First of all, even though the meeting place was our hotel, it took a while for the guide to be identified. It seems that the dancer who was performing was the guide. We saw other tourists talking to that dancer and being taken somewhere, so we decided to try asking them too, and we were able to arrive safely.

Then, there was a long line to the venue, and it took a lot of time before we could take our seats. Since we had reserved Golden Circle seats, we sat in the front row, and those in the Golden Circle were prioritized for food, so we could start eating quickly. However, those in the regular seats seemed to go for food more than 30 minutes later, so I definitely recommend reserving Golden Circle seats.

Also, when ordering beer, it seems that Japanese people are often perceived as looking younger, so they checked our age. In our case, they didn't ask for a passport, but if you're concerned, it might be a good idea to bring an ID that shows your age.

The show featured dancers changing outfits one after another, and we got to see various dances. Personally, I found the solo dance of a little girl to be incredibly cute!

まず、集合場所が自分たちの宿泊ホテルだったにも関わらず、案内人が判明するまで時間がかかりました(A；´･ω･)
ダンスパフォーマンスをしていたダンサーさんが案内人だったみたいですｗ
他の観光客らしき人たちが、そのダンサーさんに声をかけてどこかに連れて行かれるのを見て、試しに声をかけると、私たちも無事、到着できた感じです。

そして会場まで長蛇の列で、席につくまでとても時間がかかりました。
ゴールデンサークル席を予約していたので、一番前の席に座り、ゴールデンは食事を取りに行くのも優先なので、早く食べ始めることができましたが、普通席の方々は30分以上も後に食事を取りに行くかんじなので、ぜひゴールデンサークル席を予約されることをお勧めします☆

あとはビール注文時に、やはり日本人は若く見られるらしく年齢を確認されたので(20代後半の私)、私たちの場合はパスポート提示までは求められませんでしたが、心配な方は年齢がわかる身分証を持って行かれたほうが良いかと思います。

ショーはダンサーさん達が次から次へと着替え、色々なダンスを見ることができました☆
個人的に小さな女の子のソロダンスが可愛くて仕方なかったです+.(o´∀｀o).+

Booked this activity with a few friends, as we wanted to do something fun in the evening, and what a great choice this was! Being close to Waikiki is the first perk, but the entertainment and scenery makes it even better.

We were running late, so missed some of the crafts before the luau, but as soon as got there they were starting the Imu ceremony, which was unlike anything I have ever seen! Between Chief Seilu, who is the definition of entertainment, to the dancing, music, and wonderful food, this was definitely a night none of us will ever forget. Thanks Chief for keeping us laughing the whole time!

The show was in English, so I thought it would be more enjoyable if I understood the language, but the show itself was powerful and wonderful, so I was glad to participate. The food was decent, and it was interesting to have Hawaiian food as well. During the show, people celebrating their birthdays or those visiting for their honeymoon were brought to the front to be celebrated, which I think made for great memories. However, the Japanese honeymoon couple seemed a bit shy while dancing together to the live band.

ショーは英語なので、言葉が分かるともっと楽しめると思いましたが、ショー自体が迫力があってすばらしいので、参加して良かった。食事もまあまあで、ハワイアンフードもありめずらしかった。ショーの中で今日が誕生日の人や今回ハネムーンで訪れている人など特別な人が前にでてみんなにお祝いされるのも、いい思い出になると思いました。ただ、日本人のハネムーンカップルは生バンドに合わせて抱き合いながらのダンスはちょっとはずかしそうでしたよ。

I participated with a group of nine, including my friend's family. The singing, hula dancing, and fire dancing were impressive, and the children had a great time. I created wonderful memories with my friends.

