We participated as a family of six across three generations. The weather was great, and we were able to enjoy the city of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the ocean and under the blue sky, which was a different perspective from what we usually see from the land. I challenged myself to float in the sky, and it wasn't scary at all; I was able to enjoy it to the fullest. The staff prioritized safety and were full of humor, which made us feel secure while participating. It's truly an enjoyable activity.

天候も良く、日頃陸地から見ているワイキキの街、ダイヤモンドヘッドを、海の上から、そして青空の中から楽しむことができました。
空に浮かぶということがイメージでずにチャレンジしたのですが、怖いこともなく、、存分に楽しむことができました。
スタッフの方々も安全を第一に対応していただき、またユーモアたっぷりで安心して参加できました。
本当に楽しめるアクティビティです。

I woke up at 4:30 AM to join the Hanauma Bay tour. I was picked up at the Ilikai Hotel, and the night broke as we headed towards Hanauma Bay. I lined up as soon as the gates opened at 6:45 AM and got my entry ticket for 7:20 AM. I paid $25 in cash, watched an environmental video, and arrived at the beach around 8:00 AM. I put on the rented wetsuit and entered the sea. I encountered a large school of fish and lost track of time until my pickup at 11:00 AM! It was deeply moving to visit Hanauma Bay for the first time in five years since my visit before the pandemic!

４時半起きでハナウマ湾ツアーに参加。
イリカイホテルでピックアップしてもらい、ハナウマ湾に向かう途中で夜が明ける。
6:45の開門と同時に列に並び、7:20の入場チケットをゲット。1人25ドルを現金で払い、環境ビデオを見て、8:00頃ハナウマ湾のビーチに到着。
レンタルしたウェットスーツを着て海に入る。魚の大群にも遭遇、11時の迎えまで、時間を忘れて楽しみました！
コロナ前の訪問以来、５年ぶりにハナウマ湾を訪れることができて感慨深かったです！

Check-in at the tour desk of the Outrigger Hotel at 11:30. Departed from in front of Halekulani on the Holokai Catamaran.

Before long, we arrived at Turtle Canyon, a few kilometers offshore. Sea turtles were swimming right next to the boat!

I borrowed a mask and fins and went snorkeling while observing the coral reef. I was able to spot sea turtles underwater right away!

After snorkeling, we raised the sails and cruised while enjoying the view of Diamond Head. The sea breeze was very pleasant!

The crew was also very service-oriented, and the kids got to sit at the helm, making it a fun tour!

ほどなく数キロ沖合のタートルキャニオンに到着。船のすぐそばでウミガメが泳いでいる！
マスクとフィンを借りて珊瑚礁を見ながらシュノーケリング。水中でもウミガメをすぐ見つけることが出来ました！
シュノーケリング後は帆を上げて、ダイヤモンドヘッドを眺めながらクルージング。海風がとても心地よい！
クルー達もサービス精神旺盛で、子供も船の操縦席に座らせてもらい、楽しいツアーでした！

We experienced this as a family of four.
We progressed along the grassy path from the ranch to the seaside! The ocean spread out before us, and it was a wonderful location.
Each horse had its own personality, and we were able to enjoy a valuable experience while walking leisurely.

牧場から草道を進み海辺へ！海が広がり素晴らしいロケーションでした。
馬もそれぞれの性格が有り、のんびりと歩きながら貴重な体験が出来ました。

I'm giving a 4 out of 5 because the trek to the beach was a long hike. The description did say you had to take your kayak down to the beach yourself, but we weren't expecting such a long hike to start kayaking. Once down at the beach their were employees there to help you into your kayak and give you a good push to get you started. The water was amazing, the bird sanctuary was nice. We didn't make it to the snorkeling by kayak, but drove there because not everyone could have made it the whole way. Once we made it to the snorkeling area it was amazing. The reefs were beautiful and full of sea life. The price for the self guided was great. You get access to all of their gear all day until 5pm.

