I wasn't sure what a sandbar was, but I participated anyway. It was a wonderful place. I was able to see a lot of sea turtles, and snorkeling was fun. It felt like I was in an aquarium with so many fish around. The hamburger that was prepared when I got hungry was also delicious.

The sunset dinner experience was extraordinary. The food was exquisite and our waitress was amazing. Keilani made us feel at home and made sure our experience was superb. In addition, the assistant manager Crystal Tagudin stopped by our table and chat with us for a while to make sure that our expectations were met. I absolutely loved it and look forward to going back next time I'm in Hawaii. Thank you Star of Honolulu staff!!!

We participated as a group of 12 people, including six children (three aged 5 and three elementary school students) and six adults from three families. Our family used this service for the second consecutive year! Due to the large number of participants, we split into two boats: one with mostly Japanese passengers and the other with a mix of foreigners and a few Japanese. Based on the children's request, we boarded the boat with more foreigners. However, there were also Japanese guides, and the announcements were made separately for Japanese and foreigners, with us receiving information in Japanese.

We departed from the hotel at 9:00 AM, and thanks to the good timing of the tides, there were spots at the sandbar where the 5-year-olds could stand, and they had a great time with the floaties. The adults set up a court with poles right there, and we played beach volleyball. During the sea turtle watching, we spotted several turtles, and those who entered the water early encountered a large resting turtle very close to the entry point! It seemed to swim away after some noise, so those who entered later missed it, but those who saw it were lucky. We were able to float and observe the turtle for several minutes right above it! It might be better to prepare for snorkeling early to increase your chances. They also provided free rental vests, fins, and snorkels for the kids, which was convenient.

We brought our own floaties, but there were also several floating tubes available on the boat that we used (the 5-year-old was taken with a floatie, vest, and floating tube to see the sea turtles). During snorkeling, there were areas with a depth of several meters, and since it was all coral, there were no areas where you could stand. The distance from the boat to the coral area where the turtles were was about 10 meters, so as long as the children are not afraid of deep water, they should be fine. There were also many beautiful small fish. I think it would be better to change clothes before getting on the return bus since it can be cold. We brought one rental beach towel for each child from the hotel, which was a good decision. The hamburgers for lunch were delicious! The beer we had on the boat after swimming (additional charge, settled upon disembarking) was also excellent. We used the same tour for two consecutive years, and we were fully satisfied as we could feel the essence of Hawaii!

5-10才までの子ども６人（５才３人小学生３人）、大人６人計３家族１２人のグループで参加しました。小生家族は昨年に続き２年連続の利用です！人数が多かったため日本人ばかりの船と、外国人＋日本人少しの船に別れ、子どものリクエスト！により外人が多い方に乗船しました。といっても、ガイドは日本人の方もいて、途中案内は日本人外人別々に、我々には日本語で行って頂けました。朝9:00ホテル発でしたが潮のタイミングが良く、サンドバーでは５才の子ども達も立つことが出来るような場所もあり、浮き輪で充分楽しめました。大人はその場でポールを立ててコートを作ってくれたので、ビーチバレーで遊びました。ウミガメウオッチでは何匹かのカメを発見、シュノーケリングでは早くに海に入った人が、エントリーポイントすぐ近くにいたかなりでかいお休み中のカメに遭遇！途中で騒がしかったのか泳いで行ってしまい、後から入った人は見れませんでしたが見れた人はラッキーでした。数分間は休んでいるカメの真上でぷかぷか浮きながら観察できました！早めにシュノーケリングの準備をして入った方がチャンスがあるのかも。子供用のベスト、フィン、シュノーケルも無料で貸して頂けたので便利でした。浮き輪も持参しましたが、浮き輪代わりの浮くチューブは何本も船に用意してありそれも利用しました（５才児は浮き輪＋ベスト＋浮くチューブで連れて行きウミガメを見せることができました。シュノーケリングの時は水深数メートルのところもある上、サンゴばかりで立つことが出来るエリアはありません。船からサンゴエリア・ウミガメのいたところまで10mほどでしたので、水と深いのが怖くなければ子どもも大丈夫だと思います。きれいな小さな魚もたくさんいました）。帰りのバスは寒いので着替えてから乗車した方が良いと思います。ホテルのプール用のレンタルバスタオルを子どもの分も１人１枚持参しましたが正解でした。昼食のハンバーガーは美味しかったです！泳ぎ終わった後、船の上で飲んだビール（別料金、下船時に精算）も最高でした。２年続けて同じツアーを利用しましたがハワイらしさを感じることができ、充分満足でした！

