Our tour guide Justin picked us up promptly outside our hotel when expected. He was very laid-back and friendly. We had a small group of 10. The bike ride was wonderful!! I would recommend it to everyone. Justin pointed out the must-see beaches (Pipeline, Sunset, Waimea) and north shore roadside eateries. North shore was unbelievable, unlike anything I've ever experienced. On the second half of the tour, we rode paddle boards which was also a blast! It was quite an upper body workout and was inexpensive too. Justin was very knowledgeable about the history of HI and kept us entertained during the drive. I would highly suggest everyone take this tour!

This was fantastic - recommended by friends, enjoyed by us parents and the teenagers.

The dinner was great, with foods I've never heard of living in the lower 48. The shows are well done, and very unique.

I've never seen anything like it, and if I have the opportunity, I will certainly return.

The first ride of 2009 was on January 2 at Gunstock Ranch on Oahu. We drove from Waikiki via H1 → R63 → R83 heading north, passed the Polynesian Cultural Center, and just a few minutes further on the left, we saw the sign for Gunstock Ranch. It takes a little over an hour from Waikiki. On the way, we stopped by Cloverleaf Ranch. Two summers ago, my family of four, including the kids, had our first trekking ride there, which made it a memorable ranch for us. After that, my husband and I started attending lessons at the riding club Crane, where we experience ups and downs in a small arena while practicing canter.

Oahu has a couple of beginner-friendly trekking options, but Gunstock Ranch offers an advanced trail ride, which we eagerly signed up for. Due to poor conditions from the rain the day before, we were suggested to switch to a safer scenic ride. However, after discussing our riding experience with our young and cute guide Stephanie, who had a wonderful smile, we were allowed to canter in a safe area. TAKA had just ridden 15 kilometers along the coastline at Frontier Riding Club in Hokkaido last fall. However, for MAMI, who was on her first outdoor ride, it started with a trot, but by the second and third times, she was able to do a more dynamic canter, which was a thrilling experience compared to the small arena.

The group that rode before us consisted of a mix of three and two people, and it seemed they were trekking at a beginner's pace. They likely make efforts to accommodate as many requests as possible for the riding tour based on group composition and negotiations. I am especially grateful to Stephanie, our guide this time!

2009年の初乗りは1月2日オアフ島のガンストック牧場でした。ワイキキからレンタカーでH1→R63→R83と経由北上し、ポリネシアンカルチャーセンターを過ぎさらに北上、5分も行かないところに左手にガンストック牧場の看板があります。ワイキキから１時間ちょっとってとこでしょうか。行きに途中クロレア牧場に立ち寄りました。2年前の夏、子供たちとともに家族4人で初トレッキング常歩乗馬し、乗馬にはまった記念すべき牧場です。その後、乗馬クラブのクレインに夫婦で通い狭い馬場で駈歩のレッスンに一喜一憂しています。オアフの乗馬ツアーは初心者向けのポコポコトレッキングは２~３ありますが、ガンストック牧場はアドバンスド・トレイル・ライドがあり勇んで申し込みました。前日の雨による悪コンディションのため、安全なシーニック･ライドへの変更を提案されましたが、とっても若くてキュートで笑顔の素敵な女性ガイドのステファニーに乗馬経験を話し、セーフティーな場所でキャンター（駈歩）ＯＫってことになりました。TAKAは昨秋北海道のフロンティア乗馬クラブで海岸線を15キロ走ってきたところです。しかし初外乗のMAMIは最初トロット（速歩）でしたが、２回目３回目とどんどんダイナミックなキャンターが出て狭い馬場との違いに感動充実の時間となりました。私たちの前の時間に乗馬したグループは３＋２人の２組の混合でしたが、ビギナーのペースでのトレッキングだったようです。グループ編成と交渉次第で可能な限りの希望通りの乗馬ツアーの実現に努力してくれるのでしょう。とくに今回ガイドをしてくれたステファニーには大感謝ですっ♪

What an AMAZING experience. Sharks close enough to touch! Definitely the highlight of our trip!

It was my first time riding a horse, but it was a well-trained horse, so it walked on its own without me having to do anything. It was such a cute horse.

