This may have been the only time, but all the participants except for us were from the mainland United States. Therefore, there was almost no support in Japanese, and even for us, who are not too uncomfortable with English, we ended up not understanding much of the content. If we had knowledge of constellations, we might have understood better. However, I thought it was a valuable experience to be able to see Saturn and other planets through the telescope. Also, at the end, they gave us a photo as a gift.

今回だけかもしれませんが、参加者は私たち以外、全員アメリカ本土からの方たちばかりでした。
ですので、日本語でのフォローもほとんどなく、英語にそれほど不自由しない私たちでも内容があまり理解できずに終わりました。
星座の知識があれば理解できたかもしれませんが。
ただ、土星などは望遠鏡で見ることができて、貴重な体験だったと思いました。また、最後に写真をプレゼントしてくれました。

I was unsure which course to choose, but I decided on this one based on everyone's reviews. I had a great time all day, and I think it was good that meals were included. I was worried about the bad weather, but I was able to see the second performance on the boat, and especially the staff on the boat made it a lot of fun, so it became a wonderful memory.

一日中楽しめましたし、食事も付いてたしよかったと思います。
あいにくの空模様で心配してたのですが、船の上で二次も見ることができ、特に船のスタッフの方がいろいろ楽しませてくれたのでとてもいい思い出になりました。

The sunset was amazing, but the captain's talk was also fantastic and really lively. It became a wonderful memory, and I'm glad I participated. Also, the purple sweet potato burger was very delicious. Which shop was it from? Thank you very much.

Overall, we enjoyed the trip. Staff was great! However, the snorkel spot was crowded with lots of other groups. It felt like you were bumping into people the whole time. We saw some turtles, but there wasn't much else to see. Also, the parking instructions are unclear. All it said was they validate in the garage, so I parked in the obvious giant garage. But they don't validate in that one (the Hale Koa). They only validate in the Hilton Garage which is harder to find. I hope they aren't unclear on purpose...that cost an extra $39!

My friend and I, who are not young anymore, took on this challenge thinking it would be our first and last time, and it was the best (though my family seemed quite worried). No matter how old we get, we want to do what we love!

Five years ago, I experienced a one-hour horseback riding course, but this time I tried the two-hour course. Of course, the price was different, but the route was completely different and the scenery was beautiful; this time was far better. I would have been more satisfied if I could have had a light canter on the flat paths, like in the marking video, but that was a bit disappointing.

5年前に1時間コースの乗馬を体験しましたが、今回は2時間コースを体験しました。もちろん価格も違いましたがルートが全く違い景色も良く、今回の方が遥かに良かったです。マーキングビデオのように、平坦な道では軽い駆け足をさせて貰えれば、もっと満足出来たのですが残念でした。

My wife and I attended the luau show. Before the show started, there were several events prepared, and we had a great time. At the same table, a couple from the mainland talked to us, and we had a nice interaction. The show was also very impressive and enjoyable. Thank you very much.

One of the reasons I wanted to go to Hawaii was to visit this place, but I could only make a reservation for January 1st, so I went by rental car. I was a bit anxious about driving, but the scenery along the way, with the North Shore coastline and the ocean, was incredibly beautiful. It took about an hour from Waikiki, but the zip line experience was amazing. We started with an easy zip line and gradually moved on to longer ones, reaching up to 800 meters, which was not scary at all and very enjoyable. The longest zip line offered a fantastic view of the North Shore ocean from a high point. I was able to get some great photos while zip lining. I participated with older children, and we all had a great time without any issues. The instructions were all in English, so there were a few things I didn't fully understand, but since the process was the same each time, it wasn't a problem. On the way back, we also stopped by Giovanni's, famous for its garlic shrimp, which became one of my best memories.

ハワイに行く目的の一つとしてここに行きたかったのですが、予約が１月１日しかとれず、レンタカーで行きました。レンタカーで行くのは不安でしたが、道中でノースショアの海岸や海に向けて広がる景色がすごく綺麗でよかったです。ワイキキからは１時間程度かかりましたが、ジップラインが最高でした。最初は簡単なジップラインから徐々に長いものに行き800メートルのところに行くので全然怖くなく楽しめました。最長のジップラインは高台からノースショアの海が見える最高の景色でした。そこでジップライン中の写真を撮っていただき最高の写真もゲットできました。高学年の子供連れで参加しましたが、問題なく楽しめました。説明はすべて英語なのでちょっとわからないところもありましたが、毎回やり方は同じなので、問題ないかなと。帰りにガーリックシュリンプの有名なジョバンニにもよれて最高の思い出の一つになりました。

On the day of the event, we were informed that the mountain trail was dangerous, so we had to decide whether to take half of the course or cancel. Considering the return bus, we decided to cancel. Instead, we rode go-karts. It was fun in its own way, but I ended up covered in mud, which I hadn't planned for, and it caused a lot of trouble afterward.

