I didn't have high expectations for the food, but the warm drinks (self-service with free drinks) and the meals were warm and delicious. Besides seeing whales, there were activities like lei-making, ukulele classes, and hula lessons, so even if we didn't see any whales, we could still enjoy the cruising and activities. During our trip, it seemed like we encountered a mother and calf whale, and they were frequently surfacing for air. (Unfortunately, we didn't get a clear view of their heads or tails...) However, most of the explanations were in English, and sometimes the Japanese announcements were delayed or omitted. Still, the staff was cheerful and bright, shouting "Whale!" Overall, you can enjoy the cruising experience by itself.

食べ物は余り期待していなかったのですが、
温かい飲み物（セルフサービスはフリードリンク）で
食事も温かく美味しかったです。
鯨を見ることもさることながら、アクティビティとして
レイ作りやウクレレ教室・フラレッスンもあり
万が一鯨が見られなくてもクルージングとアクティビティで
楽しめるようになっていました。
私たちが参加した回は親子の鯨だったみたいで
頻回に呼吸をしていました。
（残念ながら頭や尾をはっきりくっきり観る事は無かったですが・・・・）
ただ殆どの説明が英語で日本語の案内が遅くなる事や日本語の説明が抜ける事もしばしば・・・
それでもスタッフが陽気で明るく「くじらぁ~」と叫んでくれます。
総合的にみてクルージングだけでも楽しめます。

The waves were high. The water was choppy and we LOVED it! No whales but it was so pretty we didn't mind. The rain check is nice. The food was good and we would do it again in a heartbeat.

We did the Makani Catamaran breakfast day cruise as a family and it was one of the most relaxing activities we did in Hawaii. The views were beautiful and the crew was extremely accommodating and informative when we had questions. We were there in late December so we were hoping to see whales & turtles but only saw dolphins, but the dolphins were delightful, they were spinner dolphins and they gave us a show and also swam right alongside the catamaran so we were able to see them very close up and get pictures. My kids are 15 & 20 so they also enjoyed it. There was a family with a young child and he seemed to do well, but if you have children that do not like to be somewhat contained for 2 hrs or are prone to getting out of control I would not recommend it for them. This is not a place for toddlers and small children to be running around. I would do this cruise again if we went back and I highly recommend it to others.

I signed up because my elementary school child wanted to. I thought I might not enjoy the thrilling activities, but I ended up having a great time on almost all of them. The meals included were also nice, and thanks to the instructor, bodyboarding was really fun and the time flew by. I thought I wouldn't be able to ride the shark, but since my child wanted to try, I gave it a shot, and it was over in no time. Overall, the weather turned out great, and it was a fun day.

小学低学年に引っ張られて、申し込みました。
ダメかもと思ってたスリリング系もほとんどのって、とても楽しみました。
食事付もよかったし、
ボディボードも、インストラクターのおかげで、とても楽しく、時間が短かく思った程です。
シャカは無理っと思ってたけど、
低学年が乗りたがって、乗ってみたら、あっという間でした。
とにかく、天気も良くなって楽しい日でした。

I personaly would have booked this attraction for all 5 days of our vacation. The staff was awesome, even our shuttle driver to and from the attraction made this activity worth every penny!!!

We participated as a family of seven, ranging from 2 to 67 years old, on New Year's Eve. It was very lucky that it was sunny only while we were walking on the sandbar.

Before boarding the boat, we were treated to famous donuts, and even though the BBQ time was a bit delayed, it was fine.

I was worried that my husband and my father, both 67 years old, might find it boring, but they borrowed wetsuits and got into the ocean. In the end, they only entered the sea on this tour in Hawaii, so I’m glad they participated.

The fathers didn’t do much in particular, but they enjoyed watching their 2-year-old grandchild swim with the floaties we brought while walking from the boat to the sandbar, which was waist-deep. They also enjoyed taking commemorative photos in the sea. The pictures turned out great.

The BBQ was delicious. We were all moved to see sea turtles. Since we were wearing wetsuits, we didn’t mind the cold.

大晦日に2歳から６７歳まで家族７人で参加しました。サンドバーで散歩する時だけ、晴れてとてもラッキーでした。

船に乗る前に有名な？ドーナツをふるまっていただいてBBQの時間が、少し遅くても、大丈夫でした。

67歳の私と主人の父達、２人にはつまらないかな、、と心配していましたがウエットスーツを借りて、海に入水。結局、２人はハワイで、このツアーでしか海に入らなかったので参加してよかったです。

父たちは特に何をするわけではなかったですが、
船からサンドバーまで、腰までの深さのところを歩くので持参した浮き輪で泳ぐ２歳の孫を見たり、
海で、記念撮影できた、という事が楽しかったようです。いい顔で撮れてます。

BBQも美味しかったです。
海亀も会えて家族全員感動しました。
ウエットを着ていたので寒さは気になりませんでした。

This time, I signed up for a plan that included transportation but no meals, just drinks. A Japanese guide came to pick us up, and we were able to get to the location smoothly. It was a bit chilly on the day due to strong winds, but we enjoyed the attractions enough. I think it's suitable for families and groups of friends.

