I started with the canyon plan, but I was suddenly informed that horseback riding was canceled due to the muddy ground from the rain the day before and the rain on the day itself, which made it even more dangerous. However, I was quickly switched to a seaside horseback riding experience where the weather was nice, and I had an incredibly fun time.

Hiro, who was different from the initial staff, was amazing until the very end. Before we went horseback riding, the staff explained the precautions in English and detailed the process of getting on the horse, which was very easy to understand. As a first-timer, I felt reassured and was able to ride without any trouble. The horse was calm and well-behaved.

After riding, I learned about tipping, which is not common in Japan. I was told that if I enjoyed the experience, I should hand over a certain amount of dollars at the end, so I was able to do that smoothly.

During lunch, I made a phone reservation to ensure we could eat as soon as the restaurant opened, and by the time we arrived, our orders were ready. Hiro also provided us with unique experiences that we wouldn't find elsewhere until just before we parted ways.

I know I've written a lot, but I truly believe that the quality of the tour was largely due to the role of the tour coordinator. Although I suddenly switched from the more expensive canyon horseback riding plan to the more affordable seaside option, thanks to Hiro, I had a really enjoyable day. Of course, the difference in price for the plans was refunded the next day.

渓谷プランでスタートしましたが、乗馬は突然の中止（前日の雨で山の地面がぬかるんでいた上に当日も雨が降ったので尚更危険な状態となった）を言い渡されました。が、しかし即、天気の良かった海辺の乗馬に入れ込んでもらい
超楽しい時間を過ごせました。
最初のスタッフと変わったHiroさん、最後の最後まで最高でしたよ。
乗馬に行く前には、乗馬のスタッフは英語で注意事項を喋るからと、こんなことの説明があるとかの馬に乗るまでの流れ等々を詳細に話してくれました。非常に分かりやすく、初体験の私も安心して苦労することなく乗馬できました。
馬も大人しく、行儀も良かったですよ。
乗馬後は、日本には無いチップについて、こういう訳で、楽しかったと思たら◯ドルを最後に手渡してあげてくださいと馬場に向かう車内て教えてもらっていたので、すんなり手渡すこともできました。
昼食時には、開店と同時に食べられるように、注文を各人に聞いて店に電話予約、店に着いた頃には、本当に注文した食事ができている状態でした。他にもヒロさんには、他では味わえないことを解散直前までやってもらいました。
長々書き込んでいますが、ツアーの内容が良かったと感じるのは、やはり同行するツアーコーディネーターの役割が100%ですね
値段の高い渓谷乗馬プランから、安めの海辺乗馬に突然なりましたが、ヒロさんのおかげで、本当に楽しい一日を過ごせました。
当然、プランの値段に対する差額は、翌日に戻ってきました。

I had such a fun experience that I can't believe I did it in my lifetime! For this price, it felt like a great deal! I asked for both video and photos, and I appreciate that they edited them beautifully on their own! I definitely want to do this again when I go to Hawaii!

We gathered early in the morning and arrived at the northern airport just before 7 AM. The explanation time was surprisingly short, and there was a sense of urgency to get going. Even though I didn't opt for video recording, I thought at least we could have some conversation, but the instructor was mostly focused on preparing without much interaction. It felt quite impersonal.

Once we took off in the Cessna, it was all very matter-of-fact. Well, I guess that’s just the instructor's personality. What I didn’t like was the way we descended after deploying the paraglider. It was a rapid descent with sudden stops and sharp turns—way too fast. My hips were hurting! Isn’t that a bit too self-centered?

Before I knew it, we were back on the ground. The instructor quickly packed up, probably because it’s just another day for them. After about 15 minutes of maintenance and a break, the instructor was off again with new guests.

I mean, it's fine to be calm and collected, but honestly, the roughness of the descent made me not want to tip. Even in business, I expected at least a minimum level of kindness. Just how many times do you have to do this to get it right? Please don’t treat customers roughly. I won’t be doing this again on Oahu.

