This was my first activity in Hawaii, but even at the scheduled time, no one came to pick me up. When I called, I was told there was no reservation and the next available time was two hours later. The parasailing itself was a lot of fun, but it messed up my plans for the rest of the day.

I wanted to share this so that others don't have to go through the same experience.

As others have mentioned, the boat does sway quite a bit, so I felt a bit nauseous. It might be a good idea to have some motion sickness medication on hand.

We also saw a huge pod of dolphins 40-60 jumping out of the water traveling out to our final destination. We felt like they were putting on a show just for us. Important to note we never felt in danger while observing the sharks in the cage. Our guides were professional and patient with the timid swimmers. It was a bucket-list check off for us. We recommend an underwater camera or waterproof pouch for your iPhone. Don’t miss these amazing moments with the sharks. We will back! We highly recommend this excursion! The pickup at 1:15 PM for the 2 PM start was slightly delayed, but they arrived at the designated location. After showing the voucher to a female staff member for confirmation, we boarded a van that could hold about ten people and set off. Upon arriving at the port, we received an explanation that we could also catch our return ride from there (we participated as a group of five, but none of us understood much English). I communicated in broken English that we didn't need a ride back since we wanted to shop at a nearby Patagonia after parasailing, and I handed her a tip (about $5 for the five of us). She kindly suggested that she would take us back after we were done. I think she was a nice person. By the way, the woman who handled the transportation didn't speak Japanese, but the male owner of the shop, whose identity is unclear, was very good at Japanese, and the check-in process went smoothly!

The parasailing was incredibly fun and enjoyable, especially with the good weather! The rope was 150 meters long, and I think the higher you go, the better it feels. When we arrived at the port, I was delighted to see a sea turtle swimming nearby. Although the tip wasn't much, they seemed happy to receive it.

In the end, one participant got seasick and didn't take the return van, but since it was nearby, it wasn't a problem at all. I'm glad I participated!

パラセーリングは天気も良く言うまでもなく最高に楽しいし、気持ちいい！150mのロープ？でしたが高いほうがより気持ちいいと思います。港に着くとウミガメが近くで泳いでいるのが見えて嬉しかったです。チップも多くはありませんが渡すと喜んでもらえました。
結局参加者の一人が船酔いで気分悪くなってしまったため帰りのワゴン車には乗らなかったけど近くなので全然問題なし。参加して良かったと思います！

The person who came to pick me up at the hotel was a Japanese man in his 70s. He shared stories about his first skydiving experience, which helped ease my nerves. After arriving at the diving location, we had to wait for about three hours due to bad weather. However, all the instructors were very kind, and it was reassuring to see everyone looking at the sky and confirming safety measures. Although it was tough to wait early in the morning, once I jumped, it was truly the best experience ever!!! I was really, really moved! You absolutely have to give it a try!

We had an absolutely fantastic time. It rained the entire day and never put a damper on any of the festivities. Our luau dinner was delicious. One of the best activities we participated in on our recent vacation to Oahu. Each of the villages not only provided us with information and a look into the culture from a variety of islands but they also provided activities for us which were fun an interesting . If I ever return to Hawaii I will go to the Polynesian Cultural Center for the full day experience including the luau.

It was unfortunately rainy, but after a while, we were able to see some clear skies. I couldn't see anything at the first and second spots, but finally at the third location, I was able to see dolphins underwater! I was also happy to see sea turtles! We could see the swimming dolphins and sea turtles from the boat as well! The guide and all the staff on the boat were kind and friendly, and they really made the experience enjoyable! They even made a dolphin ring underwater for us! The sea was beautiful, and we saw a rainbow, making for a very fun time! I want to participate again and see even more dolphins next time!

I was thrilled to see wild dolphins and turtles!

However, I got a bit carried away and went down the boat slide, which left me with whiplash, making things difficult after returning home. I realized that in my 40s, I need to be more selective about activities as my body can't keep up.

Since we swam in the sea and got our swimsuits soaked, everyone changed in public restrooms after we docked before getting on the bus. I think it's better to bring a change of clothes.

The staff were bright and fun, making it a wonderful half-day experience!

I always use Dolphin University without fail. I've never missed seeing dolphins! I've never missed meeting a turtle! This time, there was a little incident that delayed our dolphin encounter, but we were able to see plenty of dolphins in the end. I requested lessons for my 8-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter. I thought they wouldn't understand English, but they actually communicated quite well! In fact, they really tried hard! As a result, the kids came back loving their instructor!