友人家族と9名で参加しました。歌やフラダンス、ファイヤーダンス、迫力があり子供達もとても楽しんでいました。
友人との良い思い出ができました。

Chief's Luau at Sea Life Park was by far the best luau I've ever been to! I've gone to other luaus on the island but this one hands down beats all the others. The venue alone has spectacular views of the mountains and the ocean directly in front of you. After sunset you can even see Makapu'u light house lit up in the distance.
Chief Sielu was a FANTASTIC host. Right when you arrived you felt so welcomed by the Chief and the other staff. Not only were they welcoming and made you feel comfortable. He had my friends and I laughing the entire time, his humor was hysterical! Not to mention the entire luau was super interactive and informative. Chief Sielu is SO passionate about his culture and passing his knowledge on to others, that the entire luau was both extremely entertaining but also educational, which was great.
All the performances, dances, and traditions that were taught to us were amazing. The fire dancing was spectacular and far beyond my expectations! The food was also delici

First off... I will RECOMMEND this luau over any other luau on Oahu. This didn’t even feel like an activity or a tour I paid for, it felt like I was invited to a festive Hawaiian family gathering.

I have been to many "traditional" luaus, and usually leave during the show because it gets so boring, everyone does the same routine..over and over again. Not at this luau. I cannot explain how good of a time we had.

The show was great and the Chief grabbed your attention the minute you walked in, he was so funny! Chief Sielu had my friend and I laughing so hard we had to put our drinks and camera down because we wanted to enjoy every minute of it.

One of the main highlights was the fire knife dancing, it started off with 1 dancer, then 2, 3, 4, 5...it just kept on going!! I think at one time the stage nearly caught on fire but they just kept on flipping their fire knives, throwing it in the air..it was soooo exciting!!!

This luau felt like a family gathering, everyone shared

I participated with my husband and our 4-year-old and 0-year-old children.

I had many worries about bringing a baby, but I was truly moved by the beauty of the ocean. The water was cold, and we returned to the boat once, but since we had come all this way and the sky and sea were so beautiful, I thought it would be a waste to just watch from the boat. So, I held the baby and went into the water, which was waist-deep. However, in the shallows, it was only knee-deep.

I had heard that we couldn't use a stroller, so my husband and I took turns holding the baby. Fortunately, the baby didn't cry, which was a relief.

The BBQ burgers on the boat were delicious. While enjoying the beautiful ocean view, we ate hamburgers and listened to a lot of Hawaiian music, making it a relaxing day.

We couldn't go snorkeling, but we were able to see a turtle popping its head out of the water from the boat.

Since the boat was full, I thought it was a bit cramped for us with all our luggage.

赤ちゃん連れで心配な事もたくさんありましたが本当に海のキレイさに感動しました。海が冷たくて一度船に戻りましたが、せっかく来たしこんなに空と海がキレイなのに、船からみてるのはもったいないと思い赤ちゃんを抱っこして腰までの深さの海に入りました。でも浅瀬へ行くと膝ぐらいの深さでした

ベビーカーは使えないと聞いてたのでずっと旦那さんと赤ちゃんを交代で抱っこしてました
幸い泣き叫ぶこともなくてよかったです

船上でのBBQバーガーは美味しかったです
キレイな海を眺めながらハンバーガーを食べてたくさんのハワイアンミュージックを歌ってもらいのんびりした一日となりました

シュノーケルはできませんでしたが、船からカメが顔を出してる所を見ることができました

船内は満席だったため荷物の多い私達には少し狭かったかなと思いました

I chose to go to the Chief’s Luau at Sea Life Park because it was close to Waikiki but not IN Waikiki. And I had been to Sea Life Park and the ocean views there are absolutely gorgeous. The main reason I chose this one was I had heard so much about Chief Sielu. Everyone says he’s the best in the South Pacific and “everyone” were correct. What a luau!

In my humble opinion, the Chief’s Luau is the best. The Chief Sielu is even better than his reputation. He and his huge cast of male and female dancers first entertained us with crafts, how to weave, make fire, and dance hula. Then the Chief narrated the imu ceremony where they pulled the pig from the underground imu oven. Informative and funny. Dinner was great. Then came the show. Beyond entertaining, exceptionally funny, and more fire knife dancers than I expected. There were about 7 or 8 of them doing really wild stuff.

