We were supposed to gather in front of Quicksilver (on Lures Street) at 8:40 for a 9:00 start, but even at 9:15, the van hadn’t arrived. When we decided to give up and return to the hotel, we received an email from Veltra at 8:36 notifying us of the cancellation. I was a bit anxious and checked the email late, but it seems there’s a possibility of cancellation until quite close to the time.

After that, we rescheduled and gathered at the same time and place, and around 8:55, a van with the Hawaiian Parasailing logo arrived. It was a busy spot with many taxis and other shuttle buses, so the logo on the van helped us identify it.

Inside the van, we signed a consent form, and upon reaching the dock, we were guided without any waiting and boarded with our belongings. It’s better not to bring too much luggage since it goes under the seats at your feet.

There were about five groups on the same boat, including couples, friends, families, and solo travelers. After about 10 minutes offshore, our group was called to fly suddenly. The actual flying lasted about 7 to 8 minutes, and the view of Diamond Head, Waikiki Beach, and the horizon was amazing under the clear sky. We enjoyed being lifted and lowered, and even took a light dive into the sea.

The crew played music on the boat and entertained us with their broken Japanese. Before flying, they asked if we wanted to take photos with a DSLR. I requested a DSLR shot and also handed my phone to someone on the boat to record a video. Other groups were taking pictures of each other with their phones and exchanged photos after returning to the harbor.

Each group flew for a total of about an hour. I usually don’t get seasick, but I took motion sickness medication beforehand, so I didn’t feel too nauseous, although some people on the boat seemed to be quite sick.

I gave a tip to the crew (I gave $20), paid for the SD card at the reception (which holds about 90 photos for $30), and returned to the hotel around 10:30 with the van.

9:00開始で8:40にクイックシルバー(ルアーズ通り)前に集合でしたが、9:15になってもバンが来ず、諦めてホテルに戻ると、中止メールがVeltraから8:36に来ていました。焦りもありメール確認が遅くなりましたが、結構ギリギリまで中止の可能性があるようです。
その後変更して参加できた日も同じ時間、場所に集合でしたが、8:55頃にHawaiian parasailing のロゴの入ったバンがやってきました。タクシーや他の送迎のバスが多く止まる場所で、色んな会社のバンが来るので、ロゴ入りのバンが目印になりました。
バンの中で同意書にサインして船着場まで着くと、待つことなく案内され、そのまま荷物を持って乗船。荷物は足元の座席の下に入れるのであまり多くないほうがよいと思います。

一緒の船には5組ほどで、カップル、友達同士、親子、1人の方もいました。10分くらい沖に行くと、1組目に指名されていきなり飛ぶことに。
実際に飛んでいたのは7〜8分で、快晴のなかダイヤモンドヘッドやワイキキビーチ、水平線の眺めは最高でした。高さを上下されたり、海に軽くダイブしたりもありでとても楽しめました。
船では音楽も流して、カタコトの日本語でクルーが楽しませてくれます。

クルーが飛ぶ前に一眼レフで写真を撮るか聞いてくれます。私は一眼の撮影をお願いして、さらに同船していた人に携帯を渡して、動画を撮って貰いました。他のグループではお互いに携帯で撮り合って、帰港後に写真交換をしていました。

各グループが飛んで、トータル1時間ほどでした。もともと船酔いしないほうですが、事前に酔い止めを飲んでいったのでそこまで酔いは感じなかったものの、同船の方は結構酔って大変そうでした。

クルーにチップ(私は20ドルにしました)を渡し、受付でSDカードの代金(90枚程入って30ドル)を払って、バンで送ってもらいホテルに戻ったのは10:30頃でした。

A typical dinner cruise. The round table for eight was too cramped to enjoy the meal. To be honest, the food wasn't good either. The show and live performance were of low quality, making it a disappointing tour.

よくあるディナークルーズ。丸テーブルに8人掛けは狭過ぎて食事も楽しめない。その食事もハッキリ言って美味しくなかった。ショーも生演奏もレベルが低くガッカリなツアーでした。

The weather was slightly cloudy, and it didn't feel very hot for the season, but I was satisfied to see the beautiful scenery and the sandbar! You can play beach volleyball around the sandbar. It was fun to observe the sea turtles floating around.