パドルがきついので・・。

もし　子どもがやりたがったら　やらせるべき　アクティビティです！

ちなみに　イルカ、サメ、天国の海、ウェット＆ワイルドなど　いろんなアクティビティをやって　何をもう1回やりたい？って聞いたら
2人とも迷わずサーフィンだったので　最終日に　おかわりしました！

It was our first time surfing, and the kids took private lessons while my husband and I opted for semi-private lessons.

Since it was semi-private, there was one instructor for two people, and it was definitely the right choice!

Everyone was able to ride the waves, but the number of rides was different! I recommend the semi-private option because in a mixed group, there are several people. The instructors choose good waves and help push you, so the support is really great.

I truly believe that anyone from children to the elderly can stand on the board here.

Also, you can buy photos later. They also have videos, and they take them very well, so I highly recommend it!

I took a lesson for two hours starting at 3 PM.

I was a bit anxious because I'm not good at English, but the staff member, who has a Japanese wife, was fluent in Japanese, so the pre-lesson explanation in the office was completely fine.

Once we moved to the beach, the stretching and orientation were explained only in English, but I was able to understand it somewhat through gestures.

I think the actual time we got to experience surfing was around 60 to 90 minutes (it's a bit vague since I wasn't wearing a watch...).

The staff member pushed the board at just the right moment, so I was able to stand up properly!

They let me use a long board, so even though it was my first experience, I was able to stand up relatively easily.

At first, we took turns one by one, but as we got used to it, they allowed us to stand together in pairs, and I appreciated the thoughtfulness of the staff!

長いボードを使わせてくれたので、初体験でしたが割りと簡単に立つことができました。

はじめは１人ずつ順番にやりましたが、慣れてきたらペアで一緒に立たせてくれたりと、スタッフの方の気遣いが嬉しかったです！

I participated with a friend. Our group included four pairs (two from Japan and two from overseas), totaling 12 participants. The person in charge of us did not speak Japanese, and we were only given a notice written in Japanese, but as long as you read it properly, there are no issues (it includes precautions for parasailing and landing methods).

The parasailing lasted about 5 to 10 minutes each time, and I was very satisfied! Right in front of us was Diamond Head, and below was the deep blue sea; it felt like we were gracefully flying alongside airplanes. At first, the height was surprising, but it wasn't scary at all, and it felt quite relaxing. However! The real activity felt like it was on the boat, as it rocked quite a bit! The life jackets are only worn during parasailing, so if you're not holding onto the railing, you might seriously feel like you're going to be thrown off. The women in our group screamed! We took motion sickness medication, so we were fine, but four people ended up getting seasick.

I think the waiting time on the boat depends on the number of participants, and since we were facing backward to watch those parasailing, along with the wave height, it contributed to the motion sickness. The meeting place had a bus with people from various countries, but there were explanations in both English and Japanese, so it was reassuring. After arriving, we had free time until the activity, but actually, there are no personal areas to explore within Kualoa Ranch. Once you enter, there are check-in counters for each activity, and you can only wander around that area or eat. Since we had nearly two hours until the horseback riding, we were at a loss and spontaneously signed up for a movie location tour on-site (about $50). It was with a Japanese-speaking guide and very enjoyable. Fortunately, there happened to be an opening at just the right time, but otherwise, it might have been boring.

The horseback riding started suddenly after watching a Japanese video. You have to put your belongings in a paid locker, and while cameras are allowed, it's better to hang them around your neck since there are moments when both hands are needed. The horses are well-trained and move slowly, so even beginners should have time to take photos. There are some beautiful scenic spots, so definitely take advantage of that. Occasionally, a horse would stray off the path, but the guides (there were two for about ten people) would bring them back. ちなみに服装ですが、ショートパンツにサンダルでも断られず乗ってる人もいました。でも乗馬中は日差しがダイレクトなので、膝とかすごく焼けると思います。あと鐙を操作するので、やはりつま先と踵がしっかりカバーされた靴が良いと思いますのでVELTRAさんの注意事項は適切だとおもいました。

There were four groups including us, and everyone except us was from abroad, but the atmosphere on the boat was really nice! There were two foreign staff members who spoke only basic Japanese, giving instructions and asking if we were having fun, but they were very cheerful! I didn't get seasick, but if you're worried about seasickness, it might be a good idea to bring some motion sickness medication!