One of the best parts of this luau was its proximity to where I was staying in Waikiki. It took less than 30 m

As I saw in the movie, the sandbar where it suddenly becomes shallow was a very mysterious and wonderful place. The clarity of the seawater was indeed high, but it was a bit disappointing that it was cloudy that day. I hope to go on a sunny day next time. However, I was able to see many turtles and fish, and the staff's service was great, so I was very satisfied. I definitely look forward to visiting again!

映画で見たとおり、そこだけ急に浅瀬になっているサンドバーは、とても不思議で素敵な場所でした。
海水の透明度もさすがに高かったのですが、当日は曇り空だったので、それだけはちょっと残念でした。次回は晴れの日に行きたいなと思います。でも、亀もお魚もたくさん見れたし、スタッフの応対も良かったので大満足です。
また、是非宜しくお願いします！！

I wanted to join the recommended plan, but due to scheduling conflicts with other tours, I participated in the early morning plan.

The Japanese guide (a woman) kept the atmosphere lively with jokes and provided clear instructions at the sea turtle viewing points. I was able to see many more sea turtles than I had expected, and I even spotted baby turtles.

After the sea turtle viewing, we moved to the sandbar. The weather was nice, but the seawater was cold... (though it was fine once I got used to it). The scenery was just as beautiful as I had seen in photos!

After that, we went snorkeling, but contrary to my expectations, the visibility wasn't very good, and I felt like I hardly saw any fish. Additionally, the water was quite deep, and the current seemed relatively fast, so I recommend that those who are not experienced with snorkeling definitely use the floatation devices provided by the staff. (As a beginner, I found it tough without one.)

Overall, I think the tour is enjoyable, with all the staff being friendly and cheerful.

おすすめプランに参加したかったのですが、
他のツアーとの時間の兼ね合いで早朝プランへ参加しました。

日本人ガイドの方（女性）がジョークも交えつつ
盛り上げてくれ、ウミガメ観賞ポイントでは
ポイントをきちんと教えてくれました。
予想していた以上にウミガメが沢山見られ、
更には子ガメも発見できました。

ウミガメ観賞後はサンドバーへ移動。
天気は良かったのですが、海水は冷たかった・・・
（慣れてしまえば平気ですが）
写真で見ていたのと同じ風景ですごく綺麗でした！

そのあと、シュノーケリングをしましたが、
こちらは予想に反してあまり透明度が無く、
魚もほとんど見られなかったように感じます。
しかも水深は結構深く、流れも比較的早いように思うので、
シュノーケリングに不慣れな方は、スタッフが貸してくれる浮き棒？を必ず使うことをお勧めします。
（私は初心者だったのでこれがないときつかったです）

全体的にはスタッフの方も全員フレンドリーで明るく、
楽しく過ごせるツアーだと思います。

I participated on Sunday, April 29, during Golden Week. I expected it to be crowded, but perhaps due to the slightly chilly weather and light rain in the afternoon, there were fewer people. Everything flowed smoothly except for the Raging River, and I was able to enjoy all the attractions, which made me very satisfied. The bodyboarding was especially fun; we rented the large wave pool for 30 minutes with 88 people and got to ride the waves to our heart's content. I was a beginner, but the instructor timed it perfectly to help me catch the waves, allowing me to enjoy it multiple times.

For the Island Racer and Raging River, it's better to ride early when it's less crowded since they switch every 30 minutes. Both are popular attractions. The most thrilling and scary ride was Shaka. This ride also stops every 30 minutes, so it's wise to ride it while it's less busy. I don't think there are many attractions with this level of thrill in Japan, so families with children will definitely enjoy it.

Lunch was a buffet with all-you-can-eat options including hot dogs, rice, fried chicken, spare ribs, beef steak, salad, and fruit. Although the selection was limited, the beef was very tender, juicy, and delicious. Of course, I was able to go back for seconds, which made me very happy. Drinks were available at a bar-like area in the center of the pool, where you could drink as much as you wanted. Many people came without lunch, but there was only one food court. They sold pizza, hot dogs, local foods, and desserts, but I think it’s more economical to sign up for the lunch package with unlimited drinks.

