Skydiving was my husband's dream. As someone who is not fond of heights, I initially had no intention of participating. However, I thought that if I didn't jump with my husband, I probably would never jump alone in my life, so after much hesitation, I signed up. If you have even a slight interest, I highly recommend giving it a try.

I chose a package that included video and photos, but the content varies depending on the cameraman. My husband's cameraman and instructor were fantastic, and the photos and videos turned out really well.

It's better to have some English skills, but you can manage with gestures (my husband can speak a little, but my level is below that of a modern elementary school student). They don't provide insurance, so I made sure to get skydiving insurance before leaving Japan, just in case.

After taking a shuttle bus from Waikiki for about 50 minutes, we arrived at Kualoa Ranch. Once everyone got off the bus, there was an announcement saying, "If you would like to hear the explanation in Japanese, please follow the Japanese staff." While we were sitting with the rest of the group, others were being called by name and receiving their tickets and schedules, but we were not called... In the end, our tickets were with the Japanese staff, and there was a bit of a delay there. It would have been clearer if they had said, "Those with Japanese names, please go over there."

Thanks to our cheerful driver guide, we enjoyed visiting filming locations from Jurassic World and LOST, but just before the afternoon Ocean Voyage Tour, there was a sudden downpour! Everyone else had ponchos and umbrellas ready, but we were left unprotected and got completely soaked from head to toe. There was a poncho vending machine at the meeting point... I should have bought one without hesitation. Well, it's a good memory now.

明るいドライバーガイドさんのお陰でジュラシック・ワールド、LOSTなどの撮影場所を楽しく見学、まではよかったのですが、午後オーシャンボヤージツアー直前に突然の大雨！！皆さんポンチョや傘などを用意されていましたが、私たちだけ無防備で頭から足まで全身びしょ濡れになりました。集合場所にポンチョ自販機があったのに・・・迷わず買っておくべきでした。ま、いまではいい思い出です。

This experience became the most memorable one in Hawaii. The sandbar made me feel like I was in another world, and seeing the sea turtles was amazing. The hamburgers we had on the boat were the best.

Snorkeling is safe even for those who are not good swimmers. I was considering skipping it before going, but in the end, I joined in, and my parents, who are over 60, also participated. My elementary school-aged children went snorkeling for the first time, and they enjoyed it so much that they wanted me to buy them masks, which I did that day, and they even wore them to swim in the hotel pool.

I brought my 1-year-old baby, and I wish I had taken an umbrella. Even with sunscreen, you can still get quite sunburned. I think it's better for those with small children to have some kind of sun protection. The staff were friendly and great at chatting.

サンドバーは異世界に来た気分になり、ウミガメも観れて、船上で食べるハンバーガーは最高でした。

1才の赤ちゃんを連れて行ったのですが、日傘を持って行けば良かったと思いました。
日焼け止めを塗って行ってもかなり焼けます。
小さいお子様連れの方は何か対策があった方がいいと思います。
スタッフの方も気さくでお話し上手でした。

You can enjoy snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, and kayaking!

For snorkeling, you can go near the coral reefs and observe the fish! The water is clear, so you can see well! I thought there would only be small fish, but there were also large fish and eels. However, be really careful as there are stones and coral fragments on the bottom, and the coral is spiky, which can easily cut your feet.

You can also do stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking, but there are limited numbers available, so you can't go until someone returns one. I wish they had a few more stand-up paddleboards available.

By the way, there are light snacks (only donuts), but I didn't have an appetite before playing, and when I went to get some afterward, they were all gone. It's a shame they didn't prepare enough.

I wrapped up my last night in Hawaii by going here!

I signed up for the VIP course! With VIP, you get early guidance and other perks, which makes you feel like you're getting a good deal!

It's a buffet, and around the time we finished eating, they performed hula in the central aisle of the venue. However, it started to rain in the evening, and since some of the VIP seats had no roof, we had to move. The new spot had a pillar right next to it and was further back, so we couldn't see the hula at all. In fact, the general guests had a better view.

The food was delicious, but it wasn't extravagant enough to feel like it couldn't be enjoyed elsewhere.

The show venue was quite cold, so be careful. The show featured not only beautiful hula but also fire dancing, and Michael made an appearance, which was really exciting. Unfortunately, Elvis was off that day.

