Since it was a plan with shuttle service from the hotel, we took a large bus for about an hour to get to the location. The instructor during the horseback riding spoke in English, but there was also an explanation provided by a Japanese staff member beforehand, so I think it’s fine even if you don’t understand English. There were mostly Japanese participants, but there were also quite a few Chinese, Korean, and Westerners. There was about an hour of free time before and after the activity, so we spent it buying snacks at the shop and taking a leisurely walk. It was really nice to feel nature in a different atmosphere from the Waikiki area.

ホテルからの送迎付きプランだったので、大型バスで1時間ほどかけて現地まで行きました。乗馬中のインストラクターさんからの声掛けは英語ですが、事前に日本人のスタッフの方からの説明もあったので、英語がわからなくても大丈夫だと思います。参加者は日本人が多めで中国人、韓国人、欧米の方も結構いました。アクティビティの前後にそれぞれ1時間弱自由時間があったので、売店で軽食を買ったりのんびり散歩したりして過ごしました。ワイキキエリアとはまた違った雰囲気の中で自然を感じることができてとても良かったです。

I happened to be the only participant, so it turned into a private charter. It feels like riding a swing 150 meters above the ground. There's nothing else like it. Overlooking the ocean and gazing at Diamond Head is breathtaking. The wind feels amazing! Is the tip $20? There was a $20 bill clipped to the boat, so it felt like I had to pay that amount, haha. But I definitely recommend it!

たまたま他の参加者がいなくて、プライベートチャーターになりました。150メートル上空でブランコに乗っているような感覚です。これは他にはありません。海を見下ろしてダイヤモンドヘッドを眺めるのは圧巻です。風が最高に気持ちい！チップは20ドル？ボートに20ドル札がクリップされていて、なんか20は払わなきゃならない雰囲気でした笑。でもぜったいオススメです！

Overall a fun experience. Staff is friendly and the sandbar is beautiful!
The overall tour is just a little too long and the boat is a little dirty.

Tonight we went to an immersive and interactive luau -it was simply the best and I would highly recommend!

We all had such a great time - we were welcomed like family! We loved learning to drum, spin fire “knives”, wrap fish for cooking, bury the fish to cook on the hot rocks, have a traditional kava ceremony, and weave tea leaves to make bracelets, leis, etc. We then had a catered kalua pork dinner and got to eat the fish we wrapped and cooked. This was so much better than the commercialized luaus we have attended before! If you want a true family experience this is for you. If you want the commercialized cocktail filled experience this isn’t it!

This was my first experience, and the Japanese crew members were very entertaining, making it a fun experience for the kids as well. The final snorkeling was a bit nerve-wracking when clouds appeared, but when it cleared up, the color of the sea was beautiful, and we saw plenty of fish. The hamburger for lunch was also quite delicious, and my 5-year-old daughter was happily eating it! I want to practice swimming more and come back again!

今回初めての体験でしたが、日本人クルーの方もとても面白く、子供達も楽しい体験ができました。
最後のシュノーケリングは雲が出てくると少しドキドキしましたが晴れると海の色がとてもキレイでお魚もいっぱい見れました。そしてランチのハンバーガーもかなり美味しくて、５歳の娘もパクパク食べていました！またもっと泳ぎを練習してまた来たいです♪

Yet again another excellent tour from VELTRA and Operators. Bus driver Tommy was funny and more importantly on time, he gave us all the information we needed. We climbed at 9am and did it in 20mins as we wanted a workout. Spent some time at the top, taking in the views. Made our way down slowly, sat under the trees in the park and waited to be collected by Tommy. All done by 1130am. Perfect!

I experienced a 2-hour horseback riding session at Kualoa Ranch. The activity itself was fantastic. If I remember correctly, it’s quite popular, so when I applied, I wasn’t sure what time slot I would be able to join. It was confirmed in the reservation email when I opened the voucher. I didn’t quite understand how Kualoa Ranch operated, and since it was the weekend, there were more people than on weekdays. After arriving, I realized I had about 2 hours of free time before the horseback riding, so I lined up at the ticket center, but all the other morning activities were sold out. I spent the time at the cafeteria, grabbing a light snack and browsing for souvenirs. Considering efficiency, I would have liked to combine another tour with the 2 hours, but the horseback riding experience was truly wonderful. The horses are well-trained, so they move along without needing much direction. During the 2-hour wait, I bought lunch at the cafeteria, which felt like a food court, so there was no obligation to buy a meal for each person. To avoid overeating before the activity, sharing was also possible. It seems that bringing in sandwiches or rice balls wouldn’t be a problem. By the way, it takes about an hour to get from the Sheraton to Kualoa Ranch. The bus is large and comfortable. The driver provided information about Hawaii’s attractions in English along the way, which added to the pleasant atmosphere. Overall, I’m glad I participated!