I participated in the E-bike tour again this time. This is a repeat from last year. The guide was very kind and attentive. One slight disappointment was that it was crowded, and the spots often overlapped with jeep tours and bus tours. Last time it was less crowded, so it was more comfortable. I recommend Kualoa Ranch to others as well. I have experienced bus tours and horseback riding multiple times, but the E-bike tour offers the best scenery and photography opportunities.

今回もEバイクツアーに参加しました。昨年に次いでリピートです。。ガイドさんもとっても親切で丁寧に接してくれました。少し残念だったのは混んでいてスポットがジープツアーやバスツアーと重なることが多かったです。前回は空いていたので過ごしやすかったです。クアロアランチは他の方にも勧めています。バスツアー、乗馬など何度も体験していますがEバイクツアーが1番景色や撮影をを楽しめます。

I participated despite my anxiety from the lack of Japanese support and reviews, but I was able to watch a video with explanations in Japanese, so I could join without worrying about the language. The horses were very gentle and cute, and I'm glad I had this experience. It became my favorite memory from this trip.

It was amazing to see a real magician up close. Also, the talk was wonderful, and it was a show that engaged with the audience. I would love to go again if I have the chance.

We are a 63-year-old and 66-year-old elderly couple, and we are so glad we did it! It feels amazing!! You get the sensation of having the ocean in Waikiki all to yourself.

It was my first time at Kualoa! I had a great time. Although Japanese is not widely understood, there was a Japanese guide's video on-site, and I was able to drive the buggy without any worries! And the staff were so lively! I was very satisfied with the beautiful nature of Kualoa!

初めてのクアロアでした！楽しかったです。
日本語はほぼ通じませんが、現地でも日本語ガイドのVTRがありバギーも心配なく運転できました！そしてスタッフさんのノリのいいこと！少し足を延ばしてクアロアの大自然！大満足でした！

Staff were super friendly, fun and down to earth.

The boat and sandbar experience was 10/10! I highly highly recommend it to anyone thinking of doing it. We also paid an extra $20 USD per person for a banana boat ride and that was probably the highlight of the experience. It was SO FUN! The staff was incredible and so nice and fun. There was standup paddle boarding, kayaking, floating lounge chairs, snorkeling, live music, and drinks available for purchase (juice and water were free though). Such a fun time and the highlight of my trip.

It's relaxing to ride a horse on the vast grounds. By the end, it feels so comfortable that you might just fall asleep. I recommend taking a longer time as it allows you to cover more area.

I received detailed explanations and rules in Japanese, and even though most of the participants were from Europe and America, I felt comfortable joining in! The water temperature was still a bit chilly, but the sunny weather made it pleasant to spend time there! The crew also spoke to us in Japanese, which was heartwarming! I plan to visit again right in the middle of the season next time!

日本語で細かい説明やルールなどお話ししていただき、他の参加者はほとんど欧米の方でしたがその中でも安心して参加できました！
まだ水温が若干冷たかったのですが、晴れてくれたので気持ちよく過ごせました！クルーの方も日本語で話しかけてくれてほんわかしました！次回はシーズン真っ只中に訪れたいと思います！

The staff was amazing. So welcoming and so fun. They made us feel like family and took care of us the whole time. I highly recommend.

It was also a filming location for movies like Jurassic Park, so I felt like I was in the movie. There is a Japanese version of the buggy operation instruction video, so it's reassuring. Just bring your passport and Japanese driver's license, and you're good to go!

The receptionist spoke a little Japanese, but the crew on the boat communicated entirely in English. My English skills are only sufficient to understand simple phrases, but since they demonstrated how to use the snorkeling equipment, there were no particular issues as long as I paid attention. There were no other Japanese participants, but it felt like an overseas trip, which was nice!

When boarding the boat, you need to take off your sandals and shake off the sand from your feet. You sit in your seat and wait until you reach the snorkeling point. Once the crew is ready, everyone enters the water one by one. They apply anti-fog solution to the snorkeling mask, and after rubbing it in with your hands, you dip it in a bucket of water before putting it on. Just before entering the water, you put on your fins, and off you go into the sea!

