I was looking forward to visiting Manoa Falls, but I couldn't go due to road closures. Instead, I went to the Lion Arboretum, which was a worthwhile place to visit. It was full of negative ions, and the occasional passing rain shower felt refreshing. Hawaii has great beaches, but hiking in the mountains is also wonderful!

The tour was conducted with two boats, one of which gathered Japanese participants and provided guidance in Japanese. The guide was a Japanese person who was always smiling and very attentive.

When we arrived at the sandbar, we spotted two sea turtles, and several more came by afterward.

Next, we moved to the snorkeling point, where we were able to see about five sea turtles from the boat.

The snorkeling point didn't have strong waves, so if you can swim reasonably well, I recommend trying it without a life jacket!

The deeper areas had more fish and were beautiful! Additionally, I was able to find a sea turtle resting in the coral, and I managed to take an amazing photo! I had to dive about 4 meters, which was quite challenging, but it became my best memory in Hawaii.

I want to go again!

深いところの方が魚も多くて綺麗でした！
また、サンゴの隙間で休んでいるウミガメを見つけられて最高の一枚を撮ることができました！
4mくらい潜らなければならなかったので、結構大変でしたがハワイで1番の思い出になりました。

また行きたいです！

I was invited to a wedding in Honolulu and the bride and I were looking at a few activities for us to do while there. I saw the video for the BOB and we immediately wanted to do it. We made reservation for the 4 of us. I’m not a swimmer and haven’t been since high school. The staff was so professional and caring. I love their motto of “we treat everyone as non swimmers...” Their patience is great with all participants. Very knowledgeable about their equipment, their staff and the environment. Each staff played their part in our safety and the for the fish and turtles! And the fact they not only take pictures, they give you memorable videos. This tour was so relaxing and fun. Everyone was so friendly including staff and other participants.
The Sand bar was so exciting, and the turtles were cute. and snorkelling amazing.
Everything is well organised.


One advice to people who go on this tour -
Go to the bathroom before boarding the ship,
since the bathrooms are not that convenient.
but they are there if you need them :-)

I participated in a family trip for both families that also served as a wedding ceremony. There were relatively few Japanese guests, which allowed me to enjoy the feeling of being abroad. The weather was nice, and the views of Waikiki from the ocean, as well as the sunset and night scenery, were very beautiful and enjoyable. The food wasn't particularly delicious. I challenged myself to 150 meters. It was higher than I imagined, and I was scared at first, but once I got used to it, it felt great. I'm glad I decided to go for the full 150 meters instead of a half-hearted height. The staff were friendly and took lots of photos for a fee. The final splash of water was surprisingly fun.

Although the visibility of the sea wasn't great due to the rain the day before, the emerald green and cobalt blue waters sparkling in the sunlight were truly beautiful. We encountered many sea turtles, and my husband even had moments where he swam close enough to them while being careful not to touch! Our guide, Yukiko, was also impressive just to watch, and she is a big reason why I want to join this tour again and meet her!

If you're in Hawaii and not heading up Haleakala or Mauna Loa, this is the best stargazing experience you can get (in my still limited experience). Greg took us through the solar system and out into the Milky Way, showing evergreens like Jupiter and Saturn together with more exotic objects like supernova remnants and binary stars (including a spectacular yellow and blue pair). Great!

We attended the 21:00 show in mid-July - dark enough, although the almost full moon did make things complicated when objects got a bit close to it. On the flip side though, getting to take pictures of that moon with your phone through the telescope lens at the end provides a great souvenir! Our seven year-old also really enjoyed the show.

8:15になっても車は来ない。いくらなんでも遅すぎるので同行者を残し、ホテルのフロントに走り、電話をかけます。しかし、道路渋滞？のため遅れているからと、あと10分まつように言われ、集合場所に走って戻ります。
8:30、言われた10分以上待っても車が来ない。キャンセルしたくなってきます。とりあえずもう一度ホテルのフロントに走り、再度電話します。すぐ来ると言われ、また集合場所に走って戻ります。ずっと外で立ちっぱなしでいることもあり、不安と怒りで疲れます。
8:40、やっと送迎車到着。大半が日本人だったので、日本人のツアー客を集めた車のようです。後で聞いてみると、他の方もよく分からずずっと待っていた様子。
車の中で、運転手が遅れたことを謝っていましたが、英語なので理由等はよくわかりませんでした。
無事に現地到着。アクティビティ自体は20分遅れでしたが、他の日本人の方と一緒のグループでしたし、スタッフさんも楽しい方で、景色も良く最高の時間でした。
13:00頃アクティビティが終了。荷物を回収したり、写真を選びますが、帰りの集合等は聞いていないためそのまま待ちます。
13:30、外が暑いため、運転手さんが気を利かせて、車の中に入れてくれました。これはありがたかったです。
しかし、一緒にアクティビティをしていた日本人は全員乗り込みましたが、行きの送迎車のメンバーが揃っていないため、この状態で待ちます。
14:15、まだ来ていなかった方が謝りながら乗車。出発しましたが、14:30にはワイキキに戻れると思っていたため、当日の予定が狂います。最初に帰りの集合時間等を知らせておけばこんなに遅れなかったのでは？と思いました。
15:30頃、ワイキキのホテルに帰着。

以上のとおり、送迎については時間が全く信用できません。また、やりとりは全て英語になりますし、海外では携帯も使いづらいため、とても不安で、ストレスが溜まりました。
スタッフは皆さん良い方でしたし、アクティビティも楽しかったですが、送迎付きのオプショナルツアー記載の日程や時間については、誰も管理されてないし、責任もないのだと思います。
この状態では他の人におすすめはできないのと、改善した方が良いと思うので、星は1つにします。