Overall, it was a very satisfying day. The bus transportation was in a large bus that took us right to the front entrance, and we arrived before opening. We were able to stay until after 3 PM, which was great, but time flew by because we were having so much fun, and I wanted to play even more. So next time, I plan to rent a car and spend a full day there.

I think riding the popular attractions "Raging River, Shaka, and Tornado" in the morning will make it easier to get around later. When we went, the Island Racer was popular, and since four people can start at the same time, the wait time was very short, allowing us to enjoy it three times in a row. After the rain, it got a bit chilly, so we were able to warm up in the jacuzzi. Going with a large family will definitely make for an exciting time!

4/29ＧＷの日曜日に参加。混んでいるだろうと予測しておりましたが当日は少し肌寒く午後からは小雨も降ったせいか人が少なくレイジングリバー以外はスムーズに流れすべてのアトラクションを制覇する事が出来てとても満足でした。何と言ってもボディボードは大きな波のプール8８人で30分貸し切って思いっきり波に乗る事が出来ました。私は初心者でしたがインストラクターの方がタイミングを見計らってうまく波に乗せてくれるので何度も何度も楽しむ事ができました。アイランドレーサー＆レイジングリバーは30分交代なので空いている時は早目に乗る方がいいです。どちらも人気があるアトラクションです。1番スリル満点で怖かったのはシャカです。こちらも30分に1度運転停止になるので空いている間に乗るのが賢いです。まあ日本ではこんなにスリルがあるアトラクションはないと思うので家族ずれの子供なんかはとても喜ぶと思います。ランチは食べ放題のビュッフェ付きでホットドック、ご飯、唐揚げ、スペアリブ、牛肉のステーキ、サラダ、フルーツと品数は少なかったのですがこちらの牛肉がとても柔らかくてジューシーでとても美味しかったです。勿論何回もおかわりが出来て大満足でした。ドリンクは食事以外でもプール中央辺りにあるバーの様な所で好きなだけ飲めました。お昼ご飯を付けずに来ていた人が多かったのですがフードコートは1箇所。ピザやホットドック、ローカル食べ物からデザート迄販売されてましたがランチ付きドリンク飲み放題で申込をした方がお得だと思いました。全体的にとても満足な１日でした。バスでの送迎も大型バスで正面玄関迄送ってくれるし開店前には現地到着、帰りは15時過ぎ迄ととても満足の行く時間迄滞在出来ましたが楽しくて時間が経つのが早くもっともっと遊んでいたかったです。なので次回はレンタカーを借りて丸1日遊んでみたいと思います。とにかく人気アトラクション「レイジングリバー・シャカ・トルネード」は午前中に乗っておくと後が廻りやすくなると思います。私達が行った時は「アイランドレーサー」が人気でしたが1度に4人が同時にスタートが出来るので廻ってくる順番がとても早く私達も3回一気に楽しみました。雨が降った後少し肌寒くなったのでジャグジーで体を温める事も出来ました。家族大勢で行くと盛り上がる事間違いなしです。

It was disappointing that the sandbar wasn't fully exposed since we participated close to high tide. However, the water level was about knee-deep, so we had fun playing volleyball with other participants.

The subsequent turtle watching from the boat and snorkeling at the coral reef were also great. Even without scuba diving, we were able to interact with tropical fish.

満潮に近い時間帯での参加だったのでサンドバーが完全には露出していなかったのが残念です。でも、水位は膝下くらいなので、アクティビティ参加者同士で、バレーボールをして楽しめました。
その後の船上からのウミガメ観賞やサンゴ礁でのシュノーケリングも良かったです。スキューバダイビングをせずとも熱帯魚と戯れることができました。

I wanted to forget the daily hustle and bustle, so I joined the tour alone and relaxed.