You swim a little away from the boat to reach the watching point. As you swim, you see plenty of fish. I was surprised at how many there were! When a turtle appeared, the crew would call out, "Turtle!!" and let us know. We all gathered around, watching without getting too close. I was able to see the turtle both underwater and when it came up for air. So cute!

Many other boats were also there for turtle watching, so it might be helpful to keep an eye out for people wearing the same life jackets as you or to listen for the call of "Holokai!" to stay together and feel secure.

Looking at past reviews, it seems that the shape of the life jackets and floats might vary depending on when you participate. When we joined, we had life jackets that you inflate yourself. I recommend inflating them fully. Since the back of the jacket doesn't have any buoyancy, it might feel a bit scary if you're not used to swimming. My partner was also new to snorkeling and being in water where he couldn't touch the bottom, so he seemed quite fearful and stayed close to the boat while snorkeling. The crew informed us from the boat that there was a turtle, so we were able to enjoy turtle watching safely.

After snorkeling, we relaxed on the boat for about an hour. We were feeling a bit seasick, so we couldn't eat, but snacks were available for everyone else. The crew noticed we looked unwell and kindly asked if we were okay, applying lavender oil to our wrists, which is said to help with seasickness. I appreciated their kindness.

Although I felt a bit seasick towards the end, the breeze and sunshine on the boat were very pleasant, and I was able to see many fish and cute turtles. I think it was a wonderful experience that I wouldn't have had otherwise!

受付のお姉さんは少し日本語を話してくれましたが、船上クルーの方はずっと英語でした。簡単な英語が聞き取れる程度の英語力しかありませんが、シュノーケリング用具の説明は実演してくれたので、しっかり見ていれば特に問題はなかったです。
日本人の参加者は他にいませんでしたが、海外旅行を感じられたのでそれも良し！

船に乗り込むときはサンダルを脱ぎ、足についた砂を落として乗り込みます。
椅子に座ってシュノーケリングポイントにつくまで待機。クルーの方の準備が完了したら、順々に海に入っていきます。
シュノーケリングマスクに曇り止め？を付けてもらい手で塗り込んだら、バケツのお水に一度つけてから装着。
海に入る直前にフィンをつけて、さあ海の中へ！

船から少し離れて、泳いでウォッチングポイントへ移動します。
泳いでいるとお魚はたくさん目に入ります。こんなにいるのか！とびっくり。
タートルが現れたときは「タートーーール！！」とクルーの方が声がけして教えてくれます。みんなで丸く囲みながら、近寄らずにウォッチング。
私は、海中にいる時と海上に呼吸をしに来た時の姿を拝むことができました。かわいいな〜

他の船もたくさんタートルウォッチングに来ているので、自分と同じライフジャケットをしている人を見逃さないようにしたり、「ホロカ〜イ！」という声がけに耳を澄ませておくと、逸れずに安心かもしれません。

過去レビューの写真を見たところ、参加タイミングによりライフジャケットや浮きの形が違うのかも？　私たちが参加した際は、自分で空気を吹き込んで膨らませるライフジャケットでした。しっかりと膨らませることをおすすめします。
背中側に浮きがない形なので、もしかしたら泳ぎ慣れていないと少し怖いのかもしれません。私のパートナーはシュノーケリングも初、足の付かない水中も初だったこともあり恐怖感がとても強かったようで、船からはあまり離れずシュノーケリングをしていました。
クルーの方が船の上から「カメいるよ〜」と教えてくれたようで、無事にタートルウォッチングはできたようです。

シュノーケリングが終わった後は1時間ほど、船上でゆっくり。
私たちは船酔い気味だったので食べられませんでしたが、スナックは自由にいただけたようで、みなさん召し上がっていました。
クルーの方は我々の具合の悪そうな様子を見て、大丈夫？と声をかけてくれ、酔いに効くらしいラベンダーオイルを手首に付けてくれました。優しさに感謝。

終盤船酔い気味ではありましたが、船上で感じる風や陽射しはとても気持ちが良く、たくさんのお魚やかわいいホヌも見ることができ、なかなかできない良い体験ができたなと思っています！