乗馬は初めてでしたが、よく教育された馬なので何もしなくても歩いてくれました。とってもかわいい馬でした。

I was opposed by my family and looked at strangely by my colleagues, wondering, "Am I weird?" but I followed my heart that said, "I want to fly!" and went for it. In the end, I am filled with the feeling that it was great to fly. For me, the joy and satisfaction come even stronger after returning home than right after the jump. During free fall, the strong wind and noise make it hard to enjoy the scenery, but once the parachute opens, I was able to leisurely enjoy the beautiful sea and mountains of Hawaii. Watching others descend while waiting below is also impressive. It was quite cold between the plane and free fall, especially in winter! (Someone who participated with me said, "You seem calm. I didn't feel anything because I was so nervous.") If you're sensitive to the cold, I recommend wearing a long-sleeved, slightly thicker shirt. Also, the impact upon landing is stronger than expected, so those with knee issues should be careful. Some people enjoyed landing on their bottoms, but their pants ended up quite wet and dirty. I participated on the last day of my stay in Hawaii, during a winter when the weather can change quickly, but fortunately, the rain that fell in the morning stopped, and it turned into a beautiful day (actually, that afternoon, there was a storm-like rain, and everything was canceled). I didn't feel scared, and thanks to that, it became an invaluable memory as I approach my 40s. I sincerely thank the divers and staff who provided a safe and enjoyable skydiving experience! Thank you!

家族からは反対され、会社の同僚からは奇異な目で見られ、『わたしってヘン？』と思いながら、それでも『飛んでみたい！』という自分の心に従って飛んでみました。結果、飛んでよかった、という気持ちで一杯です。私の場合、飛んだ直後よりこうして自宅に帰ってからのほうが、喜び、満足感がより強くこみ上げてくる感じです。フリーフォールはすごい風と音でクルクルまわりながらあまり景色を楽しむ余裕はありませんが、パラシュートが開いてからゆったりとハワイの美しい海と山々を楽しむことができました。下で待っている間も、他の人たちが次々と降りてくるのを見るのも圧巻ですよ。冬とあってさすがに飛行機の中とフリーフォールの間は寒い！です（一緒に参加した人からは、『冷静ですね~。私は（緊張して）ぜんぜん感じませんでした』と言われましたが）。寒さに弱い方は、長袖の少し厚めのシャツを着ることをお勧めします。また、着地の際は思ったより衝撃が強いのでひざなどに故障がある方は要注意。お尻からの着地を楽しんでいる方もいましたが、結構ズボンがぬれたりよごれていたりしていました。ハワイ滞在最終日に、それも天気の変わりやすい冬に参加しましたが、朝降っていた雨もやんで好天となり幸運でした（実際、その日の午後は嵐のような雨となりすべてキャンセルとなったそうです）。私は怖さも感じず、おかげで40歳台最後のかけがえのない思い出になりました。安全で楽しいスカイダイビングを体験させていただいたダイバー、スタッフの方々に心から感謝します！ありがとうございました！

On Christmas Day, the only place where horseback riding was available was Gunstock Ranch. Although the prices were elevated for the holiday, considering the Christian culture, it was quite appreciated.

There was no shuttle service from the hotel, so we rented a car with a navigation system and challenged ourselves to drive on the right side for the first time. The navigation guided us to our destination without any issues when we entered the address, and by being mindful of the central lane always being on the left, we found that driving wasn't too different from Japan. (I felt it was convenient to have the postal code handy since the navigation I used didn't have a search function by phone number, etc.)

Now, regarding the horseback riding, besides our family of four, there were also four family members from California and two couples participating.

The owner of Gunstock Ranch led the way, with his wife at the midpoint and his daughter (around elementary school age) bringing up the rear as we set off.

It was the first time for my husband, daughter, and son to ride horses, but there were no issues at all. The very smart horses followed commands for right, left, and gallop, taking us along nicely.

While it's common to see guides leading horses in enclosed areas, riding through the great outdoors while enjoying the scenery was truly delightful.

All instructions were in English, but they were easy to understand. We had a lot of fun participating.

I highly recommend it!