アクティビティ自体、最高でした。
確か、記憶によると人気なんで、申込時には何時の回に参加できるかは判らず、予約確定のメールでバウチャーを開くと確定されてる感じでした。クアロアランチの仕組みが分からなかったのと、土日だったんで平日より人が多かったせいか、着いたのち、乗馬まで2時間くらい空き時間がある事がわかって、そこからチケットセンターに並んだが、午前中の他のアクティビティはどれも完売との事で、カフェテリアで小腹を満たしたり、お土産見たりして過ごしました。効率から考えると2時間あれば何か1つツアーを組み合わせたかったが、乗馬体験はとても素晴らしく、馬が慣れてるので、あまり指示を出さずとも合わせて動いてくれます。2時間の待ち時間はカフェテリアで昼食を購入し食べたがフードコートのような感じなんで1人1食購入する義務感も無く、アクティビティ前の食べ過ぎを避ける為にシェアも可能でした。おそらく、サンドイッチやおにぎりの持込みも問題なさそう。ちなみに、シェラトンからクアロアランチまで約1時間。バスは大きく快適です。行きがけのドライバーは道中、ハワイの見どころを英語ですが紹介してくれて、雰囲気も良かった。トータル、参加して良かったです！

My first time in Hawaii and my first time parasailing was an amazing experience. As I've gotten older, I've become a bit uneasy with heights, so I had some concerns, but parasailing was something else entirely. It was fantastic!

初めてのハワイ、初めてのパラセーリングは最高の体験でした。
歳を取るにつれて少し高いところが苦手になってきて、少し不安がありましたが、パラセーリングは別物でした。最高です！

We had a great movie tour - almost wish we had booked one of the more extended tours, but we had a great guide, learned a lot, enjoyed photo stops though wish there were more! Would definitely recommend!

I have done horseback trekking for about two hours several times in Hokkaido, and the horses in Hawaii respond to the same cues for moving forward, stopping, and turning. It's universal.

At first, we went through the forest, then we reached the scenic spot in the photo, and from there, we turned back to the starting point. After riding for two hours, my butt started to hurt (laughs), but the weather was nice, and I thoroughly enjoyed horseback riding!

On uphill slopes, the horses seemed to struggle, and on downhill slopes, they moved slowly and cautiously to avoid slipping. You really feel the difference from riding a bicycle or motorcycle; it's a "living creature."

After the ride, you can receive photos taken during the ride via AirDrop as a complimentary service. There are commemorative photos for sale in front of the visitor center (restaurant? gift shop?), but they are expensive ($20 each), so you might not need to buy them.

北海道で数回，2時間ほどの乗馬トレッキングをしたことがあり，ハワイの馬も同じ足や手綱での指示で，進む・止まる・曲がる，をしてくれます。万国共通。
最初，林を進み，その後，写真の風景の場所に行き，そこから引き返してスタート地点に戻ります。
やはり2時間も乗っていると尻が痛くなります(笑)
が，天気も良く，乗馬を満喫しました！！
上り坂では，馬が苦しそうになり，下り坂では，馬が滑らないように慎重にゆっくりになります。自転車やオートバイじゃない，「生き物」を実感します。
乗馬後，乗馬中にサービスで撮ってくれる写真をAir Dropでもらえます。ビジターセンター（レストラン？ ギフトショップ？）前に，記念写真を売ってますが，高い（1枚 $20）から買わなくても良いかも・・。

The Viking was a bit tiring, but it was worth the climb! The view was spectacular. The guide was also very kind. I'm glad I participated.

