Since I was staying at Hilton Hawaiian Village, I wanted to see a show nearby, so I participated. I think this is what a luau show is like, but I was disappointed that the buffet-style meal was not great.

ヒルトン・ハワイアン・ビレッジに泊まっていたので、近くでショーを見たいと思って参加しました。ルアウショーはこんなものなのかなと思いますが、ビュッフェ形式の食事がもう一つで残念でした。

I participated on the day of arrival.

Since I had the opportunity, I chose the Golden Circle, and it was definitely the right decision.

I was able to watch the show right up close to the stage, and it was incredibly powerful—I could even feel the warmth of the fire.

With the Golden Circle, in addition to receiving a shell lei upon entry, you also get a fresh flower lei, and you can go to the luau buffet with priority. It was definitely worth it just for the premium seating.

However, unfortunately, it was a very windy day, and it was quite cold, so it's advisable to bring a jacket.

I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food while experiencing Hawaiian culture.

せっかくだからと
ゴールデンサークルにしましたが
やはり大正解でした。

ステージのすぐ間際でショーを見られて
大迫力で、火の暖かさまで感じられるくらいでした。

ゴールデンサークルだと
入場の際に、シェルのレイのほか
生花のレイもかけてもらえるし、
ルアウのビュッフェも優先的に
取りに行くことができます。
プレミアムシートだけの価値はありました。

ただ、残念なことに
たいへん風の強い日で
かなり寒かったので
上着は持参されたほうがよいでしょう。

ハワイの文化を楽しみながら
おいしいお料理をいただけて
たいへん満喫しました。

I was able to see a lot of whales! The prior explanation by the tour guide was in English, and then there was an announcement in Japanese, which made it easy to understand.
The reason for the four-star rating is the weather. Unfortunately, it happened to be cloudy with rain, which was disappointing. Thanks to the meal plan, I was able to warm up my chilled body with coffee and tea, which was a great help!

たくさんくじらを見ることができました！事前の説明も添乗員さんが英語でした後に日本でアナウンスが流れ、分かりやすかったです。
☆４の理由は天気。たまたま天気が曇りのち雨と悪かったのが残念でした。食事付きプランにしたおかげでコーヒーや紅茶で雨で冷えた身体を温めることができ、助かりました！

I was able to see the tail fin and spouting a few times, but it was disappointing that I couldn't see them well because they were far away. I didn't know there was a rule that you can't get closer than 100 meters. It's understandable since it's nature. The sea was calm, and I enjoyed the cruise. The photo sales were a bit too expensive, so I didn't buy any.

尾ビレと潮吹きが何回か見れましたが、遠くて良く見えなかったのが残念でした。100m以内迄近づくことができないルールがあるとは知らなかった。自然相手なので仕方無し。海は穏やかでクルーズは楽しめた。写真販売はちょっと高過ぎて買わず。

I was in the front row and was overwhelmed by the powerful hula dance. Also, the witty and wonderful talk was entertaining. The audience's energy was enjoyable as well.

前の席でしたが、迫力のあるフラダンスに圧倒されました。又、ウイットに富んだ素晴らしいトークが面白かった。お客さんの乗りも楽しかった。

On February 6, we went on the late morning whale watching tour. The winds had been 20 - 30 MPH earlier that week and the water had not settled down. In spite of this, Captain Josh and the crew gave us a great time. We were close enough to the humpback whales that I could catch their bodies with my camera. Plus it was fun seeing the whales blow water into the air.

I was impressed by the captain knowing both fluent English and Japanese and being very safety conscience.

The Crew was great. They pointed out whales, got us drinks and gave us great info on the whales. I also appreciated the shuttle picking us up and dropping us off.

All in all, it was a great trip. If I go Back to Hawaii, I will probably book another trip on this boat. I would highly recommend this captain and crew to anyone who wants a great day on the water.

They were awesome! It was a great day! Even if we had never seen whales we still would have enjoyed the trip. Our captain Anthony and crew members Brett and Carlos were great hosts, informative and relaxed just as we like it.

Loved it. Kids lived it the entertainment was fun and the crab was endless.