帰りのバスのこともあったので、キャンセルしました。
その代わりにカートに乗りました。
それはそれで楽しかったのですが、身体全身が泥だらけになり、予定してなかったのでその後すごく困りました。

We participated as a three-generation family, from ages 9 to 72. On the day of the tour, we went directly to the site by rental car and checked in. We chose this tour because other tours had age restrictions that would separate our family. It was great to explore a wide area for 1.5 hours and enjoy the grandeur of nature. The explanations were all in English, but I think it's a good opportunity to participate as a chance to hear from a native speaker.

9歳から72歳まで3世代で参加しました。当日はレンタカーで直接現地に行き、チェックインしました。他のツアーでは、年齢制限から家族がバラバラになってしまうため、こちらを選びました。1.5時間 広範囲に回っていただき、自然の雄大さを堪能できて良かったです。解説は全て英語ですが、ネイティブの話を聞ける勉強の機会と思って参加すると良いと思います。

I couldn't see any fish, let alone sea turtles. Everyone got bored and quickly went back on the boat, just cruising for the remaining time. It wasn't interesting, and I was freezing. The best memory was seeing a wild seal on the beach before getting on the boat. I'm disappointed.

ウミガメどころか、魚もろくに見えませんでした。
みんなつまんないから早々に船に上がり、あと残った時間クルージングしてるだけです。面白くもないし、寒くて仕方ありませんでした。
船に乗る前に砂浜で野生のアザラシを見れたのが1番な思い出でした。がっかり。

The staff is very friendly, and I felt completely at ease even as a first-timer. You can truly feel the majestic mountain range of Oahu. However, two hours is quite long, and I found myself getting sleepy while riding due to jet lag.

とても親切で初めてでも全く不安なしですよ。壮大なオアフ島の山並みを感じれます。しかし、2時間はさすがに長く、時差ボケ中だと騎乗しながらも眠くなってしまいました。

We participated in a 150m parasailing experience with our family of five. We wore swimsuits and brought towels, our phones, $50 for tips, a GoPro, and credit cards in a beach bag. At the reception, we each signed in, and when it was time, we boarded the boat. Before us, the people who finished their experience gave tips at the end, but we handed the captain a tip of $50 at the time of boarding, expecting better service. We calculated $10 per person, totaling $50 for five people. A trio of Chinese passengers who boarded with us also gave some tips. There was a $20 bill labeled as a tip in the driver's seat, so I thought it was a reasonable amount.

The three Chinese passengers experienced it first. They asked me to film with their phone, so my second daughter, who is good at filming, took care of it. We split into two groups of two and three, so we filmed each other. My eldest daughter secured the GoPro to her wrist and filmed her experience as well. During the experience, we stored our belongings and shoes in the storage area under the boat. The captain also took many photos. After the experience, he showed us the photos, and if we liked them, we could purchase them for $40. He sent the data to our smartphones and gave us an SD card. We bought them as a memento of our trip. During the experience, we went up quite high, which was thrilling, but the view from the 360-degree perspective was amazing! We also made the customary landing on the water, getting a little wet, but we ended up not using the towels. Even in January, you can go into the sea, and it was a recommended activity.

家族５人で150ｍのパラセイリングに参加しました。
水着を来て、タオル、携帯、チップ用の50＄、ゴープロ、クレジットカードをビーチバッグに入れて持参しました。受付で各自サインをして、時間になったら乗船。私達の前に体験を終えた方は最後にチップを渡していましたが、私達はより良いサービスを期待して乗船時にキャプテンにチップを渡しました。1人10＄の計算で5人分で50＄渡しました。一緒に乗船した中国人の３人組もいくらかチップを渡していました。運転席の所にチップと書いて20＄挟んであったので、妥当な金額かなと思います。
最初に中国人の３人が体験。携帯で動画の撮影を頼まれたので、撮影の得意な次女が対応しました。私達は2人と3人で分かれて体験したのでお互いに撮影しました。長女はゴープロを手首に固定して体験動画も撮ってました。体験中は荷物と靴を船の下の荷物置きに入れておきます。キャプテンも沢山写真を撮ってくれます。その写真は体験後に見せてくれて、気に入れば４０＄で購入、スマホにデータ送信してくれ、ＳＤカードももらえます。私達は旅の記念に購入しました。体験中は、結構な高さまで上がるのでドキドキしましたが、360度の視界から見渡す景色は最高でした！お決まりの水面への着地もしてくれて、少し濡れましたが、結局タオルは使用しなかったです。1月でも海に入れますし、オススメのアクティビティでした。

All three of us were surfing for the first time, and there were people from various countries in the same group lesson. Since my family was the only Japanese group, I felt a bit lonely at first, but we had one instructor dedicated to just the three of us, and he was fluent in Japanese, so we were able to enjoy surfing without any worries. I would like to try again when I go to Hawaii. The water was clear, the sky was blue, and we had the best time.

