I boarded on March 4th. The whale I was looking forward to seeing only showed its tail far in the distance, so I can only say I saw it once. Previously, when I saw whales on Maui, they were right in front of me, so I had high expectations, but it was disappointing to see it like that. I understood 99 percent of the meaning. If you want to see whales, you should go to Maui.

３月4日に乗船しました。楽しみにしていた鯨は、はるか遠くで一度しっぽがみえただけで見たということになりました。以前、マウイ島で見たときはすぐ目の前で見れたので、期待していたのですが、あれで見たといのは残念です。99パーセントの意味がわかりました。
鯨を見たいのであれば、マウイ島に行くべきですね。

I was picked up near the hotel, and I think it was great to participate in this tour because if we had to go on our own, it would have taken a whole day, and we wouldn't have been able to get there just by the trolley.

Also, having a Japanese guide was very helpful as I could ask about the lockers and how to enjoy the place!

We’re not very good with thrilling rides, but we rode all the slides! The available slides change depending on the time, so we took breaks to nap, sunbathe, and take photos. The scariest one was the yellow single-person tube slide that drops almost at a 90-degree angle! If you like the feeling of floating, I recommend it! The appearance, height, and speed of that slide are, in my opinion, number one!

The slide that was both scary and fun, which we rode multiple times, was the one that looks like a red bucket, where you can ride with 2 to 4 people! If there aren’t enough people, you can ride with others around you, and even if there’s a language barrier, the lifeguards will help you! The feeling of floating, the sensation of falling backward, and the thrill of knowing you’re about to drop, along with the comfort of sharing the experience with someone else, was really great!

I ended up riding it multiple times! However, climbing the stairs was a bit challenging since the slides are high up. But it wasn't too crowded, so we could ride quickly and at our own pace, which was nice! The fun of the pool, which you can't find in Japan, makes it exciting whether you go with just two people or a large group. The beautiful scenery and the Hawaiian vibe made me want to go again!

トロリーだけでは行けないので
タクシーなどの移動手段を考えなければ行けなかったので今回のツアーに参加出来てとても良かったと思います！！

また日本人のガイドさんがいらしたので
ロッカーの事や楽しみ方を聞くことができてとても参考になりました！！！

私たちはあまり絶叫が得意ではなかったのですが全部のスライダーに乗りました！
時間によって出来るスライダーが違うので
途中休憩してお昼寝や肌を焼いたり
写真を撮って楽しみました。
1番怖かったのは黄色いひとり用の浮き輪にのってほぼ90度で落ちるスライダーです！！
浮いた感じが好きな人はおススメですね笑
周りから叫び声が聞こえるほど見た目も
高さも速さもスライダーではNo. 1だと思います！
怖くてけど楽しくて何回も乗ったのは
赤いバケツのようなスライダーで
2〜4人で乗ります！人数が足りなかったら周りの人と乗ったり言葉が通じなくても
監視員の人が助けてくれます！！
浮く感じ、後ろから落ちる感じ、
もうすぐ落ちるって言うどきどき感
誰かと一緒にいる安心感と面白いを共有しながら出来るのが凄くいいと思いました！！
ついつい何回も乗りました！！
けどスライダーが高い所から落ちる分
階段を登るのは少し大変でした！
しかしそんなに混んでいなかったので
すぐに乗れたり自分のペースで出来たのがよかったですね！！！日本にはないプールの面白さで2人で行くのも大人数で行くのも盛り上がるし写真も撮っていて綺麗な景色、ハワイ感が出てまた行きたいと思いました！！

I think it might be the season, but it was very cold with the wind blowing. If the weather is nice, I believe it could be enjoyable.

時期的にそうなのかと思いますが、風が吹いてとても寒かったです。天気がいいタイミングであれば楽しめるのではないかと思います。

This time, we visited Hawaii for a wedding, so my family was with me. I thought it would be nice to show my grandmother some whales, so I decided to join the tour. According to the reviews, there were many negative comments about not being able to see any whales, so I had about 30-50% expectations, but we were able to see them over and over again! It became the best memory.

今回は、挙式でハワイに訪れたので家族も一緒でした。おばあちゃんにクジラを見せてあげたいなぁ〜〜と思いツアー参加を決めました。
口コミによると、見れなかったなどマイナスな感想だらけでしたので、30〜50%くらいの期待でしたが、何回も何回も見ることが出来ました！最高な思い出になりました。

I wasn't expecting much since I was told that we might not see any, but I was very satisfied to see many whales and to be able to watch them multiple times. The boat was also good. It was difficult to have lunch because the boat swayed, so it's best to eat early.

