I participated on September 28. The hotel pickup was about 15 minutes late, and I was contemplating whether to call for inquiries when a large bus arrived. We were the last pickup. However, it was reassuring that the pickup location and the contact number for inquiries in case of delays over 10 minutes were clearly stated at the time of booking. There were only two of us Japanese; the rest were from Australia and the United States. The guide on the bus spoke Japanese, which was helpful.

The seating on the boat was basically free. There were round tables for six. Since the boat was spacious and the tables were large, we could enjoy our meals without worrying about the people next to us. It was a buffet style, and there was plenty of food, which was satisfying. The pineapple among the fruits was particularly delicious, and I ate quite a bit of it.

We could move freely between the second and third floors, so I went to the front to take pictures of Diamond Head while it was still light. Then I went to the back of the boat to watch the sunset. Finally, it was time for the fireworks. The display lasted about five minutes, but it was a satisfying fireworks experience. The weather was good, and there were no waves, making it a comfortable viewing of the fireworks from the boat. The weather and waves depend on luck, so all we can do is pray for good conditions.

９月２８日の参加です。ホテルピックアップが約１５分遅れ、問い合わせの電話をしようかと迷っていたところへ大型バスが到着。私たちが最後のピックアップでした。ただ申し込み時に、ピックアップの場所と１０分以上遅れた場合の問い合わせ先も明記してあったので安心でした、、、。日本人は私たち２人だけ。あとはオーストラリア、アメリカから。バスに添乗していたガイドさんが日本語の話せる方でしたので、助かりました。船の席は基本自由。６人掛けの丸テーブル。広い船内と広いテーブルでしたので、隣の方を気にすることなく食事ができました。バイキング形式でしたが、量もふんだんにあり、満足でした。フルーツではパイナップルがとても美味しかったのが印象的でした、、、かなり食べました、、、。
２階３階へは移動が自由でしたので、明るいうちにダイヤモンドヘッドを写真に収めるため先頭へ。夕日を観るため船尾へ。そして花火の時間。打ち上げは５分ほどでしたが満足の花火観賞でした。お天気が良く波もなかったので快適な船からの花火観賞でした。お天気と波は運次第ですね。祈るしかありません。

After gathering at 16:30 and completing the procedures, you can spend time at the beach or inside the Outrigger, and then move to the boat at 16:45. You will be asked to take off your shoes, so I recommend wearing sandals that are easy to remove! Inside the boat, you will be barefoot. Since it’s a cruise where alcohol is served, I brought my passport for age verification, but I wasn't asked to show it. Depending on the wave conditions (it wasn't enough to make me seasick), the boat can sway quite a bit, so it’s better not to bring valuables if you plan to place your bags or belongings on the shelves inside the boat. There are benches where you can sit. All announcements are in English, but they will show you a Japanese instruction manual. (It seems to be shared with the day cruise, so the pricing explanation is slightly different.) The return is scheduled for 18:30, but on the day I participated, we returned to the beach at 18:45. There seems to be a restroom available, but I didn't use it, so I can't provide details.

Drinks included cocktails, champagne, wine, beer, and possibly Sprite and cola. Be careful not to spill since it can sway! Everyone was enjoying themselves, drinking and taking in the scenery. You can watch the sunset until the sun goes down, but be cautious with your hat as the sea breeze can be strong!

ドリンクはカクテルにシャンパン、ワイン、ビール、スプライトやコーラなどもあったようです。揺れるのでこぼさないように注意です！皆さんお酒を飲んだり景色を眺めたり思い思いに過ごされていて楽しめます♪サンセットも日が沈むまでずっと眺めていられましたが、海風が強いので帽子は飛ばされないようにご注意を！

I booked this trip based on the great reviews for a two-person journey with my mother, who loves cruising and sailing! We arrived a bit late and caused some inconvenience, but everyone was so kind and welcoming, which I really appreciated. The view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the beautiful sea created the best memories. Since the boat sways quite a bit, I recommend taking motion sickness medication for those who are worried about getting seasick! If I get the chance to go to Hawaii again, I would definitely want to participate again! 😊

I booked this for the fireworks, but the sunset was amazing, and the fireworks were fantastic as well. The view from the sea was unobstructed, with Diamond Head shining in the sunset and the hotels in the background, making it a spectacular sight. It was a tour I would love to join again.

Unfortunately, the sunset was obscured by thick clouds, but sailing while enjoying drinks with the cheerful staff was very pleasant! When night fell, we were able to see a big full moon, so I think it turned out well in the end.