We participated as a family of four. We put on our swimsuits and headed to the meeting point, then boarded the boat to go out to sea. There were two crew members: the captain and one staff member. It seemed there were two boats for parasailing. Since there were many Japanese tourists, some basic Japanese words were used, but the main language was English. The speed of the boat going out to sea was exhilarating! The moment we were told to put on the gear and go, we soared into the sky. So high! So beautiful! So refreshing! The blue sea, the clear blue sky, and Diamond Head unfolded before us like a postcard. The parasailing was colorful and doubled the fun. It was truly an enjoyable sailing experience. You can take photos with your phone, which you can hang around your neck in a waterproof cover. The staff also takes pictures for you. They save them to your phone's files and even give you an SD card. They took 270 pictures for us. This happened after the reception staff at the building showed us the photos on a tablet after receiving the SD card. You give tips directly in cash to the staff when you get off the boat. At other restaurants, it felt like you could choose from three options: 18%, 20%, or 23%, so around 20% seems to be the norm. It was a happy time with the friendly and smiling staff in the relaxed flow of Hawaiian time. We checked in 30 minutes before our reservation, and the total experience lasted about an hour and a half. It was a great activity to experience. A Hui Hou 🌺

家族４人で参加しました。水着を着て集合場所へ行き、ボートに乗って沖へ出ました。船長（キャプテン）とスタッフ１人の2人体制です。見た所パラセイルのボートは２船あるようでした。日本人観光客が多いのがカタコトの単語は出てきますが基本は英語のみ。沖へ出るボートのスピードは爽快！器具をつけてGOと言われた瞬間ふわぁーっと空へ飛び出しました。たかーい！キレイ！気持ちいーい！ブルーの海と真っ青な空とダイアモンドヘッド、絵葉書の世界が目の前に広がります。パラセイルはカラフルで楽しさ倍増。ホントに楽しいセイリングでした。防水カバーに入れたケータイを首から下げて写真撮影可能。スタッフさんも写真を撮ってくれます。ケータイのファイルに落としてくれてSDカードもくれます。270枚も撮ってくれてました。40ドルでした。これは建物の受付スタッフさんがSDカードを受け取ってタブレットで見せてくれてからの事です。チップはボートを降りるときにスタッフさんに直接キャッシュで渡します。他のレストランでも18％20％23%の3種類から選ぶような感じだったので大体20％くらいが相場のようです。ハワイ時間の流れる穏やかで笑顔明るいスタッフさん達と幸せな時間でした。予約時間の30分前に受付して、トータル１時間半くらい。体験してよかったアクティビティでした。A Hui Hou 🌺

My wife and I participated (both 65 years old, haha). This time, four groups jumped. Besides us, there were newlyweds from Japan, a group of three foreign men (two of whom jumped), and a cheerful group of four (two of whom jumped), along with two crew members.

We were the first to jump, cheered on by everyone. It was incredibly fun. Up in the sky, the wind felt nice, and I was amazed by the blue of the sea below. After being dipped in the sea about three times (when we touched the water for a while, the speed of the boat increased and we floated up, and then when the boat slowed down, we touched the water again), we safely landed back on the boat.

While the other three groups were jumping, we felt like we were cruising and were never bored at all. The crew member even told us about delicious places to eat in Honolulu.

I’m not sure about the others, but when we disembarked, I gave each of the two crew members a $10 tip. I also purchased photos on an SD card for $40, which could be copied directly to my iPhone on the spot. It was a great experience.

今回，飛んだ(?)のは4組。船には，我々の他は，日本からの新婚さん，外国の男子3人組（内2名飛び）と陽気な男女4人組（内2名飛び），クルー2名。
我々は，皆の歓声に見送られて，1番に飛びました。
めちゃくちゃ，楽しかったです。
空の上は，風が気持ちよく，とにかく下に見える海の青さに感激です。
3回ほど海にチャポンと浸け（しばらく着水すると引っ張る船のスピードが上がって浮き上がり，また船が遅くなると海に着水する・・みたいな感じです）られた後，無事に船上に着陸(?)。
あとの3組が飛ぶ間も，クルーズしている感じで，全く飽きませんでした。クルーのにいさんがホノルルのおいしい店を教えてくれたり・・。
他の人たちは不明ですが，下船時，クルー2名に心付けを$10ずつ渡しました。
SDカードの写真も$40で購入しました。その場でiPhoneにコピーもできました。
良い体験しました。

I had a great time surrounded by beautiful seas. I only caught small fish, but I think it's good for families and beginners. If you're prone to seasickness, taking motion sickness medication is a must.

