My first experience at Chief’s Luau 9 months ago was great, so when my family decided on attending a luau during this trip to Oahu, I thought Chief’s Luau would be a great choice. With pure luck, we were sat at the same table as the last time and it was front and center seating. Any closer, our eyebrows probably would of burned off by the fire show. In addition to the great seating, we loved Chief’s jokes, the dancers all performed amazingly, and the staff were all really nice. I would definitely recommend to others.

I attended with my spouse, daughter, and grandchild. The class was a buffet. On the day of the event, the sea was rough, and my daughter got seasick, so she had to sit out. The free drink service was incredibly slow, and since I ordered a paid drink, it was relatively quick for me. However, the family sitting with us had to wait for their free drinks, which made me feel a bit guilty and uncomfortable. At the very least, they could have offered some water... that kind of consideration is not common overseas.

I was fine with not having a window seat. Even if you have a window seat, there’s an aisle, and there were people standing there to look at the view, so it’s not worth paying extra to secure one.

Despite having so many people, there was only one shared restroom, and it was extremely dirty.

This was a lovely experience. The jazz singer was incredibly fun and talented. The food was excellent. The servers (Collin and Rob) were incredibly kind and attentive. The sunset was stunning. Finally, the Polynesian show was lovely and a great way to end the night. I would come again.

サンセットを逃さないちょうど良い時間、完璧なタイミングで運ばれてくるお料理、楽しいショータイム、このお値段で盛りだくさんの納得の内容でした。
特にカニが美味しかったですし、全体の量も十分でした。
デッキからはワイキキの夕景や空港から飛び立つ飛行機が見えてとても綺麗です。
ただ、満席だった場合は隣の人と肩や肘がぶつかるくらいの距離感で仕切りのアクリル板などは無いので、そういうのが気になる方はご注意を。

It was a wonderful experience, as we were lucky enough to see a beautiful sunset and whales, and also enjoyed the full moon and fireworks from Hilton. The meal included two drinks, but since it was crowded and the waiter seemed busy, I ended up not receiving the second drink even after requesting it.

Extremely interesting and comfortable, Lunch at McGarretts was fantastic! The cast member we met, Shawn Mokuahi Garnett, was very generous with his time and patience, posing for photos many times with group members and answering questions. The van picked us up on time right in front of our hotel, we saw and heard a lot of history not just from the show but from the area in general. Thank you to everyone for making our day so special.

The all-you-can-eat menu was plentiful and satisfying.
The night view of Waikiki from the boat and the sunset are very beautiful.
It sways a bit, so I think it's better for children to take motion sickness medication. I saw some adults around me feeling seasick as well.

I used this for our Christmas dinner. A senior colleague from work had a great experience here during their honeymoon, so I decided to create some memories. I requested a seat with an ocean view and chose the Three Star (Lobster & Steak) menu. I knew in advance that we could have a commemorative photo taken, so my husband and I wore matching aloha shirts when we boarded!

The result was absolutely satisfying! The food, the view, and the music were all wonderful, allowing us to completely forget about work and enjoy the best time. I am truly grateful to the waiter who brought us so many dishes, the dancers who performed, and the chef who came to greet us.

クリスマスディナーとして利用しました。職場の先輩がハネムーン旅行時に利用してよかったとのことだったので、思い出作りに利用しました。席は海が見える席を指定し、スリースター(ロブスター&ステーキ)のメニューにしました。事前に記念の写真を撮ってもらえることがわかっていたので、旦那さんとお揃いのアロハシャツを着て乗船しました！

What a great & wonderful experience. This was our first time to do this type of event and we were blown away. Staff and crew were so professional and courteous! My expectations were definitely exceeded! I will return to the Star of Honolulu and next time we are bringing my daughter and her boyfriend. Food was prepared and cooked to perfection! Although I wasn't expecting much from the meal, the food was served warm, and the lobster was thick and delicious. The table was indeed a bit cramped, but it was manageable. The show was also very enjoyable and great. The countdown fireworks were a spectacular sight. The taxi and Uber rides back were surprisingly expensive, costing $60 to Waikiki, so I recommend selecting a shuttle plan.

It was the night of the Honolulu Marathon, so it wasn't fully booked, and we were able to relax comfortably.

It's quite a large ship, so I thought it was understandable that the service was a bit rough around the edges. However, the fun atmosphere is something that everyone, including the guests, creates together, and in the end, we really enjoyed ourselves with the dancing. The YMCA and Hawaiian dance were the best.

The sunset and the night view afterward were indescribably beautiful, and I'm glad I booked this tour for Christmas.

I chose the lobster course. At our table of six, three of us were seated with an Italian family. They were such a lovely family, so we had a great time dining together. The cheese and fruits were arranged on the deck, but there was no explanation, so I wasn't quite sure about them. The food and drinks were delicious, and we were able to enjoy the show at a leisurely pace. When everyone danced at the end, it was truly fun, and we were all smiling the whole time.

P.S. We also got to see the whale's spout and tail!

とても素敵な家族だったので、楽しくお食事ができました。チーズとフルーツがデッキの方に並んでいて、説明が無かったので、よく分かりませんでした。食事もドリンクもおいしく、ショーもゆっくり見れました。

At the dockside check-in they were very helpful. I just showed my confirmation email and she gave us out boarding passes. The dockside hula show was good. They had 2 musicians playing and 3 dancers, it wasn't Cirque Du Soleil but if thats what your expecting go to Las Vegas!!

I loved the meal. The purple bread (made with Ube) was good, it tasted like the Kings Hawaiian Rolls! The steaks are cooked medium rare, which I enjoy but was too under cooked for my wife. Even since she didnt eat her steak she still was full with the Crab and Chicken. The ice cream was delicious. The Mai Tai's were on point.

Our server was perfect. Very attentive to our needs, conversational without being annoying. Extremely gracious and appreciative.
