Abbiamo fatto questa escursione durante il nostro viaggio di nozze ad Honolulu ed alloggiavamo all'Hilton Hawaiian Village.
L'escursione è stata nel complesso molto bella, ma il servizio navetta per portarti dall'hotel al porto dove partiva il catamarano è stato veramente scadente, all'andata non c'era posto per tutti e due ragazze si sono fatte 40 minuti di strada in piedi, al ritorno abbiamo aspettato circa 40 minuti perchè la navetta ha ritardato.
l'escursione invece è stata molto bella, abbiamo fatto 2 immersioni, abbiamo visto 3 tartarughe ma di delifini neanche l'ombra.
A bordo c'è un bel pranzo e i ragazzi sono gentilissimi e carinissimi!

We booked a morning tour.
We went with high expectations, but it was a bit different from what we saw in books and on TV, with shallow areas that were knee-deep!
It seems that what we see in books and on TV is only during the best conditions, and this can only be left to chance. So if you lower your expectations a bit, you're sure to be incredibly moved.
Since it was our first time, we were quite excited, but next time I hope to see some sandy areas! (*^^*)
Even if there aren't any sandy areas, the contrast of that ocean is truly wonderful!
When you think of Hawaii, I would definitely rank it in my top three for nice views!
Also, the crew leader, Mike, was incredibly kind, and being able to have pleasant conversations with him was one of the reasons we had such a great experience.

僕らは午前中のツアーを申し込みました。
二人で期待に胸膨らませ行きましたけど、本やテレビで見たのと少し違うく浅いとこでも膝ぐらいありました！
やはり本やテレビで見せられるのは最高に条件の整っている時で、これは運任せとしか言えません。だから少し期待度を下げて行くとものすごく感動すること間違いなしです。
僕らは初めてだったものだからかなり興奮しましたが、次回行った時は是非砂地が見られるといいな〜って(*^^*)
例え砂地が出てなくたって、あの海のコントラストは本当に素晴らしいものです☆
ハワイと言えば？？で僕ならTOP３に入れたいぐらいのナイスビューでした！
そしてクルーのリーダー？！のマイクがもの凄く優しく、気持ちよく会話できたのも理由の一つです。

By chance, I was able to see a rainbow, a sea turtle, and everything. The sandbar was as beautiful as I expected, with very clear water. Although the snorkeling was brief, I saw a lot of fish. However, in terms of clarity, the waters around Kerama Islands in Okinawa are much clearer. Since it's a sandbar, there’s likely a lot of sand, and with many people snorkeling at once, the sand gets stirred up, so the visibility underwater isn't very good. However, I participated mainly to see the scenery of the sandbar, so I was quite satisfied. (By the way, the sandwich was just bread with cheese and ham, and I wasn't expecting much, but it was a bit disappointing.) Also, I didn't feel seasick at all. Perhaps because it was calm in the inland sea, the boat didn't rock much.

偶然にも虹、えい、ウミガメすべてが見れました。サンドバーも期待通りとてもきれいな海でした。シュノーケリングは短い時間ではありましたが、魚もたくさんみれました。ただ、透明度に関しては沖縄の慶良間島のほうがずっと透明です。サンドバーなだけあって砂が多いのだろうし、大勢で一度にシュノーケリングするので砂が舞い上がるのか、海の中の透明度はあまりよくないです。ただ、シュノーケリングよりサンドバーの景色を見たくて参加したので、十分満足です。（ちなみにサンドイッチはパンにチーズとハムがはさんであるものがでただけで、期待してはいませんでしたが、うーん・・・という感じでした。）それから、船酔いは全然しません。内海で静かだからかあまり船はゆれません。

