The catamaran was lovely great staff. The catamaran was clean and nice. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. We were thrilled to swim with tons of turtles in the beautiful waters. Success! Highly recommend.

The Manu Kai Waikiki Snorkel with Turtles Cruise was all it promised to be. The crew was professional and very helpful. We were treated to a nice boat ride to Turtle Canyon and once in the water we saw several sea turtles calmly swimming along as smaller fish cleaned their shells and fins. There were several species of fish swimming in small schools that we could photograph as well.
The crew was very helpful and taught a basic course in snorkeling that enabled everyone to enjoy the experience to the fullest.
The boat itself is well maintained, clean, and provided a restroom for passengers.
The beverages were served cold (after the snorkel to avoid any intoxication issues while swimming.)
I would recommend this cruise to anyone interested in seeing the majesty of Hawaii's underwater environment and thrill seekers who love ocean adventures. The crew promised turtles and we were treated to a promise fulfilled.

Family trip to have a wake for my father who just passed. The crew was fun and amazing. They even played a terrible Clancy Brothers song in his honor. The whole boat went silent (the Clancy Brothers are that bad). Thanks for the memories!

The crew aboard the catamaran was terrific, fun and entertaining! We would recommend experiencing this snorkel excursion in the morning, as the fish and turtles seemed to be more active earlier in the day. We had snorkeled in the same vicinity a couple of days before in the afternoon, and the sea creatures seemed to be less active then.

Crew and the Boat were great! The activity however was very crowded with many boats and other people, I guess that is to be expected! But I want to emphasize that the boat and crew were Top notch!!! Thank you Moana!!!

Well what can I say? The team was kind and answered any and all questions we had. We were promised sea turtles and we got just that. Getting to swim atleast 1.5meters away from the turtles as the came to the surface multiple times. Being able to observe multiple sea turtles swimming around the depths and the various fish of the reef. To wrap up an already amazing and special experience, we also got a lengthy surprise visit from a family of dolphins swimming up close and personal to the catamaran as we headed back to the harbour. Like I said, what can I say?! Definitely recommended to all who are interested. 5/5

Turtles!!!!! We had a ton of fun, staff was awesome and super helpful.

- Best part: spotted a whale close to our boat on our way to Turtle Canyon; seen turtles and lots of fish during the snorkeling session
- The current was a little strong in the afternoon but still worth the trip

The staff was very friendly. We did see multiple turtles & fish. We were taken to a small area with 5 other boats so swimming in the water was like walking through Disneyland. People were kept in a very small area. They said 60 mins of swimming but it felt closer to 45 mins, maybe. If you want to see coral and explore freely, this is not the tour for you. If you want to see some turtles and fish this is a nice starting point. They offer 3 alcoholic beverages which are impossible to drink on the short return home and none are permitted prior to snorkelling. We only got this one b/c others were sold out, but if you really want those beverages be prepared to drink fast ;-). I wouldn't do this one again.

The crew was amazing! They did the utmost to ensure that we saw everything we could on our trip. And although we weren’t late, I saw the captain calling other groups that were, to check on them which I thought was really cool. They really did a great job to take care of our safety and enjoyment! Thanks again!

The boat was clean and the staff were friendly. We saw lots of fish and turtles. We only snorkeled for maybe 30 minutes before it was time to head back. I wish it was a little longer. Also they don’t have snorkles for people with glasses so keep in mind you may need contacts.

We had a great time. We saw so many dolphins swimming around the boat. I only saw one turtle but had a great time anyway!

It was super windy when we went out but we actually ended up getting a private boat ride since none of the other couples showed up. The crewmembers were incredible and more than accommodating with all of our needs and with my pregnant wife. I would highly recommend choosing to go on the Moana catamaran and we are planning on going back next time we visit Hawaii!

The staff were really nice and the boat ride was cool. It was only 10 minute ride out to the snorkel spot and the drinks are served after the snorkeling, so there wasn't time to have advertised 3 drinks (which is fine, but jut something you should be aware of). The location itself does have sea turtles but the water is fairly deeps and the overall experience (as far as what one would expect) is pretty lack luster. Another tour operator was in the same location and they had a guide pointing out fish, turtles, etc. to ensure everyone got the opportunity to see the marine life, but this tour did not. Also, if you have your own PFD, bring it! My first PFD didn't hold air (a fun surprise) and the second one was at least 1/2 deflated by the time I got out. All in all, it was an okay time but I wouldn't do it again.

I’m glad I did my research in looking for the best turtle and snorkel cruise because this company surpassed my expectations!! The employees were outstanding, wonderful lunch provided and a couple drinks to top it off. We saw turtles, eels, flying fish, and other tropical fish!! Then they took us out farther to find whales after lunch and we did get a few glimpses of some whales:) fun was had by all!!! Thank you !!!!

We had a great time snorkelling with turtles with Mana Kai Catamaran, we saw around 6 of them! Friendly crew, easy to check in and find the boat. Recommended experience.

I was a little hesitant when I initially booked this, just because of the price. But, WOW I was wrong. Such a great experience, the boys on the boat were great to work with and knowledgeable. Drinks were great and just what you want after swimming in the ocean. Would 100% recommend. Thanks for a great time!

What a great experience! Our group had two people in their thirties and two in their sixties and everyone had a blast. We saw so many turtles, a few schools of fish and some other unique fish around. Great tour for those wanting to try snorkeling. The staff was amazing too! Although we didn't have kids in our group, the staff was interacting great with those family groups aboard with us.

Living ocean tours is a great family business that created a great experience for our group of first time snorkelers. The 5 person crew was friendly, knowledgeable and helped us have a fun and safe trip on the water. We were able to see multiple turtles including one that came up about 10 feet away from us. Also, plenty of fish to see in between turtle sightings. Plus we got to see a pod of dolphins when we first arrived at the reef.

Loved this tour last summer will be booking again however the price has increased dramatically.

All that was promised was not fulfilled on this snorkel tour. The staff was nice. I got a little sea sick and they took care of me. But the experience was nothing like what they promised. It was a party boat not a snorkel tour. I would not recommend to any families.

This experience was amazing.The pick up location was super easy to find. Staff were so funny and friendly. We got out in the water and the staff swam with us to lead us to the turtles. We saw so many sea turtles. I definitely recommend doing this at least once in your lifetime.I'd love to do this again on my next trip to Oahu!

This was a fantastic experience! Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable crew. I appreciated the brief snorkel lesson and tips. We were able to see turtles, a variety of fish, and during the sailing portion dolphins and whales. Overall great experience with no complaints! Would recommend to others and will remember them on my next trip!

Love, love, LOVE this boat! It's a beach catamaran so no transportation is needed. Plus, they provide you with FINS that are super comfy and adjustable. After snorkeling, you get some snacks and can purchase drinks on board. We got the souvenir Holokai shaker to keep. We did the 9am cruise which was perfect for visibility and to catch a little bit of sun before it got too hot in the afternoon. Would recommend!

With this cruise, we were provided with snorkels and snorkel vests. However, no fins are included. I'd recommend finding some fin rentals as it can be pretty exhausting to snorkel without them. Saw lots of turtles and fish! This catamaran is also a beach catamaran so the boat comes right up on the sand. It's right across from Duke's Statue (not to be confused with Duke's Waikiki restaurant). If you'd like a short activity in Waikiki to get out on the water, this is perfect! We did the AM cruise and visibility was perfect.
