We took the morning tour and we got a lot of time to snorkel and hung out with 3 sea turtles (with a safe distance away of course!). I appreciate how our local staff emphasized the importance of keeping safe the reef & the animals who call the ocean home. We got access to paddle boards and delicious coffee! Thanks again for a great time!

We had so much fun on the Spirit of Aloha Waikiki Sunset Cruise with Cocktails! The crew offered great service along with upbeat music and a great vibe. Our sailing occurred on a bit of a rainy afternoon, however the captain did a great job navigating us away from the rain. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset with enjoying cocktails and food. I couldn't recommend Spirit of Aloha Waikiki Sunset Cruise with Cocktails more!

From start to end this was a great day on the water! We had a great crew that operated the sandbar excursion flawlessly. On our day we had a bit of rain, however this did not prevent anyone from having fun. The food was great as well as the bar service. I highly recommend Captain Bob's Kaneohe Bay Sandbar Snorkel & BBQ Lunch Boat Tour.

We took the free transportation that was offered, which was great.

Got to the boat and quickly got out in the bay. We had TONS of time at the sand bar. I recommend bringing a floatie or ball of ton want. We joined in with the volleyball they brought which was so fun! We stayed there during lunch so when we were done eating we went back out.

Saw more sea turtles than I can count! Even saw some on the sand bar.

Snorkeling we had plenty of time and all equipment was provided.

Definitely one of the best excursions we did while there. We definitely do it again!

We loved this snorkel experience from beginning to end! The staff was friendly, encouraging, knowledgeable with the ocean, fish and answered all our questions. The food was delicious and even the hot chocolate was yummy. When we go back to Oahu in the future, we will do this particular cruise again. I recommend it to everyone of all ages.

Honestly this was my favorite activity. Staff were amazing and attentive. We had an appropriate amount of time to snorkel, hang out at the sandbar and the bbq was awesome! Mahalo for such a great experience.

We had a great time on Captain Bob's Kaneohe Bay Sandbar Snorkel & BBQ Lunch tour! Everything about the trip was well planned and very organized! The sandbar was a great experience because you are walking in shallow water in the middle of a bay!! The snorkeling was my favorite part. The reef that we snorkeled on was crescent shaped. Being the crew did such a great job of watching us - I was able to swim around the entire sight without being in fear of danger. It was such a peaceful experience! I even had a turtle swim right under me! I he was just about a foot underneath! The lunch was perfect and delicious. It was cooked right on the boat while we were on the sandbar!
A need touch that I appreciated was that they had laundry baskets underneath the seats on the boat. We kept out belongings in them and this kept them from getting all wet and sandy!

I applaud the crew of young people, however they were too laid back & very unprofessional. “Dinner” was just a takeout tray of food. How am I expected to eat while I bob up and down on the ocean. Table, uhhh NO…The crew was more concerned with their good time & conversation. The ship was beautiful, the view was lovely but definitely not worth what I paid. I did the same sail for $50 minus the “dinner”.

We went out on a cloudy morning accompanied by showers. The waves were choppy too. The sandbar was beautiful despite the weather, didn’t see any turtles on the sandbar but my daughter and husband who went with the snorkeling group saw turtles by the reef. The current was stronger there though but Kevin, the tour guide made sure everyone was safe. There was not enough paddle boards nor floaties for everyone on board and some groups hugged theirs till the end. We shared our paddle board with another couple. Trevor was okay but he tended to give attention to certain groups whereas Kevin was the one whom I have noticed that was attentive to everyone.

Activity was well organized and informative. Beautiful sandbar and reef snorkeling.

Had a wonderful time, the crew was outstanding. Only wish music was playing outside as well inside.

We had a great time on the snorkel trip! The crew was very friendly and helpful and the setup (paddle birds, floaties, etc) was great. We were skeptical at first that we would see any turtles, but one came right up to the boat and swam around with us while we were swimming and then we saw several more on the snorkel trip around the reef. Highly recommend this activity!

Fresh cooked BBQ. Good snorkeling opportunities. Had a disposable underwater camera for purchase available.

This was one of the best experiences ever!! The crew was so friendly and helpful, lunch was great and the snorkeling was amazing!!! Fun for all ages!!! I will definitely be doing this again when I come back to the island!!

As a family of four with two teens, we had an excellent time with Mike and his team! The pickup site at aloha landing at Sheraton Waikiki was easy to find and they were on time at 9:15 am. It was a short trip to kaneohe Bay and then we transferred to the boat to the sandbar. When we arrived it was fairly breezy, the water was about mid thigh. For those with sensitive feet good to bring slipper socks and since a bit cool, a long sleeved rash guard was helpful. We explored the sandbar which is 6 mi long and there was a volleyball as well. The lunch was super delicious hamburgers, beans, chips and drinks. We saw a few turtles, then headed to the reef. Two of us snorkeled And we were given snorkel gear, flippers and life vests. We were given about an hour or maybe less but it seemed ample time to go around the entire reef! We saw a lot of fish! When we got back on the boat they poured warm water on us and we also drink hot chocolate which was nice. Two in our family stayed in the boat and they still enjoyed watching from the boat, plus they took our pics so that was nice. Everyone was courteous, great customer service. I would definitely go again when we come back to Oahu!!

More than half of the participants were non-Japanese, and the guide's explanations were primarily in English. I had expected a more detailed Japanese-style tour, so I was a bit disappointed, but the staff were kind and attentive, which made it enjoyable in its own way. One of the staff members is Japanese, so they can assist in Japanese if needed.