早朝集合で、北部の空港着いたのが7時前。
説明時間がやたら短く、さっさといくぞ感。
ビデオ撮影やら、オプション付けてなかったけどさ、せめて会話くらいしてくんね？と思うくらいほとんど絡みなくどんどん支度していくインストラクター。雑感がすごかった。
さあ、セスナで上昇、飛ぶときがきても、淡々と。。。まあ、インストラクターの個性でしょうけど。
良くなかったのはパラグライダー展開後の降下の仕方。急降下、急制動、急旋回、はやいはやい。股関節痛いんですが？？！自分本位過ぎではないですかね？
あっという間に地上着。さっさと片付けるインストラクター。まあ、日常だから？
その後、15分くらい整備片付けと休憩したインストラクターはまた新たな客人と空へ。
はぁ、いや、いいんですよ淡々とってところは。ただ、降下の乱暴な感じは正直、チップあげたくなくなりますわ。
ビジネスとしても、最低限の優しさは欲しかったな。
回数こなしてナンボ？？客を乱暴に扱わないでね〜。オアフ島ではもうやらないよ。

Kualoa Ranch / 1-Hour Horseback Riding Experience

This tour is extremely popular, and although I originally hoped for a 2-hour tour, we couldn't secure a reservation, so we participated in the 1-hour tour!

Each person is assigned a horse by the staff, and they pair us up. I was really happy to be matched with a beautiful chestnut horse.

The horses are very intelligent and follow the horse in front of them. So, even as a beginner, I felt completely safe!

Amidst the magnificent scenery, the sound of the horses' hooves, the breeze, and the fresh air were truly amazing. Next time, I want to make a reservation early and join the 2-hour course!

クアロア牧場/乗馬体験1時間

とっても大人気のツアーということもあり、本当は2時間のツアーが希望でしたが予約がとれず、私達は1時間のツアーへ参加しました！

一人一人に係の方が馬を選んで下さり、ペア決めをしていきます。私は栗毛がとっても綺麗な馬に当たりとっても嬉しい気持ちになりました。

馬は本当に頭が良く、前の馬に習って後を歩きます。
なので初心者でも全く怖くなかったです！

壮大な景色の中、馬の足音と風と空気も澄んでいて本当に最高でした。次は早めに予約をとって2時間コースに参加したいです。

It was my first experience skydiving. I participated in a tour during a student trip. I was able to have an exhilarating experience in the extraordinary setting of Hawaii, filled with tension and excitement. The instructor was also kind and managed to break the ice with humorous lectures for the nervous participants. I definitely want to experience it again.

スカイダイビング初体験でした。
学生旅行でのツアー参加です。ハワイという非日常的なシチュエーションでの緊迫感、高揚感ある体験をできました。
インストラクターの方も親切で、緊張しているツアー参加者をユーモアあるレクチャーでアイスブレイクもできました。
ぜひまた体験したいです。

I participated with my mother (75 years old). Even seniors and beginners can enjoy a full hour and a half of horseback riding safely and happily. The female guide is very friendly. She also takes photos along the way (with your own smartphone or camera). You can experience walking on the sandy beach and through the "salad bar" (pasture, as the guide metaphorically describes it, since the horses love to eat grass), truly feeling like you're horseback riding in Hawaii! I definitely want to participate again.

母（７５歳）と参加しました。
シニアで初心者でも安心に楽しく１時間半たっぷり乗馬出来ます。
ガイドの女性もとてもフレンドリーです。
途中で写真も撮ってくれます。（自分のスマフォ、又はカメラにです）
砂浜を歩いたり、サラダバー（牧草地、馬が草を食べたがるので。ガイドさんの比喩です）を歩いたりで正にハワイで乗馬してる！！という感じを体験できます。
ぜひ、また参加したいです。

PCC was a lot of fun and had so many different things to do. This was my third time coming to the center. I got there at noon, had their lunch buffet, and visited a few islands before seeing the new canoe show. Huki replaces the canoe pageant and is a lot more elaborate: there's a narration, music, and many more canoes in the water. The show as a whole is a lot more impressive, just make sure you get there early to get good seats in the shade.