今回は、見れないかもしれないといわれていたので期待はしていなかったのですが、沢山のｸｼﾞﾗが出てきてくれて、何回も見ることとが出来とても満足です。
船もよかったです。ﾗﾝﾁは早い目に取らないと船が揺れるので難しかったです。

On our last night in Hawaii, my mother and I participated for the first time.
We started with a buffet on the terrace, where the dancers welcomed us!
They made it very enjoyable and lively. The welcome Mai Tai and the food were delicious and satisfying. It was a windy day and a bit cold, though!

The show was full of Hawaiian vibes, featuring performances like Michael's and fire shows, so it was never boring! I didn't know many of the songs, but my mother had a great time.
The dancing was of a very high level and captivating. I'm glad we had such a wonderful night.

はじめにテラスで、ダンサーの方々にもてなして頂きながらビュッフェ！
とても楽しく盛り上げてくださいました。
ウェルカムマイタイ、ごはんともに美味しく満足でした。風が強い日で寒かったですが笑

ショーはハワイを感じながらも、マイケルや炎のパフォーマンスなど盛り沢山で退屈しません！私はあまり曲は分かりませんでしたが、母はとても楽しんでいました。
ダンスもとてもレベルが高く魅了されました。
素敵な夜を過ごせてよかったです。

I participate in this sailing every year when I come to Hawaii. The view from the sea is also amazing. My mother, who will turn 84 this year, looks forward to this sailing every year. You get a little wet when you get on the boat, but that feels nice.

毎年ハワイに来るたびにこのセーリングに参加しています。
海側から見る景色も最高です。
今年84歳になる母も毎年このセーリングを楽しみにしています。
船に乗る時に多少濡れますがそれがまた気持ち良いです。

This was my first time in Hawaii, and I participated despite being inexperienced. Although I left early, I was anxious because I couldn't find the reception area. The food was more ordinary than I expected, but there was a lot of it. I wasn't feeling well, and since it was outdoors, it got cold halfway through, so a jacket is a must. The show was absolutely satisfying. Both the women and men were wonderful. When it was time to leave, the performers took photos with those who wanted them. It became a great memory.

はじめてのハワイ、不慣れな中の参加です。
早めに出たものの、受付の場所が見つからずやきもきしました。
食事は思ったよりも普通でしたが、ボリュームがあります。
体調が悪かったのもありますが、屋外ということもあり途中で寒くなってきたので羽織必須ですね。
ショーは言うことなしの大満足でした。
女性も男性も素敵の一言。帰る段になって、希望者には出演者が一緒に写真を撮ってくれました。良い思い出になりました。

I signed up with the intention of leisurely walking on the sandbar. I thought I could jump around like in the photos posted. However, when I arrived, it was high tide, and I couldn't walk at all. It was disappointing that I ended up having to get into the water, even though I hadn't planned on it. I also felt that my information-gathering skills were lacking, as it was clearly stated that the sandbar couldn't be walked on in the afternoon, even though I participated in the morning...

That said, all the event staff were very nice, and even though I couldn't participate in snorkeling because I’m not good at it, they accommodated me by letting me ride a kayak and a speedboat, so I enjoyed that part. I thought the BBQ meal would be cooked on the sandbar, but it turned out to be a buffet style served on the boat. The meat was delicious, and the bone-in short ribs were my favorite flavor, so I had seconds multiple times.

I also didn't get to see any sea turtles. It seemed that those who participated in snorkeling were able to see them. Although it was called a "Heavenly Sea Tour," based on my experience on the date I attended (it rained a little too), I honestly didn't feel that way, and I thought it could have been the same at a nearby beach. I think it would be good if they clearly stated the potential downsides beforehand to manage expectations.

サンドバーをのんびり歩くつもりで申込みをしました。
掲載されてる写真のように、ジャンプしたりできるかと。
しかし、到着すると満潮で歩く事はできませんでした。
水に入るつもりもなかったのに、
水に入らざるを得ない状況になってしまったのも残念でした。
私の情報収集能力が欠けてたせいもあるのですが、
午後はサンドバーは歩けませんと大きく明記してあると、
午前に参加したのに…と思いました。
ただ、イベントスタッフの方はみんな良い人でしたし、
シュノーケリングが苦手で参加出来しなかったのですが、
カヤックに乗せてくれたり、スピードボードに乗せてくれたり、
いろいろ対応して頂けたので、その部分は楽しめました。
食事のBBQは、サンドバーで実際に焼いて楽しむのかと思いましたが、
出来上がってるものを船上でビュッフェスタイルで頂くものでした。
お肉は美味しくて、骨付きのカルビは大好きな味で、
何度もおかわりしました。
ウミガメも見れませんでした。
シュノーケリングに参加した人は見れたようです。
天国の海ツアーでしたが、私が参加した日時に関して言えば、
（雨も少し降りました）そんな感じは受けず、
近くの海でも同じかなと思えたのが正直な感想です。
参加する前の期待が大きくならないように、
悪い時の事も大きく明記してくれるといいかなと思いました。

The weather wasn't great and it was cold, but it was good that it didn't rain. I was happy to see whales a few times!

