At first, I honestly thought, "Is this going to be an old-fashioned show?" and didn't have high expectations. However, once I participated, I was completely surprised in a good way. This was not just a tourist event; it was a special experience filled with the essence of Hawaii—the air, warmth, and kindness of the people.

I attended the "VIP Waikiki Luau Buffet & Show." It starts with a buffet-style dinner. Each table is set with plates, and you serve yourself. The beautifully roasted pork and roast beef are cut carefully by the chef right in front of you, creating a lively atmosphere! There’s also a wide variety of fresh salads, yakisoba, grilled chicken, and more, which made my plate overflow.

Before the meal, we were served a welcome Mai Tai. It had a tropical aroma that perfectly matched the Hawaiian atmosphere. With a Mai Tai in hand, a naturally smiling time began.

Amidst this, a local woman appeared with a ukulele. She had the vibe of a lovely neighbor rather than a staff member, and she went around to each table, delivering gentle and warm live performances. Even though it was a short time, being enveloped by her singing and the atmosphere felt like my heart was melting away.

During the meal, hula dancers performed authentic hula right in front of us. Their vibrant yet graceful movements felt like the very essence of the Hawaiian breeze. The dancers were so close that it felt easy to take photos. Additionally, the "Hula Dance Experience Time" started, allowing anyone to join in casually. Invited by the dancers, both children and adults naturally joined the circle, laughing as they experienced the hula steps. The entire venue was wrapped in a warm and cozy atmosphere.

Afterward, we walked about 30 seconds from the dining area to the main show venue. This is where "Rock-a-Hula" truly begins. On stage, impersonators of Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson appeared! Their singing and dancing were astonishingly high-quality, creating an impression of "living entertainment" that went beyond mere impersonation. Enjoying classic hits from legendary stars with the latest lighting and a powerful live band is truly a unique charm of this show.

Above all, what came through from the performers and staff was their genuine desire for the guests to have a great time. Their thoughtful attention and warm responses were felt in every moment, and before I knew it, my initial impression of "this might be old-fashioned" had completely vanished.

Rock-a-Hula is an experience that transforms a Hawaiian night into a special memory. I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't been yet; it was a time filled with smiles and happiness.

We gathered before 6 AM 😅, but our bus driver Javier and instructor Fuko were already preparing even earlier, which was a small inspiration as we started. It took about an hour to reach Waianae in the west. Since it was my first time in the west, I felt a bit anxious, but we boarded the Poseidon with Dolphin University and performed a ritual before entering the sea, then headed out to search for dolphins... At the second spot, we were fortunate to find a pod of dolphins swimming beautifully 🐬✨. When I asked Fuko, she said the water was 1,000 meters deep! I wanted to have a special experience in Hawaii, so I joined a sunset sailing tour. Although it was just a little over an hour long, it turned out to be a very memorable and enjoyable time!

We boarded the boat during daylight and were able to see the changing sky from sunset to nightfall while on the water. There were unlimited drinks and even chips provided. The original Mai Tai was incredibly delicious!

I think about 30-40% of the participants were Japanese. The crew was also very proactive in taking photos, which made for the best memories!

Had a fantastic tour around the island. We had short stops at all the places of interest. The highlight of the day was seeing turtles coming out of the water onto the beach.
It was a very full day with lots to see and great it was a small group.
It would have been great to make a stop at Haleiwa as it looked interesting but we were running out of time.

After about an hour on the bus from the meeting point, we arrived at Kualoa Ranch. Upon arrival, we gathered on the deck in front of the building entrance. The reception areas and schedules for each course were explained in English. Shortly after, our names were called, and we received a voucher detailing the activity's reception time, start time, and the return bus schedule. The reception time was strict, and they wouldn't accept us early. While shoulder bags and items hanging around the neck were not allowed, smartphones were permitted. Only still photos could be taken; videos were not allowed. However, if a GoPro was secured to the body and not held in hand, it was fine. For small personal items and water bottles, we could borrow a small bag to hang on the saddle, so anything that fit in there could be brought along.

The course offered stunning views of the ocean after passing through the forest, but I was most looking forward to the Jurassic Park filming location, which had a vast grassy valley. Unfortunately, the path to it was under maintenance, and our time was shortened by 30 minutes, resulting in a 25% refund later. My first horseback riding experience was fun, but my backside became sore, and the pain lingered for three days. (laughs) Still, it's a shame I couldn't see the valley, so I would like to try again.