After the canoe show we went to a few more villages (Samoa, Fiji, Tonga) before having our fancy prime rib dinner. I preferred the setting of the fine dining option to the luau dinner, as it was quieter and they have ice cream. Crab legs were also a bonus. After dinner, I had an hour or so to spend at the Hukilau Marketplace before the night show, so I browsed around. The night show was great. It put together things from every village presentation along with music, lights, and a longer story that connects all of it. The show is pretty long though, so use the bathroom beforehand (no intermissions).

PCC is a fun way to spend a day in Hawaii and learn a lot about Polynesian culture. Even if you've been there before like me, there's always something new to see or try!

I thought one hour of horseback riding would be too short, so I opted for the two-hour course. Depending on the reservation situation that day, there was about an hour of waiting time after arriving by shuttle bus until the horseback riding assembly time, so I looked around the shop and took photos with the horses while waiting.

Once the horseback riding began, we went to the back of the vast grounds near the mountains and returned, but the guide did not provide any information about the filming locations at all; they only directed the horses that were lagging behind, and we just rode along while taking photos of the scenery. I ended up getting bored halfway through.

After the horseback riding ended, we had to wait for two hours until the scheduled bus departure time. The shop was small, so I had already seen everything during the hour before riding, and the restaurant had an unappealing "employee cafeteria" atmosphere, so I ended up just sitting and waiting. I think the waiting time can be quite tiring. I recommend that those who can rent a car meet at the location by car.

乗馬1時間は短すぎるかと思い、2時間コースにしました。
その日の予約状況で変動するかと思いますが、送迎バスで到着後、乗馬の集合時間まで1時間ほど時間があったので売店を見たり馬と写真を撮ったりして待ちました。

乗馬が始まって、広大な敷地の山の裏付近まで行くって戻ってくるのですが、ガイドさんは最後までロケ地の案内などする事は一切なく、遅れをとっている馬に指図するだけで私達は景色を見ながら写真を撮ってただ乗っているだけです。なので途中で飽きてしまいました。

乗馬終了後は支持されたバスの出発時間まで2時間もありました。売店は小規模なので乗馬前の1時間で見尽くしてしまいましたし、レストランも全く魅力的ではない”社員食堂”っぽい雰囲気なので結局座ってひたすら待っていました。
待ち時間で疲労が溜まると思います。
レンタカーを借りれる方はレンタカーで現地集合する事をお勧めします。

I think there are various activities available, but skydiving probably requires the highest level of determination. When I actually tried it, I realized that it was something that demanded maximum guts, which I don't usually experience in my daily life. However, the experience gained from it allowed me to feel the sensation of free falling and the reality of flying while enjoying the wonderful scenery of Hawaii. It was truly an amazing experience.

いろいろなアクティビティはあると思いますが、スカイダイビングはおそらく最高難度の根性が必要なアクティビティだと思います。
実際やってみると、自分が普段お生活で味わえない、最大にガッツを見せないといけないことがわかりました。
しかし、そこで得られる体験で、自分が自由落下している感覚や、ハワイの素晴らしい景色を見ながら飛んでいる実感が味わえて、本当に素晴らしい経験でした。

The weather was wonderful, and horseback riding while looking at the ocean was the best. The children were also very happy. Thank you very much.

I casually thought about wanting to do this and signed up, while getting my expectations up by looking at everyone’s reviews. However, when the day came, I got nervous and thought, "I hope I’ll be okay," feeling extremely anxious (laughs).

I had signed up for the morning plan, so I gathered at a nearby hotel before 5 AM. It took about an hour to arrive. When we got there, the sky was beautiful, and I could see a different kind of Hawaiian sky in Honolulu!

