Thanks to Jamie, our savior who understands English, we were able to fully enjoy stand-up paddleboarding and snorkeling! Especially, when he asked my 14-year-old daughter if she could swim, and she replied that she wasn't very good at it, he made sure to assign a staff member to help her. She was so happy to see a turtle! On the way back, when she felt seasick, he brought her ginger ale, and after drinking it, she felt completely better, which became a great memory as well! Thanks to Jamie and the staff's thoughtful care, I was able to enjoy myself with peace of mind. It was a strange feeling to be right in the middle of the ocean. They showed us the corals and fish underwater, and even picked up a pink sea cucumber from the ocean for us to see. The SUP after scuba diving was also fun. Additionally, I was lucky enough to spot a honu five times. Their little heads popping up for air were incredibly cute. I'm grateful to the staff for providing such a wonderful experience.

After we arrived at the point, we started playing in the water, but during lunch, the tide was high, so even at a shallow point, I, being 153 cm tall, could barely touch the bottom. It's definitely important to check the tides. After playing for a while, we went snorkeling, but about half of the group stayed on the boat.

I participated in this tour for the first time in seven years. This time, I snorkeled for the first time, and I was so moved that I regretted not doing it before. I was lucky enough to encounter many fish and even saw sea turtles multiple times, which I thought would be a rare occurrence. After getting out of the water, it gets chilly, so I recommend bringing extra beach towels. There were also warm drinks available, which was very helpful. It was great that it was sunny this year after two consecutive years of cloudy weather. When it's sunny, the water is beautiful and I could see the turtles well. Unfortunately, the white sandy beach didn't appear, but I was happy to find Jamie, who took care of us last year, on the neighboring boat! At the boundary of the shallow area, beautiful fish and sea turtles were swimming nearby, making for a very enjoyable time. After that, we played on the boards, and the parents seemed to have more fun than the kids. Although I didn't go until the tide was low enough to see the sandy beach, the weather was great and the view was amazing. The fact that the staff seemed to be enjoying themselves might be the biggest reason I felt relaxed. They served popular spam musubi, snacks, miso soup, cocoa, macadamia-flavored coffee, cola, Sprite, ginger ale, and guava juice (which I love because it makes me feel like I'm in Hawaii), along with Doritos, potato chips, and apples. It's good to have light snacks like this since overeating can make you feel queasy while snorkeling. While snorkeling, I was surprised to see sea turtles on the bottom and quite large fish (maybe a yellowtail?) swimming just below me, which was a great experience. The underwater scenery might have more small and beautiful fish like in Miyako Island, but the view of the sandbar sharply divided into two colors is unique to this place, so I'm satisfied.

Second time in the tour, delay and staffing issues

This is the second time I go in this tour, since the first time was awesome!
This time the tour was delayed due to staffing issues: we didn’t have a captain and no one to take photos. The remaining of the tour was great once we got going, however the tour was cut short by 30 mins due to the initial delay, for 3 hours instead of 3.5 hours was described.

I had the best experience thanks to the kind staff. The weather was not great, with some rain, but I was able to see many sea turtles, which was amazing. Thank you! "Shaka"

- Shuttle service was on time.
- The boat was clean, and I didn't have to worry about seasickness. We had fun conversations during the ride and got to see sea turtles. The kids were even allowed to touch the steering wheel and take pictures with the captain.
- Snorkeling was safe for families with children, and we got to see sea turtles.
- During free activity time, we could freely use the SUP and floaties. We enjoyed SPAM musubi, snacks, juice, and water at that time (it was a style where we could take from the basket).
- We could go to the restroom until departure and on the way back, but it got a bit hectic when it was crowded.

It was a very enjoyable experience. It was my first time experiencing a sandbar. I checked the tide schedule and made a reservation for the tour to match the timing when the water level would be knee-deep. When we set off, the sky was very cloudy, and it started to rain as we began to move, but by the time we arrived at the sandbar, although some clouds remained, we could see blue skies. The water level was about knee-deep, which was just right for walking in the water. There were some algae floating around, but it was fun to walk through them. Although it wasn't low tide enough for the sandbar to be completely exposed, it felt nice to walk on the white sand. Additionally, I was able to try stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). Since it was my first time, I started by sitting down, but because there were hardly any waves and the water was shallow, it was easy to stand up. I didn't go snorkeling, but according to a friend who did, there were sea turtles swimming right next to them, and it was a lot of fun.

出港する時は凄い曇天で、走り出した時には雨も降ってきたのですが、サンドバーに到着した時には多少雲は残っているものの青空が見えてきました。
水位は膝下くらいで、水の中を歩くのにも適度でした。藻がプカプカ浮かんでいましたが、それをかき分けながら、歩くのも楽しかったです。
サンドバーが完全に露出するほどの干潮ではありませんが、白い砂の上を歩けるのは気も良かったです。
さらに、SUP体験もできました。SUPは初めてだったので、最初は座ってやってみましたが、波がほとんどないのと、浅い海なので立ち上がるのも簡単にできました。
シュノーケリングはやりませんでしたが、体験した友人の話では、ホヌがすぐ脇で泳いでいて、とても楽しかった、とのことでした。