The weather in Kaneohe is very changeable, so it depended on the weather. It would have been more enjoyable if the sunny weather had lasted longer, but it got cold when it was cloudy... However, I was glad to see the clear ocean and the honu (sea turtles).

カネオヘの天気はすごく変わりやすいので天気次第でした。
晴れがずっと続いたらもっと楽しかったんですが、曇ると寒い…
でも、澄んだ海やホヌが見れたので、よかったです。

I attended a luau show. Since I had made a reservation here, the process was smooth. The show itself was average, and the food was also average at the buffet. I think it's a good option to reserve with peace of mind and see it at least once.

ルアウショーを見てきました。
こちらで予約していたので、手続きはスムーズでした。
ショー自体は普通、食べ物もビュッフェで普通でした。
安心して予約して、一度見るにはいいのかなと思います。

It was a great excursion I will recommend to everyone , I will go again

My kids and I found it to be a fun and learning experience. To learn about all the different Polynesian people in that kind of setting was great. The food and the show was wonderful.

My wife and I rode together. There was also a family of foreigners with us, including a child around elementary school age. This course doesn't involve much running, so it's fine for beginners. They take commemorative photos with a beautiful view of the sea in the background, so a camera is a must. If you have some riding experience, you can manage even if you don't understand English. It's an easy experience to have in Hawaii, so I recommend participating if you have any interest.

嫁さんと2人で乗りました。一緒に外人さんの家族も一緒でしたが、小学生くらいの子供も参加されていました。こちらのコースはほとんど走ったりはしないので初心者でも大丈夫です。
高台の景色の良いところで海をバックに記念写真を撮ってくれるので、カメラは必須です。
何度か乗馬経験があれば英語がわからなくてもなんとかなります。
ハワイで簡単に体験できるので少しでも興味があれば参加することをお勧めします。

This is my third time, and it has become a staple whenever I come to Hawaii. They let you run quite a bit through the ranch. Although I consider myself an intermediate rider, I have only ridden about seven or eight times abroad, but they still let me ride. However, since you run in some narrow areas, I wouldn't recommend it unless you are comfortable with horseback riding. You actually have to avoid branches that might hit your head while galloping, which can be dangerous, but those who are confident can enjoy it. Helmets are self-reported, so there's no need to wear one if you don't want to (you sign a waiver and take responsibility). Initially, I rode with my wife, but she said it was scary and doesn't want to ride again.

今回で3回目になりますが、ハワイに来た時の定番になっています。
牧場の中をかなり走らせてくれます。上級者となっていますが私は海外での乗馬経験が７、8回位ですが乗らせてくれます。ただし、狭いところも結構走るので乗馬に余裕がある人でないとお勧めしません。実際に駆け足の途中で頭に当たりそうな木の枝を避けたりしないといけないので危ないですが、自信のある人だと楽しめます。
ヘルメットも自己申告制ですので無理にかぶる必要もありません。（サインして自己責任です）
実際に一番最初は嫁さんと2人で乗りましたが、怖かったのでもう乗らないと言っています。

Michael Jackson and others were incredibly fun, and I seriously want to see a real show in Las Vegas or New York‼️ A high-scoring show!