From there, we watched a video to learn how to skydive, and then it was just a matter of waiting for our turn... As my name was called and I saw others getting geared up, I enjoyed the thrill of anticipation (laughs). The instructor spoke in simple Japanese, which helped ease my nerves, but when we took off into the sky, I almost felt like I couldn’t do it. When the instructor told me, "We’re only halfway up," I panicked and thought, "Still!?" (laughs).

About eight groups flew up, and I was the last to dive. Watching everyone drop in front of me was shocking. At first, I couldn’t even scream from the impact of the dive, but soon I was shouting! When the parachute opened, the view and the feeling were amazing☆ As I was screaming my head off, the instructor found it amusing and made us spin, which was so much fun (laughs).

The skydive felt like it was over in an instant, but I already wanted to do it again! By the way, make sure to take motion sickness medication! I had taken some, but I felt the most nauseous when we landed on the ground (sweat). Also, tips were given in a box after the jump.

I jumped in late November, and it was a bit chilly, so I went in a short-sleeve shirt and a cardigan. Please keep this in mind!

やりたいな〜と軽く思って申し込み、皆さんの口コミを見て期待度を高めていました。が、いざ当日になると緊張してきて｢大丈夫かな｣と不安MAX（笑）
当日は午前のプランで申し込んでいたので5時前に近くのホテル集合。1時間ほどで到着しました。到着時、空が綺麗でホノルルの空は違ったハワイの空が見られました！
そこからはビデオを見てスカイダイビングの方法を知り、あとは順番待ち、、、
名前を呼ばれて装備していく周りの方の姿を見ながらドキドキ感を楽しみます（笑）
インストラクターさんは日本語を単語で話ながら緊張を解してくれたので余裕が出てきましたが、空に飛び立つと｢飛べないかも｣と挫折しそうになりました。｢まだ半分の高さだよ｣とインストラクターさんに教えて貰った時は｢まだ！？｣と焦りました（笑）8組ほどで空へ飛び、タイブするのは最後で目の前で次々と落ちて行く姿は衝撃的でした。
ダイブすると初めは衝撃で声も出ませんでしたがすぐに絶叫！！パラシュートが開くと絶景と気持ちよさで最高でした☆絶叫しまくっているとインストラクターさんも面白がり旋回させられめっちゃ楽しかったです（笑）
あっという間のスカイダイビングでしたが、すぐにまたやりたい！と思うほどです。
ちなみに、絶対に酔い止めは飲んでおいてください！薬は飲んでいましたが地上着陸時に1番酔いました(汗)
あとチップは飛んだあとに箱に入れる形式でした。
11月下旬に飛びましたが肌寒く半袖＋カーディガンで行きました。是非、参考にしてください！

I was picked up by a shuttle. I felt anxious because the shuttle was delayed, possibly due to the crowded pickup area with various shuttles stopping, but if you wait patiently, it will come for you. So, those who request a pickup can wait at the designated spot without worry.

The zip line was really fun, but they explained some history along the way, and since I didn't understand English, I felt a bit left out while everyone else was laughing. I thought it was nice that other participants were able to engage in conversation in English. They demonstrated how to use the zip line, so that was fine. I think it would have been an even more enjoyable day if I understood English better.

シャトルで送迎してもらいました。
ピックアップが色んなシャトルが止まるところで混んでいたのかシャトルが遅れてきていて不安になりましたが、動かずにまっていたら来てくれるので、送迎を頼まれた方は心配せずピックアップの場所で待っていて大丈夫だと思います。
ジップラインはとっても楽しかったですが
途中途中でなにか歴史？を説明してくれていたのですが英語がわからずみんなが笑っている中、私たちはわからず疎外感が。笑
他の参加者には英語で話しかけたりしていて
楽しそうでいいなーと思いました。
ジップラインのやり方などは手本を見せてくれるので大丈夫でした。
もっと英語がわかればより楽しい日になったなと思いました。

The time for the Dole Plantation and Haleiwa sightseeing was very short.
Horseback riding was a lot of fun.