Regarding snorkeling near the coral reef, there were some effects from the rain, and the water clarity was low, making visibility a bit poor, but it was enjoyable to see many fish. You can also get bread to feed the fish, so they come in large numbers.

I believe there will be some explanations, but the current near the coral reef can be strong, so I think it's a good idea for those who are not used to it to practice snorkeling properly around the sandbar.

天気としては若干の曇り、季節的にもとても暑いという感じではありませんでしたが、綺麗な景色にサンドバーが見れて満足でした！
サンドバー周辺ではピーチバレーができます。
ウミガメもプカプカしているのが観察できて楽しかったです。
珊瑚礁付近のシュノーケルでは雨の影響とのことでしたが、海の透明度が低く少し見通しが悪かったですが魚がたくさん見れて楽しかったです。エサのパンももらえるのでたくさん魚がやってきます。
説明はあると思いますが珊瑚礁付近は流れも早いので、慣れない人はサンドバー周辺できちんとシュノーケルの練習をしておくのがいいと思います。

Had an amazing time. We had such a good time that we met them the next day to top the crew. We forgot cash.

It can be summed up in one word: amazing! It was truly so good that I can say it was the most fun I've ever had in my life. There was absolutely no fear at all!

The crew was delightful. The boats were comfortable. The BBQ burger for lunch was a nice surprise. Time to practice snorkeling at the sandbar was perfect for my girlfriend. We saw a ton of turtles and then the snorkeling was fantastic!

It was a more serious hike than I expected. The ground was muddy from the rain, making it quite slippery, so I had to be careful and could only walk slowly. However, the guide walked at an incredibly fast pace, and I couldn't keep up, so I ended up walking towards the back. They were explaining things along the way, but I couldn't hear anything. I was looking forward to the explanations about Hawaii's nature, so it was disappointing. I also didn't really like the lunch, so I could hardly eat anything.

思っていたより本格的なハイキングでした。
雨上がりで地面が泥になっていて結構滑るので気を付けてゆっくりしか歩けなかったのですが、ガイドさんの歩くスピードがすごく早くてついていけなくて後ろのほうを歩いていたのですが、途中途中説明してくれているのでしょうが何も聞けず。。ハワイの自然に関する説明も楽しみにしていたので残念でした。ランチも好きな味ではなくほとんど食べられなかったです。

It was truly amazing. The weather was great, and the view of Honolulu's streets from the ocean side became an unforgettable memory. I thought I would only be in the air for a shorter time when I made the reservation, but surprisingly, I was able to enjoy the scenery from up high for quite a while. The instructor also entertained the tour guests, which was nice. You absolutely should make a reservation!!

まじで最高でした。天気もよく、ホノルルの街並みを海側から見た眺めは忘れ難い思い出になりました。予約時はもうちょっと短い時間しか空中にいられないかと思っていましたが意外と長いこと高いところで景色を楽しめました。インストラクターの方がツアー客を楽しませてくれたのもよかったです。絶対に予約するべき！！

I didn't see as many beautiful fish as I was expecting. I did catch a glimpse of a turtle, which made me a bit satisfied. Given that experience, I felt the price was a bit high.

期待してた様な綺麗なお魚さんはそんなに見れませんでした。
亀は一瞬見えたんで、それで少し満足できました。
あの感じであの料金は少し高いと感じました。

I arrived just in time for the show. My seat was at the back, directly facing the stage. At the entrance, I was given a lei, which really boosted my excitement.

The show featured a variety of costumes, music, and dance, and even though it was the same performer, the quick costume changes kept the waiting time short, allowing us to enjoy the performance continuously. The final fire dance was breathtaking!

There were also interactive segments where guests could participate, such as blowing conch shells and learning dances. It was a bit disappointing not to be chosen (laughs). There was a time for couples and families to dance along to the music, but my husband was too shy to join in, which was a shame.

Additionally, the buffet food was delicious. Since I had been eating American dishes like hamburgers in the city, it was great to enjoy Hawaiian cuisine. The welcome drink, Mai Tai, was fantastic!