The weather was very nice, but I couldn't see any whales. I did see dolphins, but it was disappointing. I would have liked a more detailed explanation based on my level of knowledge.

天気は非常によかったのですが、クジラには会えませんでした。イルカには会えましたが、残念でした。解説の方も自分が知っている知識レベルで、もう少し詳しい解説が聞きたかったです。

Usually, I enjoy a free-spirited trip in Hawaii by renting a car, but this time I found driving a bit cumbersome, so I utilized various plans. This "sandbar tour" was one of them.

We enjoyed the beautiful water and friendly staff (especially the women, who provided attentive service that left a strong impression). We also got to see sea turtles!

There is just one disappointing point. For us in our 60s, January can be a bit chilly! Even the beautiful sea was only bearable for about 15 minutes. I recommend that those visiting during this time prepare for the cold. Other than that, I highly recommend it without any complaints.

普段、ハワイ旅行ではレンタカーを借りて勝手な旅を楽しみましたが
少し運転も億劫になったので、今回はいろいろなプランを利用しました。
この　「サンドバー　ツアー」　もその一つ。

綺麗な水、フレンドリーなスタッフ（特に女性が多くてきめ細かい接待
が印象的でした）で、サンドバーとスノーケリングを楽しみました。
海亀も見られましたよ！！

一つだけ、残念な点があります。
それは、６０歳代の我々にとってⅠ月は少し寒い　！！
せっかくの美しい海も　15分が限度でした。この時期に出向かれる方は
寒さ対策をお薦めします。
それ以外は、文句なく、お薦めです。

Great time had. I only wish I would have upgraded seating. The standard seats were good, but surrounding people talked way too much during the show. No fault of the luau by any means. Just a lack of common consideration by a handful of inconsiderate people. It could have happened anywhere and our family was able to move to avoid them.

I was able to see the whale's tail, back, and spouting. Four dolphins were jumping. It was moving.

Wow!! We did the afternoon whale watch on February 12, 2015. First, we are so happy we booked this tour instead of one of the large cruise-like ships. Everything was fantastic and exceeded our expectations from the very start. Our crew (Jacob, Julia, David and Dave) were phenomenal! Each was outgoing, friendly and very knowledgeable. They made sure each person was attended to and were in constant contact with each other as well as the passengers. We were so fortunate to have perfect weather/sea conditions and only 7 passengers, including ourselves, for the cruise. Because of its size, the catamaran easily maneuvered to change course when we spotted whales, which was often! Not only did our crew point out sightings, but also explained why whales did certain things, their habits and shared past whale experiences. We even got to see a sea turtle when we were heading back to the marina. We were so happy we booked with this company. The cruise was intimate and fun and the drinks were great, too! If you want a top-notch, personal experience, book here!! Even if we hadn't been so lucky to see so many whales, the sailing experience with these great people would have been well worth it!

The dinner cruise was amazing and even though we had over cast of Vog and spinkles all day we still captured a beautiful sunset from the ships deck. The food was delicious and staff was wonderful - would highly recommend

We had a great time. The boat was on the smaller side, which was good...we could maneuver and move towards sighted whales more quickly and easier than the large vessels could. there were about 12 total guest on the boat with 4 total crew members, so the tour was very intimate. We enjoyed the friendliness and knowledge of the staff. Light snacks and refreshments were provided, and alcohol was available for $1 or $2 for those who wanted it. There was plenty of room in the covered area of the boat as well as the front deck. We spent the majority out on the deck, as the views from there were remarkable. One woman got seasick and the crew did what they could to help her out. I'd recommend Dramamine beforehand just in case! Regarding the actual whale sightings, we probably saw about 6 whales in the time that we were out there. Most of the time we would see the large fin protruding from the water a few times, and then we'd see the tale come up before the whale made a deep dive into the water. We saw one turtle as well. No spinner dolphins when we were out but I believe that those are a common sighting as well. The whales we saw were anywhere from 50-100 yards away, so we felt like we were pretty close, without being on top of them (they are huge!). Overall, we had a fantastic time. Just being out on the boat was worth the price, and the multiple sightings made it a great trip. Staff does not ask for tips, but we thought it was appropriate to leave one since they were so accommodating. I would certainly recommend to a friend!