今回は送迎付きの食事なし、飲み物のみのプランに申込ました。ピックアップは日本人のガイドの方が来てくれ、スムーズに現地まで行くことが出来ました。当日は風が強かった為少し肌寒かったです。でもアトラクションは十分楽しめました。家族連れや友達同士に向くアトラクションだと思います。

This was fantastic - recommended by friends, enjoyed by us parents and the teenagers.

The dinner was great, with foods I've never heard of living in the lower 48. The shows are well done, and very unique.

I've never seen anything like it, and if I have the opportunity, I will certainly return.

we had a very small group that went out, so i don't know how things go for the larger groups, but everything was a blast. very laid back and relaxing trip, the sights were spectacular and the crew was a lot of fun.

It was a daytime sailing on a catamaran, and it was just the right amount of time for beginners, feeling very pleasant. I think even small children can enjoy this sailing experience. On the way back to the beach, the direction changed, and just when I was wondering what was happening, we found ourselves among a pod of wild dolphins! Being surrounded by so many dolphins was amazing! I will definitely go again if I have the chance.

カタマランのデイタイムセーリングでしたが、初心者にも丁度よい時間で気持ちよかったです。小さい子でも十分に楽しめるセーリングだと思います。ビーチに帰る途中に方向が変わり、あれ？と思ったら野性のイルカの群れの中に！たくさんのイルカに囲まれて最高でした！また機会があったら乗りに行きます。

For those who think Maui means nothing but hotels and beaches this tour evidences otherwise. An amazing tour to the top of Haleakela Volcano, the Iao Valley (beautiful canyons, rock formations and foliage), and time to see and shop in Lahaina.

This is a chance to see some of the real Hawaii in Maui!

I traveled to Hawaii at the end of the year and participated in a cruise. The night before, there was a rare experience of a complete power outage across the island, which made me wonder if the cruise would still take place, but it went ahead as planned.

This time, I signed up for the standard package without transportation or lunch. Check-in was supposed to be by 11:45, but I arrived at 11:02 on the Red Line trolley while sightseeing around the city. The large Star of Honolulu was docked, so I quickly found the check-in counter.

Unfortunately, I didn't encounter any whales this time, but I enjoyed a relaxing cruise off the coast of Honolulu. Onboard, there were activities like lei-making, ukulele lessons, and hula dance classes, with people from various countries participating.

If you don't encounter any whales, they issue a reboarding ticket before you disembark. With that ticket, you can reboard during the season. I think it's best to participate without having too high expectations of seeing whales.

年末に渡ハし、参加してきました。
前日の夜に全島停電という貴重な？体験をし、クルーズは大丈夫か？と思っていましたが、決行されました。
今回は送迎なし、ランチなしのスタンダードで申し込み。
１１：４５までにチェックインとなっていましたが、１１：０２到着のトロリーのレッドラインで街中を観光しながら到着。
大きなスターオブホノルル号が泊まっているので、チェックインカウンターもすぐ発見できました。
今回は残念ながら鯨には遭遇できませんでしたが、ホノルル沖のクルーズが出来、とてものんびりとすごせました。
船内ではレイ作りやウクレレ教室、フラダンス教室などを行っており、各国の人々が参加していました。
鯨に遭遇できなかった場合、下船前に再乗船のチケットを発行してくれます。それを持っているとシーズン中に再乗船が可能になるそうです。
あまり鯨に期待をしすぎないで参加するのが良いと思いますよ。

We really enjoyed this tour!! Our guide was very knowlegable and experienced. Everyone visiting Oahu should visit the Arizona at least once. The Missouri was also very interesting, as was the Punchbowl.

We participated as a family of four on Christmas Day. This has been our annual tradition of traveling to Hawaii for the past ten years, and for the last two or three years, we had been really interested in the dolphin tour. I'm so glad we decided to sign up this time. My daughters (22 and 20 years old) were truly thrilled to see such cute dolphins so close... They were really impressed, saying it was a tour that perfectly matched the name Dolphin You "Dolphins and Me"! When we got on the boat, it was incredibly cold, but the warm hospitality from the staff and the delicious cheese taro burgers we had, along with sweet cakes for Christmas, made us feel pampered. Everyone was very satisfied with Dolphin You. If we have the chance, we would love to join this tour again! Thank you very much.