クリスマスの25日に唯一、乗馬が可能だったのがガンストック牧場でした。クリスマス料金になっていたのでコストパフォーマンスが良いとはいえませんでしたが、クリスチャンのお国柄を考えれば、ありがたいことしきりです。

ホテルとの送迎はありませんので、ナビ付きレンタカーを借り、初めての右側車線にもチャレンジ。
ナビは、住所の入力で目的地まで問題なく案内してくれましたし、常に左側に中央車線があることを意識して運転をすると、以外と日本と変わらずに運転ができます。
（ナビの利用には、郵便番号を控えておくと便利だと感じました。私が利用したナビは、電話番号などでの検索機能がなかったので･･･）

さて、肝心の乗馬ですが、私たち４人家族以外にも、４名のカリフォルニアから来た家族と、２名のカップルが参加していました。

ガンストック牧場のご主人が先導し、中間地点に奥さん、そして一番後ろには、娘さん（小学校中学年ぐらい）が付いて出発です。

主人、娘、息子は馬に乗るのは初めてでしたが、何の問題もなく、とても賢い馬は、右・左・ギャロップなどの指示に従ってちゃんと私たちを乗せてくれました。

柵の中で、管理者が引き馬をしてくれるケースはよく見ますが、大自然の中、景色を楽しみながらのお散歩乗馬、とても気持ちが良かったです。

説明は全て英語ですが、十分に聞き取りは可能です。
楽しく参加することができました。

Nothing is more fun than this show on Hawaii. Loved it completely, excellent arrangements, very good timings for each show so that you will not miss a single one, excellent staffs and lastly superb shows..kudos to them.
If you have time, also take the temple trip and visit the church.

We saw at least three whales in one spot where they were congregating. Such a majestic animal. The captain was funny and informative. The boat is well maintained and in a good shape. I totally recommend this one.

The Polynesian Cultural Center was a great experience! We rented a car and went for the day rather than booking a tour. The Samoan presentation was very funny as well as a learning experience as all presentations are! We were able to try some of the things that we learned from the presentations. Our kids loved collecting the stamps, and the prize at the end. It was an enriching experience that I recommend all to try at least once. We did not attend a luau on property, so I cannot relay any recommendations for that.

This was awesome

A chance to do something like this comes along very infrequently, so take advantage. This is cool, even if you don't go in the cage, to see a dozen or more sharks swimming around the boat is awesome.

This is my second time on the tour and definitely won't be my last. Great time and amazing experience.

This tour was awesome! It was a moment of a lifetime!

I get very sea sick so I made sure to prepare which was a VERY good idea. I took meclazine the day before and then that morning about an hour before leaving. I took the first tour which is the calmest and clearest time. It definitly paid off because we had three people that were turning green on the boat.

Finding sharks was no problem. They came right up to the boat HUNGRY!! When it was your turn to get in it was amazing! It was scarier to see them above the water than when you got in. The water was so amazingly blue! The sharks were so gracefull and you didn't see any of the scariness you do from outside of the water.

I just wish that my expensive underwater camera worked!! None of my pictures turned out! I still have the moment and picture in my mind forever but I wanted to share it with others.

Do not miss this tour!! No mater how nervous you are if you event want to do this a little you should not

I went alone...but it was all the worth while! I highly recommend this experience...and it is an experience. They have two sides of plexiglass on the cage and when your in the water it feels like you are swimming right next to them! All the excitement and enjoyment of swimming with sharks! Spend the money, take the time, do whatever you need to do to fit this in! And the location outside of the tourist traps was also a plus!

I tried skydiving for the first time! I’m not great with heights, but it was more fun than I expected, and the rainbow I saw from 4,000 meters up was absolutely beautiful.

The weather was unstable, so we had some delays in jumping that day, but ultimately, I was able to enjoy the amazing views in clear skies. Depending on the instructor, some can be quite enthusiastic, and after opening the parachute, they might spin around a bit too much, which can make you feel a little queasy. Fortunately, my instructor was just right, and I felt perfectly fine.

I wanted photos and videos, but they were too expensive, so I gave up on that. On the way back, since we had some time left, we also did a little sightseeing. I can’t forget the taste of the shrimp I had during that time! Thank you, driver Komiya!

