My daughter insisted, so I participated. Personally, I thought, "A pool in Hawaii? The beautiful blue ocean is waiting for us..." But surprisingly, I had a great time! The wave pool had real waves, and the various slides were very satisfying. The kids' pool was also impressive!

Regarding the shave ice gift, I earnestly explained the situation to the boy who came to pick us up, but he kept saying, "I don't understand." He asked various people after we got off the bus, but still couldn't find out. I appreciated his earnest attitude, so in the end, I felt like saying, "Oh well." However, since it was advertised as a "gift," I really wanted it. That was a bit disappointing.

By the way, on the bus ride there, the topic of tour prices came up (90% of the bus was Japanese), and the man next to me was upset, saying, "I'm paying $8 more for the same tour!" (laughs) It's interesting how prices can vary for the same content. I happened to apply through this site because ALAN's Japan office is right next to the supermarket I always go to, located behind my daughter's cram school. As someone who was a bit unfamiliar with just communicating through the website, I thought, "It might be reassuring to have a nearby office in case something happens," which was a strange reason for choosing this site. Fortunately, nothing happened, and I returned home safely.

By the way, I passed by this morning, and due to the unusual heat in Tokyo, a cat was sprawled out at the entrance of the building, looking exhausted.

娘がどうしてもと言うので参加しました。
私自身は「ハワイに来てまでプール？せっかく青い海が待っているのに・・・」
と思いましたが、なかなかどうして！心から楽しめました。
プールは波のプールも本格的な波だし、各種スライダーも大満足。子どもプールもあなどれませんよ！
シｪーブアイスプレゼントの件はピックアップに来た係りの男の子に一生懸命説明したのですが
「僕には分かりません」の一点張りでバスを降りてからもいろいろな人に聞いて回ってくれましたがやはり分からず。
彼の一生懸命な態度に好感が持てたので最後には「まっいいか」と言う気分になりましたが、
“プレゼント！”とうたっているからには欲しかったなぁ~。チョッとそれが残念。

ところで行きのバスの中でツアー価格の話になり（バスの中は９割日本人）隣のおじさんが同じツアー内容で
「俺のほうが８ドルも高い！」と憤慨してました（笑）同じ内容でも色々なんですね~。
私がこのサイトから申し込んだのは偶然にもALANさんの日本オフィスが超御近所でいつも行くスーパーのお隣。
娘の塾の裏と言うローケーション。サイト上だけのやり取りで少々慣れない私は立派なオフィスを見上げながら
「なんかあった時近所なら心強いかも」という変な理由でこのサイトから申し込みました。
別に“なんかあった”訳もなく無事に帰国しましたが・・・。
ちなみに今朝も通りかかりましたが、この東京の異常な暑さでビルの入り口で猫がグッタリしてました。

This time, I only took a scenic flight in a Cessna, but the view of Hawaii from above was incredibly beautiful and moving. During the flight, the staff provided very detailed explanations, and it was thrilling to take off in between regular airplanes landing and taking off at Honolulu Airport. The conversations through the headphones felt very authentic and exciting. Next time, I want to try piloting!

今回はセスナの遊覧飛行のみでしたが、上空からのハワイはとっても綺麗で感激しました。
遊覧中も係員の方もとっても詳細に説明してくれて、ホノルル空港の滑走路を普通の飛行機
が離着陸する合間をぬって離陸するのがスリリングですし、ヘットホンでの会話が本格的で
わくわくしました。この次は操縦にチャレンジしてみたいです。

The view from above is quite different from what you see on the ground. You can't really understand it through ground sightseeing. The staff provides clear explanations about various places like Hanauma Bay and Pearl Harbor. You can see the beautiful blue ocean and the lush green mountains all at once, and it was truly healing to experience the beauty of Hawaii. However, due to air currents, the aircraft can shake a bit, which was a little surprising, but it became a good memory. If you're prone to motion sickness, it might be a good idea to take some motion sickness medication beforehand.

空の上から見る景色は、地上でみる景色とではひと味違います。地上での観光ではわからないですよね。
ハナウマ湾、パールハーバーとかいろいろスタッフの方がわかりやすく説明をしてくれます。
キレイな青い海や緑いっぱの山々も一度に見る事ができ、ハワイの美しさに癒されました。
でも気流の関係で機体が揺れることもあるので、ちょっとビックリしましたが、それもいい思い出になりました。
酔いやすい人は酔い止めを飲んでおくといいかもしれません

There are various attractions in the park, but the highlight is definitely the Shaka! (I hear there are only a few of them in the world.) It's quite scary! But it's thrilling and fun!! I tried bodyboarding in the wave pool. The waves kept crashing in, and I couldn't stop laughing. I thought I wouldn't want to go to a pool even in Hawaii, but it felt like I could experience the local vibe here. Unlike in Japan, you don't have to wait in long lines for the attractions, so I was able to enjoy the whole day.