However, I wasn't sure how to order alcohol afterward.

Also, I got lost trying to find the venue and ended up being late, so I recommend allowing extra time to get there.

Hilton Hawaiian Village had many spots to explore, so we were able to check out the shops after the show.

しかも同じ人なのに早着替えで
待ち時間が少なくて
ずっと楽しませてもらえました。
最後のファイヤーダンスは圧巻！

お客さんが参加できるタイプのものもあって
螺貝を吹いたり、ダンスを教えてもらったり
されている方もいらっしゃいました。
指名されなかったのが残念（笑）
カップルや家族で音楽に合わせて
踊れる時間もあったのですが、
夫が恥ずかしがり参加できず残念。

また、ビュッフェの料理も美味しかったです。
街ではハンバーガーなどアメリカンな料理を
食べることが多かったので
ハワイの料理が食べられてよかったてす。
ウェルカムドリンクのマイタイが美味しい！

その後のアルコールの注文の仕方が
わからなかったです。

あと、会場に行き着くのにも迷って
人に聞きながらで遅刻してしまったので、
時間に余裕を持って行かれることを
おすすめします。

ヒルトンハワイアンビレッジは
たくさんのスポットがあったので
ショーの後もお店を見てまわったりできました。

Sarah was a great guide. Patient with us and friendly!! Scenery is spectacular. Highly recommend.

I participated in a 2-hour mountain bike course. I was very worried about the weather after arriving in Hawaii, but I was able to join the tour without getting rained on☆

There were three cheerful foreign tour conductors, a foreign couple, a solo foreign participant, a Japanese couple, and our group, making a total of about 15 people biking around the island. Since I wasn't used to riding at first, it was great that they provided ample practice time.

It felt like we were touring movie locations, as there were famous spots used in movies like Jurassic Park and Jumanji, which would definitely excite those familiar with the films! ^ ^

Once we went to a slightly elevated area, we were greeted with stunning views, and the surroundings were filled with nature, allowing us to feel the negative ions!

The tour conductors were very nice, possibly because our group was showing such great enthusiasm! Even if you don't understand English, communication is totally possible! They took a lot of photos for us and were very kind.

The hotel pickup started around 10 AM, and we returned to Waikiki before 4 PM, so we had a lot of fun! The kids in our group also praised it as the most enjoyable part of this trip☆

It's definitely best to wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and that are easy to move in! You might want to think that you will get dirty regardless of whether it rains or not. ^ ^

マウンテンバイクの2時間コースに参加しました。
ハワイに到着してからお天気がとても心配でしたが、雨に振られることなくツアーに参加できました☆

陽気な外人ツアーコンダクターが3人、外国人夫婦？とお一人様参加の外国人と、日本人夫婦と私たちグループで計15名ほどで島をマウンテンバイクで走るというものでした。
最初は乗りなれてないものなので、しっかり練習時間も設けてくれていたので良かったです。

映画のロケ地を巡る感じだったので、要所要所にジュラシックパークやジュマンジなどといった有名映画で使われた跡などもあり、映画をご存知の方であれば興奮度も増すのではないでしょうか？^ ^

少し小高い場所へ行ったらとても素晴らしい景色が溢れていたり、周りが本当に自然だらけでマイナスイオンを感じられます！

ツアーコンダクターの方も私たちのグループがとびきりいい反応を見せていたからか良くしてくれました！
英語が分からなくてもコミュニケーションは全然とれます！
写真もたくさん撮っていただいて優しかったです笑

朝10時ごろにホテルのピックアップが始まり、ワイキキに帰ってきたのも16時前とかだったので、だいぶ楽しめました！
一緒にいたグループの子たちも今回の旅で1番楽しかったと絶賛しています☆

服装は確かに汚れてもいい服、動きやすい服で行くのが1番です！
雨が降る降らないに関係なく汚れると思ったほうがいいかもですね^ ^

This is my second time participating. The weather was great, and I was able to see many fish and turtles. The Japanese guide was also available, which made it enjoyable.