Water parks are just plain fun, aren't they? With such a vast area, you can enjoy it for a whole day or just half a day, depending on your stamina. The coin lockers accept credit cards (there are machines that do and don't accept them, so be sure to choose one that does). The admission ticket came with a voucher that can be used as a discount ticket when you spend a certain amount at the shop.

理屈抜きでウォーターパークは楽しいですよね。広大な敷地なので体力次第で一日でも半日でも遊べます。コインロッカーはクレジットカード対応（対応している機械と対応していない機械がありますが、対応している方を選ぶ）してくれてます。入場券には売店で一定額以上利用すると割引券として使えるチケットが付いていました。

My wife and I went on the Sunset Dinner Cruise on the Star of Honolulu to celebrate our thirty-fifth wedding anniversary. This was one of the things we had scheduled in advance of our trip to Oahu, because we had heard nothing but good things about the cruise. They did not disappoint. From our meet and great with the captain to the final departure from the ship, everything was first class. The entire crew was extremely friendly and very accommodating. Our server, Germese, could not have been any nicer and very attentive. The food was delicious and the drinks were amazing. We also enjoyed the live entertainment during and after dinner. It did start to rain as we were heading back to the dock, but the crew took very good care of us and walked us out to our transportation with umbrellas. Would definitely cruise again if we get back to Waikiki. We would certainly recommend the Star of Honolulu to anyone who wants to be treated perfectly. Aloha!

In the morning, I was a bit worried because it was very early, but the guide arrived on time and was very energetic, so I didn't get bored on the bus. We were able to jump from the boat and see dolphins, and the local staff, who are also professional hula dancers, showed us wonderful hula dances on the boat.

There were some people who got seasick, but the hamburgers they made on the boat were simple yet delicious! I felt like I wanted to swim more in the ocean, but it was a lot of fun.

朝、とても早かったので少し心配でしたが、ガイドさんも遅れずに来てもらえし、朝から、とても元気なガイドさんだったので、バスでも退屈しませんでした。　船から、飛び込み、イルカを見ることもできましたし、フラダンスのプロでもある現地スタッフの方々が船の上で素敵なフラダンスも見せてくれました。
船酔いされていた方もいらっしゃいましたが、船の上で作ってくれた、ハンバーガーはとても素朴でしたが美味しかったです！　もっと海で泳ぎたかった気もしますが、とても楽しかったです。

This was my first trip to Hawaii with my mother, and I wanted to see various places, so I joined this tour. I found it very interesting that even in different countries within the same area, the cultures vary slightly. We had a great time with experiences like crafting, hula dancing, and meals included.

今回は母親と初めてのハワイだったこともあって、色々なところを見て見たかったので、このツアーに参加しました。
同じエリアの違う国によっても、少しずつ文化が違うことがすごく興味深かったです。物作り体験や、フラダンス、食事までついて来てとても楽しむことができました。

I participated in a catamaran sailing departing from Waikiki Beach, facing the Sheraton Waikiki. The two-hour afternoon trip offered a pleasant view of Diamond Head and the hotels along Waikiki Beach. Blessed with good weather, seeing Waikiki from the deep blue sea provided a different atmosphere from the bustling streets, allowing me to fully enjoy the resort vibe.

シェラトンワイキキに面するワイキキビーチから発着するカタマランセーリングに参加。昼下がりの2時間はダイヤモンドヘッドやワイキキビーチに沿ったホテル群を気持ちよく展望。好天に恵まれ、紺碧の海から見るワイキキはまた賑やかな街並みとは違った雰囲気でリゾート地の気分を満喫できました。

This tour is安心できる with no rocking of the boat. The best seats are on the right side facing the direction of travel. Although it is stated that the meal is a light snack, it turned out to be a buffet, so you can eat as much as you want. One drink is included, and if it's a soft drink, you can enjoy unlimited refills.