園内には様々なアトラクションがあるけれど、中でも一押しはシャカですよ！（世界でも数ヶ所しかないらしい）
かなりコワイ！けどスリルがあって面白い！！波が出るプールではボディーボードに挑戦。波がどんどん押し寄せてくるので、笑いが止まらなかったぁぁぁ。
ハワイにきてまでプールとも思ったけど、ハワイでローカル気分も味わえる感じ。アトラクションも日本みたいに並ぶことはあまりないから、一日満喫できましたよん。

It took about an hour to arrive from Waikiki. (I fell asleep, so I'm not sure...) After arriving, the guide provided information, and we were free to enjoy ourselves until the meeting time for the return trip. Since I participated in the standard option, lunch was not included. So, I bought a hot dog at a snack stand in the park. There were tables with umbrellas, so it felt like a picnic while eating. The juice was a big size even in the regular option, so one was just right for two people.

The park itself isn't very large, but there are various facilities, and I was able to have a fun day. The weather was nice, so I applied plenty of sunscreen, but Hawaii is formidable! I definitely got sunburned... I didn't think much about it while playing, but it's also a part of the memories!

ワイキキからは１時間かからないくらいで到着したかなぁ。（寝てしまったのでさだかではありません…）
到着後はガイドの人から案内があり、帰りの集合時間までは自由に遊ぶことができた。
スタンダードで参加したので、ランチはなし。なので、園内のスナックスタンドでホットドックを購入。パラソル付きのテーブルもあるので、ピクニック気分で食べれましたよ。ジュースは普通のサイズでもビックサイズなので、2人で１つで丁度よかった。
園内自体そんなに広くはないけれど、様々な施設があって１日楽しく過ごす事ができた。天気がよかったので、日焼け止めを十分に塗ったけど、恐るべしハワイ！やっぱり焼けていた…遊んでいる間はあまり気にもしなかったけど、これも思い出です！

I remembered the beauty of the southern country's scenery from above when I went parasailing in New Caledonia, so I decided to visit even though it was a bit pricey. This was in March 2003, but I think it hasn't changed, so I’ll write about it. The person who picked me up at the Waikiki Resort Hotel had a serious demeanor. Could they be the president? We traveled comfortably in a minivan to the back of Honolulu Airport. Entering the airport from the back felt exciting. When the hangar opened, there was a twin-engine Cessna (I think) parked inside. Without much of a procedure, we smoothly taxied and stopped for a while. When I was told, "It's a fighter jet," two F-14 Tomcats flew by in parallel, with jet flames extending like fireworks just about 10 meters in front of me, like a scene from a movie. I was suddenly thrilled. After that, the flight was very satisfying, with views of Pearl Harbor and the orange lights of Honolulu. As I write this, I'm reminiscing and thinking I want to ride again. By the way, this voice center looks similar to the "Tokyo Restaurant Guide" in appearance and atmosphere. I was nervous being the first to post.

昔ニューカレドニアでパラセールをした時に、上空から見る南の国の景色の美しさを思い出し少し高いけど行って見ました。2003年3月の話ですが、変わらないと思うので書きます。ワイキキリゾートホテルまで迎えに来てくれたのは、まじめな雰囲気の方。もしかして社長さん？快適なミニバンでホノルル空港の裏まで行きました。なんとなくわくわくする裏から入る空港。格納庫を開くと双発のセスナ（だと思う）が止まっている。ほとんど手続きらしいものもせずにスルスルとタクシーイングしてしばらく止まっていた。「戦闘機ですよ」と言われてみたらF１４トムキャットという戦闘機が二機並列で目の前をジェットの炎を目の前１０メートル（？！）近く花火のように伸ばしながら、映画のシーンのように飛んで行った。いきなり感激。そのあとは真珠湾だの、ホノルルのオレンジ色の明かりだのととても満足の行くフライトでした。また乗りたいなと書きながら感慨に耽っています。ところで、このボイスセンターって「東京レストランガイド」に見た目とか雰囲気似ていますね。書き込み第一号で緊張しました。
