Even with guaranteed front-row seats, guests are seated in order from the front according to a U-shaped arrangement, so it doesn't necessarily mean you'll be sitting in the front row directly facing the stage. However, during the show, the dancers perform facing all directions, so you can still enjoy it thoroughly. I entered about 30 minutes after the doors opened, and although I wasn't in the front area, I was able to sit about three seats from the front in the side area.

Upon entry, they place a flower lei around your neck. The meal is served buffet-style, allowing you to take everything from the main dishes to salads and desserts at once. The staff will come around to ask if you need more drinks. It was a bit disappointing that poi was not on the menu. The entire show is in English. There was a brief moment when it rained, which made me anxious, but it cleared up afterward, so I was lucky. Since it's on the rooftop, it's wise to be prepared for weather changes. I think it's a show worth seeing at least once.

The fireworks lasted about 10 minutes, and after that, we were just on the boat looking at the dark sea. It might have been nice if we could enjoy the coastline and the sunset, but I can't recommend a cruise after sunset. My mother even said, "What was that thing yesterday?" which made me feel really bad since I was the one who arranged it (^^;;).

Aside from us, there was only one Japanese family, and everyone else was from overseas. I usually find optional tours filled with Japanese people to be less enjoyable, but here, I was able to have a great time drinking while watching a beautiful sunset with people from other countries. I was so satisfied with the tour that I think I would like to use it again the next time I come to Hawaii.

We saw some flying fish, great views of Diamond Head and Waikiki, the staff was easy going and fun. We all wished the boat was closer to the water like some sailboats and under full sail and not motoring. All in all a good value.

This is my second time participating. I signed up early for this popular tour because I couldn't join last time due to it being fully booked. As expected, it was a fun cruise with a stunning sunset. There were a few Japanese passengers on board, but the atmosphere was bright and lively thanks to the Western guests. Seeing Diamond Head illuminated by the sunset from the sea is a rare experience, so I believe it's worth it. I tend to get seasick, but despite the waves, I was able to enjoy the cruise without feeling unwell. I would love to participate again.

By the way, there were only my family and a couple of friends who are Japanese; there were no small children.

My wife and I were stoked when the boat beached onto shore. It was funny initially watching folks coming off the last ride bc the waves rocked the boat and splashed onto them. But it's expected, it was fun nonetheless. We did the Fireworks ride and it was just AWESOME!!! To watch it from the ocean is definitely something everyone should experience. We'd totally do it again!

During my 7-day stay in Hawaii, I arranged various optional tours, but the sunset dinner cruise was the most memorable. The boat is a slightly larger catamaran yacht, so there was hardly any rocking, allowing us to enjoy the sunset in a calm atmosphere. In Hawaii, there are many Japanese tourists everywhere, and while there are tours with a 100% participation rate of Japanese people, this tour had a lower percentage of Japanese guests, which made it enjoyable to converse with multilingual tourists in English.

However, there are a couple of downsides:
1. Although it's called a buffet, it's not an all-you-can-eat experience. For example, there are restrictions like "two pieces per person." It means you can eat what you like, but only in specified quantities. Japanese people might associate buffet with all-you-can-eat, so this is something to be aware of.
2. At the check-in counter, Westerners were allowed to check in before the designated time, while Japanese guests were told to "wait until the time," which felt discriminatory. After persistent negotiation, I was finally allowed to check in, but for Japanese guests with limited English skills, they might end up feeling helpless. Since boarding is done in the order of check-in, securing your spot is very important.

難点は、
①ビュフェとありますが、いわゆる食べ放題ではありません。たとえば「これは一人二個まで」などの制限があります。「好きなものを決まった分量まで食べてよいですよ」という意味です。日本人はビュフェ＝食べ放題というイメージでしょうから注意が必要です。
②チェックインカウンターでは、西洋人はチェックイン開始時間前に受付していながら、日本人は「時間までまて」と差別を受けました。しつこく交渉してやっと受付てもらえましたが、英語力のない日本人だと泣き寝入りでしょう。受付順に乗船して席を確保しますので、受付順は非常に重要です。

I made a reservation because I wanted to see an American show in Hawaii for the first time. First, I received a welcome drink and relaxed for a while before moving to the front row on the first floor to enjoy dinner. For dinner, I savored delicious American food, including steak. After dinner, I watched the show from the VIP seats, which allowed me to see the powerful hula and fire dances up close. The fireworks display every Friday in Waikiki was incredibly beautiful, and we were able to see it from the ocean! It was great that drinks were unlimited as well. However, unlike other optional tours, there were mostly foreigners, and the guide didn't speak much Japanese. Since it can be quite windy, I recommend bringing a light jacket. Also, when getting on the boat, you go barefoot and your toes can get wet, so sandals are a good choice.

ワイキキで毎週金曜に打ち上げ花火があがり、それを海の上から見ることができたのはすごく綺麗でした！飲み物も生放題なのも良かったです。しかし、他のオプショナルツアーと違い外国人がほとんどで、案内の方もあまり日本語が通じなかったです。なかなか風があるので、一枚羽織るのをお勧めします。あと、船に乗るときに裸足になり、つま先が濡れるので、サンダルがいいです。