Since we arrived in Waikiki earlier than scheduled, I wished we could have explored Haleiwa a bit more.

It was great that we received various information about Hawaii during the ride.

It was a private experience just for us! This was my second time riding, but this one was the best! The sunset viewed from the sandy beach is an unforgettable memory! I recommend going by car, though. It was a tough rural town without transportation, haha. We used Uber! The driver was a nice person and waited for us until we were done. It's better to go with plenty of time to spare. By the way, it's almost completely dark at night since there are hardly any streetlights.

私たちだけの貸し切りでした！乗馬2回目でしたが、こっちのが最高でした！砂浜から見る夕焼けは忘れられない思い出です！
ただ車で行くことをお勧めします。足がないと厳しい田舎町でした笑私たちはUber使用しました！運転手さんが良い人で終わるまで待っててくれました。時間に余裕を持って行った方が良いです。ちなみに夜はほぼ街頭がないので真っ暗です。

I enjoyed a leisurely horseback ride along the beach, greeting people who were fishing or taking walks. The scenery was truly wonderful. There are some bumpy paths, but I found them more enjoyable than riding on flat roads. While riding through the trees, my horse occasionally tried to veer off to eat grass, but I could keep it on track with the reins. Even if the horse didn't respond to my commands, I felt reassured knowing that the guides in front and behind me were there to help.

海辺をゆっくり乗馬しながら、釣りをしていたり散歩している人と挨拶したりもしました。景色が本当に素晴らしかったです。少しでこぼこした道がありますが、それも平坦な道を行くよりは楽しかったです。木々の中を乗馬していたら、馬がたまに草を食べに横道に行きそうになりますが、手綱で操作すれば真っ直ぐ進んでくれます。馬が指示を聞いてくれなくても前後のガイドの人が指導してくれるので安心でした。

I was really looking forward to it before doing it. I thought it would be expensive, but I am very satisfied! I'm glad I did it. The scenery was amazing, and the staff were kind. Although I couldn't communicate much in Japanese, I managed with my broken English, and there was someone in the same group who was fluent in English, so it was okay.

する前からとても楽しみでした。する前は、費用がかかるなぁと思っていましたが、大満足です◎
やって良かった。景色も最高だし、スタッフさん達も優しかったです。ほぼ日本が通じませんでしたが何とかカタコトの英語と同じグループには英語ができる堪能な人が居たので大丈夫でした。

We enjoyed every part of our Polynesian experience, our guide was excellent, we found all six village experiences very informative, amusing and interesting. the new water pageant feature was great. Our meals were ok for banquet style buffet. and the show "Ha Breath of life was excellent"

Absolutely awesome! Every moment was outstanding and beyond our expectation.

There are 8 zip lines in total: 1 for practice and 7 for activities. They are much higher and longer than those in Japan. There are also rope climbing and suspension bridge crossing, which require quite a bit of physical strength. They pay great attention to safety, and there are plenty of water stations. However, the instructors only speak English, so a certain level of English proficiency is necessary.

練習用1本，アクティビティ用7本，計8本のジップライン．日本国内のものよりはるかに高く，長いものが多いです．
ロープクライムや吊り橋渡りなどもあり，かなり体力が必要．
安全にはとても配慮してくれるし，給水ポイントも豊富．
ただし，インストラクターは英語オンリーなので，それなりの英語力は必要．

I had a wonderful horseback riding experience in a stunning landscape that felt like dinosaurs could appear at any moment. I would love to go again.

素晴らしい景観で本当に今にでも恐竜が出現しそうな雰囲気で楽しく乗馬体験させて頂きました。
もう一度行きたいと思います。

I had an absolutely amazing time! (laughs)

I was quite nervous at first, but thanks to the kind staff, I was able to ride without any issues after just a 5-minute briefing. There were ups and downs, and suddenly we passed through a tunnel in the forest that felt like something out of My Neighbor Totoro, riding on horseback. We climbed rocky areas while keeping an eye on free-range cows—it was quite an adventure! Surprisingly, my backside didn't hurt much at all. I kept saying how fun and interesting it was, and even though the experience was supposed to last an hour, they let us ride for about an hour and a half!