３人とも初めてのサーフィンで、さまざまな国の方々が同じグループのレッスンに参加されており、日本人は私の家族だけだったので、最初は少し心細く感じていましたが、私たち３人に１人の先生が専任でついて下さり、先生も日本語が堪能な方でしたので、なんの心配もなくサーフィンを楽しむことができました。またハワイに出かけたら、再度チャレンジしてみたいと思います。
水もきれいで、空も青く、最高の時間を過ごすことができました。

I was a little late for the scheduled meeting time, but when I called to inform them, they said they would wait for 20 minutes. I made it just in time to sign the agreement. It was a one-hour course as planned. My family of six participated, along with two others at the same time, making a total of eight of us setting sail. We were divided into two groups of three for the parasailing. In no time, we were up in the blue sky. It was an experience of just under 10 minutes while enjoying the best views. I thought it would be a short time before the experience, but since it was my first time, 10 minutes was just right. Thank you very much.

少し予定の集合時間に遅れてしまいましたが、遅れる旨の電話を入れると20分は待ってくださるとのことでした。
無事、間に合って同意書にサイン。
予定通りの1時間のコースでした。家族6人で参加しましたが、同時間に2名の方と参加で、計8名で出航しました。
6名を3人ずつに分けて、パラセイルを装着。
あっという間に、青空へ。
最高の景色を楽しみながら約10分弱の体験でした。少ない時間だなあーと体験前は思っていましたが、初めてだったので、10分弱でちょうど良かったです。

After arriving on site as scheduled, the check-in process was smooth and stress-free. After watching the Japanese guidance video, we set off right away. The horses were well-behaved, and we enjoyed the scenery during the perfect two-hour ride. I have nothing to say but thank you for the wonderful time and views.

It might be the same everywhere, but I was forced to wear a buoy around my waist and was bombarded with English instructions. Even when I wanted to get out because it was cold, they wouldn’t let anyone leave until everyone was in the water. If I tried to get out from another spot, I was redirected. It was a terrible place. It would be better if there were Japanese staff present.

どこも同じようなものかも知れませんが、腰に、うき具を付けらされ、一方的に英語でまくし立てられ、寒いから上がろうとしても、全員水に入るまでは、上がらせない。別の所から上がろうとすると回らされる、最低な所でした。日本人スタッフが居るところが良いですね。

Snorkeling with Mickey was so much fun! It was good to see that he was enjoying it as much as we were, even though it’s something he’s done many times. He really knows how to make you feel at ease while in the water, even for first time or lesser experienced swimmers. The activity itself was very cool. We got to see some interesting animals at the ocean floor, such as sea cucumbers, sea urchins, and even some fish. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking of signing up for it, and for such a reasonable price too. Surprisingly the photo’s actually turned out quite well too.

The overall experience was simply amazing!
It was my first time parasailing and the crew was very helpful and made us comfortable.
The view from above was spectacular and I’d surely recommend anyone and everyone to go for it!

I participated in the celebration of my 60th birthday.
I attended with my wife.
It was my first time horseback riding, and I was a bit anxious, but once I started, the horse was very intelligent, and I felt a sense of unity and reassurance, which made me very happy and comfortable.

In the midst of the wonderful scenery, I had an amazing experience feeling like I could play freely with the horse.

乗馬は、初めてで少し不安もありましたが、乗り始めると、とても馬が利口で安心して一体感を感じるこができたのがうれしく気持ちよかったです。

The basics were very helpful, however, the limitations with life vests and the lack of actual sea life made it a little less of a good experience. Overall it was received well by the family and was fun enough.

The moment I floated up into the sky, the blue ocean spread out below me, and it was amazing! The weather was also great, and I could see Diamond Head beautifully. I think it's best to wear clothes that you don't mind getting wet, as you might get a little splashed.

One of the best adventures we did while in Hawaii. The staff was great, the history of the ranch was so exciting to learn about. It’s a must do while in Hawaii.We are still talking about our great times on vacation.