The guide who picked us up in the morning spoke suspicious Japanese. Inside the car, he explained everything in English without any warnings, and we arrived at the destination. What was wonderful was that we had about an hour of sandbar, turtle watching, and snorkeling, so even my wife, who can't swim, had a great time snorkeling with a life jacket and a float. For lunch, we had hamburgers, which were very delicious—I wanted a second helping. Additionally, the crew here was very cheerful and greeted us with a loud "Aloha!" which lifted our spirits. The guide who picked us up in the morning played the guitar and sang during lunchtime, but it seemed like that was his job... (not really necessary?). In particular, the boats for Japanese and foreigners were separated, but the foreigners were smoking at the sandbar and had poor manners, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable. 朝迎えに来たガイドさんが、あやしい日本語でした。車内では、英語で全部説明？してるし、何の注意点もなく、現地へ到着しました。またこのガイドは、帰りのバスでは、途中で降りて消えてしまいました。まぁ、そのガイドはさておき、現地の船では日本語できちんと対応してもらいました。すばらしいのは、サンドバーとカメウォッチ、さらにはシュノーケルが１Ｈぐらいあったので、泳げない嫁でも、ライフジャケットと浮棒？でとても楽しくシュノーケルをしていました。ランチは、ハンバーグでしたがとてもおいしく、おかわりがほしいくらいでした。また、ここのクルーはとても陽気でアローーーーーーーハァーのあいさつで気分を楽しくしてくれました。朝迎えに来たガイドは、ランチタイムに、ギターを弾いて歌っていましたが、結局それが仕事みたいでした・・・（あまり必要ない人？？）とくに、日本人と外人さんの船が分かれていたのですが、外人さんは、サンドバーでもたばこを吸っていたり、マナーが悪いので、気分が少し嫌になりました。全体的にはとても良かったです

I went to Flat Island with my daughter on a two-person kayak. At Flat Island, we were able to see seabird eggs, which was a wonderful experience. The sea was very beautiful, and it's a place I would like to visit again. Carrying the kayak to the sea was a bit tough, but the refreshing feeling afterward was exceptional. At the pizza place for lunch, little birds came by, and we had a great time.

After a comfortable drive of just over an hour from Waikiki towards the North, I spotted the GUNSTOCK sign and felt a rush of excitement. The expansive ranch, along with the goats and horses, was truly soothing and impressive.

While horseback riding, I leisurely enjoyed the scenery, and at the top of the hill, a breathtaking view unfolded, making me feel refreshed. Riding while holding the reins myself really allowed me to fully embrace the cowboy experience.

I used this service with my elderly parents and my family of three. We were able to see manta rays and sea turtles, but I couldn't understand the guide's fast-paced explanations, and I would like to request a bit more consideration for the users. It may be routine work for them, but I hope for a more professional approach.

During snorkeling, we were able to see many fish, but the time was short and it ended in no time. I was also expecting a sandbar as advertised, but there was surprisingly a lot of water, which was a bit disappointing.

I finally got to go on the tour I had been wanting to go on in July. Actually, my husband is 63 years old and I am 54, and I wasn't confident in my swimming skills, so I didn't plan to go snorkeling. However, I was overcome by the urge to try it, and I experienced it by myself. It was my first time in life! I'm glad I did it. As for the sandbar, I didn't check the moon's condition before going, so it was quite full, but I was satisfied. The sandwich was simple, but it was delicious!

Even as a first-timer, I was able to participate without any anxiety because the staff taught us patiently. I was also impressed by the beauty of the ocean! However, it seems that the weather conditions were unusually good recently, so I felt a bit underwhelmed as we reached the uninhabited island without much difficulty. For those with kayaking experience, it might be more enjoyable to just rent a kayak and move around freely.

Also, the pizza recommended by the guide for lunch was delicious.

ただ、ここ最近では珍しいほど天候の条件が良かったらしく、特に苦労せず無人島まで辿り着けたので多少物足りなさを感じました。
カヤック経験者の方は、カヤックのみ借りて自由に動き回った方が面白いかも知れません。

あと、ランチに食べたガイドさんオススメのピザがうまかったです。

It was my first experience with kayaking, so I was worried it might be difficult to reach the uninhabited island, but it was no problem at all! Before getting into the kayak, we had a briefing on how to paddle, and even after we hit the water, our guide provided us with advice.

Due to my lack of exercise lately, my arms got a little tired (^ｰ^;), but the amazing views from the kayak made me forget all about that!!! On the uninhabited island, you can also snorkel if you wish. Next time, I want to challenge myself to a longer distance.

For the morning tour, we transported the kayaks from the shop to the beach, but since there was a cart, it was easy. Moving it from the cart to the sandy beach was a bit challenging (though it was just a short distance).