Although it was supposed to be a Japanese guide, the bus from the pickup point to the destination was entirely in English with a foreign guide. Moreover, the guide spoke loudly in English, continuously rambling about things that made no sense, which was not only noisy but also very unpleasant. On the return bus, unfortunately, it was the same foreign guide, and there was no proper explanation or guidance, leaving some people confused about which bus to take.

日本語ガイドの筈なのに、ピックアップから現地までのバスの中は外人ガイドで全て英語でした。しかもでかい声で英語でず〜と訳わからないことをしゃべり続けられて、うるさいだけでなく非常に不快でした。帰りのバスに乗る時も、残念ながら同じ外人のガイドで、説明も案内もまともになく、どのバスに乗っていいのかもわからず困っている方もいらっしゃいました。

I am a native Hawaiian so I know my way around a luau. I was home visiting family and decided to take my wife and kids to Chief's Luau at Sea Life Park Hawaii. I must say it was THE BEST luau I have ever been to. The food was excellent as I usually go to a luau for the food first and show second. The show was even better as Chief was the perfect showman with talent to burn. Speaking of burn, the fire dancers were simply AMAZING!! The entire show was dazzling as each Polynesian country were represented in true artistry. What an amazing show with some of the most delicious authentic Hawaiian food I have ever tasted. My only complaint, and its a small one, is that there was no haupia for dessert.

I participated on my last night in Hawaii. I was torn between the Polynesian Center and Hilton, but considering the fatigue of my elderly parents, I chose Hilton. I also considered Golden Circle, but I was glad I chose Hilton since we arrived a bit late and still got pretty good seats. The show was decent (the Polynesian show I saw in Guam might have been better…). However, it was only in English, so I didn’t understand the talk very well. The meal was a buffet, and the flavors suited Japanese tastes, so I felt comfortable eating everything. It included two drinks, and the price seemed reasonable. Overall, it was very good.

ハワイ最後の夜に参加しました。ポリネシアセンターと迷いましたが、高齢の両親と一緒なので
移動の疲れを考えてヒルトンにしました。ゴールデンサークルも迷ったけど、少し遅れて到着しても結構良い席だったので選んでよかったです。ショーはそこそこよかったです（グアムで見たポリネシアンショーの方がよかったかも…）ただ英語オンリーなのでトークはよくわかりませんでした。食事はブッフェですが、日本人の口に合う味でどの料理も安心して食べられました。
２ドリンク付きだし、価格はこんなものでしょうか。総合的にとてもよかったです。

I visited Gunstock again this year, continuing from last year. Of course, my purpose was to ride horses and enjoy the beautiful scenery, but my main goal was to meet Donkey. He is a very gentle and friendly donkey.

This year, I brought a bag of carrots as a souvenir, and he happily munched on them.

The staff at the ranch are all very kind, and it became a wonderful memory again this year.

I promised Donkey that I would definitely come back to see him, and I left with a heavy heart. On the way back, I stopped by Kahuku and Haleiwa, returning home completely satisfied and full.

If you plan to go, it might be difficult without a rental car, but the horses are well-trained and smart, so you can enjoy your time with peace of mind.

去年に引き続き、今年もガンストックに来ました。
目的はもちろん乗馬と見晴らしの良い景色なの
ですが、1番の目的はドンキーに会いに来ました。
すごく大人しくて人懐っこいロバなんです。

今年はお土産の人参を1袋持参して
ポリポリと美味しそうに食べてくれました。

こちらの牧場のスタッフさんもとても優しい
方ばかりで今年も素敵な思い出になりました。

また、必ず会いに来るねとドンキーに約束して
名残惜しさ満開で帰路につきました。
帰りにはカフク、ハレイワを回って
お腹いっぱいの大満足で帰りました。

行かれる時はレンタカーじゃないと
難しいかもしれませんが、
良く調教された賢いお馬さん達なので
安心して楽しめます。

The kayaking experience to the uninhabited island was wonderful. Paddling out into the blue ocean by my own strength felt really good. However, the distance from the place where we rented the kayak to the sea was quite long, which was pretty tough. Also, since a lot of time was spent on the pre-activity briefing, the time we had to play with the kayak was surprisingly short. The pizza for lunch was delicious.