船は揺れもなく安心できるツアーです。
座る席は進行方向に向いて右側が最高です。食事も軽食とは書いてありますが
バイキングになっているので食べ放題でした。
１ドリンクは付いていますがソフトドリンクであれば飲み放題です。

The most awesome snorkelling experience at turtle canyon.
Sadly no whales to see(but v late in season) but we had spinner dolphins alongside the boat.
Great catamaran, fantastic captain and crew who helped us capture awesome videos.
Highly recommended! Great value for money. Book it!

When we arrived by bus, it was still before opening time, so we waited in front of the entrance. There were various attractions like slides, and we had a good time overall, but since it wasn't very crowded, we ended up having some extra time until the meeting time for our return.

バスで現地に着くと開園時間がまだだったので入り口前で待ちました。スライダー等、いろいろとあったので一通り楽しめましたが、そんなに混んでいなかったので帰りの集合時間まで少し時間をもてあましてしまいました。

Since it was early February, it was a bit less crowded, and I was able to enjoy it thoroughly. The shuttle service was provided in Japanese, which made it easy to understand. Just a note that you can't bring in juice, but you can bring in water bottles.

2月上旬ということもあり、少し空いており十分楽しめました。送迎も日本語で行なっていただけて、わかりやすかったです。
ジュースは持ち込めず、水飲み持ち込み可なところだけ注意です。

The ship was large and had a relaxed atmosphere. The buffet was delicious. There was live music throughout the journey, which was pleasant and wonderful. I was able to see the whales spouting water multiple times, swimming, and diving with their tails up. It was exciting to wonder where they would appear and how long they would show themselves. However, the distance to the whales made it hard to feel their grandeur. I saw them several times, and it was great to see a mother and calf swimming together.

船は大きくてゆったりした感じ。
ビュッフェも美味しかったです。
乗船中ずーと生演奏の歌があり心地よく素敵でした。
クジラは何回も潮を吹いているところや泳いでいるところ、しっぽを上げて潜るところをみれました。どこに現れるかどのくらい見せてくれるか、はらはらドキドキでした。
ただクジラまで距離があり、クジラの迫力は感じられませんでした。
何回も見られたし、親子で泳いでいるのも見れたのでとても良かったです。

I participated in the tour in January. Overall, I was satisfied with the content of the tour. It was the rainy season, but I had a great time. I felt safe while snorkeling because we had floats. I even got to see a sea turtle.

At the end of the tour, there was an announcement saying, "If you are satisfied, please consider tipping," so it's a good idea to have cash ready.

However, I was a bit disappointed with the staff's response. During the free time of the tour, the staff were taking photos of each group, but while other groups were posing and taking multiple shots, we were not approached at all. Later, we could purchase the photos taken, but the only one of us during our free time was a single shot taken from a distance, and it wasn't even a posed shot—it was a candid one.

Looking at the overall tour photos, it seemed that only families and groups of girls were being photographed, while there were very few pictures of couples.

(This is a subjective impression, but I felt a bit uncomfortable seeing the staff taking multiple photos of the all-girls groups while ignoring us. Haha.)

Even though we paid the same tour fee, it felt like there was a difference in treatment, so I think it's important to think carefully about the tip amount at the end.

1月に参加しました。ツアーの内容はおおむね満足です。雨季でしたが楽しく過ごせました。
シュノーケルも浮きを付けるので安心して行えました。ウミガメもみれました。
ツアーの最後に「満足できた場合はチップをお願いします」とアナウンスされるので、現金を用意した方が良いです。

ただスタッフの方の対応にちょっとがっかりでした。
ツアーの自由行動中に、スタッフの方がグループ毎に声をかけて写真を撮っていたのですが、他のグループはポーズをつけて何度も撮影していたのに、私達は声もかけられませんでした。
後から撮影写真をみて購入できますが、私達の自由行動中の写真は遠くから撮影された1枚だけでした。それもカメラ目線ですらなく隠し撮りです。
ツアー全体の写真をみても、なぜか家族連れや女の子のグループばかり撮影されていて、カップルの写真は少なかったです。

（主観的な感想ですが、スタッフの方が女の子だけのグループに声をかけて何枚も何枚も写真を撮っていたのは若干気持ち悪く感じてしまいました。笑）

同じようにツアー代金を払っていてもこんなふうに差をつけられるので、最後に払うチップ代金はよく考えた方が良いと思います。

Nice ride, kind staff. No whales. There was a promise to have a free new cruise if whales were not spotted, but I did not see the lady, who had to organise that. So, bit disappointing all in all

I participated with my parents. There was a problem with the hotel pickup (it was because we couldn't speak English...), and we got separated from my parents. Additionally, my son's luggage went missing (laughs). However, thanks to the prompt response from the staff, we were able to reunite with my parents and thoroughly enjoy whale watching, seeing whales multiple times. Also, my son's missing luggage was delivered to the hotel. I sincerely thank the staff, especially Emiko, for their help. The meals provided during the trip were ample, and after the watching ended, fresh fruits were added, which made me feel well taken care of.

