of the island, the sunset and make sure you bring your swiming trunks, dive into the water and enjoy!!!

Disappointing! This excursion was marketed as a sunset dinner cruise. There was a boat - and a takeout bag of overpriced food, but no tables. The information provided did not include the type of attire that was appropriate for the boat or even how long the trip was. For the price of the trip and meal, I expected to at least not to have to juggle my food on my lap. The crew was nice, but they also made sure we were positioned to be back dockside as soon as the sun broke the horizon. If you are looking for a quick, casual romp, this might work for you - but if you are looking for a romantic dinner cruise - this may not be it.

Moana sailing Company gave my wife and I an outstanding sunset cruise. It was a very peaceful cruise and the staff was friendly and very genuine! I love the crew and the service!

Positives:
- friendly crew
- large boat
- BYOB
- boat was not crowded on the night that I went (only about 10 passengers total on a Thursday night)
- good areas to sit around boat and up front on nets

Negatives:
- beware that many sunsets on many nights are occluded by clouds (the company obviously can't control this)

Moana sailing is a straight vibe along with their service to our preferred BYOB cruise. Entry was smooth with friendly staff to help with setting a great sail during golden hour near diamond head. I would not skip out experience additional whale watching alongside this blue coastal waters (if your lucky). Bring a pack of claws and your friends into one of the best water rides this side of the Pacific.

Reasonable price, Professional, Kindness! I highly recommended!

We were lucky enough to have a smaller number of passengers on the boat and the crew definitely helped us make the most of it! Brian, Ryan an Mike were all awesome! The sunset with beautiful and we all had a great time sailing through the swells.

This is a tiny boat not a cruise by any chance. Very inexperienced young crew

This cruise was beautiful, so relaxing, such a good way to end the day. Booze , great music, the sunset , recommend it to anyone visiting Oahu for the first time, whether if its with family, friends, or partner; its just an amazing experience. The crew was awesome and made us feel welcomed, the people of Hawaiii are some of the nicest individuals ive met. 10/10

I am a widow and did this experience with my three sons - ages 24,23 and 15 .. might never happen again …as they grow older and probably have their own families .. wishing I could do it again with them.. fortunately, they enjoyed the sail and asked me when again (I had in my heart a leap of joy ) .. cause the sail was smooth and fun out the sea with lively music, some laughters when the water splashed towards us ( we were seated at the front right side of the boat) didn’t expect that to happen and got soaking wet, basking in the sun, watching the dolphins play (this was truly awesome !) and taking sunset photos. I highly recommend Moana Waikiki .. the crew was friendly and this pretty and amiable lady was going around asking if we need anything and volunteering to take photos of us - it was highly appreciated! We had so much fun! Lovely and beautiful memories to treasure!