They only spoke English, but they talked slowly and clearly, which actually made it feel more authentic. There were just the two of us and another group, so it felt like a private experience! It had more of a Western vibe than a Hawaiian one, though... (laughs)

Above all, the horses were great, and the danger level was zero (☆∀☆). My wife, who doesn't like animals, was able to pet them normally and felt comfortable! If you sign a waiver for accidents beforehand, you can ride without a helmet (laughs). This explanation was a bit complicated, though...

It was truly a wonderful experience that made me feel like I had the great outdoors all to myself and made me love horses even more!

逆に本場感があります。
お客も私たち二人ともう一組で貸し切り状態でした☆
ハワイと言うよりウエスタン感が強めですが…(笑)

何より馬たちがいいコで

As a commemoration of our honeymoon, we decided to give it a try! Before flying, I was quite timid (wondering why I made the reservation, haha). I was really anxious about the fear of dying or having an accident, but once we actually went, there were many Japanese participants, and the bus driver was fluent in Japanese, which made me feel at ease while diving!

However, since it was my first time overseas, I thought it would have been better to prepare tips in advance and learn more beforehand to avoid any last-minute rush. (It's also written on the voucher, so it's a good idea to read it carefully.)

【Things to Prepare in Advance】
1. Comfortable clothing (jeans, athletic shoes)

2. A copy of your passport
→ It's risky to lose the original.

3. A credit card
→ You need to choose either photo or video fees. Both are also acceptable. I chose the outside camera (where a photographer jumps with you to take pictures), which cost $141 per person.

4. Tips (about $50 per person)
→ The typical tip is around $10 for the driver, $10-$20 for the photographer, and $10-$20 for the instructor.
*Of course, if the service is good, you can give more!

Since my husband and I both jumped, we gave a total of about $100 in cash to each of them.
*The tips for the photographer and instructor were placed in a box at a designated area, so we didn't hand them directly!

Also, for the locker to store your belongings, you need four quarters (25 cents each), but there is a change machine, so if you have a $1 bill, you'll be fine! 😊

ハネムーンに来た記念で、挑戦してみました♪
飛ぶ前は、臆病なので(なんで予約したw)
死ぬ恐怖というか、事故に合わないか不安で仕方なかったんですが、
実際行ってみると、日本人の参加者も多くて、バスの運転手さんが日本語が堪能で、安心してダイビングすることができました♪

ただ、慣れない海外なので、チップを用意したり、事前にもっと知っておけば、バタバタせずに済んだかなーと思う点があったので、まとめます。
(バウチャー(予約票)にも書いてあるので、よく読んでおいた方がいいです)


【事前用意しておくと良いもの】
①動きやすい服装(ジーパン、運動靴)

②パスポートのコピー
→原本は無くすと危ないので。

③クレジットカード
→写真代、ビデオ代でどちらかは選ばないといけないので。両方も可。
私は、アウトサイドカメラ(カメラマンが一緒に飛んで撮ってくれる)だったので、1人当たり141＄しました。


④チップ(1人当たり、～50＄程)
→チップは、
運転手(10＄～)、カメラマン(10～20＄)、インストラクター(10～20＄)が相場だそうです。
※もちろんサービスが良ければもっと出しても良いと思います！

私は夫婦で飛んだので、合計で100＄程キャッシュ(現金)でそれぞれに渡しました。
※カメラマン、インストラクターさんのチップは、投票所のような場所に案内されて箱にいれたので、直接渡すわけではないです！

あと、荷物入れのロッカーですが、
25セント×4枚必要なのですが、両替機もあるので、1＄札があれば大丈夫ですよ♪(^^)

Incredible experience start to finish. Kim at check-in was helpful and friendly. Shawn our pilot, was knowledgeable and very reassuring. His obvious experience and friendly demeanor made the flight enjoyable. Thank you for a most memorable flight.