As we headed out to the sea by boat, a beautiful sandy beach suddenly appeared, which felt quite magical.

I checked the low tide times in advance, so everything went according to plan! I was able to see the sandbar.

Depending on the time, the sandbar may not be fully visible, so I definitely recommend checking the low tide times before participating.

Several sea turtles showed up, and I was able to take great photos!!

Since I was the only one participating alone, the staff were very attentive, and thanks to them, I had a wonderful time.

日頃の喧騒を忘れたくて
のんびり、ひとりで参加しました。

沖まで船で向うと、きれいな砂浜が突然姿を現す
不思議な感覚でした。

前もって干潮の時間を調べて参加したので、
予定どおり!～ｻﾝﾄﾞﾊﾞｰを見ることができました。

時間によってはｻﾝﾄﾞﾊﾞｰが完全に出ないこともあるので、
絶対に干潮の時間を調べて参加することをおすすめします。

海ガメも何匹も姿を見せてくれて、
バッチリ写真が取れました!!

私だけひとり参加だったためか、ｽﾀｯﾌの方がすごく気遣ってくれて、
おかげですごく楽しめました。

On the last day, I made a reservation for the shuttle bus to the airport, which was supposed to pick me up at 3:00 PM, right on the day of my return.

The voucher indicated a departure at 10:30, so I arrived 15 minutes early, but it seems the daily departure is at 11:00. I was told to come back at 10:45, and in the end, the departure was at 11:15, so I had to wait quite a bit.

Still, the hour and a half boat trip was very pleasant, and it was a meaningful time to say goodbye to Hawaii on my last day.

Various yachts were sailing around, but this one took us further out and was faster, which made it a lot of fun.

Afterward, I washed my hands and feet at the water station by the hotel pool and quickly changed in the restroom on the first floor of the hotel.

Since I felt a bit sticky from the seawater, I recommend preparing a change of clothes in a small eco bag for the day of your return.

最終日。空港までのシャトルバスが15時に迎えに来るという、まさに帰国する日に予約をしました。

バウチャー券に10:30出航とあり15分前に行きましたが、毎日11:00出航のようで10:45に来てと言われ、結局11:15の出航で、だいぶ待ちぼうけをしました。

それでも1時間半の船旅は、とても気持ちが良く☆、ハワイにお別れをする最終日にとても相応しい☆、有意義な時間を過ごせました☆☆☆

色々なヨットが周りを走っていましたが、こちらのほうがより遠くへ行ってくれて、スピードもあって、とても楽しかったです♪

終わったあとは宿泊ホテルのプールに設置されている水道で手足を洗い、ホテル1階にあるトイレでささっと着替えをしました。

やっぱり海水で少しだけベタついたので、帰国日の際は、着替えをエコバックなどに小さく用意しておくことをおすすめします。

I participated in September of the year before last. The sandbar was very beautiful. There was a lot of lunch prepared, but it was disappointing that when our turn came, the staff hurried us to "please get into the water quickly," so we couldn't eat much.

I thought the water temperature would be low, so I brought a wetsuit top from Japan. Since I was wearing this, I didn't feel too cold, but most of the other participants were in swimsuits or rash guards and were shivering after getting back on the boat. Many people got cold, and the number of participants for the second snorkeling session significantly decreased. I thought it would be nice if they provided wetsuits given the water temperature.

I think it would be fine during warmer periods, but in the fall, it's a good idea to prepare for the cold. I'm glad we used a tour since it's a place we couldn't go to on our own.