The service and explanations provided by all the staff were excellent, as they spoke with each customer individually to understand their needs and desires until we disembarked. It was very reassuring to have a Japanese female staff member who could communicate in Japanese. The lunch burgers and drinks were good! After that, the sea turtle watching was well-timed and satisfying! Unfortunately, the snorkeling included with the coral reef watching was affected by sudden rain, bad weather, and cold temperatures, but there was still plenty of time for watching, and the hot drinks provided on board afterward were great. I was initially worried about language barriers with the multinational group on the small boat, but all the staff made it enjoyable! Choosing this tour was definitely the right decision!

スタッフ全員の接客と説明、お客様1人ずつと話をして船を降りる時まで何が欲しいのか　何をしたいのか等　細やかなサービスは最高でした！日本人女性のスタッフが日本語で対応していただけたのもとても安心できました。ランチのハンバーガーと飲み物もgood！その後　海亀ウォッチングもgood timingで満足！残念ながらシュノーケリングを付けての珊瑚礁ウォッチングでは突然のシャワーと悪天候と寒さでしたが、充分ウォッチング時間もあり　その後船上でのホットドリンク等の対応もよかったです。
やはり狭い船上の中　多国籍の人と言葉の心配をしましたが　スタッフ全員に楽しませてもらいました！　このツアーを選んで正解でした！

I booked this tour on my last trip to Oahu and was really excited about it. The downside is I ended up getting sea sick while I was in the water :( Even though it ended up cutting my experience with the sea turtles short, the crew was so kind and went out of their way to make sure I was feeling better and still had a great time.

I highly recommend this experience and can't wait to come back and try again (with better motion-sickness meds :) )

I kept jumping back and forth with scuba diving vs snorkeling. I’m glad I chose snorkeling! our instructor was Rida, he made the experience great with his cheesey jokes and his knowledge of the sea life. He was also very kind and understanding to those who were very afraid of deep water and using the snorkel for the first time.

The driver was polite and it was great. It was a very good hike that we could do in two hours with elementary school children, going up and down. The weather was nice, and the view from the top was wonderful. There were also many elderly people and those with babies.

ドライバーさんが丁寧で良かったです。小学生子供連れて、２時間で、登って降りて来れる、とても良いハイキングでした。天気も良く、頂上からの眺めは素晴らしかったです。お年寄りも赤ちゃん連れの方もたくさんいました。

I received a short message the day before the activity, and the pickup location was easy to understand. They arrived on time, which was reassuring. The driver was very polite, and the entry process was smooth. The kids really enjoyed snorkeling in the beautiful sea, and the three hours went by in no time.

アクティビティ前日にショートメールが届いて、迎えのピックアップ場所分かりやすく、時間通りに来てくれて、安心しました。ドライバーさんもとても丁寧で、入場までもスムーズでした。素晴らしい海でシュノーケルを子供たちもとても楽しめて、あっという間の３時間でした。

Both the captain and the crew were very entertaining. My English is at a normal level, but they really got the conversation going! For $40, they will take photos with a DSLR camera. They came up with various creative ways to take pictures, and when I checked them after the experience, I was surprised by how many there were! They sent the photo data to my smartphone right away :) I also received the data on an SD card. If I go to Hawaii again, I definitely want to participate!

キャプテンもクルーの方もとっても面白かったです。英語は普通レベルの私ですが盛り上げてくれて会話が弾みました！40$で一眼レフで写真も撮ってくれます。写真の撮り方を色々工夫してくれていて、体験後に確認するとびっくりするほどありました！スマホに写真データをすぐ送っていただきました:)SDカードでデータも貰えます。またハワイに行くならぜひ参加したいです！！

We set off with about 12 people on the boat. There were only two groups of Japanese, including mine, but I had a lot of fun communicating a bit with the other groups. If you get seasick, it might be wise to be careful! The waves were a bit high that day...!