集合場所からバスに揺られて約1時間でクアロアランチに到着しました。到着後、建物入口前にあるデッキに一旦集合。各コースごとの受付場所やスケジュールなどが英語で説明されます。程なくして名前が呼ばれ、アクティビティの受付時間と開始時間、帰りのバスの時間などが記されたバウチャーが手渡されました。受付時間は正確で早めに申し出ても時間にならないと受付てくれませんでした。ショルダーバックや首からぶら下げる物はダメですが、スマホは持参OKです。撮影は静止画のみで動画はダメだそうです。しかしGoProは身体に固定出来て手で持たなければ大丈夫でした。身の回りの小物やペットボトルは鞍に掛ける小物入れバックが借りれるのでそれに入る物であれば持参出来ました。
コースは林間を抜けると海が見えて来て素晴らしい景色のコースでしたが、1番楽しみにしていたジュラシックパークのロケ地で草原が広がる谷には途中の道が整備中で行く事が出来ず、時間も30分短縮されたため後から25%の返金がありました。初めての乗馬は楽しかったけどお尻が痛くなり、痛みは3日間尾を引きました。（笑）
それでも谷が見れなかったのは残念なのでまたリベンジしたいと思います。

On the day of the trip, the wind was strong and the waves were intense, so I was worried about whether we would see dolphins. However, when we actually went out to sea and arrived at the dolphin spot, we were greeted by an incredible number of dolphins, and the kids were thrilled. The dolphins were friendly and swam around the boat for a long time, which was amazing. We also had the opportunity to snorkel and see sea turtles, which was a series of emotional moments. On the second day of our arrival, I was worried about my health, but I enjoyed the great nature and delicious food of Hawaii from morning until evening. Our guide, J, drove safely and was very considerate, stopping at places not on the schedule while checking the situation, and taking photos for us at each destination. I can't thank him enough. We went directly to the North Shore without stopping and arrived early. The shop opening times varied, but we enjoyed eating acai bowls and browsing around the town as the shops opened. We had plenty of time, about five hours, to leisurely have lunch and take our time exploring the stores, making for a meaningful experience. On the way back, we also went non-stop and arrived in Waikiki in about an hour. I would love to participate again if the opportunity arises.

This was one of the best catamaran cruises I’ve been on. My husband and I had our last full day on the island and i wanted to snorkel to see the Honu . So we booked this excursion and it was the best way to end our honeymoon . The crew is amazing and so friendly . Me being and island girl and my hubby from the mainland i had to give him the best experience before we left . This did not disappoint . I can only remember Phoenix name but everyone on 5/18 1145 crew were wonderful. The sailing after the snorkeling was a great way to end the adventure . I recommend this highly . MAHALO !

I participated in May.
At 19:15, a group that enjoyed the sunset cruise returned. We boarded the ship and departed at 19:30.
We headed out to sea and anchored near Hilton, facing the Hilton.
At 19:45, the fireworks began.
I have experienced watching fireworks at Hilton Lagoon and Fort DeRussy Beach before, but this time it was the most luxurious viewing while sitting and sipping on a Mai Tai.
The fireworks ended in five minutes. After that, we headed east (toward Diamond Head) for about an hour of night sailing. We enjoyed unlimited sparkling wine, beer, and cocktails while listening to pop music.
We returned around 21:00.
The side-to-side rocking wasn't too bad, but there was some up-and-down motion when crossing the waves. I sat near the center, so I didn't get splashed much. My wife was worried about seasickness and took some motion sickness medication, but she said she didn't feel any nausea at all.
It was $80 per person; the cost-performance evaluation varies for everyone, but I enjoyed it enough.

代わって我々が乗船し19:30出航。
沖に出てヒルトン沖辺りで船首をヒルトンに向け停泊。
19:45　花火開始。
これまでヒルトンラグーンやフォートデルッシービーチで
観賞した経験があるけど今回は座ってマイタイ飲みながら
一番リッチな鑑賞。
花火は5分で終了。その後、東（ダイアモンドヘッド方向）
に向かいナイトセーリング約1時間。Popミュージックを聞き
ながらスパークリング、ビール、カクテル飲み放題。
21時ごろ帰航します。
横揺れは大したことないけど、波を越えるときの縦揺れは
多少あります。中央付近に座ったので大した飛沫は浴びな
かった。カミさんは船酔い心配して酔い止め薬を飲んだけ
ど全く酔いは感じなかったそうです。
1人＄８０、コスパ評価は人それぞれだけど私は十分楽し
めました。

This is my third time at Sandbar!
My wife and daughter were there for the first time.
The staff were friendly and communicated in Japanese, making it a very enjoyable experience.