サンドバーとってもきれいでした。
ランチもたくさん用意されていましたが、自分たちの順番が回ってきて「早く海に入ってください」とスタッフに急かされあまり食べられなかったのが残念でした。

水温は低いだろうと思って日本からウエットスーツ素材の上着を持参しました。
これを着ていたので寒さはあまり感じませんでしたが、他の参加者はほとんどの方が水着やラッシュだったのでボートに上がってから震えていました。
体が冷えてしまった人が多くて、2度目のシュノーケリングは参加者が激減。
あの水温だったらウエットスーツを貸してくれたらいいのになと思いました。

水温が高い時期なら問題ないと思いますが、秋だと寒さ対策をしておくといいと思います。
自分たちだけでは行けないところなのでツアーを利用してよかったです。

This was my second visit to Wet 'n' Wild, and it was still a lot of fun. Perhaps because it was a weekday, not all the slides were open, so I was disappointed that I couldn't ride everything I wanted.

If I could have stayed an extra 30 minutes, I would have enjoyed it even more... After factoring in time for lunch and changing, the actual time to play was surprisingly short.

2度目のウェット・アンド・ワイルドでしたが、やはり楽しかったです。平日だったせいか、すべてのスライダーがオープンしてなくて、乗りたいものに乗れなかったのが残念。

帰りの時間をあと30分でも遅くしてもらえるともっと楽しめたのに…お昼食べて着替えの時間を入れると正味遊べる時間が意外に少ない。

Snorkeling is not enjoyable; you can only look at a few corals, and it's a bit tough without fins. The lunch on the boat was just okay.

シュノ−ケリングは楽しめません、わずかなサンゴを眺めるだけ、フィンなしでは少々辛い。船上のランチは、まあまあかな。

It was a little cold, but I was very satisfied because I could see a beautiful ocean and got close enough to touch a sea turtle! It’s not cold once you’re in the water, but the wind on the boat after getting out of the sea is chilly, so I think it’s a good idea to have one piece of warm clothing.

I’m thinking I want to go again!

ちょっとだけ寒かったけど、とってもきれいな海が見れ、ウミガメにも手で触れる距離くらい近く接近できたので満足です！
海の中に入れば寒くないのですが、海から上がったあとの船上で受ける風が寒いので、防寒具は1枚あったほうがいいと思います。

また行きたいなーと思っています！

It may have been a coincidence, but there were no other Japanese people besides us among the staff and passengers. It was mostly young Americans, which was very nice. The catamaran was also wonderful.

たまたまかもしれないが、受付も乗客も我々以外に日本人はいなかった。　ヤングアメリカンばかりで、大変良かった。
カタマランも素晴らしい。

It seems that the weather around the sandbar can be unstable. When I participated, it was sunny and about 28 degrees in Waikiki, but Kaneohe Bay was cloudy with some rain. However, I was able to see the sandbar, so it was still a lot of fun.
Advice for those participating:
It's better to prepare for the cold!!
(Check the weather in Kaneohe Bay on the day, not Waikiki.)
If you have long-sleeved swimwear for surfing, and a jacket and something like sweatpants to wear after getting out of the water, you won't feel cold. (The guide was wearing a windbreaker...)
If the weather is clear, it's the best. The burgers for lunch are delicious!

サンドバーのあたりは、天候が不安定みたいです。
参加した時も、ワイキキは、晴天２８度くらいだったけど、カネオヘ湾は、曇って雨もパラついていました。でも、サンドバーはみれたので、やっぱり楽しかったです。
参加される方へのアドバイス：
寒さ対策あったほうがいいです！！
（ワイキキではなく、当日のカネオヘ湾の天気チェックしてください。）
サーフィン用などの、長袖水着とか、海から上がったあと、上着と、下にはくジャージの様な物もあれば、寒くないです。（ガイドさんは、ウインドブレーカーきてました・・）　
天気晴れたら、最高です。お昼のバーガーおいしいです~！　

Great evening and entertainment. Sat by door which despite staffs attempts to block off, was continually opened by customers causing a lot of wind while we ate.

I participated in the early morning plan, and although my stay was only about two hours, I was very satisfied. It was a lucky day as the sandbar was completely exposed due to low tide! I also got to see a rainbow and even a sea turtle, which was amazing! If you're going to the beach, I recommend this place over Hanauma Bay! However, there might be fewer types of fish for snorkeling. The staff were also very friendly, making it fun and taking photos for us.