You don't need to worry if you can't speak English (laughs). I would love to use this service again if I have the chance. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

両親と一緒に参加しました。ホテルピックアップでトラブルがあり(私達が英語が出来なかったせいですが…)両親と離れ離れに、、、更に息子の荷物も行方不明に(笑)しかしスタッフさんの迅速な対応のお陰で両親とも合流でき、ホエールウォッチングも満喫、クジラも何度も見ることが出来ました。そして、行方不明になっていた息子の荷物もホテルまで届けていただきました。日本人スタッフの恵美子さん他、スタッフ方々に心から御礼申し上げます。乗船中の食事は十分用意されていますし、ウォッチングが終わった後にはフルーツ等が新たに足されて本当に行き届いているなと感じました。
英語が話せなくても大丈夫です。(笑)
機会があればまた利用したいです。

Our tour guide was very informative. She talked about the Hawaiin lifestyle and how things have changed for them over the years. She was also very good about teaching us some of the Hawaiin language. A very important part of the culture. One thing would have made this better would have been a better lunch menu. The buffet at Kualoa ranch was limited.

We liked the different stops we did. Lunch was awesome we stopped at a new place due to the festival at the town we were suppose to have lunch at. Plane flights were great. Only thing that was negative was the guide tended to repeat herself and kind of bad mouth the US for taking over the Hawaiin Islands. We took this tour on 2/24 with Kats.

The place was pretty nice and there really wasn't anything wrong. We just were too tired to see the show at the end of the night. I wish they would of had an earlier show.

First, we had dinner. The server was kind and tried to liven up the atmosphere. They were more attentive than those at high-end restaurants, so I was satisfied with both the taste and the service!
I think the show is also worth seeing. Since I am a fan of Michael Jackson, it was amusing when the impersonator came out. The backup dancers were well-prepared, and the effects were impressive, making it a more authentic show than I expected!

まずは、夕食をいただきました。サーバーの方が親切で場を盛り上げようとしてくれました。高級レストランよりも気配りができるサーバーの方でしたので、味もサービスも満足でした！
ショーも見る価値があると思います。もともと私自身がマイケルジャクソンのファンでもあるので、偽マイケルジャクソンがでてきた時は面白かったです。バックダンサーもしっかりついており、効果もしっかりしており、思っていたよりも本格的なショーで楽しめました！！

Unfortunately, we couldn't see any whales, but since it's nature, that's understandable. I think it would be amazing if we could see them. Even without seeing whales, you can still enjoy the cruising experience. I definitely recommend bringing binoculars!

残念ながらクジラは見れませんでしたが、自然相手なのでそこは仕方ありません。見れたら最高だと思いますよ。クジラが見れなくてもクルージング気分は味わえます。是非、双眼鏡を持参する事をお奨めします！

I participated in a tour on the afternoon of February 26, 2018. The weather was mostly cloudy, which was different from the typical image of Hawaii's skies, but the boat didn't sway much, so I didn't get seasick. As for the whales, perhaps due to the size of the boat, there were limitations on how close we could get. We were able to see them a few times in the distance. The dorsal fin came up, there was a spout, and finally, the tail fin popped up for the finish. Smaller boats from other tours were able to get a bit closer! However, they might have experienced more swaying and seasickness.

At one point, it started to drizzle and it was windy and cold, so we moved to the lounge on the second floor. During times like this, I was glad to be on this boat.

2018.2.26の午後からのツアーに参加しました。天候は曇りがちで、ハワイの空のイメージとは違いどんよりでしたが、船の揺れは少なかったので船酔いは無かったです。肝心のクジラですが、船が大きい分、近づく距離に制限があるのでしょうか？遠くで何回か見ることが出来ました。背びれが浮いてきて、潮吹き、ラストは尾びれがぴょこんと出てきてフィニッシュ。他のツアーの小さい船はもう少し近づいて見れてましたよ！でも船の揺れは大きく船酔いするかもです。
途中小雨が降り風もあり寒かったので、2階ラウンジに移動。こういう時はこちらの船で良かったと思いました。