I participated on the last day in Hawaii, which was a bit bittersweet, but it became a good memory.

It was difficult to find the meeting place. Following the directions, I went through the lobby of the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel to get to the beach, but I couldn't find the booth and ended up wandering around. Also, although I made a reservation for two, I was told at the reception that it was booked for six, and they took a photo of my reservation details. The weather was nice, but unfortunately, clouds appeared just as the sun was setting on the horizon, so I couldn't see the beautiful sunset, which was very disappointing. The captain of the boat and the two staff members who were also the bartender were friendly and fun, but they didn't speak Japanese. However, since we weren't having difficult conversations, it was enough to enjoy the scenery while drinking and having fun on the yacht. This trip was definitely above our expectations. First, I want to applaud the customer service of this Company. Our first tour was cancelled due to weather. They informed us promptly and immediately rescheduled us for an alternative date. When we arrived after the boat, there had been an error in some customers booking causing a delay in the boat's departure. Not only did they extend our time, but our drinks were compensated due to the delay. We were more than obliged to wait for the late arrivals :). The boat was not crowded, the service was fantastic, and the music was great. As promised, we enjoyed the beautiful boat and the fantastic views of the sunset, city and diamond head. Everything was literally as promised. We would definitely recommend to friends.

Last time when I wanted to jump on a catamaran, it was fully booked, so this time I made a reservation in advance despite some concerns about the weather.

We departed from the bright beach and enjoyed the sunset on the water! On the way back, we experienced the beautiful night view of Honolulu.

It was truly wonderful since we can't see the sunset every day. The woman who prepared the drinks provided prompt service and even offered refills without us having to ask.

Indeed, Japanese was not spoken, but it was not a problem at all. There were no noisy people, and no one was standing on the net.

Departing from the middle of Waikiki, it's a beach boarding and all you need is a pair of sunglasses and water. The captain and crew took us towards out the blue ocean and there you are just sitting looking at the iconic Diamond Head.
It's was great to just relax and bake under the sun for one hour!

The staff doesn't speak any Japanese at all, but you can understand where the life jackets are and how to wear them through body language and nuances. The only other Japanese guests were a family with us, and everyone else was probably American, so we couldn't understand the English jokes and conversations, but since we came to Hawaii, we shouldn't expect Japanese. The waves were very calm, and it was clear until it started to get cloudy on our way back, which felt really nice. The experience of seeing the cityscape of Honolulu and the differently oriented Diamond Head from the sea is quite rare, making it a very valuable and refreshing experience. We were also lucky enough to have dolphins swimming alongside us. You can buy alcohol and soft drinks on board. There was a commemorative photo taken before departure, and you pay $15 when you return.

Previously, I boarded the Mai Tai Catamaran to see the sunset sinking on the horizon. I was moved then, so this time I boarded to watch the Friday fireworks at Hilton. Since Hilton Village is my regular accommodation, I had been watching the Friday fireworks from the beach and poolside in front of Hilton Village, but seeing the fireworks from the sea was something special. I sat on the port side, but when we started moving, I realized we were facing the opposite side of the beach and thought I might have made a mistake. However, we stopped facing the fireworks venue, so I had a good view. If you sit close to the bow, prepared to get splashed by the waves, you can see the fireworks well. The crew only spoke English but were kind. Because of that, I ended up drinking quite a bit—Mai Tai, beer, and white wine—and then I needed to go to the restroom, which was a bit of a problem. Upon closer inspection, I noticed there was a window on the port side, and when I went to check it out, I found that it was the restroom.

After that, we moved to our dining seats and enjoyed a course meal. We had informed Veltra in advance that we were bringing our one-year-old daughter, so a seat for her was also prepared.

While I didn't know many of the songs, I still had a lot of fun.

Since there is a rock segment, the time for hula dancing isn't very long, so if you want to focus solely on hula dancing, I would recommend other shows. However, if you want to enjoy both American-style music and hula dancing, this show is highly recommended. The location is also at the Royal Hawaiian Center, so for those staying in Waikiki, it's within walking distance, which is a great point for efficient use of time.