We chose the buffet style, and it was a fun meal while enjoying live guitar performances and hula dancing.

After the meal, we were led to the venue where the show began.

Everything was performed live by the band and look-alikes singing, with an astonishingly high level of quality. It's completely different from Japanese comedy look-alikes. In between, there were hula dances arranged in a rock style. After the show, there was also a time for commemorative photos.

It was truly a worthwhile and enjoyable entertainment experience.

I would like to visit again when I go to Hawaii.

食事が済むと、会場に通されショーが始まります。


すべてバンドの生演奏と
そっくりさんの生歌で、
驚くほどのクオリティの高さでした。
日本のお笑いそっくりさんとはワケが違います。
そして、合間にロック調にアレンジされた
フラの踊りが繰り広げられます。
ショーが終わった後は、記念撮影タイムもありました。

本当に見ごたえのある楽しいエンターテイメントでした。

またハワイに行った際は、
再訪したいと思います。

The participants were mostly Japanese, and the guide who took us out to sea spoke Japanese, which made the tour worry-free for us since we couldn't speak English.

We were blessed with good weather, enjoying clear skies during this season! Although we couldn't see the sandbar at low tide, the clarity of the seawater was amazing! The interactions with the guide and other participants were also very enjoyable.

From the boat, we were able to spot several sea turtles, and during my first-ever snorkeling experience, I miraculously swam right next to a sea turtle.

Since we went on our honeymoon, it became an unforgettable memory for us!

I would love to participate again next time!

参加者がほぼ日本人、海に出てからのガイドさんも日本語が通じる方で英語が話せない私たちにとって不安要素が無いツアーでした。

天候にも恵まれ、この時期に晴天！
潮が引いた状態のサンドバーは見られなかったものの、海水の透明感が凄かった！
ガイドさんや参加者とのバレーもとても面白かったです＾＾

船上からのウミガメウォッチはカメさんを何匹も確認出来、生まれて初めてのシュノーケルでは、奇跡的にウミガメの真横を泳ぐことが出来ました。

新婚旅行で行ったので一生忘れられない思い出になりました♪

また次行く時も参加したいと思います＼(^o^)／

Our family had a great time!! Started with a very nice breakfast, and got to see some great up close whale activity. Worth every penny! Mahalo and Aloha!

The VIP Green Room Dinner and Show was the ultimate Legends in concert experience. Before the dinner my wife and I had the opportunity to relax in the VIP section where the complimentary drink and snacks set the right tone for the evening. The Elvis impersonator was available to take pictures minutes prior to being seated a few feet from the stage. The main course was delicious. Wife said the Steak was excellent but didn't care for the Salmon. I enjoyed them both. The drink tickets were an added benefit to compliment an already wonderful dinner. The desert was a delicious and beautifully arrange. The show began at about 815PM and the ELVIS impersonator was an awesome entertainer. He did about 4 songs to open the show and really had us comfortable and enjoying the show. He came off the stage and greeted the guest in the VIP section and planted a kiss and lei on a few unsuspecting women, my wife being one of them. Then the Lady Gaga impersonator had an outstanding performance. She WOWed the crowd with a descending entrance from above the stage. She was very fitting for show and a joy to watch. The The Michael Jackson impersonator was to the letter dancing like Mike. Although he wasn't as vocal as the other performers, those classic Michael Jackson dance move had us clapping and snapping. There were several other performances between impersonators that were very well performed as well. The host, ELVIS, did a final stage appearance and the grand finale was epic. After the show we had the opportunity to take photos with the entertainers and consume more beverages. Just as we thought the night was complete, a young lady validated our parking and we only paid 8 dollars in the Royal Hawaiian Parking Garage. My wife enjoyed it so much she said she's coming back. It was actually the best stage performance I'd ever been to. From check-in to check-out the whole experience was over the top classic.

These guys provided exactly the service you would expect. The driver was friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and the gear provided was great. For a trip to Hanamu Bay you couldn't ask for anything else

We liked this. There were very few food options. The crew were friendly and the view stunning.