2回目の参加です。
天候にも恵まれたくさんの魚や亀も見れました。
日本語ガイドもあり楽しめました。

This was my first time ziplining and I had a blast! Ka'a'awa Valley (Jurassic Valley) is one of my favorite places on Oahu and the ziplining tour is the best way to see it! Soaring over the trees with breathtaking views of the lush green valley was quite a thrill. All 7 of the lines had amazing views in every direction.

The guides were fun and helped to ease the minds of anyone who was nervous. You can tell they really enjoy their job and are passionate about Hawaii.

On the ride to and from the ziplining base camp at the back of the valley we passed by numerous filming locations. We saw Hurley's golf course from Lost, Godzilla's footprint, the Jurassic Park log, and many others. It was so cool getting to see where so many great movies and tv shows were filmed.

I came to Hawaii with my children to create memories, and I participated to see dolphins and honu (sea turtles). We were blessed with great weather and had a wonderful time. We were lucky enough to see a whale as well!

We also went snorkeling, played in the ocean, and enjoyed the slide! One of my kids got seasick and couldn't play, but it all became great memories. The staff were cheerful and kind, and I would love to participate again!

It was absolutely amazing! The exhilaration of cycling while enjoying the magnificent scenery was unbeatable! Our guide led the way and was always attentive, which made us feel safe. We stopped along the way to take lots of fun photos! Our guide spoke a little Japanese, which was great. This became the best memory of our trip to Hawaii. Thank you!

The hour flew by.
I felt at ease because there was someone to guide us both before and after.
It was a bit harder than I expected, but I had a great time.

1時間あっという間でした。
前と後ろに案内してくれる方がいたので安心でした。
少し思ったよりハードでしたが楽しかったです。

The weather was great, and it was the best! Thanks to the Japanese staff, I was able to receive thorough explanations, and the foreign staff also played along with us and were very kind, so I was extremely satisfied!!!

It was my first time parasailing, and I was nervous since it was overseas, but the pickup was smooth! The captain and the guide were cheerful and communicated well, and the scenery was absolutely amazing!

初めてのパラセーリングで、かつ海外で不安だったのですがピックアップもスムーズでした！
船長さん、ガイドさんも明るくコミュニケーションとってくれて、景色もとても最高！

I was healed by the great nature of Hawaii.
It felt wonderful to ride a horse in such magnificent surroundings.
One hour feels a bit short, so I recommend two hours.
The names of the horses I rode were Dr. Pepper and Wilama, and they were very good.

壮大な自然の中を馬に乗って気持ちよかったです。
一時間だと物足りないので二時間がおすすめです。
乗った馬の名前はドクターペッパーとウイラマで、とてもいい子でした。

I participated in a 1-hour mountain bike tour! There were 8 of us in total, including 4 others from our group. Before the departure time, we had practice time, and even as someone who rode an electric bike for the first time, I got used to it quickly. The initial uphill was tiring, but after that, I enjoyed riding in the gentle nature. There was a participant whose chain came off, but they quickly fixed it. Since it was a 1-hour course, we had about 2 hours of waiting time until the return bus, which felt a bit long. The 1-hour course felt a bit short, so if I participate again, I would like to join the 2-hour course! 😊

マウンテンバイクツアー1時間コースに参加しました！私たちグループの他4人、合計8人でした。出発時間の前に練習時間があり、電動バイクに初めて乗る私でもすぐに慣れました。序盤の坂道は疲れましたが、その後は緩やかな大自然の中気持ち良く走りました。途中、チェーンが外れてしまった参加者がいましたが、すぐに対応し直していました。今回は1時間コースだったため、帰りのバスまでに待ち時間が2時間ほどあり時間を持て余してしまいました。1時間コースだと物足りないため、次回参加するなら2時間コースで参加したいです(^^)

It was a bit cold but lots of fun!!

This luau displayed music, dancing, and chants from cultures all over Polynesia, not just Hawaii. This luau was very engaging and was a great time with friends. One welcome mai tai was included in our package and additional drinks were available for purchase. The food was great, my favorites was the kalua pig and malasada dessert.

The view from the luau was beautiful, we were able to see the sunset from the rooftop at Hilton Hawaiian Village. Parking was validated so even if you are not within walking distance of the hotel it is not a problem to park there.