初めてスカイダイビングにチャレンジしました！
高いところは苦手でしたが予想以上に楽しく上空４０００ｍから見た虹はとてもきれいでした。
天気が不安定だったため、その日はなかなかすんなり飛べませんでしたが、最終的には雲のない状態ですばらしい景色を満喫できました。
インストラクターにもよりますが、サービス精神旺盛な人だとパラシュートを開いたあとクルクル回転してくれすぎて少し気分が悪くなる時もあるようです。ちなみに私のインストラクターは程よい感じで全然大丈夫でした。
写真やビデオは欲しかったんですが高すぎて断念しました。。
帰りには時間が残っているということで、プチ観光もしていただきました。その時に食べたシュリンプの味が忘れられません！ドライバーのＫomiyaさんありがとうございました！！

Was not a full half day tour. Not enough time to see most attractions. Dinner and show only. Upgrade to prime rib/seafood buffet does not include luau setting. Shell lei was not as good as a flowered lei and no rememberance picture taken. Food and show were excellant.

My most memorable moments of O'ahu! Had a wonderful time!

Very nice, but would have been nice to have our meal and THEN enjoy entertainment (singing, dancing) as it took too long and didn't allow anytime to visit the villages for anyone who may have finished their meal and want to see the center more than the canoe ride. Horizons was awesome!

The staff was friendly, and we were able to have a great time. By the way, besides us, everyone else was from Western countries, which allowed us to fully enjoy the foreign atmosphere.

スタッフの対応もフレンドリーで、楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。ちなみに我々の他は、すべて欧米系の人たちで、外国気分を満喫できました。

This was great and well worth the money. I would have liked to stay longer in a couple of areas and there were some activities that we didn't get to do because of time. I would suggest taking snacks or packing a picnic as you really didn't have time to buy a lunch. At a couple of the attractions you were offered ice cream to buy, but not anything more substantial. Both the dinner entertainment and the Polynesian show after dinner were awesome. Going back a 2nd time, I would go on my own and wander.

My family and I absolutely loved visiting the Polynesian Cultural Center while in Oahu. I highly recommend spending the extra money and getting the Ambassador All day package. You will get a very personal tour guide (we had Diliana and she was awesome!) of all the Polynesian villages. My husband gets bored pretty easily and not ONCE did he get restless during the entire day. You are kept well entertained and learn a lot about the Polynesian cultures. The luau and the food was great, and the Night Show was fantastic! Very high energy and entertaining. I highly recommend visiting the PCC !

We were surprised how many sharks we actually saw on this tour!! The staff was very friendly and informative. For those who (like me) do not like scuba diving, this activity only requires snorkeling. Just a tip: If you get any bit seasick, I would not recommend this for you unless you take a high dose of anti-motion sickness medicine before going. Both my husband and I got seasick and lost our lunch while doing the tour. Keep in mind, you are on North Shore with all the big waves and will be on a small boat getting tossed around for at least 2 hours. Overall a great adventure and highly recommended!

I had always wanted to try horseback riding, so I finally decided to participate this time. The scenery at Kualoa Ranch was breathtaking, and it felt like I was in a scene from a movie. It was my first time riding, and I was a bit intimidated by the size of the horse, but I was assigned the calmest and gentlest horse. (The staff selects a horse that matches each person's body type and personality. I think I got a gentle horse because I was really scared.) The horse I rode, Very-chan, was truly smart and very cute, and by the end of the two-hour ride, we had become great friends. My friends, Cookie-chan and Chako-chan, who joined me, were also very calm, smart, and adorable.

I was surprised to jump straight into horseback riding with just a simple explanation in broken Japanese, but the horse was calm, and I quickly felt at ease. I definitely recommend the two-hour course. (I'm sure one hour wouldn't be enough...) Also, be sure to wear long pants and sneakers. The two-hour course runs from the afternoon to the evening, so it might be good to have a long-sleeved outer layer as well.