Should have offered a soda with dinner. The complimentary Mai tai was nice.

The whales always come close to the boat, making it easy for small children to spot and enjoy them. Inside the boat, there were displays featuring whale sounds, which kept the kids entertained without getting bored. However, I found the photos available for purchase to be quite expensive. I would have liked to buy one if they were a bit cheaper. The coffee and tea were self-serve, and I appreciated that there was decaf coffee available since I was nursing. On the way back, we could get off the bus freely, so we got off at Alamoana and spent the afternoon there. Both the kids and adults had a great time!

常に船頭にクジラが来るようにしてくれるので小さな子供でもクジラが探しやすく楽しめました。
船内にはクジラの鳴き声などの展示があり子供は飽きることなく楽しめました。
ただ、自由購入の写真が高かったなぁと。もう少し安かったら買いたかったんですが。
コーヒー紅茶はセルフですが、コーヒーはﾃﾞｶﾌｪがあり授乳中の私は助かりました。
帰りのバスは自由に降りれたのでｱﾗﾓｱﾅで降りて午後の時間をすごしました。
かなり子供も大人も楽しめました！

On the day of the trip, the waves were high, and it seemed there were few whales. I was starting to think it might not happen, but finally, I was able to see a few. Perhaps because of the high waves, I started to feel a bit seasick. If you're prone to motion sickness, it might be a good idea to take some medication. Initially, I planned to take pictures of the whales, but they would dive before I could focus, so I gave up and enjoyed watching them with my own eyes. Binoculars are nice, but I realized that when there are only a few whales, they can actually make it harder to spot them.

On the way back, there were hula dance lessons and ukulele lessons, which were enjoyable. Even if you don't understand English, I think it's fine because basic information is broadcast in Japanese.

当日は波が高く、クジラが少なかったようです。なかなか見つからず、ダメかなと思っていたところ、やっと何回か見れました。波が高かったせいか、船酔い気味になりました。乗り物酔いに弱い人は酔い止めの薬は飲んだほうがいいかもしれません。当初の予定では、クジラを写真におさめようと思っていたのですが、ピントを合わせる前にもぐってしまうので、諦めて、肉眼で楽しみました。双眼鏡もいいのですが、たくさんクジラがいるときはよくても、数回しか見れないときには双眼鏡はかえって見つけにくくなることがわかりました。
帰り途中フラダンスレッスンやウクレレレッスンもあり、楽しめました。英語はわからなくても基本的な情報は日本語放送があるので大丈夫だと思います。

Within less than 10 minutes of departure, I spotted them jumping. I was inside the boat, but I couldn't help but rush to the bow to see them jump continuously. While they were diving, I found myself enjoying the anticipation of where they would come up next. It was a fleeting two hours. I guess it's just a matter of luck! It felt like I used up all my luck for the year. I was able to spend a precious time.

出航して、10分足らずで、ジャンプしている姿を目視した。船内に居たけど、立て続けにジャンプしてくれる為に、思わず船首へ。海底へ潜っている間、次はどこからでてきてくれるのか？ 楽しんで予測している自分に気が付く。あっと言う間の2時間でした。luckyの一言なのでしょうかね！ 今年一年間の運を使ってしまった感じがした。
貴重な時間を過ごせた。

The weather was incredibly nice, and the staff (Kelly, Yuki, Brian) were very kind and took great care of us. We were able to see sea turtles and many beautiful fish, and both the hamburgers and wine were delicious. We took a lot of great photos, especially the ones of us jumping from the boat. Playing volleyball was also fun.

天気がすごーーい良くて、スタッフの皆さんも優しくて大変良くしてくださいました。(ケリー、ゆきちゃん、ブライアン)ウミガメも見れたし、キレイな魚もたくさん見れたし、ハンバーガーもワインも美味しかったし、良い写真がたくさん撮れました(特に船からジャンプしている写真)。バレーボールも楽しかったです。

Everything was perfect, which was sunny day and the pick-up car to Kewalo Basin arrived on time, actually a little early at the appointment place. It was my first whale watching excursion. I really like to recommend this tour if you are available.