This was my second or third horseback riding experience in life. I was a bit worried about riding for two hours, but the horse was smart and followed the horse in front of it perfectly. There were six of us in the group this time. I was told not to let the horse eat grass, so I pulled the reins a few times when it seemed like it wanted to lower its head, but it responded well to my signals to move right or left, which was impressive. We encountered some hills and even crossed a small stream, but I managed to ride without any issues. The problem was that after about an hour, my backside started to hurt. I tried to shift my weight to my toes to cope, but it was a bit uncomfortable. However, the scenery was beautiful, especially with views of the ocean. It seemed that the location had been used in many movies, and although I had watched a promotional video on TV beforehand, there weren't many signs on-site, and the staff only provided limited information.

Since there was no tour scheduled in the 9 AM slot, I signed up for the 11 AM tour, but the pickup was only at 6:50 AM. I arrived after 8 AM, so I had to wait for nearly three hours. The return trip felt like it was based on gathering enough people for one bus after check-in. During the free time, I could only go to the beach nearby, check out the horses, or visit snack spots and souvenir shops, which was a bit boring.

I wish there had been more buses scheduled to match the tour times. However, I was glad to have the experience of riding a horse in such an extraordinary setting.

人生２度目か３度目の乗馬体験。２時間も乗って回れるのかと少し心配しながらの参加。しかし、馬のほうがお利口で、ちゃんと前の馬の後についって言ってくれる。今回は６名での一行となった。草は食べさせないでといわれていたので、首を下げそうになった時は手綱を引っ張り、やめさせる行動を３回ほどしたものの、右に動いたり左へという合図にもほんの少しでちゃんと動いてくれて感動。のぼりや下り坂、果ては小さな小川を渡るというところもあったものの無事に乗ることができた。問題は１時間もしないくらいのところでお尻が痛くなったこと。足先に力を入れてみたりと、だましだましでの乗馬となった。しかし、海が見えるところなどもあり景色は良かった。ロケ地としては、たくさんの映画に使われているようで、事前に、テレビでの紹介ビデオが流れているところで予習をしていたものの、現地ではさほどたくさんの看板があるわけでもなく、スタッフの人がいくつかは教えてくれる程度。

その日は９時台は予定されていなかったので、１１時発のツアーに申し込んだが、迎えは６時５０分の１本だけ。８時過ぎには着いたので、３時間近くも待ち時間があった。帰りはバスのチェックインがすんで１台分人数が集まったら出発という感じであった。空いた時間は海が近くにあるので、海岸まで行ったり馬を近くに見に行ったり、軽食をとる場所やお土産屋さんを見たりくらいの過ごし方しかできず、少し退屈であった。

お迎えのバスがツアーの出時刻に合わせていくつか用意してあればいいなと思った。しかし、非日常の馬に乗って回るという体験ができたことはよかった。

I participated in the canyon horseback riding. I was a bit worried about staying on for 90 minutes without falling off, but I had no problems and enjoyed it thoroughly. The hungry horses took a detour to eat grass right away, but when I pulled the reins, they came back nicely. The 90 minutes flew by, and I would love to participate again if I get the chance.

The garlic shrimp for lunch was different from what I had eaten the last time I visited; it was a bento with shrimp. I was a bit disappointed by that. The time spent at Dole Plantation was short, and it felt more like a bathroom break at a drive-in. I felt like it might not have been necessary. A leisurely lunch in Haleiwa would have been better.