カヤック初体験だったので、無人島まで行くのは大変じゃないかな？と心配しましたが、まったく問題ありませんでした!カヤックに乗りこむ前に漕ぎ方のレクチャーがあり、海に出てからもガイドさんがアドバイスしてくれます。
日頃の運動不足のせいで、腕が少し疲れましたが(^ｰ^;)、カヤックから望む素晴らしい景色でそんなものは吹っ飛んでしまいます!!!
無人島では、希望すればシュノーケルもできます。
次回はもう少し長い距離に挑戦したいなと思います。

午前中のツアーは、カヤックをSHOPからビーチまで運ぶのですが、台車が付いていたので、ラクラクでしたよ。台車から下ろして、砂浜の上を移動させるのが少し大変でした(といっても、ほんの少しの距離です)

I have never been to such a wonderful place before. Being in the middle of the ocean felt very surreal. I was satisfied to enjoy it with my son. I wish we had more time for snorkeling. We were able to see even more tropical fish than at Hanauma Bay. It was a lot of fun! It became a great memory. The staff was friendly too! Next time, I want to join a wild dolphin tour.

This time, my 74-year-old mother joined us on the dolphin tour. At the snorkeling point, we were able to see sea turtles up close. There were also plenty of fish. There were two Japanese staff members on board who provided thorough explanations and kind assistance, allowing us to have a very enjoyable time. The lunch was delicious as well. On the way back to the port, we encountered dolphins! The dolphins chased the boat and seemed to be playing while swimming, which was very cute. 今回は７４歳の母も一緒にイルカツアーに参加しました。シュノーケリングポイントではウミガメをとても近くで見ることができました。さかなもいっぱいいました。スタッフも日本人の方が２名乗船しており、丁寧な説明と親切な対応をしていただき、とても楽しい時間を過ごすことが出来ました。ランチもおいしかったです。帰港途中でイルカにも遭遇！イルカがボートを追いかけてきて、遊びながら泳いでいる様で、とてもかわいかったです。機会があれば、是非、また参加したいツアーです。

It was a tour that ended in the morning, and I thought that 30 minutes on the sandbar might not be enough time. However, other morning tours were fully booked, so I reluctantly (I apologize for that) chose this tour.

But in the end, it turned out to be a very satisfying experience! The staff were very kind, and they proactively offered to take photos for us.

At the time of booking, I didn't think there would be any time for snorkeling, but after taking a lot of pictures at the sandbar, we were able to experience a little bit of it.

I wasn't timing it exactly, but it felt like we had more than 30 minutes. I recommend this tour as you can schedule other activities in the afternoon! ☆

午前中で終わるツアーで、サントバーに上陸できるのが３０分ほどということで、時間足りないんじゃないかなー？と思いましたが、他の朝のツアーがもう予約いっぱいで、仕方なく（失礼ですみません）こちらのツアーにしました。
でも、結果大変満足なツアーになりました！
スタッフの方々はとても親切で、写真も自ら声をかけていただき率先して撮ってくださいました。

予約の段階ではとてもシュノーケルする時間なんてないと思っていましたが、サンドバーでたくさん写真を撮った後でも、少し体験することができました。

実際時間を計っていた訳ではないのですが、体感的には３０分より多かった気がします。
午後には他の予定を入れることができるしお勧めです☆

This was my first experience with sea kayaking, and it was a lot of fun. At one point, I lost my balance and capsized, but our guide, Jordan, helped me get back on track quickly, and I was able to enjoy myself. The view on the uninhabited island was so beautiful that I wished I had brought my camera (they lend you waterproof bags). I definitely plan to bring it next time. Kailua Beach is really pleasant, and during the free time in the first half of the tour, it might be nice to lay out a rental mat and just relax. By the way, the teriyaki chicken in the lunch plate was also delicious.

今回シーカヤック初挑戦でしたが、大変楽しかったです。途中、バランスを崩して横転してしまいましたが、ガイドのジョーダン君にすぐに立て直してもらい、楽しく過ごせました。無人島では景色が良かったのでカメラを持ってくれば良かったと思いました(防水の荷物入れを貸してくれます)。次回は必ず持っていこうと思います。カイルアのビーチは本当に気持ちよく、ツアー前半の自由時間はレンタルのゴザを敷いてぼーっとするのも気持ち良いかもしれません。余談ですが、お昼のプレートランチのテリヤキチキンも美味しかったです。

I participated with two elementary school boys. The sandbar was about calf-deep, but it was still beautiful... I was thrilled to encounter three sea turtles during snorkeling! I was also very lucky to see a manta ray! It was a fantastic tour. However, it can be cold after coming out of the water, so even in summer, a jacket might be necessary.

小学生の男の子二人と参加しました。サンドバーはふくらはぎ程度でしたが、やっぱりきれい。。。そのあとのシュノーケリングでウミガメ３匹と出会え感激！でした。マンタの姿も見れ、非常にラッキー！なツアーでした。でも海上がりは寒いので、夏でも上着（はおりもの）は必要かも。