The catamaran that my wife and I got on board, I think, is the perfect size for agile movement for following the humpback whales race and watching them closely and even listening to the mysterious and marvelous whale songs. I think this neat ship is much better than massive cruises to watch fast-moving whales.

Staff who are kind and informative also helped us to have a good memory of the whale watching trip. They are very friendly and kind, especially their informative knowledge will help you better understand the humpback whales traits like why they came to Hawaii and what they do and so forth.

More importantly, I think, the staff really know well about the best spot where we can watch whales. Thanks to the wonderful staff, we really enjoyed and got a lucky chance to watch dozens of whales and their competition race as well as the show of spouting water. Moreover, we could watch tremendous whale breach at the end of our trip, which was carried over the mom whale accompanying its baby. It was really an unbelievable and unforgettable moment in our life. It’s worth your every penny.

I had a great time with my grandson, my eldest son and his wife.

First, we enjoyed a beach volleyball game at a sandbar with a water depth of about 20 cm. It was a multinational game, and the skill level wasn't too high. After that, we practiced snorkeling. It was my first time snorkeling, but I had almost no problems. The only issue was when I tried to breathe while swimming freestyle out of habit, and water came in, making me cough. However, since we practiced in shallow water, I was fine after that.

On our way to the coral reef, we encountered several sea turtles. From the boat, they looked like clumps of seagrass floating in the water, but they were all sea turtles. Occasionally, they would come up for air, and my grandkids were thrilled.

We then arrived at our final destination, the coral reef, which was about 50 meters in diameter. We put on life jackets and fins and enjoyed snorkeling. There were plenty of colorful fish around the coral, and we had a great time exploring the reef. I heard that if you're lucky, you can swim with sea turtles, but unfortunately, we couldn't this time. However, we did get to see sea turtles resting on the reef.

Those who were confident swimmers were diving around the boat, and I thought that was a fun way to enjoy it too. My 4-year-old grandson was initially scared and wouldn't swim away from the boat, but when I held his hands and swam together, he had a lot of fun. His impression was, "I saw red and white fish from the surface."

There were also foreign people on the boat, and I became quite friendly with those who enjoyed beach volleyball with us.

We made wonderful family memories.

孫と長男夫妻、妻と一緒に楽しみました。
まず、水深20CM程度のサンドバーで、多国籍のそれほどレベルの高くないビーチバレーを楽み、その後、シュノーケルの練習をしました。シュノーケルは初めてでしたが、問題はほとんどなし。問題があるとすると、クロールで泳いだ時、習慣で息継ぎをしようとしたら、水が入ってきてゲボゲボ。でも、浅いところで練習できたので、それ以降はもう大丈夫でした。
そこから、珊瑚礁に行く途中で複数のウミガメに遭遇。船の上から見ると、海草の束がいくつも浮かんでいるように見えたのですが、それらがみんなウミガメ。時々、顔を上げてのサービスもしてくれ、孫たちは大喜びでした。
そして、最終目的地の珊瑚礁に到着。そこは直径50mほどの珊瑚礁で、ライフジャケットとフィンを付けてシュノーケリング楽しみました。サンゴの周りは色とりどりの魚が一杯で、楽しみながら珊瑚礁を一廻りしました。機会に恵まれると、ウミガメと一緒に泳ぐこともできるそうですが、今回は残念ながら一緒に泳ぐことはできませんでした。しかし、珊瑚礁で休んでいるウミガメにはちゃんと出会えました。
泳ぎに自信のある人は、船の周りで潜っていましたが、そんな楽しみ方も良いと思います。
4歳の孫は最初は怖くて船から泳ぎに出られなかったのですが、両手をとって一緒に泳ぐと結構はしゃいでいました。孫の感想は「水面から赤と白の魚が見えたよ」でした。
船の中では外国の人たちとも一緒で、一緒にビーチバレーを楽しんだ人とは、結構仲良くなりました。
家族の良い思い出が残りました。

I was able to see whales!! The sea was beautiful, and I was pleasantly surprised to see a sea turtle as well. The lunch was delicious too, which was great.

クジラ見れました‼︎海もキレイでよかったです。思いがけずウミガメも見れたし、お昼もおいしくてよかったです。