早朝プランに参加させていただき、滞在時間は2時間ほどですがとても満足できました。
参加当日は引き潮で完全にサンドバーが現れているラッキーな日でした！
虹も見れて、ウミガメもちょっとだけど見れて最高！！
海に行くならハナウマ湾よりこっちがオススメです！ただ、
シュノーケルの魚は種類が少ないかも…。
スタッフの皆さんも楽しく盛り上げてくれたり、写真撮ってくれたりとても親切でした。

It was simply amazing. This was the best part of the tour. The wind was quite strong and the waves were high, so we ended up soaking wet as if we had taken a shower, but that made it even more fun. My husband and I are already talking about participating again the next time we go to Hawaii. Despite the huge waves, I didn't feel seasick at all, which was incredibly enjoyable. The tour lasted about two hours and was reasonably priced, so I signed up with a casual mindset, but it turned out to be a great decision. On the way back to Waikiki Beach, we encountered sea turtles twice, which really boosted our excitement. When the staff threw out some food, a lot of fish came over, and that was great too. I highly recommend it.

とにかく面白いの一言です。
今回のツアーの中では最高でした。
風が結構あって波も高かったのでまるでシャワーをあびたようにびしょぬれ状態でしたが、そこがまた楽しくて今度ハワイに行った時も絶対に参加しようと主人と話しています。
あんなにすごい波なのに船に酔うという事が楽しすぎて全くありません。
時間も２時間位だしお値段も安いのでついでの様な気持ちで申し込んだツアーでしたが、大正解でした。
ワイキキの浜へ戻る時にウミガメと2回遭遇してまたテンションが上がりました。
スタッフの方が餌をまいたら沢山お魚が寄ってきてそれも良かったですよ。
かなりお勧めです。

I payed an extra 25 dollars per person for a guaranteed private table but the couples table next to us was maybe 6 inches away. Not very private at all. This issue aside it was a great experience and we had a lot of fun.

The guidance to the boat dock was very enjoyable thanks to the driver's stories. Once we arrived at the location, the staff on the boat were cheerful, and we encountered sea turtles four times. It was truly moving to meet them at such a close distance that we could reach out and touch them. The sandwiches on the boat were also very delicious. I definitely want to participate again next time.

ボート乗り場までの案内は、運転手さんの話がとても楽しかったです。
現地に着いてからボートの中でも、スタッフさんが明るく、ウミガメにも4回遭遇出来ました。
手を伸ばせば触れる距離で出会えたのはとても感激でした。
ボートの上でのサンドイッチもとてもおいしかったです。
次回もぜひ参加したいです。

The weather was unfortunately not great that day, and I was wondering how it would turn out, but by the time we boarded the boat, the rain had stopped. It wasn't perfectly sunny, but the weather was decent!

We boarded the boat and arrived at the sandbar. The Japanese guide was a really cheerful lady. It was a bit windy, so it was slightly cold, but the scenery was beautiful and we had a great time. I was moved to see so many sea turtles. The hamburger lunch with patties grilled on the boat's deck was especially delicious!!!

この日はあいにくの天気でどうなるかと思いましたが船に乗るころには雨もやみ、快晴とまでは行きませんでしたがまずまずの天気でした！

船に乗り込みサンドバーへ到着。
日本人ガイドさんもすごくのりのいいお姉さんで＾＾
少し風が強かったので若干寒かったですがとてもきれいで楽しめました。
ウミガメもたくさん見れて感動しました。
特に船のデッキ、グリルで焼いてくれたパティをはさんだハンバーガーランチはとてもおいしかったです！！！

I went to a luau show. I wasn't expecting much, as I didn't plan to go all the way to the Polynesian Cultural Center.

However, I was pleasantly surprised. Even though I didn't understand the language, it felt like everyone could participate. The final fire dance was breathtaking. The dancers looked like they were having so much fun, which made it enjoyable for us too.