It takes about a 50-minute drive from Waikiki to arrive. There are various experience tours available, and it's a popular tourist destination visited by many. The horses provided are well-trained and walk in a line without needing any guidance. However, my horse seemed a bit stubborn and didn't move until the guide gave it a gentle tap on the rear. I had a great experience riding through the magnificent grounds surrounded by mountains, and we also passed near the seaside. The breeze from the ocean added to the feeling of being in nature.

ワイキキから車で50分のドライブで到着。いろんな体験ツアーが用意されており、沢山の観光客が訪れている観光地です。
用意されている馬は慣れており、何もしなくても列を作って歩いていきます。ただ、私の馬はひねくれ者のようで、引率者のおねーさんが馬のお尻を叩くまで、動きません。良い体験をしました、山に囲まれた壮大な敷地を乗馬しますが、海辺の近くも通ります。海からの風もあり、自然を感じました。

Since we were the first, we were thrown into the sea without a moment to catch our breath. Haha.

It became the best memory!

You can interact with dolphins a lot, touching and playing with them. However, the price is a bit high for the experience time, and although they probably explained about the dolphins' ecology, I was disappointed that I couldn't understand much due to my English skills. At Sea Life Park, there are staff who speak Japanese and guided us to the experience venue, so I wish there had been someone who could provide explanations in Japanese during the experience.

イルカとたっぷり触れ合い、たくさん触ったり遊んだりすることが出来ます。ただ体験時間に対して金額は高めであることと、多分イルカの生態のことなどを説明してくれているのですが、自分の英語力ではあまり理解することが出来なかったのが残念でした。シーライフパークには日本語を喋れるスタッフもいて、体験会場までは誘導してくれたので、体験中も日本語で解説してくれる人がいたら良いなと思いました。

The view from 150 meters is amazing. It was a breathtaking sight with Diamond Head and the streets of Hawaii visible. Even during the waiting time for parasailing, the crew kept us entertained, so there was no time to get bored. However, the boat might be a bit rocky, so I recommend taking motion sickness medication just in case.

高さ150mの景色は最高。ダイヤモンドヘッド、ハワイの街並みが見える絶景でした。パラセーリングの待ち時間も船員の方が色々と楽しませてくれるので、退屈する時間はありませんでした。ただ船は少し酔いやすいかもしれないので、酔い止めは念のため飲んでおいた方が良いと思います。

It was a 2-hour plan, but the pickup in Waikiki was at 8:15, and we returned to Waikiki at 16:30. It turned into a full-day plan. However, I was able to enjoy Kualoa Ranch thoroughly.

Even without the Secret Beach tour, you can easily walk to a nearby beach (more for viewing than swimming). For lunch, I brought a sandwich, but hamburgers and other items are available for purchase. Around 13:00, I craved some fries and stood in line, but even at that time, there was still a wait, and those who ordered hamburgers had to wait 20 minutes.

For horseback riding, you cannot wear a strap around your neck. All belongings except for water, a smartphone, and a camera must be placed in a locker that costs $5 for unlimited access. The locker is large enough for two backpacks.

*If you're worried about dropping your smartphone while on the horse, it might be best to leave it behind. The ground is full of horse manure. The horse I rode was quite laid-back and kept a considerable distance from the horse in front. I was urged on by those behind me and signaled a lot with my legs, which left my outer thigh muscles sore.

Horses seem to have their own personalities, and it can be challenging with certain horses, but overall, it was enjoyable. It was a calm horse, and it turned out to be a great experience.

2時間のプランでしたが、ワイキキのお迎えが8:15で、帰りにワイキキに着いたのが16:30でした。1日かかるプランになります。
ですが、クアロアランチを十分に楽しめました。
シークレットビーチツアーでなくても、歩いてすぐのビーチにも行けます(泳ぐと言うよりは眺める用)
ランチは、サンドイッチを作って持って行きましたが、ハンバーガーなど売ってます。13時過ぎくらいにポテトが食べたくて並びましたが、その時間でもまだ並んでいて、ハンバーガーなどを頼んだ人たちは20分待ちでした。
乗馬は、首からかけるストラップはつけられません。荷物は、水とスマホ、カメラ以外は全て5ドルで開け閉め自由のロッカーに入れます。ロッカーは2人分のリュックが入る大きさです。
※馬の上からスマホ等落としたら大変なので心配な人はおいていってもいいかもしれません。
地面は馬のふんだらけです。
私が乗った馬は、のんびりな性格の馬で前の馬からかなり距離をとって歩いていました。
後ろの人からもせっつかれて、たくさん足で合図したので足の腿の外側が筋肉痛になりました。
馬にも性格があるようで、そういう馬だと大変ですが、総じて楽しかったです。おとなしい馬で、いい経験になりました。