An activity I was determined to participate in while in Hawaii.

I truly recommend it!! The view of Waikiki from 150 meters is amazing, and the wind and light felt wonderful. Although I was a bit nervous before flying, the staff and fellow passengers on the boat were all great people, which turned my nerves into excitement.

☆ You will touch the water briefly at the end before landing on the boat. It often seems like you only get your feet wet, so if you want to get more wet, it might be good to communicate your wishes in simple English (Japanese was hardly understood).

☆ Photos are $30. You can receive them on an SD card.

☆ I read the reviews and was prepared, but the boat sways more than I expected! You'll be waiting on a constantly swaying boat except when it's your turn to fly, so even if you're usually good with motion sickness, I think it's better to take some medication. That way, you can enjoy it until the end.

☆ You will need to tip when getting off the boat and during transportation.

If I have the chance to go to Hawaii again, I would love to experience this again!

ハワイで絶対参加しようと決めていたアクティビティ。
高さはもちろん150mで。

本っ当におススメです！！
150mから見るワイキキの景色は素晴らしく、風も光も全てが気持ち良かったです。
飛ぶ前は多少緊張するものの、スタッフやボートの同乗者皆さんがノリのいい良い人達で緊張がいい興奮に変わりました。

☆最後少しだけ着水します。その後ボートに着地。着水は見た感じ結構足先だけのことも多いので、もし結構水に入りたいなら簡単な英語ででも(日本語はほとんど通じませんでした)希望を伝えると良いかも。

☆写真は30$。SDカードで貰えます。

☆レヴュー読んで覚悟してましたが、思った以上にボート揺れます！自分が飛ぶ時以外はずっと揺れるボートの上で待機なので、酔いに強い人でも酔い止め薬は飲んだ方が良いと思います。その方が最後まで楽しめます。

☆ボートから降りるときと送迎時はチップ必要です。


もしもう一度ハワイに行く機会があれば、また体験したいくらい楽しかったです！！

I was anxious, but I'm glad I went for the 150m. The parasailing was of course fun, but I also enjoyed being on the boat that was going pretty fast while others were flying.

不安だったけど150mにしてよかったです。
パラセイリングはもちろん楽しかったけど、他の人が飛んでいる時、結構スピードを出して走行するボートに乗っているのも楽しかったです。

We participated with a total of 14 family members after the family ceremony. Since we had a 3-year-old child with us, we only joined the activities involving rides, but the Jurassic Park movie location and the jungle tour in the Kualoa mountains were quite bumpy, and the child enjoyed it like a roller coaster. The lunch time was a bit short, about 40 minutes, so we hurriedly ate, and afterwards, we had a farm tour with tastings. Since my aunt and parents are in their 60s, we moved around by rides, which seemed manageable for them physically. Everyone had a great time, and we took a lot of photos, so we were very satisfied!

家族挙式後の両家総勢14人で参加。3歳の子供もいたので、乗り物のアクティビティだけの参加でしたが、ジュラシックパーク映画ロケ地や、クアロアの山のジャングルツアーは結構車が揺れて子供はジェットコースターみたいで楽しんでました。ランチの時間が少し短く40分くらいだったのでバタバタご飯食べて、その後は農園ツアーで試食付き。叔母や両親も60代なので、全て乗り物に乗って移動だったので体力的にも大丈夫なようでした。みんなで楽しめたし写真もたくさん撮ってもらって満足です！

I went in mid-February. I tried to make a reservation with Captain Cruise since they can get you close, but it was fully booked, so I made a reservation here instead. It didn't matter at all; we arrived right at the sandbar and were able to play on it!

It was a bit cold since it was February, but it was possible to go into the sea. When the sun was shining, it felt warm, but when it was hidden by clouds, it felt a bit chilly. After that, we had lunch on the boat and went to a coral reef spot to snorkel. It was also cold there, and we joked that if we didn't dive in, there was no point in coming. However, we gave up after about 10 minutes. Everyone looked cold. After that, we were able to get warm drinks on the boat, which was nice.