Also, it was mentioned that there would be a meet and greet after the show, but there was nothing, so we left.

At the show venue, I was seated in the second row from the center for VIPs, allowing me to experience an impressive performance that is rarely seen in Japan. There were about half Japanese attendees overall, and I was able to exchange information in a friendly manner with an elderly Japanese couple seated across from me.

This was our first trip to Hawaii as a couple. We searched for delicious food and hula shows and participated in the Rock-a-Hula event. After gathering in the evening, we enjoyed hula dance performances, live Hawaiian music, and hula dance workshops without getting bored.

The buffet-style meals were all delicious, and the whole roasted pig was even more tender and tasty than the roast beef. The fresh pineapple was also delicious.

The post-dinner show was enjoyable, as it introduced the history of Hawaii and hula dance along with the dances of that time. Being able to enjoy an entertainment show that combined hula and rock from the front row was truly a wonderful memory.

I traveled to Kualoa Ranch by shared sightseeing bus. Since there were many Japanese people, I felt at ease, but I was a bit anxious because the explanations were in English. For the horseback riding experience, there was a staff member who understood a little Japanese, and the video lecture was in Japanese, which was helpful.

Finally, it was time for horseback riding, but the horse I rode was quite stubborn, and we had some trouble starting. However, I was able to enjoy the two-hour ride. The view of the mountains and the sea from the saddle was breathtaking. Unfortunately, it was cloudy, and I felt a bit disappointed thinking about how wonderful it would have been if the weather had been nice. Also, backpacks were not allowed, so I had to put mine in a paid locker, but I wanted to keep my valuables with me. It would be good to have a slightly larger waist pouch.

I recently went Oahu North Shore Beach Horseback Riding Experience - Daytime Tours / Standard Daytime Horseback Rides and unfortunately, it was not well organized. The whole experience seemed uncoordinated, and the pictures taken were unusable due to the way we were positioned.

I gave them 3 stars mainly because the two ladies we interacted with were nice enough, and the horses were well-behaved. However, the walk itself was not very scenic, and overall, it was a disappointing experience. I wouldn't do it again.

It's fun, but it really smells like harnesses! If you're debating between a buggy and a zipline, I might recommend the zipline. It feels like you're sliding in a well-maintained environment, so there's less thrill, but on the flip side, the safety is excellent, making it great for first-timers on a zipline. There are places to drink water along the way, so you don't need to bring any with you.

バギーと悩んだらバギー推しかもです。
結構整えられた環境で滑る感じでスリルは少ないですが、逆にいうと安全性が素晴らしいので初めてのジップラインの方とかにおすすめです。

The pickup at the hotel was painless. The trip there was good. When we arrived we were greeted and they made sure we knew where to do, and answered all of our silly questions. The people at the ranch were awesome. Racheal our tour driver was awesome. She was funny, entertaining, and she knew all kind of fun movie location info. We watched 50 First Dates when we got back to the hotel and got to see a lot of the locations used. We did the bus tour and the cruise with the buffet. The food was great, and they honestly didn't care how much you ate. They had cookies and lemon bars for a quick dessert. Their on site restaurant had amazing looking burgers, will need to try if we ever go back. We also tried to the local chocolate bars with coffee beans and the banana bread. It was a bit pricey but we devoured all of it. The ride back to hotel was comfortable. Using Veltra was an awesome way to do the trip, to have nothing to worry about except where to show up, was excellent. We even used them to book our Luao after our trip because of how well they took care of us.

This time, there were more Japanese participants, so the explanations were shorter, but they took a lot of photos for us. My friends who joined me also really liked the four-wheeler and didn't want to switch the steering wheel (laughs). Whether it's sunny or rainy, I recommend wearing clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting dirty, as they will protect you from dust and rain, so bringing a raincoat is advisable. While sightseeing and shopping are great when visiting Hawaii, I think beach yoga will become a must-do in the future. The cruise and the breathtaking views from above were amazing! The weather was nice and the waves were calm, but motion sickness medication is a must! I brought my GoPro, but when I was asked if I wanted to take pictures on the boat, it cost $40, and it was worth it. During our time, 3 out of 4 groups ended up buying it! You can check the photos after getting off the boat before making your final decision. They also provide the data on an SD card and your smartphone, so not buying it would be a waste!