家族4名でクリスマスの日に参加。10年前からの、毎年恒例のハワイ旅行で、ここ2、3年、ずーっと気になってたイルカツアー。思い切って今回申し込んでよかったです。娘達は（22歳、20歳）可愛いいイルカがあんなに直ぐ側で見られるなんて・・・とホントに大感激しておりました。まさに、ドルフィンユー「イルカとわたし」のネーミングにぴったりなツアーだ！と妙に感心しておりました~♪船にあがると、ものすごく、寒かったですけど、暖かいスタッフの皆様のおもてなしと、美味しいチーズたろいものバーガーをいただいたり、クリスマスということで、甘いケーキまで、ご馳走になり、何から何まで、至れりつくせりのドルフィンユーにみんな大満足でした。機会があれば、また、このツアーに参加したいです！！ありがとうございました。

There are many attractions that you can't find in Japan, and the wave pool felt more intense than those in Japan. Even just watching the surfing area was enjoyable.

I was looking forward to the barbecue, as it's something you associate with America, but it didn't compare to the cheap all-you-can-eat options in Japan, and to be honest, it wasn't very tasty. It didn't really feel like barbecue... Maybe it would have been better to eat something else, like a hamburger from within the park!?

I had fun at the pool, so I would like to participate again.

日本にはないアトラクションが沢山あり、
波のプールも日本より激しい感じがしました。
サーフィンの出来るところも見ているだけでも楽しめました。

バーベキューはアメリカというだけ合って楽しみにしていましたが、日本の安い食べ放題より物はないし、はっきり言って美味しくありませんでした。あれはバーベキューとは言えない様な、、、。
食事は別で、園内にあるハンバーガーなどを食べたほうが良かったかも！？

プールは楽しかったのでまた参加したいと思います。

Nothing is more fun than this show on Hawaii. Loved it completely, excellent arrangements, very good timings for each show so that you will not miss a single one, excellent staffs and lastly superb shows..kudos to them.
If you have time, also take the temple trip and visit the church.

I participated on December 17th. As expected, I didn't see any whales, let alone dolphins. However, I was able to enjoy a bit of a cruising vibe, and seeing Diamond Head and Waikiki from the sea was lovely, so it was good in its own way. I also joined a hula lesson, which made me forget about feeling seasick, and it was fun. I will try again!

12月17日に参加しました。　やはり鯨どころかイルカにもあえませんでした。
でも　ちょっとしたクルージング気分が味わえて　海から見るダイアモンドヘッドやワイキキも素敵でそれはそれなりに　よかったです。
フラのレッスンに参加して船酔い気分も吹っ飛びたのしかったです。またチャレンジします。

The Polynesian Cultural Center was a great experience! We rented a car and went for the day rather than booking a tour. The Samoan presentation was very funny as well as a learning experience as all presentations are! We were able to try some of the things that we learned from the presentations. Our kids loved collecting the stamps, and the prize at the end. It was an enriching experience that I recommend all to try at least once. We did not attend a luau on property, so I cannot relay any recommendations for that.

This time, my husband and our sons, who are in first and sixth grade, participated. They seemed very happy to see a pod of wild dolphins up close, which they had been looking forward to. They were also impressed by the sea turtles, beautiful fish, and the clear ocean. They happily talked about how delicious the hamburger made with taro bread was, which they ate on the boat, and how they danced the hula after getting off the boat.

During this trip, I let the kids experience various activities, but the most fun thing they both said was the "dolphin tour!" I'm glad we participated.

今回、夫と小１・小６の息子たちが参加しました。
楽しみにしていた野生のイルカの群れを間近に見ることができて、とてもうれしかったようです。
また、海ガメやきれいな魚たち、透き通った海に感動していました。
また、船の上で食べたタロイモのパンで作ったハンバーガーがとても美味しかった事、船を降りてからフラダンスを踊ったことを楽しそうに話してくれました。

今回の旅行では子供達にいろいろ体験させたのですが、一番楽しかったことは「イルカツアー！」と二人揃って言っていました。参加させてよかったと思います。

the sun was shining, the wind was blowing, the dolphins were swimming, the reef was closer to the surface. But it wasn't, not any. No sailing because of no wind. No sun. No dolphins. I'm near sighted, so the reef, in the sunless water, was too darn deep for me to really see. Got a re-ride ticket - but what good is that going to do me? This was a once in a lifetime trip. I didn't score it worse, cause the "catatonics" helped my mood, and I absolutely love the ocean, no matter what.

In contrast to Oahu's image of blue, Kauai has an image of red. When I was considering a day trip, I was torn between Maui and the Big Island, but I decided to go with Kauai, a place that not many Japanese people visit.
In a word, it's nature! It feels like the island has remained untouched by development. I participated with my family, and it seems my daughter loved the fern cave while my husband preferred the canyon. This island offers various spirits that touch different people in different ways.