2月中旬に行きました。キャプテンクルーズだと近くまで行けるとのことで予約しようとしたら予約埋まって、こちらで予約しました。全然そんなの関係なくて、普通にサンドバーの岸に着いて、サンドバーの上で遊べました！

2月なのでやや寒かったけど海に入ることは可能でした。太陽に照らされていると暖かいですが、雲に隠れるとちょっと肌寒いって感じ。そのあと船上でランチして、サンゴ礁スポットに行きシュノーケルしました。これまた同じく寒くて、潜らないと来た意味ないねって話ながら入りましたけど10ぷんくらいでギブアップ。みんな寒そうでした。そのあとは船上で暖かい飲み物もらえてよかった。

I participated from 130m! First, I was picked up, checked in, and then boarded the boat. The reception counter, the boat driver, and the guide were all local people, so there were some parts of the instructions and explanations that were difficult in English, but I could kind of understand through gestures.

There was no time to be scared since it was my turn to jump right away! (laughs) Once I got up, the view was incredibly beautiful and moving. I got a bit nauseous while waiting for others to jump, so I think it would be good for those who are worried to bring motion sickness medication!

I'm glad I participated! It was so much fun.

まず、送迎してもらい受付を済ませ乗船という流れです。
受付カウンターと船の運転手、ガイドさんはすべて現地の方なので注意事項や説明は英語で難しい部分もありましたが、ジェスチャーなどでなんとなく分かる感じです。

暇なく回ってくる順番で飛ぶので、怖いと言ってる暇が無かったです！笑
実際に上に上がるとすごく景色が綺麗で感動でした。
他の人が飛んでいる待ち時間で少し酔ってしまったので、心配な方は酔い止めを持参したら良いと思います！

Wow, this team is amazing! All of the staff members are so nice and friendly and they made everyone on the boat feel so comfortable.  We did the 1000 ft line and I am so glad that we did! The views were amazing and it felt like just the right amount of time in the air. The check in was very easy to find and they even offer to take photos for you if you want to purchase them afterwards. Definitely something fun to do and they are located in such a convenient area for anyone in Waikiki. 

I had previously interacted with dolphins in Japan, but I was drawn to participate in this rare activity where you can swim with wild dolphins! I chose this tour particularly because of its 30 years of experience and the presence of Japanese staff, and it was definitely the right choice!! From the pick-up, the energetic Japanese staff elevated our spirits and made the tour exciting. Once we got on the boat, the foreign staff were all friendly, making it a fun experience from start to finish!

The wild dolphins exceeded my expectations, swimming beneath us in incredible numbers and coming back to us multiple times! On that day, they even showcased spin jumps! After that, we moved to the snorkeling spot, where we encountered sea turtles and were able to swim with them. On the return boat ride, we even spotted whales that were in Hawaii during this season!

The staff promptly pointed out the dolphins, sea turtles, and whales, so we hardly missed anything! Additionally, we got to play on a slide that goes into the sea, and there was also a hula dance by the staff, making it a luxurious tour that never got boring! It was worth more than the price we paid!!

日本でイルカと触れ合ったことはありましたが、野生のイルカと泳げるという貴重なアクティビティに惹かれ参加しました！特にツアーを始めて30年という実績がある点と日本人スタッフがいる点で選びましたが、大正解でした！！お迎えから気持ちを高めてくれる元気な日本人スタッフさんがツアーを盛り上げてくれ、船に着いてからも外国人スタッフさんもフレンドリーな方ばかりで始終楽しかったです！そして野生のイルカは想像を超える数のイルカが私たちの下を泳いでくれ、何度も来てくれました！この日はスピンジャンプも披露してくれました！その後シュノーケルの場所に移動し、ここでウミガメにも遭遇し一緒に泳ぐことができ、帰りの船ではこの時期にハワイにきているクジラにも遭遇できました！
イルカもウミガメもクジラもすぐにスタッフさんが教えてくれるので見逃すことがほとんどありませんでした！
他にも海に飛び込む滑り台で遊べたり、スタッフの方のフラダンスもあり、飽きることのない贅沢なツアーでした！お値段以上の価値がありました！！