Photos are 137 for $40, and you can decide whether to take them on the boat or not. They take some really good pictures. (Another Japanese couple had a GoPro, so they didn't take any photos! There's no pressure, so it's totally fine to decline.) You can also ask someone else on the same boat to take pictures with your iPhone (it's a bit boring when you're down below...). I also asked for videos and photos.

I think even those who are anxious about flying abroad can feel at ease! I highly recommend it.

日本人は私の組含めて2組しかいませんでしたが、ほかの組との少しコミュニケーションしたりととても楽しかったです。
船酔いする人は気をつけた方が良さそう！

写真は137枚で40ドル、船の上で撮るか撮らないか決めれます。結構いい写真撮ってもらえます。
(別の日本人カップルはGoProを持ってらっしゃったので撮影なしでした！強制力はないので断るのも全然OK)
同じ船に乗ってもらってる人にiPhoneでの撮影も頼めます（下にいる時は暇だし…）。私も動画と写真お願いしました＾＾

After arriving at Kualoa Ranch, there were some parts of the explanation that were a bit unclear. The horseback riding experience varies depending on the personality of the horse, so compatibility can differ between people and horses. I recommend studying how to ride and handle horses in advance!

説明は全部英語でクアロアランチ到着後、多少説明がわかりづらい部分はありました。乗馬体験は、馬によっても性格も違うので相性が合うかは人と馬によりけりです。馬の乗り方や馬の操り方を事前に勉強しておくことをオススメします！

This was an amazing ride. All the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and bent over backwards to ensure everyone had a great time. The trip was perfect. You got sandbar time, turtle time and snorkeling.

What a great way to spend an afternoon! The company offers plenty of activities for you to stay active if you want out on the sandbar, or you can just chill out and lounge in the sandbar living room. The lunch was awesome! The staff was very friendly and professional. The 2 man band had amazing talent! I truly enjoyed the experience. It was very relaxing and fun. Thank you for the memories and joy!

To enter Hanauma Bay as soon as it opened, the morning pickup was a bit earlier. I was lucky to catch the sunrise at a nearby coastline while adjusting my schedule before entering!

This was my third visit to Hanauma Bay. The weather was perfect, but the ocean at 7 AM was still quite cold as the water temperature hadn't warmed up yet. Still, the view was absolutely stunning! I was very satisfied to see so many fish.

ハナウマの開園と同時に入場する為、朝のピックアップは少し早めでした。
入場前に時間調整で近くの海岸線で日の出も見れてラッキー！

お天気は最高でしたが、やはり朝7時の海は、みだ水温が上がらず冷たかったです(^^;
それでも、やはり絶景！魚達も沢山見れて大満足でした。

Tommy picked us up early at a neighboring hotel/resort. As soon as we arrived, he mentioned me and my son by name and I signed a sheet stating we were present. He was kind, patient, relaxed and informative about the area offering great suggestions on different locations. This experience included our entrance fee to Diamond Head State Monument, transportation to and from the hotel. Our hike was moderate and offered beautiful scenery and awesome photo opportunities. The only area I felt somewhat claustrophobic was going into the tunnel on the way up. Tommy provided cold as well as room temperature water and the ride back was comfortable and convenient as we were dropped off right in front of our resort. Thank you for a great experience! Mahalo!

I was a bit apprehensive after reading reviews about horses acting up, but the horse I rode was very calm and didn't act out at all! All the other horses were also well-behaved and adorable!

The guide spoke entirely in English, so I couldn't fully understand since I'm still studying the language. However, the guide communicated safety checks in Japanese during the ride, which made me feel very reassured! I hope to improve my English soon so I can participate again!

口コミで馬が暴れて大変だったなど等を見て少し身構えていましたが、とても大人しい馬で暴れるなどは全くありませんでした！他の方の馬も暴れることなくどの馬もみんな可愛かったです！
ガイドは全て英語のため、英語勉強中の私にはまだ理解できませんでした、、
乗馬中の安全確認はガイドさんが日本語で話しかけてくれたのでとても安心感がありました！早く英語が出来るようになってからまた参加したいと思いました！