乗馬は以前からとてもしてみたかったので、今回思い切って参加してみました。クアロア牧場の景色は絶景で、まるでわたしも映画のワンシーンにいるようでした。乗馬は初めてで、馬の大きさにビビっていましたが、私には一番おとなしく優しい馬がわりあてられました。(馬はスタッフの方がその人に合った体型、性格のうまを選んでくれます。私はすごく怖がっていたので、性格のおとなしい馬になったのだと思います。)私がのったヴェリーちゃんは本当お利口さんでとってもかわいくて2時間の乗馬のうちにすっかり仲良しになりました。一緒に参加した友達のクッキーちゃんも、チャコちゃんもとってもおとなしく、お利口さんで可愛かったです。
片言の日本語で簡単なたずなの説明でいきなり乗馬だったのでびっくりしましたが、馬はおとなしくすぐ安心できました。絶対に2時間コースをお勧めします。（きっと1時間ではものたりないのでは.....）と、必ず長ズボンとスニーカー。2時間コースは昼過ぎから夕方にかけてなので長袖のはおりものもあるといいかと思います。

It was a trip with three friends for four days (actually three days). One of the memories from that trip was booking a skydiving experience at Pacific Skydiving Center two days before the trip after a big decision. I was full of anxiety, but the day itself was incredibly fulfilling and satisfying!!

Mr. KOMIYA, who provided our transportation, was the best staff member we encountered during our trip and someone we will never forget. He felt like a father figure in Hawaii. Surrounded by staff who were unique and helped ease our tension during the skydiving experience, it was definitely a tour we will come back to next time we visit Hawaii.

Awesome but expensive for what it was ...... 113$ for 2x15mn of boat and only 20mn in the cage with sharks, too short....

On the afternoon of the day we arrived, we participated in a two-hour horseback riding tour starting at 3 PM on September 17. This was our first trip to Hawaii as a couple for our wedding and honeymoon. We didn't want to waste our first day, so we found this tour. My husband, who was riding a horse for the first time, was anxious because he didn't understand the language, but the horse guides you, so it's fine even for beginners. I could speak a little English, so I enjoyed listening to various stories. It does get a bit painful on the backside, but the horse takes you through paths you wouldn't expect. We even encountered some animals along the way. Being surrounded by the sound of the wind and rustling trees is something you don't experience often. The sea and greenery were incredibly beautiful. We didn't get bored during the waiting time because there were dogs, cats, and pigs to play with. There are staff members who can speak some Japanese, which is reassuring. The shuttle service is very appreciated. In the shop, there were figures from the popular overseas drama "LOST." You can't ride the horse with a bag, so you have to leave it behind. I thought it would have been nice to have something like a belly bag that is not visible from the outside for valuables. They also take photos at various points along the way. Recently, I heard from a friend living in Hawaii that a couple had their wedding at this ranch. It's that wonderful of a place. We even talked about wanting to participate again, as there seem to be places you can only visit on a full-day tour!

着いたその日の午後、15時からの乗馬2時間コースに9月17日参加しました。結婚式＋新婚旅行で夫婦共々初めてのハワイです。着いたその日を無駄にしたくなくて見つけたツアーがこれでした。馬に初めて乗る主人は言葉もわからないので不安がっておりましたが、馬が誘導してくれるので初めての人でも大丈夫ですよ。私は多少英語が話せたので様々な話が聞けて楽しかったです。お尻は痛くなりますが、こんな道を通るの？ってところを馬は進みます。途中で動物も出てきたりします。風と木々が揺れる音の中に身を置くってあまり経験できないことですよね。海や緑がとにかくキレイでした。待ち時間も飽きることなく、犬や猫に豚がいたので遊んでました。言葉は多少日本語の話せるスタッフもいるので安心です。送迎があるのは非常に有難いですね。Shopには最近話題の海外ドラマ『LOST』のフィギュアとかがあったりします。バッグを身につけて馬には乗れませんので預けるようになります。貴重品を身につける外から見えない腹巻バッグみたいなモノがあったら良かったかもと思いました。途中のポイントで写真も撮ってくれます。先日ハワイ在住の友人からここの牧場で結婚式を挙げたご夫婦がいたと聞きました。それ位、素敵なところです。1日ツアーじゃないと行けない場所もあるようなのでまた参加したいねと主人と言ってた程です♪