Parasailing was a bit scary, but it felt amazing, and it was so much fun to see everything from up high!!! They checked with us about taking photos when it was our turn, and they were also filming with a GoPro. I saw that the group before me had some great shots, so I decided to purchase the photos they took of us! This also became a wonderful memory!

I'm really glad we chose to go up to 150 meters! If I come back to Hawaii, I definitely want to go parasailing again!

My friend and I did this together when she was in town visiting along with the UTV tour and we had so much fun! You get to see some amazing views flying through and the tour guides were so funny and made everyone feel very comfortable. They also have cameras set up that captured some really good pictures as well. My friend also took her phone with her in a waterproof pouch that you wear on your neck so we got some cool pictures that way too. I would definitely recommend and if you haven't ziplined before this is a really pretty place to try it!

This was so much fun, I would definitely recommend the 2 hour tour! We had plenty of time to stop at several of the movie film stops and take pictures. Our guide Tyler was so funny and helpful and really gave us a great tour. The ranch is so beautiful and you get to see so much on this tour!

My friend and I went on this together and it was the first time for both of us on a submarine! It was really neat getting to see the airplane and ships that were down there as well as getting the chance to see about 4 sea turtles and even a small shark! The crew was very nice and professional and we had a great time.

The morning of the tour that I had been looking forward to so much!
To my surprise, there was unusually heavy rain around Waikiki for this time of year! As I waited for the shuttle, the bus arrived.

In the rain, the bus headed to Kaneohe Bay. On the way, the rain gradually turned into a light drizzle. (The bus seat heater is warm, so if it gets too hot, it's a good idea to let the driver know! lol)

Upon arriving at the port, a female guide entered the bus. Jamie, who speaks fluent Japanese, provided explanations that were both appropriate and super interesting! As my worries about the light rain and what would happen with the boat faded away, the weather also seemed to clear up!

We listened to an explanation of the day's schedule on the boat, and it felt like a comedy show, with everyone smiling. In about 10 minutes, we arrived at the heavenly sea sandbar! At first, everyone got off the boat to float around and walk in the beautiful sea.

Before long, we split into snorkeling and stand-up paddleboarding groups, and off we went for snorkeling!!

There were so many fish! While spotting a coral wall on the right side, I could see a sea turtle right below me without needing to squint! I was so excited! (Everyone wanted to see it, causing a bit of a traffic jam while floating. Be careful not to kick anyone nearby, so we can move smoothly!)

As we moved a little further, surprisingly, a sea turtle started to float towards us!! I interpreted it as saying "Hello!" and my excitement peaked again!

もの凄く楽しみにしていたツアー当日の朝！
なんとワイキキ周辺は時期的には珍しい大雨！
「ツアー中止かなぁ…」と送迎を待っていると、バスのお迎えが。

雨の中、バスはカネオヘ湾へ。向かう途中から徐々に小雨になってきました。（バスのシートヒーターが温かいので、暑くなってきたら、運転手さんに言った方がよいですよ！w）

港に着き、ガイドの女性が案内でバスの中に。日本語がペラペラのジェイミーさん。また、この方の説明が適切かつ超面白い♫小雨の不安や、これから船はどうなるのかなんて不安が吹っ切れると同時に空模様もモヤモヤが吹っ切れたように回復！！

船上で1日の流れの説明を聞くのですが、すでに漫談状態で、皆んなニコニコ。10分程度で天国の海サンドバーへ到着！初めは、みんな船から降りてプカプカ浮いたり、綺麗な海を歩いたり。

程なくして、シュノーケリングと、サップ組に別れ、いざシュノーケリングに！！

お魚沢山いるーーー！右側にサンゴの壁を見つつ、良く目を凝らす必要も無いくらいにウミガメが真下に！テンションMAX状態です。（皆んな見たくてプカプカ浮いた状態の渋滞が起きますw近くに人がいると軽く蹴られたりするのでスムーズに進みましょうw）

また少し進むと、な、なんとウミガメさんから私達の方にプカァ〜と向かってくるではないですか！！「コンニチワ〜」って言ってくれたと勝手に解釈でまたもテンションMAX！

シュノーケリングも往復10分位で、スタッフの方々がしっかりとガードしてくれているので、「泳げないし、怖いかも…」程度の方は是非挑戦した方が良いですよ！

シュノーケリングの後は食事タイム。あらま、これがまた美味しかったです！食べ物飲み物、デザート色々あり大満足。お腹いっぱいの後は自由行動。

ホテル出発前の不安から、行って良かった、また必ず行きたい！と思わせてくれたツアーでした！