The meeting point was a bit hard to find, and the guidance wasn't sufficient, so I was a bit confused. I paid extra for good seats, but those who got in early were able to sit in the front. To get in early, you should stay a bit away on the Ala Moana side rather than at the meeting point. I think the guidance was provided early.

ルアウショーに行ってきました。
あまり期待していなかったのですけど、
ポリネシア文化センターとかまで行く気はなかったもので。

でも、いい方に裏切られました。
言葉はわからなくても、みんなで参加できた感じです。
最後のファイアーダンスは圧巻です。
ダンサーは皆さん、とっても楽しそうに踊っていて、
それがまた楽しかったです。

集合場所がちょっとわかりずらいのと、案内も十分では
なかったので、戸惑いました。
プラス料金でいい席を取りましたが、そのなかでも
早く会場に入ることができた方が一番前に座れます。
早く会場に入るには、
集合場所よりもアラモアナ側で遠巻きにしていること。
案内が早くされたと思います。

I was very satisfied with the 90-minute cruise while enjoying the view of Waikiki Beach. I was able to relax and forget about time.

９０分のワイキキビーチを眺めながらのクルージングに大満足。
時間を忘れながらのんびり出来ました。

THE DRIVER/GUIDE WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND KEPT US ENTERTAINING FOR THE MOST PARTS. HE GAVE US CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS AND WAS A GREAT ASSET TO HAVE IN THIS TOUR.

WE COULD HAVE SPENT MORE TIME ON THE ISLAND TOUR INSTEAD OF THE CULTURAL CENTER.

FINALLY THE NIGHT SHOW WAS WELL DONE. SUPRISED TO SEE HOW STUDENTS COULD PUT UP A PROFESSIONAL SHOW LIKE THIS. SOMETIMES I WONDER WHETHER THEY COME HERE TO STUDY FOR A CAREER OR ENTERTAIN THEMSELVES.

I participated in the luxurious BBQ lunch plan that departs in the afternoon. Unfortunately, the weather was not great on the day of the event, and it was drizzling when we left the hotel in Waikiki. When we arrived at Kaneohe Bay, the sky was still covered with thick clouds, and it was windy and cold.

We took a boat close to the sandbar and walked from there for photos and DVD filming. It was just so cold that it was unbearable.

For snorkeling, we swam in two lines, but the strong wind made it difficult to move forward, and although it was only about ten minutes, it was quite tiring.

After that, we returned to the boat for the BBQ, but due to the cold, I didn't have much of an appetite and couldn't eat much.

However, it was a rare experience to see sea turtles swimming up close.

The DVD is prioritized for those who paid for it, and they take various poses for you. I think it will serve as a nice memento.

I believe the enjoyment of this activity is greatly affected by the weather. (The next day, I flew over the sandbar in a Cessna on a sunny day, and it was beautiful, which made me feel quite disappointed.)

午後出発の豪華ＢＢＱランチプランに参加しました。
当日はあいにくの空模様でワイキキのホテルを出発するときは小雨でした。カネオヘ湾に到着した時も空は厚い雲に覆われて風が強く寒かったです。
ボートでサンドバーの近くまで行き、そこから歩いて写真とＤＶＤ撮影。とにかく寒くてたまりませんでした。
シュノーケルは全員で２列縦隊になって泳いで行くのですが風が強くて流されてしまいなかなか前へ進めず、時間にして１０分くらいなのでしょうが結構疲れました。

そのあとボートに戻ってＢＢＱですが、あまりの寒さで食欲はなくそれほど食べれませんでした。

でも海亀が間近まで泳いでくるので貴重な体験ができました。

ＤＶＤは有料で申し込んだ人が優先的に映り、いろんなポーズとかで取ってくれます。一応、記念にはなると思います。

このアクティビティは天候により楽しさが大きく左右されると思います。(翌日、晴天の日にセスナの体験飛行でサンドバーの上空を飛びましたがとてもきれいでとても残念に思いました。）