無人島へのカヤック体験は素晴らしかった。青い大海原に自分のチカラで漕ぎ出すのはとても気分がよかった。ただ、カヤックを借りる場所から海へ運ぶ距離が長く、結構大変でした。
また、事前の説明に時間を取られるのでカヤックで遊べる時間は意外と少なかったです。
昼食はビザがおいしかった。

I participated in the morning session with three friends. Most of the other participants were Japanese as well.

On the boat, there were thorough explanations about the direction to see sea turtles and how to snorkel at the sandbar, making it a fun experience that exceeded the cost of the tour. If the timing is right, it seems the sandbar also appears above the water's surface, so I think it's worth experiencing at least once if you go to Oahu.

午前の回に友人3人と参加しました。まわりの参加者もほぼ日本人でした。
船上ではウミガメの見える方角や、サンドバーについてからのシュノーケリングの方法など、アクティビティの説明もしっかりとあり、ツアー金額以上に楽しい体験ができました。時期が合えばサンドバーも海面に顔を出しているようですし、オアフ島に行くなら一度は体験してみるのもいいと思います。

Fantastic. We were made to feel Welcome to the Beautiful Island. The presentation
was very authentic performed with passion. We really felt as if The Chief had gathered
the best of the best to reflect the special times of island life. The venue is the perfect
size and the interaction during the Meet & Greet time with games and conversation
could only be described as welcomed interaction.
Thank You for the pride of heritage and reality in which all was presented.

One of the best experiences we had during our visit and made for a very memorable 20th anniversary!

The sandbar is a very special experience. If you haven't been, I think you should go. However, your back can get really sunburned, especially with snorkeling, so I recommend wearing not just sunscreen but also a shirt that can get wet. The hamburgers you eat on the boat are also very delicious. I think it's because it's such a special experience. I highly recommend it.

Also, since the sea is deep at first at the sandbar, if you want to take photos, you need to take precautions like putting your camera in a waterproof bag. I wanted to take pictures, but I was scared of dropping it in the sea, so I regret not being able to take any.

Lastly, there is no Japanese explanation on the bus to the sandbar, so those who are not good at English might feel a bit anxious, but don't worry. Once the tour starts, there will be a Japanese guide, so you can feel at ease. At this time, you can still enjoy the night, so I think it's a good tour to make the most of your day.

サンドバーはとても特別な体験です。もし行ってない人がいれば行くといいと思います。ただシュノーケル含めて背中がものすごく焼けてしまうので日焼け止めだけでなく濡れてもいいシャツなど着て行った方がいいと思います。また船でたべるハンバーガーがとても美味しいです。特別な体験だからだと思います。とてもおすすめです。
あと、サンドバーは最初海が深いので写真を撮りたい人は防水の袋に入れるなどの対応が必要です。写真撮りたかったけど海で落とすのが怖くて写真を撮れなかったのが心残りです。
最後に行きのバスでは日本語の説明がないので英語が苦手な方は少し不安になるかもしれませんがご安心ください。ツアーが始まれば日本語のガイドも付きますので安心です。この時間だとまだまだ夜も遊べますので1日有効に使う意味でもよいツアーだと思います。

This was our second time on this tour, it's beautiful.

The first tour of the day was fully booked (due to low tide), so I joined the lunch and snorkeling package. The sandbar had water up to my knees, which was nice for a while. The snorkeling afterwards was even better than I expected, as I got to enjoy a variety of fish and even saw a sea turtle, which was amazing.