綺麗な海に囲まれて楽しかったです。
小魚しか釣れなかったですがファミリーや初心者向けに良いと思います。
船酔いが気になる人は、酔い止め必須ですよ。

First of all, Mason Captain's Japanese is incredibly good! I was surprised at how well he speaks, to the point where I thought he might be better than some Japanese people, as he learned it by ear.

We were the only Japanese people there, but he provided translations for all the announcements without slowing down the tempo, keeping everyone engaged. He is truly amazing.

The clientele was also great; there were elderly gentlemen and ladies who surprised me by snorkeling down to about 5 meters deep. Additionally, they opened the restrooms that were only for park members for us when we urgently needed them, which was very kind of them.

Before COVID, it seems that about 30-40% of the guests were Japanese, but after COVID, it appears that hardly any Japanese people have returned. However, even for those who are not good at English, there is really no trouble at all, and the food was delicious. It was the best activity, so I really hope everyone gets to experience it!

まず、メイソンキャプテンの日本語がめちゃくちゃ上手い！
耳で覚えたとのことですが、日本人より上手いんじゃないか、ってくらいのレベルでびっくりしちゃいました。

日本人は僕らだけでしたが、全部のアナウンスに和訳も添えてくれて、なのにテンポ落とさずに全員を盛り上げていて、本当にすごい人です。

客層も良く、高齢の殿方とご婦人もいらっしゃいましたが皆さんシュノーケルで5mくらいある底まで潜っていらっしゃったりしてびっくりしました。
あとパークメンバーオンリーのお手洗いを急を要していた我々のために開けてくれたりして、素敵な方々でした。

コロナ前までは3-4割は日本人のお客さんだったそうですが、アフターコロナはほとんど日本人が戻ってきてないそうです。
ただ、英語苦手な方でも本当に全く困らないし、ご飯も美味しくて最高のアクティビティだったので、是非みんな行ってみて欲しいです！

The water was unreal. It was so beautiful like out of a movie. The staff were wonderful and overall great experience.

Horseback riding was my first experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed it for two full hours in nature. I think riding through the scenery used in Jurassic Park was a fun experience. The staff spoke English and were very kind in their assistance.

I received lessons through videos, but the horse was smart and moved forward, stopped, and turned on its own.

乗馬は初めての体験てしたが自然の中で2時間たっぷり堪能できました。ジュラシック・パークなどで使われた景色のなかを馬に揺られて進むのは楽しい体験と思います。スタッフのかたは英語でしたが優しく対応いただけました。
乗馬のレッスンはビデオなどで受けますが馬が賢くて進んだり、止まったり、曲がったりは自らやってくれました。

We went banana boating with elementary school children, middle school students, and adults. I hesitated to add the banana boat because it increased the price, but it was the right decision. We saw a lot of sea turtles. Just when I thought I could see their heads, there were many around the boat, which was moving. It might have become my best memory in Hawaii.

We could also do various other activities, and I was able to see many fish while keeping my feet in the water during snorkeling, which was great. Since it was a morning plan, the water was very shallow, and the children could touch the bottom, which was reassuring. I was torn between this and other options, but choosing this one was the right choice.

I thought I might get seasick on the boat, but I didn't. The wind was very strong, so it might be cold afterward. The staff members were very entertaining and fun. The only downside was that the Japanese guide was a bit strict.

小学生の子どもと中学生と大人でバナナボートに乗りました。
バナナボートを付けるだけで値段が上がるので、どうしようか迷いましたが、付けて正解でした。
ウミガメがたくさん見れました。頭が見える！と思ったら、ボートの周りに沢山いたので、感動しました。
ハワイで1番の思い出になったかもしれません。
その他のアクティビティも色々出来て、シュノーケルも足を付けたまま魚を沢山見れたので、良かったです。
午前中のプランでしたので、とても浅くて、子どもも足が付いたので安心でした。他のと迷いましたが、これにして正解でした。
船は酔うかと思いましたが酔いませんでした。
風がとても強かったです。その為終わった後は寒いかもしれません。
スタッフの方々もとても面白くて楽しかったです。唯一日本人ガイドの方がきつかったのが残念でした

During my first trip to Hawaii, I was worried about whether I could enjoy it due to my age, but the staff's enthusiasm and the photo service (for a fee) made it a lot of fun.