以前参加しました。
オアフのブルーというイメージに対して、カウアイはレッドというイメージです。日帰りツアーを検討していた時、マウイ島にするかハワイ島にするか悩んだのですが、あまり日本人が行かないカウアイ島にしようと決め参加しました。
　一言で言うと大自然！島が開発されずにそのまま残っているという感じです。家族で参加しましたが、娘はシダの洞窟がパパは渓谷がお気に入りになったようでした。人によって感動するものが違ういろんなスピリッツを与えてくれる島でした。

I only had experience with pools in Japan, but this pool is definitely worth a visit. I think it's a pool that can be used in various ways. For those who want to practice boogie boarding in the ocean, you can practice here and then challenge yourself in the ocean the next day... There are many attractions that families can enjoy together, so I really recommend this pool.

日本で流れるプール程度しか経験がなかったですが、このプールは一回はいく価値あり。いろんな使い方ができるプールだと思います。
　ブギーボードを海でする人は、ここで練習をしてから次の日に海で挑戦するとか・・・・　
　家族の人は家族一緒に楽しめるアトラクションが多数あり本当にお勧めなプールです。

First I have to say you MUST ask for JUAN as your guide. He is a native of Kauai. He is not only EXTREMELY knowlegeable of the Island, Juan has a great sense of humor, full of great stories retold to him by his grandfather, native histories, is a wealth of information. The Canyon is fasinating to see, as well as the Water Falls that we stopped along the way to witness. Juan told us local folk lore regarding the Sleeping Giant; Sprouting Horn.
Juan is WORTH THE TRIP in himself!

Despite the poor conditions, I was able to encounter many dolphins, and it was really fun. I could see that all the staff were making great efforts to ensure the participants enjoyed themselves. I was a bit nervous since I easily get seasick and can't swim, but the friendly atmosphere created by the staff, the encounters with the dolphins and turtles, and the delicious hamburgers made it a wonderful experience! I'm glad I participated. If I have the opportunity next time, I would like to join again in good weather conditions during a better season.

たくさんのイルカと出会うことができて、

スタッフの皆さんいずれも参加者を楽しまそうと
大変努力してくださっているのが良くわかりました。

My first time in Hawaii. Before wandering around Honolulu, I decided to take in the view from the sea, so after arriving, I dropped off my luggage at the hotel and joined the tour. As soon as we set sail, we were greeted with the stunning scenery of Waikiki and Diamond Head right before our eyes. However, there was a bit of wind that day, and it was quite rocky offshore. Perhaps because of that, the buffet area during lunch wasn't too crowded and was quite smooth. Onboard, there were lessons for making leis, hula dancing, and ukulele playing, which seemed to create a lively atmosphere. Additionally, there were dance shows until disembarkation, and the crew's spirit of service was abundant. Finally, they came around selling group photos taken during boarding for $18. While it's not mandatory, it's a keepsake, so I felt compelled to buy it—what do you think? (laughs)

はじめてのハワイ。ホノルル市内を歩き回る前にまず海上から全体を眺めてみようという事で、到着後ホテルに荷物を預け参加しました。出航後、すぐにワイキキ・ダイヤモンドヘッドの素晴らしい風景を眼前にする事ができます。ただ当日は少し風があり沖合では結構揺れました。そのせいかランチ時のビュッフェコーナーもそう混む事もなくスムーズでした。船内では、レイ作製、フラダンス、ウクレレ等のレッスンがあり盛り上がっていた様です。また、降船時までダンス等のショーもありクルーのサービス精神は旺盛です。最後に乗船時グループ単位で写真を撮影したものを＄18で販売に来ます。強制ではないものの記念という事で買わざるを得ませんが、これはどうでしょうか（苦笑）

I participated last December. The weather seemed typical for the Kaneohe Bay area, with a mix of cloudy and sunny conditions. When it was sunny, it was really beautiful, but it felt cold when it was cloudy! That was my impression. I was satisfied with walking on the sandbar and taking commemorative photos. Next time I participate, I think I'll bring a thick sweatshirt.

昨年度１２月に参加しました。
天気は曇ったり晴れたりとカネオヘ湾あたりの天気としては普通なようでした。晴れるとすごく綺麗なのですが、曇ると寒い！というのが印象です。
　サンドバーを散歩して記念撮影もでき満足でした。
今度参加するときは、厚手のトレーナーを持参して参加しようと思います。

We had a great time on this cruise. The staff were very friendly, and the boat was beautiful. I would do this again.

Everything was amazing!! The dolphins, snorkeling at the coral reef, the cheeseburgers, and the hula dancing were all wonderful♪ It was so much fun. I want to participate again!!