朝一番のツアーが一杯だったので（干潮時間）、ランチ、シュノーケリング付に参加。サンドバーはひざ下くらいの水でしばし鑑賞。その後のシュノーケリングは、思ったよりもいろいろな魚を楽しめ、ウミガメにも会えて最高でした。

Too many people snorkeling in the same area, the snorkeling spot was horrible, not too many tropical fish and the water was murky. Definitely not what they advertise. Bathrooms were old and dirty and the smell was pretty bad. On the other hand, sandbar was good and the staff was friendly but we would not recommend this snorkeling tour to anybody.

I was able to see dolphins and sea turtles, and the crew's performance was amazing! Occasionally, it turns into a club on the boat, haha. It seems that some people experienced seasickness, so let's make sure to take proper precautions before going! I've heard there are seasickness bands available now!

The view was amazing! The crew was very energetic, and the mood was fantastic! The hamburger for lunch was also very delicious! The guide was thoughtful and took a lot of pictures, so it became a wonderful memory even after returning!

It was a truly beautiful place. The crew was friendly, and the atmosphere was great. I thought it was just a sandbar, but I was very satisfied to be able to snorkel at the coral as well. Plus, I got to see a sea turtle. LUCKY!

本当にキレイな場所でした。クルーの人たちも気さくでとても雰囲気が良かったです。サンドバーだけかなと思っていたらサンゴのところでシュノーケリングもでき大満足です。あと、ウミガメにも会えましたよ。LUCKY！

A little background: party was my wife and I, both 30 y/o. We attended this show with the green room and dinner package. The green room and backstage tour portion of the package was underwhelming and really quite boring. One note is that we took a souvenir picture with "Michael Jackson" which was given to us as part of the package as compared to others at the show who had to pay $25 for it. The tour consisted of us, two other couples, and someone who runs the show guiding us around backstage and sharing different behind the scenes info as well as showing us other bits of the production. After that it went to the dinner portion which was held in front of the stage for the hour preceding the show. The food included lobster first course, steak and fish second with veggies and mashed potatoes, then dessert and coffee, all wrapping up before the show started. The food was quite good, especially the steak (tenderloin if I remember correctly). The show, though a little corny, was quite good overall and definitely entertaining. I did not really care for the Lady Gaga portion but the Elvis and Michael Jackson was good overall as well as the fire dancer. One plus of the package was the seating given was right by the stage which gave a small opportunity for the performers to come down and interact with us (not much but a quick appearance) which made it nice when "Elvis" gave my wife his scarf. Overall the night itself was entertaining and the food was good, making the package worth what we paid.

The sandbar was simply beautiful. During the subsequent sea turtle watching cruise, I was able to see sea turtles up close multiple times, which was amazing. If only I had an underwater camera... However, I had thought lunch would be a BBQ, but it turned out to be hamburgers grilled on the boat. Still, they were delicious. There was a Japanese staff member, so I was able to enjoy my time without any difficulties.

サンドバーは、きれいの一言でした。その後のウミガメウォッチクルーズでは、ウミガメを何度も間近で見ることができ最高でした。水中カメラがあれば…。ただ、ランチはBBQと思っていたら、船上でハンバーグを焼いたハンバーガーでした。でも美味しかったです。スタッフの方には日本の方がいたので、不自由なく、楽しく過ごせました。

I participated on the first day I arrived in Hawaii. They were inviting people to the Golden Circle seats in order of arrival, so if you want to be in the front row, it might be best to arrive early and line up. You could get food from the people at your table, but there was quite a time difference between the first person who went to the buffet and the last person. The finale of the show featured a breathtaking fire dance.

ハワイに着いた初日に参加させてもらいました。ゴールデンサークル席も、早く着いた人からどんどん席に招待してくれていたので、最前列がよければ早く行って並んでいたほうがいいかもしれません。料理は席の人から取りにいくことができたのですが、はじめにビュッフェに行った人と最後の人とでは、だいぶ時間差がありました。ショーの最後はファイヤーダンスで圧巻のダンスでした。

The snorkeling and hamburgers were amazing. The guide, who was Japanese, was very kind and attentive, making it a fun experience. I highly recommend it.