At the sandbar, the water was up to about waist level. On the day of the tour, the wind and waves were strong, making it a bit challenging to float, but I was able to enjoy swimming and snorkeling. If there had been no wind, the water might have been clearer and more beautiful.

There were no sea turtles at the sandbar, but I was able to spot a few from the boat on the way there and back.

I would like to participate again and try it in calmer conditions next time.

参加者は半分以上が日本人以外で、ガイドの説明も基本はすべて英語でした。日本式のきめ細かいツアーを予想していたので、少し期待が外れましたが、スタッフは優しく丁寧に対応してくださりそれはそれで楽しめました。スタッフの一人が日本人なので必要ならば日本語で対応してもらえます。

サンドバーでは、腰の上あたりまで水がありました。当日は風と波が強く、浮かんでいると流されるので、少し大変でしたが、泳いだり、シュノーケリングをしたりと楽しめました。風がなければ、もっと水が澄んでいてきれいなのかもしれません。

ウミガメはサンドバーではいませんでしたが、行き帰りの船の上から数匹確認できました。

もう一度参加して、今度は風のない状況で試してみたいです。

We had so much fun on the cruise! We sat in the nets and had a terrific view plus great conversation with a family next to us. I think we had the best seats on the boat. The crew was funny, kind and helpful. I highly recommend it!

This was a great experience, the staff is great and friendly!! had a wonderful time with the family out on the sandbar, caught some great pictures and videos of sea turtles.

I had a great time visiting the Kaneohe sandbar with the Captain Bruce crew. They were very welcoming and provided guidance and supervision during the trip to make sure everyone was safe. I was able to see many turtles and beautiful corals while also enjoying the paddle board provided by the crew. I highly recommend this trip for anyone looking to spend a great morning (or afternoon) to enjoy some of the best nature in Oahu.

I cannot say enough great things about this experience! We spent the day listening to music, playing volleyball on the sandbar, snorkeling and swimming with turtles. It was absolutely amazing. They grilled burgers, provided drinks and the crew was super funny. Not only was the crew funny but we lost our GoPro in the water while snorkeling and they ended up going back the next day and diving for it - and they found it! Thank you to the amazing crew, we will definitely be back!!

Awesome day spent with this tour! The sandbar and views were very beautiful. Lunch was very good, we had burgers which they cooked on the grill on the boat while we were hanging out at the sandbar, came with drinks and chips which was very filling. After we went turtle watching and saw SO many turtles, definitely more than 10! The kids were very excited to see them. Also saw many fishes at the snorkeling sight, tour guides were very helpful and safety was their number 1 priority.

This was an awesome snorkel trip! I have been on many throughout the years and this was by far the best. The staff was amazing and hilarious! They took us to cool spots, we saw turtles, and had amazing views. I liked that it was a small group of people. I would highly recommend this snorkeling trip to everyone I know!

Such a fantastic experience for someone whose never been snorkeling before. Great for beginners and family friendly! Rain comes and goes but the sandbar and the ocean was still warm and beautiful. I would like to thanks Trevor for helping me overcome my fear of the ocean overall. Lol. Without him I wouldn’t have gone beyond the sandbar. You rock!! I had the pleasure of seeing turtles, small colorful fishes, and of course the beautiful reef. Thank you Captain Bruce for such a great hospitality. I will definitely come back with a group of families in the near future!

It is so safe and fun, both my sons ( 6 years and 1.5 years old) enjoyed this trip and the snorkeling, and of course BBQ is the best after playing in water.

It was amazing to see such a beautiful sea! I was very satisfied to encounter turtles as well. I brought my 0-year-old child, and there were no issues at all. I would like to go again when my child is a bit older!

I had a blast on this sunset sail. It was the perfect "pau hana" (happy hour, end of work day)!

For drinks, they had cocktails, beer, wine, & non-alcoholic drinks. I really liked the appetizers (chicken, rice, and veggies). It was just the right amount of food to go with the Mai Tais that I had!

This is a docked catamaran. Unlike beach catamarans, you will not have to walk knee-deep in the water to board the boat. You'll be perfectly dry as you board the boat on the pier (as seen in the photo). This makes it a great choice for those who want to dress up a bit for the sunset sail, those traveling with little ones, guests with mobility issues, etc.

I loved that this was conveniently located in WAIKIKI! It's right at the Hilton Hawaiian Village (not to be confused with the Hilton Waikiki - which is a different hotel).

I've been to Oahu many times and had always wanted to go to the sandbar but didn't get the chance to until now.
I booked the morning tour on July 8th of this year, and boy it was a beautiful day. It was cloudy the day I arrived in Oahu so I was worried about the weather.
Captain Bruce had 2 boats full of tourists out that day. We didn't meet Captain Bruce. Instead we got Captain Robin and his assistant Irvin.
Both men were so nice and helpful. They let you go off on your own, but at the same time, kept an eye on you from a distance, to make sure you don't hurt yourself or get in trouble when you're out in the water.
There were lots of watersports to do, all provided free of charge. Chips and non-alcoholic beverages were also provided free of charge.
I had a wonderful time.
The views were stunning anywhere you look. I want to go back there again. I will pick them again. Their price is cheaper compared to the others, and the staffs are awesome friendly people.
It bothered me that many people left without tipping the crew. That was not cool.
