I joined the sandbar tour about eight years ago, but this time there was no sandy area in sight at all. Being 160 cm tall, the water level was almost up to my waist. It might have been high tide, but it felt just like a regular sea.

Still, I was able to see a lot of sea turtles, which I was very satisfied with. I also felt that it would have been better if there had been an explanation of the snorkeling masks and other equipment on the boat rather than after entering the water.

I participated with my daughter. The staff members were very kind and fun people. We were able to go to places we couldn't reach on our own and met many turtles, even swimming with them! It was a wonderful tour. However... I am very prone to seasickness, and I forgot to bring motion sickness medication to the hotel (tears), so I wasted half of the tour (free time) unable to do anything. I am really disappointed about that. I truly think the tour itself, including the staff, was absolutely amazing! I plan to take revenge next time (^o^)/

マリンシューズは無くても何とかなりましたが、ワイキキビーチも結構石が痛いのでハワイ滞在全体を通して買えば良かったと思いました。

It seems that a sandy beach forms in the middle of the sea due to the tides, but when I participated, the water was already up to my waist, so I couldn't walk on the beach.

I went snorkeling to see turtles and fish in deeper areas, but I gave up halfway. I was thinking, "Oh, I wanted to see them..." when the staff called a turtle over (was it their pet? lol), and I was able to swim with the turtle in shallower water! This is a must do adventure, and well worth the price. I was impressed and pleasantly surprised at the 1-to-1 ratio of divers to BOBs in the water. They really make sure everyone is comfortable in the BOBs and are doing okay throughout the dive. The 1 hour of free time is basically during the time others are in the BOBs. They provide snorkeling equipment if you want to hop in the water during that time. We had a gray and windy day, so it was quite cool on the boat during the off time. So if your weather is not the best, consider bringing a windbreaker.

This time, we participated as a family of four with two children. My husband and I did this excursion together. He loves scuba diving, so he enjoyed it, but not as much as he does diving. I, on the other hand, get claustrophobic diving, so I LOVED this because I didn’t have to have anything touching my face/a mouthpiece. While under water, we saw tons of fish and sea turtles. In addition to scuba scootering, we got to snorkeling while we waited our turn for the scooters, so it was like two excursions in one. The staff were all great too!

We participated as a couple. Since it was an afternoon tour, the water level seemed a bit high, reaching about waist height. It was sunny and beautiful, but... We spotted turtles several times as they were being fed. The lunch was a buffet style and delicious.

It was amazing to see the beautiful white sea and the sea turtles swimming gracefully up close. It was my first time being able to see sea turtles that closely. The guide was very lively and made the experience enjoyable throughout.

I participated with two younger colleagues from my company.

When we boarded the boat, the rain had eased and we were able to enjoy the sandbar and snorkeling without any stress, which was great.

I was worried about my colleagues who couldn't get into the water or felt anxious about snorkeling, but thanks to the staff's consideration, they were transported to the sandbar on a small boat and were taken around to look for turtles, so it seems they really enjoyed the tour.

A special thanks to Jamie for the fun conversations, and to Kaz, who took a lot of photos as a sort of assistant, and to Ebizou from Hawaii, who guided us around on the boat.

The staff and the tour deserve five stars, but since the weather and the tide conditions weren't perfect, I deducted one star... Next time, I hope to aim for a tour that scores 120 points. Thank you for the truly wonderful memories.

会社の若い後輩2人と参加させて頂きました。

船に乗るときには、雨から薄日がさす状態に回復し、サンドバーとシュノーケリングがストレスなく楽しめて良かったです。

海に入れなかったり、シュノーケリングに不安を感じた後輩を心配しましたが、スタッフさんのお気遣いで、小さなボートでサンドバーに運んで下さったり、かめを探しに回って下さったりしたので、ツアーをとても楽しめたようです。

特に楽しいトークのジェイミーさん、あと、写真を沢山撮ってくださった準スタッフ？のカズさん、ボートで回って下さったハワイのエビゾウさん、ありがとうございました。

スタッフさんとツアーは5つ星ですが、天気と干潮の状態が今一歩だったので、星が1つ減りました…
次は120点のツアーを狙って参加したいと思います。
本当に素敵な思い出をありがとうございました。