I chose the horseback riding at Kualoa Ranch offered by the travel agency because it was bundled with other attractions, thinking it would be simpler. The horseback riding was fun, but the other activities felt unimportant. I understand now that a tour focused solely on horseback riding wouldn't be feasible. I'll keep this in mind for next time. 渓谷乗馬に参加しました。
90分落ちないでいられるか、少し心配でしたが、全く問題なく楽しく参加できました。
食いしん坊なお馬さん達は、直ぐに草を食べに寄り道しましたが、手綱をひくとちゃんと戻ってくれました。
90分があっという間で、また機会があったら参加したいです。
ランチのガーリックシュリンプは、以前行ったときに食べたものとは違い、エビ入り弁当でした。
これには少しがっかりでした。
ドールプランテーションも滞在時間が短くて、ドライブインでトイレ休憩みたいな感じでした。無くてもよかったような気がします。
ハレイワでゆっくりランチの方がいいですね。
旅行社オプショナルのクアロア牧場の乗馬が、他のアトラクションとセットだったので、こちらの方がシンプルかなと思い選びました。
乗馬は楽しかったのですが、他はどうでもいい感じでした。
乗馬だけのオプショナルツアーは成り立たないのだと理解しました。
次回の参考にします。

I found the driver/tour guide annoying and condescending. When telling us the time limits he could have scripted better like i.e." we're on a tight schedule and we only have 10 mins on this site so please be back at (state the exact time). He's so full of himself and very scattered with his stories and facts. He didn't even know Hawaii's state bird, he said the white crane. He kept on showing his arm muscles and his jokes were not even funny. He kept on singing, he could just have played any Hawaiian music, he also took jabs at other driver/tour guides.

There was no explanation of the location, and it was just a matter of following behind. It was disappointing because it was so much fun the last time I used the service.

ロケーション場所の説明もなく、ただただ後ろをついて行くだけの乗馬。以前利用した時はそんな事なく、楽しかったのに残念。

There was no feeling of floating at all; it felt like flying, and the views of the sea and mountains were beautiful, with a rainbow perfectly arched in the sky, creating a stunning sight. The instructors and photographers were also very cheerful and made the experience enjoyable.

浮遊感は一切なく飛んでるような感じで、海と山の景色が綺麗で虹もちょうどかかってて絶景でした。インストラクターやカメラマンの人たちも楽しませてくれるような感じで陽気な人が多かったです。

In addition to horseback riding, I was able to spend a meaningful day visiting the Dole Plantation and Haleiwa Town.

At the Dole Plantation, there wasn't much time to stay, so I could only do a light stroll and some shopping at the shop.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to see any sea turtles.

In Haleiwa Town, I had garlic shrimp for lunch. It was plump and delicious. Since the town isn't very large, I enjoyed walking around the shops and strolling with a coffee in hand.

Horseback riding by the beach was refreshing and fun. All the horses are smart, so I think even beginners can enjoy riding.

I was disappointed by some misinformation regarding horseback riding. The website and voucher mentioned that there would be free lockers available at the riding area, so I planned to store my valuables like my camera in a locker. However, there were no lockers, and the guide told me to keep my valuables with me, which made me anxious. I recommend bringing a small bag, like a waist pouch, to hold your valuables.

乗馬の他に、ドールプランテーションやハレイワタウンの観光も付いていて有意義に一日を過ごす事が出来ました。

ドールプランテーションでは滞在時間がそんなにないので、軽い散策とショップでの買い物くらいしかできませんでした。

ウミガメは残念ながら見られませんでした。

ハレイワタウンでは、ガーリックシュリンプを昼食に食べました。
ぷりぷりでおいしかったです。
そんなに広くない街なので、歩いてショップめぐりをしたり、コーヒーを片手に散策したりと楽しめました。

海辺での乗馬は気持ちがよく、楽しかったです。
どの馬もかしこいので、初心者でも乗馬が楽しめると思います。

乗馬に関して、事前の情報違いがあり残念でした。
「乗馬場では鍵のかかるロッカー（無料）がございます」との説明文がホームページやバウチャーに記載されていたので、カメラなど貴重品をロッカー預けようと思っていましたが、実際にはロッカーは無く、ガイドに自分で貴重品を持つように言われて焦りました。
ウエストポーチなど、貴重品を入れられる小さめのバッグを持って行くことをお勧めします。