マイケルのものまねのクオリティーが高かったのかどうかは謎ですが（笑）、楽しめたのでありだと思います。

昨年はポリネシア・カルチャーセンターのフラダンスショーを見ましたが、そちらは、セクシーな衣装などはなしでハワイの文化をしっかり見せる正統派なショーという感じでした。（それはそれでよかったです）
それに対してこちらは完全なエンターテイメントショーで、フラダンスの衣装もセクシーで素敵で、同時に、ロックで盛り上がることもでき、「アメリカにきたって気がする！（笑）」という気分を味わうことができました。
知っている曲は多くありませんでしたが、それでもとても楽しめました。

ロックの時間がある分、フラダンスの時間は長くありませんので、フラダンスだけをじっくり見たい方は他のショーをお勧めしますが、アメリカっぽい音楽もフラダンスも両方楽しみたい方にはお勧めです。
場所もロイヤルハワイアンセンターなので、ワイキキに宿泊している方は徒歩で行けますので、時間が効率的に使えるのも良い点ではないでしょうか。

I made a reservation for the last day in Hawaii on Friday. I was really looking forward to it, but… there was no information about when, what, or where things were happening. It seems there was live music, but in the end, I couldn't see or hear anything.

The dinner buffet guests were on the 1st and 2nd floors, while the appetizer guests were on the 3rd floor. After boarding, we were taken to the 1st floor, and seating was free, but there was no guidance on that either, so everyone was just wandering around aimlessly.

For some reason, it seemed that non-Japanese guests had arrived early and had already taken the window seats and were eating. I had also made a reservation for a children's chair since I was attending with a small child, but since there was no assigned table, they didn't bring it until I asked. The sailing vessel was very impressive and incredibly well maintained and professionally operated. I am a sailing enthusiast and this catamaran was extremely smooth and well built to service a delightful dinner event. The crew was attentive, while also allowing the guests to enjoy their cruise and take in the beauty of Waikiki. The cruise had a personal ambience to it while accommodating the 25 to 30 guests that were on our specific sailing. We did not feel crowded at all, and it was nice to not feel like a “herd” of guests on those double decker party cruises. The food was tasty and filling. We did get to enjoy actually sailing on the main and the jib, and we only motored for a very short time. There is something magestic and almost spiritual about sailing on the sea. The cobalt blue water beneath, and the gentle trade winds so effortlessly powering the huge sails is an experience to treasure.

The only encouragement that I would make to the Makani experience is to provide some gentle Hawaiian music on top where the forward trampoline is. Most guests enjoyed staying forward on the trampoline, and the music only played below in the bar/covered seating area.

We chose to have the Makani pick us up from our hotel and the driver and vehicle were very professional. We recommend this option as it made the entire experience effortless. I would definitely do this activity again. It was worth the time and was a good value.

Unfortunately, we couldn't see a beautiful sunset due to the cloudy weather, but the night view and fireworks visible from the sea were great. The boat sways quite a bit, and if you're prone to motion sickness, it might be tough for you.

残念ながら曇りだったため綺麗なサンセットは見られませんでしたが、海から見える夜景と花火はよかったです。
船は結構揺れて長時間乗っているので酔いやすい方は辛いかもしれません。

It was a fun stage not just for dining and watching the show, but also featuring interactive events! There was a practice time for hula dancing, a contest where randomly selected guests were invited on stage to blow a conch shell (or something like that?), and opportunities to dance with the performers—there was so much going on. The hula dancers showcased various patterns of dance. The English MC was explaining things, but it was a bit fast and hard to understand... Still, I enjoyed it thoroughly. The fire dance was amazing!

The meal had a Hawaiian flair, and it was nice that it wasn't overly extravagant. The fish dish was the most delicious.

ただ食事をしてショーを見るだけでなく、参加型イベントもある楽しいステージでした！
フラダンスの練習タイムがあったり、お客さんの中からランダムにステージに上げられて、ホラ貝（のようなもの？）を吹くコンテストがあったり、ダンサーと一緒に踊ったり、盛りだくさんです。

This catamaran cruise this evening was an unforgettable experience! We have been coming to Oahu for over 15 years as a couple (this is our 25th wedding anniversary trip) and have never seen Honolulu and Waikiki from a boat tour before. The Makani was an excellent first-time experience: Well captained and crewed, this vessel holds people above and below deck. It has a head (bathroom) that is easily accessible before or during the voyage. The crew did a nice job with the meal and beverage service, were on top of all the ship and passenger details, and readily and easily answered our questions. We sat topside in the front on bean bag canvas seats by the webbing and thoroughly enjoyed the view of the boat, the water, and the sunset and coastline. It was fun to sail as far as Diamond Head and see the lighthouse, as well as Koko Crater. Also, the hotel pickup and dropoff was a nice experience. The suggestions on attire were right on track. We would someday like to try the Friday night fireworks cruise!