初めてのハワイで、年齢的な事もあり、楽しめるのか心配でしたが、スタッフの盛り上げや写真サービス（有料）もありとても楽しめました。

I climbed to quite a high place, and the view is amazing! You can see Waikiki and Diamond Head all at once. When coming down, if you ask, they will let you dip your feet in the sea for a moment (laughs).

かなり高い所まであがり、景色が最高です！ワイキキやダイアモンドヘッドまで一望できます。
下に降りて来るときは希望したら一瞬海に足をちゃぽんしてくれます(笑)

The ocean was incredibly beautiful! The staff's service spirit is wonderful! They carefully teach you how to paddleboard and there are Japanese staff members, which is reassuring. Also, when you come back from the sea and are on the boat, they offer warm tea, which was a nice touch! The low tide was off schedule, so the sandy beach didn't appear, but I had plenty of fun with the activities!

We had a fun time on this excursion from the boat tide to the snorkeling to the trying s dup for first time to relaxing on the floating lounge either a beer. Only negative for me was having to wear a lifejacket while in the water. The crew were nice and helpful too

I participated with my wife and our 8-year-old child. There was another Japanese family, so we were in a group of two families. We all went parasailing together, which created great memories. When returning to the boat, we got wet up to our waists, so I think wearing swimsuits is essential. The tour guide spoke a little Japanese. There was also an option for photo shooting, which cost $40 (and you don't have to buy them if you don't like them).

妻と子供(8歳)と3人で参加しました。他に日本人の親子が1組おり、2組での参加でした。3人一緒にパラセーリングさせてもらい、良い思い出になりました。船に戻る際は一旦腰まで着水しましたので水着は必須かと思います。添乗員は少し日本語が話せました。また、写真撮影のオプションもあり料金は$40でした。（気に入らなければ購入しなくて良いそうです）

This was my first time participating after visiting Hawaii more than ten times. I had some fear, like the possibility of falling off a horse, but I was completely captivated during the two-hour ride with well-trained horses, even though it was my and my spouse's first experience riding. The experienced female guide provided thorough instructions along the way, and most importantly, there was a Japanese guide named Sanae on-site who kindly explained how to use the lockers and tips in Japanese from the moment we arrived on the shuttle bus, which made us feel at ease. Exploring the great nature of the Kualoa area with the smart horses at a leisurely pace is the best way to enjoy it. You can rely almost entirely on the horses while just holding the reins throughout the entire journey.

落馬など多少の恐怖心がありましたが、しっかりと調教された馬さん達に、夫婦共乗馬初体験でしたが、約2時間すっかり魅力されました
手慣れたガイド女子も道中しっかり案内してくれますし、何よりも現地に日本人ガイドのサナエさんが居てくれて、送迎バス到着時から日本語で丁寧にロッカーの使い方やらチップのことやら教えてくれますので安心です
クアロアエリアの大自然はお利口な馬さん達とゆっくり廻るのがベストです
ほぼ馬さん任せで人間は手綱を持っているだけで全行程が回れます

I had a valuable experience horseback riding in a wonderful landscape.

However, if the horse you ride is spirited, it might turn into a nerve-wracking two hours instead of enjoying the scenery.

My companion said they couldn't enjoy the view at all!

素晴らしい景色の中で乗馬、貴重な体験ができました。

ただ、乗った馬が気性が荒かったりすると景色をたのしむどころかはらはらした2時間になるかも。笑

同行者は全然景色楽しめなかった！って言っていました。

The bus driver was informative and punctual, the bus was very clean. The Ranch was very well organised and impressive. The 3hr Bike Tour looked great, the bikes well suited and Safety Video succinct....However, for us that's when it all went down hill.
TIP - Read the fine print. Elite 3hr Bike Tour is for Intermediate+ mountain bike riders familiar with E-bikes. We are a couple of middle aged Australian tourists and failed the obstacle test. Ive ridden Road Bikes for 30yrs and a strong rider, my wife is a strong runner and has limited cycling skills. This meant we couldn't participate in the 3hr Tour and there was no refund and the bus departed at 1300. Would I book again - YES. But we would do the Novice 2hr ride (-:
