Julie, our guide, was very cheerful and taught us a lot about marine life, such as dolphins and orcas, during the bus ride. Before we knew it, we arrived at our destination. Although it was early in the morning and I felt sleepy, I recommend listening to Julie's stories as they are informative and interesting.

On the boat, we learned how to use life jackets and snorkels, as well as safety precautions for swimming, and it was simple enough for children to understand. We reached the area where the dolphins were located in about five minutes. I think we were lucky to find them at the first spot since their locations change daily. It is illegal to approach the dolphins closely, so you can't swim right next to them like you see on TV. Instead, you get to see a pod of dolphins swimming right beneath you. They come close enough that you can clearly see their patterns. We also got to see them jump. Next, we moved to the area where the turtles were. I think we saw about four of them. I was thrilled to swim alongside the turtles at a distance where I could reach out and touch them (though touching them is also prohibited).

I tend to get seasick, so I was a bit anxious, but I took some motion sickness medication, so I was fine. The waves were calm, so I don't think anyone got seasick that day. On the return trip, Julie shared stories about Hawaii's history and gave a hula dance lesson, and the crew kept us entertained, leaving no time to feel nauseous.

It was a very enjoyable day swimming with dolphins and turtles, creating memories for a lifetime. Thank you very much.

【For Participants】
1. Tips are necessary (cash only)
Tips are not included in the fee, so you will need to pay them upon return. The standard is about 10-15% of the fee, and tips are also expected for optional tours. Whether tips are included in the fee is clearly stated in the details on Veltra (though sometimes it may not be specified). The fee is paid to the tour company, while tips are given to the crew as a gesture of gratitude, so please pay them willingly.

2. Touching or approaching marine animals is prohibited by law
It seems that someone occasionally checks for violators from the shore using a drone.

3. It's better to leave photography to the professionals
If you're too focused on taking pictures, you might miss out on enjoying the view with your own eyes. You can buy photos taken by professionals for $50. While taking your own photos can save money, the skills of the professionals are overwhelmingly superior.

4. A wetsuit is essential in January
Everyone rented one. Fortunately, it wasn't too cold that day, so wearing a wetsuit kept me warm both in the water and on the boat.

5. It's okay if you can't swim
As long as you wear a life jacket, you just need to be able to kick your legs. For those who are still anxious, they provide floating aids for free. Even if you're not confident in your stamina, using a floating aid makes swimming much easier.

【To the Operating Company】
1. Please clearly state the prohibition on bringing bananas and banana-themed items
We were told on the bus that bananas were not allowed, but if someone had brought a towel or swimsuit with a banana pattern, there would be no way to use them on the boat. It seems that bananas are considered unlucky among Hawaiian boaters, but many Japanese people may not be aware of this. In the past, someone brought bananas, and it caused various issues, but it's sad that one person's ignorance can inconvenience everyone.

2. I would like everyone to do warm-up exercises together
When the bus arrived at the beach, the guide said, "Please do warm-up exercises after getting off the bus," but some people did and some didn't. Some who went to the restroom didn't have time to do them. My husband, who didn't have enough time to warm up, said in the water, "I think I'm going to cramp." ガイドのジュリーさんはとても明るく、バスの中ではイルカやシャチなど海の生物についてたくさん教えてくれ、楽しい話を聞いてるうちにあっという間に目的地に着きました。朝が早くて眠いとは思いますが、ジュリーさんの話は知識になって面白いので聞かれることを勧めます。
船の中では、ライフジャケット・シュノーケルの使い方、泳ぐ際の注意点を習い、子供でもわかるくらい簡単でした。船に乗って5分くらいでイルカがいる場所につきました。イルカの居場所は毎日変わるそうなので、最初のポイントで見つかったのは運が良かったと思います。イルカに近づくことは法律で禁止されているので、テレビで見るようにイルカの隣にぴったりくっついで泳ぐことはできません。自分の真下をイルカの群れが泳いでいくのを見る感じです。イルカの模様がはっきり見えるくらい近い距離で泳いでくれます。イルカがジャンプするのも見れました。次に亀がいる場所に移動します。4匹くらい見れたと思います。手を伸ばせば届く距離を亀と並行して泳げたのは嬉しかったです。（亀も触るの禁止）
私は酔いやすいタイプなので不安でしたが、酔い止めを飲んだので大丈夫でした。波も落ち着いていたので当日酔った人はいなかったと思います。帰りの船では、ジュリーさんによるハワイの歴史の話やフラダンス講座があったり、常にクルーが色々と笑わせてくれるので酔う暇はありません。
イルカや亀と泳げて一生の思い出になるとても楽しい一日でした。ありがとうございました。
【参加者へ】
①チップが必要（現金のみ）
料金にチップを含まないので帰りにチップを払うことになります。相場は料金の10～15％くらいで、オプショナルツアーにもチップがかかります。料金にチップが含まれているかどうかはベルトラの詳細を見れば明記されています。（たまに明記されていないツアーもありますが）料金はツアー会社へ支払われるもので、チップはクルーへ感謝の気持ちとして支払うものなので快く支払いましょう。
②海の生き物に触る、近づくことは法律により禁止
監視する人がたまに陸からドローンを海上に飛ばして違反者がいないかチェックしているそうです。
③写真はプロに任せた方がいい
カメラで撮ることに夢中になるくらいなら肉眼で思う存分見た方がいいと思います。プロが撮影した写真を50ドルで買えます。自分で撮れば節約になりますが、プロの技術には圧倒的に敵いません。
④1月はウェットスーツは必須
全員がレンタルしていました。幸い、当日はそこまで寒くなかったのでウェットスーツを着ていれば海中でも船上でも全く寒くはかなったです。
⑤泳げなくても大丈夫
ライフジャケットを着用するので、バタ足さえできれば大丈夫です。それでも不安な人には無料で浮き棒をレンタルしてくれます。体力に自信が無くても浮き棒を使えば楽に泳げます。
【催行会社へ】
①バナナ及びバナナの絵等の持込禁止について明記してほしい
当日バスの中でNGと言われましたが、バナナ模様のタオルや水着を持ち込んでいた場合、船で使うしどうしようもないです。ハワイの船乗りの間ではバナナは不吉なものらしいですが、日本人は知らない人が多いと思います。過去にバナナを持ち込んだ人がいて色々大変だったそうですが、知らないがためにその一人のせいで全員に迷惑がかかるのは悲しいです。
②準備運動は全員でしてほしい
バスが海についたときにガイドさんから「バスを降りたら準備運動してね」と言われましたが、ちゃんとする人もいればしない人もいました。トイレに行った人の中には時間がなくてできなかった人もいます。準備運動の時間が短くしっかりできなかった旦那は海の中で「足がつりそう」って言っていました。面倒ではあると思いますが、参加者が楽しく泳げるように全員で一緒に強制的に準備運動をさせることでそういうトラブルを未然に防ぐようにしてもらえたら嬉しいです。
③チップ込みの料金にしてほしい
チップ文化のない日本人の中にはチップを「取られる」と考える人がいます。（過去の書き込みで何件かチップへの不満があったので）また、相場がわからず、支払いの時に困る人もいます。（別のツアーですが「チップをいくらにすればいいの？」とこっそり相談を受けたことがあります）チップは感謝の気持ちであって、ツアーに満足すれば多めにしたり、不満なら減らしたりするものだというのはわかりますが、クレジットカードを持っている人は現金をあまり持ってこないので、急に言われたら困ると思います。チップ込みにしている他社は口コミ見たところチップへの不満をもつ利用者はいなかったし、なじみのない日本人にとってはチップ込みの方が助かります。チップのせいで☆が減るのは不本意だと思うのでご検討頂けたらと思います。

We departed at 5:30 AM, but the guide was very upbeat and explained everything well, which made me feel at ease participating. I was lucky to see dolphins right after entering the water! A dedicated underwater photographer took many pictures, so I didn't really need to take my own. There were jellyfish, and the sea in November is cold, so I rented a wetsuit (long-sleeved, knee-length) on the day. A few people experienced seasickness, so it's better to prepare some motion sickness medication. It gets cold after coming out of the water, so a windbreaker is essential. The restroom before boarding the boat is a portable toilet, so please bring your own tissue.

海に入って、すぐイルカに会えたのでラッキーだった！
写真は専属の水中カメラマンがたくさん撮ってくれたので、特に自分で撮る必要はなかった。
クラゲがいるし、11月の海は寒いので、ウェットスーツ（長袖・膝丈）を、

船酔い・波酔いが数名いたので、酔い止めは準備をした方が良い。

I was surprised that I could see that. The next day, when I went to Hanauma Bay, I encountered a whale! It was really impressive as it jumped multiple times!! If you go to Hanauma Bay early in the morning, you might get to see one too (laughs).

あれで見れたの？？って感じでした。次の日ハナウマ湾に行ってきたら普通にクジラに遭遇しました。そっちの方が何回も飛んだりしていたのですごい迫力でした！！

I participated with my mother, who is over 70, and my 3-year-old child. I was worried because my child had a tough time with seasickness on a previous tour, but we were able to enjoy the trip without any seasickness.

70過ぎの母親と３歳の子供を連れての参加でした。以前に他のツアーで船酔いで子供が辛そうだったため不安でしたが、船酔いなく楽しむことができました。

I participated in the same tour last year, and it was so much fun that I decided to repeat it. Last time, I couldn't get a DVD recorded, but this time I requested it when I made the reservation and received confirmation before going. (Last time, I was told it couldn't be done on the day due to staffing issues.)

I was thinking it would be nice to go on a cruise even if I couldn't see much after reading other people's experiences, but just about five minutes after we set sail, we saw a whale! We got to see it jump and spout water many times! It came right next to the boat, and it was a satisfying tour! My daughter seemed really excited, as she didn't expect to see so much! The boat didn't rock too much either, so it was a great cruise!

In the morning, around 5:30, a private bus will come to pick you up at the hotel.

Wear your swimsuit and throw on a light T-shirt and shorts before heading out!

On the way, we learned about the islands and dolphins. We were also informed about the meaning of the name of the Private Dolphin Middle School. Our guide, Julie, was very entertaining and informative.

Since it was said to be cold, we rented wetsuits for $10. While we were used to the cold water, some others were shivering, so it might be better to rent one for more enjoyment. It might also be a good idea to have a bath towel. If you are prone to seasickness, it seems wise to take some medication beforehand.

Ten minutes after the boat departed, we were quite lucky that day (thanks to the captain's dad!) and quickly encountered a pod of about 30 dolphins! I was moved by the graceful swimming of the dolphins. A colleague who joined us even saw a dolphin rubbing its belly! ♡

We tried three times and were able to see them perfectly twice. In this tour, the youngest participant was a 4-year-old, and everyone was able to see the dolphins clearly, with about 30 people on the tour all looking very satisfied. (The confirmation that no one missed seeing them was also excellent!)

After that, we were able to swim with the great professor turtle at the snorkeling spot.

The photographer, John, was taking lots of pictures, so if you want photos, it might be a good idea to have him take plenty!

We brought an underwater camera, but we also wanted a three-shot with the turtle professor and professional photos of the dolphins, so we purchased them for $50! You can choose between data or USB. You can also decide later whether to buy the photos, so if you feel you got some great shots after the tour, it's worth purchasing!

On the way back, you will ride the bus in your wet swimsuit. You can return to the hotel around noon, so you can go out afterward.

It was an amazing time that makes you want to go to Hawaii just for this tour! My colleague kept saying that they would be happy to do this tour again while we were in Hawaii! Haha. I am filled with gratitude for Julie, our guide, and all the crew members of the tour. I look forward to seeing you all again! ♡

寒いとのことだったので、ウェットスーツを10ドルでレンタルしました。私達は冷たい水にも慣れましたが、他の方は震えている方もいましたので、借りておいた方が楽しめるかもしれません。バスタオルもある方がいいかと思います。酔いやすい方は、薬も飲んでおく方がよさそうです。

船が出発して、10分。その日は運がかなりよく、（船長のパパのおかげ！）すぐに30頭ほどのイルカ先生の群れに遭遇！優雅に泳ぐイルカ先生の姿に感動しました。
一緒に行った同僚は、お腹をスリスリしているイルカ先生も見られたそうです♡

私たちは、３回チャレンジして、2回ばっちり見られました。今回のツアーでは、最年少４歳の子も参加していましたが、全員がイルカをバッチリ見られて、ツアー30人ほどみんな大満足の様子。（見ていない人がいないかの確認もすばらしい！！）

その後シュノーケリングスポットで、カメ大教授と泳ぐこともできました。

カメラマンのジョンくんも写真をバシバシ撮ってくれているので、写真がほしいなぁと思っている方は、どんどん撮ってもらうといいかも！

私たちは水中カメラも持っていましたが、カメ教授とのスリーショットやプロのイルカ達の写真も欲しいとなり、50ドルで購入！
データでもUSBでも選べます。写真を買うかどうかも後で決められるので、ツアーが終わっていい写真撮ってもらえたなぁという方は購入する価値ありです！

帰りはそのまま、濡れた水着でバスに乗ります。
昼頃にはホテルに帰って来られるので、その後も出かけることも可能です。

このツアーのためだけにハワイに行きたくなる最高な時間でした(^^)一緒に行った同僚は、ハワイにいる間、ずっと、このツアーでもよいと話していました！！笑

We had planned for about a two-hour cruise, and I was imagining it would be nice to see whales after about 30 minutes. However, within just five minutes of departure, we spotted whales! When I hurried out onto the deck, I was able to see a mother whale and her four calves up close! The local crew mentioned that it's quite rare to see them this early and so close, and they were cheering with excitement. The other passengers were also thrilled. We continued to move alongside the mother and her calves for the entire trip. The beautiful sea and the dynamic sight of the whales made me feel the greatness of the Earth, and I almost cried.

2時間くらいのクルージングの予定で、30分くらい経ってからクジラが見られたらいいのかな？と勝手に想像していたら、出航してから５分も経たないうちにクジラがいる！とのこと。慌てて甲板にでるとすぐ近くにクジラの親子が4匹確認出来ました！！現地クルーの人もこんなに早く、間近にみえるのはかなり稀とのことで歓声をあげていました。乗っていたお客さんも大盛り大興奮。その後もずーーっとクジラの親子とともに最後まで移動。きれいな海とクジラのダイナミックな姿に地球の偉大さを感じ涙が出そうになりました。

It's not a full view, but I was able to see it to some extent. The captain makes an announcement saying, "You can see it in the direction of [specific time]," so if you go to that side, you can catch a glimpse, but it was difficult to take a photo. It would have been nice to see it from the intended side, but it's all up to luck.

ガッツリという訳ではないが、一応見ることが出来ました。キャプテンが「何時の方向に見えます」というアナウンスをしてくれるので、そちらの側に見に行くとちらっと見えるのですが、写真を撮るのは難しかったです。
狙った側で見れるとよかったのですが運次第ですね。

The fish were very beautiful to see, and I highly recommend it. The time was a bit short, but it was still a fulfilling experience. If there are days when only the morning is available, I recommend it.

You will board the submarine after about a 15-minute boat ride. Then, you will spend quite a long time moving around the seabed in the submarine. It can make you feel seasick. Many people experienced motion sickness. I recommend that those who are prone to seasickness take some medication before going. However, I was happy to see a sea turtle. The crew members were all very kind.

15分ぐらい船に乗ってサブマリンに乗り込みます。それから結構長い時間サブマリンで海底を動き回ります。酔います。結構な人が船酔いしてました。酔いやすい方は酔い止めを飲んで行かれることをオススメします。でも、ウミガメに会えたのは嬉しかったです。船員の方々は皆さん優しかったです、

We dive to about 120 feet deep, but even in shallower areas, you can see many small fish and sea turtles. We also go right next to a sunken ship. Interestingly, the wing section of the YS-11 has become a home for fish.

水深120ftぐらいまで潜りますが、浅い場所でも小魚や海亀を多数見ることができます。沈没船の真横にも行きます。興味深いのはYS-11の主翼部分が魚の家になっていることです。

I participated in the early morning tour on January 3rd with my middle school son. I was worried about the weather forecast, as it mentioned strong winds (which could make us seasick) and low temperatures (which seemed cold), but in the end, it turned out to be a great experience.

Since I had read other people's experiences, both of us took motion sickness medication before getting on the boat, which might be why we didn't feel seasick at all. The cold wasn't too bad after we got off the boat and entered the sea the first time, but after getting back on the boat the second time, I started shivering. However, I had seen from others' experiences that it was a good idea to bring a bath towel and something to wear over our clothes, so we brought bath towels and two of the non-adhesive hot packs each, which helped us warm up quickly. The local guide on the boat even asked, "What is that?" (laughs).

On the bus ride there, we heard various stories from our guide, Julie, and once we were on the boat, everything flowed smoothly. Despite the large number of participants, there were no issues with anyone missing out on anything, which was surprising.

We spotted dolphins relatively quickly after getting on the boat, and everyone jumped in to swim close to them, but it was quite hard (laughs). I don't usually do any sports, so I lagged behind everyone and couldn't see the dolphins underwater until the end. My son said, "The dolphin was swimming right below me!" and I thought that was enough, but when I found out that another person and I hadn't seen the dolphins yet, the local guide helped push me and pull me closer to the dolphins, and I was able to see them safely.

The first time we entered the sea to see the dolphins, I was constantly moving my body, so I was out of breath (laughs), but I wasn't too cold after getting back on the boat. However, during the second time in the sea, we swam more leisurely to watch the sea turtles and other fish, so I didn't move my body much, and I felt quite cold after getting back on the boat.

It was great that we had a photographer with us who took lots of pictures. I brought my own underwater camera, but I had no time to take photos while swimming after the dolphins (laughs).

On the boat, the local guides constantly made us laugh with gestures and communicated with us through gestures, so I think even those who can't speak English can enjoy it quite a bit.

We were able to regain our body temperature by eating warm spam onigiri and snacks, and I think it was a well-organized tour.

1月3日の朝早いほうのツアーに中学生の息子と参加しました。
天気予報を見ていると、風も強いし（船に酔いそう）、気温も低めだし（寒そう）、日本を出発する頃から心配していたのですが、参加した結果、良かったです(^^)
他のかたの体験談を見ていたので、船に乗る前に酔い止め薬を二人とも服用していたせいか船に酔う事もなかったです。
寒さは、一度目に船をおりて海に入った後はそうでもなかったのですが、二度目に海に入って船にあがってからはガタガタ震えてしまいました。
でもそれも、他のかたの体験談からバスタオルや上に羽織るものを持参したほうが良いというのを見ていたので、バスタオルと上に羽織るものと、そして我が家は貼らないタイプのホカロンを一人二つずつ持参していったのですぐにおさまりました。船に乗っていた地元のガイドのかたから「それは何か？」と聞かれましたが(笑)

行きのバスの中ではガイドのジュリーさんからいろいろなお話が聞けましたし、船に乗ってからも流れがスムーズで、参加人数がかなり多かったにも関わらず、誰かに何かがわたっていないなどという事がなかったのが驚きでした。

船に乗って割とすぐにイルカが見つかり、ドボンドボンと全員飛び込んでイルカの近くまで泳いでいきましたが、これが結構ハードで(笑)
普段スポーツなど全くしない私は、皆さんから遅れ気味で最後までイルカを水中で見る事がかなわず、息子は「イルカが真下に泳いでいた！」と言っていたのでもうそれでじゅうぶんと思っていたのですが、私ともう一人のかたがまだ水中でイルカを見ていないと知ると、地元のガイドのかたが私の背中を押して下さったり手を引っ張って下さったりしながらイルカの近くまで連れて行って下さり、無事見る事が出来ました。

一度目にイルカを見に海に入った時は、常に必死で身体を動かしていたせいか息はあがっていたものの(笑)、船にあがってからもそれほど寒くなかったのですが、二度目に海に入った時にはそれぞれゆったり泳ぎながらウミガメや他の魚の泳ぎを見る感じだったので、あまり身体を動かさなかったせいか船に上がってからかなり寒かったです。

今回カメラマンのかたの同行があったので写真をいっぱい撮ってもらえてよかったです。自分でも水中カメラを持参して行ったのですが、イルカを追いかけて泳いでいる時は撮影する余裕が全くなかったりしたので(笑)

船の上で、常に地元のガイドのかたがたがジェスチャーで笑わせてくださったり、ジェスチャーだけでやりとりして下さったりしてくれたので、英語がしゃべれないかたでもかなり楽しめると思います。

温かいスパムおにぎりや、スナックを食べて体温を取り戻せましたし、いたれりつくせりのツアーだったと思います。

The guide, captain, cameraman, and all the staff were very kind and clearly loved dolphins. The captain searched for spots with lots of dolphins, and the guide took us to where the dolphins were, so I think even those who are not good at swimming will be fine. I definitely want to use this service again. Thank you very much.

I boarded the 10 AM tour with a guide who spoke Japanese.

Along the way, we saw sea turtles several times, which made both my children and my wife very happy. Of course, I was also extremely satisfied with the tour. My child said, "I want to ride again!"

The scenery on the way to where the submarine is docked was beautiful, and from the second floor of the boat, you can see Diamond Head, so I definitely recommend going to the second floor!

The ladder mentioned in the precautions for boarding the submarine is actually not a ladder but a staircase (imagine a steep, narrow staircase), and my 6-year-old child and my wife had no trouble getting on and off.

However, since it is quite steep, I think it is essential to follow the precautions that say to "wear sneakers" and "wear pants."

Considering the cost of living in Hawaii, I think the price is quite reasonable.

That said, I will point out three potential downsides that might be considered negatives by some people.

First, when gathering, you go to the counter inside the Hilton Hawaiian Village, but not much Japanese is spoken here. You check in at this counter, but you have to move to the boarding area for the boat on your own (it's very close, though).

You will see a boat with "Atlantis" written in large letters, so you should be able to find it, but please be aware that this is not the type of package tour where your name is called at the reception, and you walk together with the guide to the boarding area.

Also, while the 10 AM tour has a guide who speaks Japanese, I found that I could only understand about 50-60% of what was said in Japanese (laughs).

I’m not dissatisfied; it just feels very Hawaiian, but if you expect 100% perfect Japanese, you might be a bit disappointed (laughs).

Additionally, as mentioned in the tour precautions and many reviews, you will travel by boat from the boarding area to the submarine, and depending on the wind conditions that day, those who are sensitive may experience seasickness.

When passengers move from the boat to the submarine, the boat will naturally be docked close to the submarine, but it can also sway quite a bit, so there is a possibility of seasickness here as well.

I recommend that anyone who is worried about seasickness or is prone to motion sickness take anti-nausea medication in advance.

途中で海ガメも何回か見られて、子供はもちろん妻も喜んでいました。もちろん私も大満足のツアーでした。子供は「また乗りたい！」と言っていました。

潜水艦が停泊している沖に行くまでの景色も綺麗で、船の2Fからはダイヤモンドヘッドが見えますので絶対に2Fに行く事をオススメします！

注意事項に書いてある潜水艦への乗船の際のハシゴも、実際はハシゴではなく階段状になっており（急で、足場が狭めの階段とご想像ください）6才の子供やうちの妻も訳なく乗降できました。

ただし、かなり急ですので、やはり注意事項に書いてある「スニーカーなどを着用」「ズボン着用」は必須かと思います。

価格も、ハワイの物価を考えれば相当額だと思います。

そんな中であえてマイナス点と言いますか、人によってはマイナス点になりそうな部分を3点挙げます。

まず集合の際、ヒルトンハワイアンビレッジ内のカウンターに行きますが、ここでは余り日本語が通じません。受付はまずこのカウンターで行いますが、船への乗船場所へは自身で移動します。（目と鼻の先ですが）

英語で大きく「Atlantis」と書かれた船が船着き場に来るので分かるとは思いますが、いわゆる日本人観光客御用達のパッケージツアーのように、受付の所で名前を呼ばれてガイドさんと共に船着き場までゾロゾロ行くタイプではないので気を付けてください。

また、10時の回は潜水艦のガイドさんが日本語をお話しされる、との事でしたが、確かに日本語でのガイドを直接してくださいますが5〜6割くらいしか理解できない日本語でした(笑)

不満ではありませんし、何ともハワイらしいな、と言う感想ですが、100％きれいな日本語を期待されて行くと肩透かしかもしれません(笑)

それと、ツアーの注意事項や多くのレビューでも書かれていますが、船着き場から潜水艦の所まで船で移動しますが、その日の風の状況により船が弱い人は船酔いする可能性があります。

また、船から潜水艦へお客さんが移動する際には当然船が潜水艦の近くに停泊するのですが、ここでも結構船が揺れますので、同様に船酔いする可能性があります。

船酔いが心配な人、乗り物酔いしやすい人は事前に必ず酔い止めを飲む事をオススメします。

The distance to the whales is about 300 meters, which is quite close. While the sense of their size may not be overwhelming, the excitement when you see them is significant. It's only about a 15-minute distance from the port, so the boat doesn't sway much. If you're deciding between skydiving and whale watching, I recommend whale watching!

クジラとの距離は近くて300メートルくらいです。大きいという感動は少ないですが見たときの感動は大きいです。港から15分くらいの距離なので船が大きく揺れることもありません。スカイダイビングとホエールウォッチングを迷っているならホエールウォッチングを勧めます！

I had the impression that there would be more beautiful fish, so I was disappointed that I didn't see many (´-`).｡oO. Also, my child gets seasick, and unfortunately, they got sick on the boat we took to get to the submarine. If you are prone to seasickness, it's definitely better to take medication before going.

もう少し沢山の綺麗なお魚がいるイメージで行きましたので、そんなに見れなかったので残念でした（´-`）.｡oO
あと子供が船酔いをするので、潜水艦に行くまでに乗った船で酔ってしまい、残念でした。
船酔いする人は必ず薬を飲んで行かれた方がいいです。

This was my first time in Hawaii, and I only signed up for this dolphin activity. I thought it would fulfill my children's (11 and 6 years old) wish to swim with dolphins!

We were picked up by bus, and on the way to the ocean, we listened to our guide, Julie. I was wondering why it was called Dolphin School, but after hearing her talk, I understood. The dolphins were our teachers! Julie was so energetic, funny, and enjoyable to be around! The distance to the ocean was quite far, but we had a great time learning about the dolphins and the island from her, making the trip feel quick. Julie's love for dolphins was incredible!

When we arrived and finished using the restroom, we headed to the boat, where the Hawaiian captain and the staff were waiting for us! Everyone welcomed us with smiles, and as we boarded the boat, we sang a prayer song and threw flowers into the sea. From there, we set off to find our dolphin teachers. Luckily, we spotted them quite quickly! We immediately put on our goggles and jumped into the water. The staff and Julie guided us, saying, "Look down!" and "Look to the mountains!" so we desperately searched for the dolphins. They were swimming in a pod, making it challenging to keep up. However, we swam slowly so as not to scare them, and the dolphins swam right by us. Some even swam upside down, showing us their bellies. We were able to see these adorable teachers up close! My children seemed thrilled to swim with them. The 6-year-old borrowed a float, which made it easier for him to swim, so that was great.

While moving to the next snorkeling point, we encountered a whale! It seems they returned a bit early this year due to the mild winter. I never expected to see a whale, so I was super excited! It was such a lucky moment! At the next snorkeling point, we discovered a sea turtle gracefully swimming around. I ended up getting too cold and had to go back to the boat with my child, but my husband swam until the end. It was a really fun time, but as soon as we got back on the boat, I started feeling seasick, and by the end, I was struggling with both the cold and the nausea... I regretted not taking motion sickness medication for myself, even though I had given some to the kids. Still, we finished strong with a hula dance graduation ceremony! My sons fell asleep, though... We took a group photo together to wrap up the day.

We saw dolphins, a whale, and a sea turtle, and even spotted seals from the bus on the way back—what a packed tour! The boat had a restroom, we could borrow wetsuits, and the conversations were enjoyable. The only downside was my own health, but I would love to join this tour again when I come back to Hawaii.

今回初めてのハワイでアクテビティはこのイルカ中学だけ申し込みをしていました。
子供たち（11歳、6歳）たってのイルカと泳ぎたい！を叶えてくれると思い申し込みました。

バスでピックアップしてもらい海までの道中、ジュリさんのガイドを聞きながら行きました。
なぜイルカ中学？と思っていましたが話を聞いて納得。イルカは私たちの先生でした！
そして話をしてくれたジュリさんはとにかく元気だし面白いし楽しい！
海まで距離があるのでイルカ先生の知識や島のこと、知らなかったことを楽しく聞けてあっという間の行きでした。ジュリさんのイルカ愛が凄かった！

着いてトイレを済ませて船に向かうと、ハワイアンのパパ（船長）を始めスタッフのお兄さんお姉さん方が待っていてくれました！
みんな笑顔で迎えてくれて船に乗り込むと祈りの歌を歌い花を海へ投げ入れました。
そこからイルカ先生を探しに沖へ。ラッキーなことに結構すぐにイルカ先生たち発見！
すぐにゴーグルなどつけて海へドボン
スタッフのお兄さんやジュリさんが「下見テーーー！」「山ミテーーー！」とイルカ先生のいる方向を支持してくれるので必死に探しました。
群れで泳ぎながら移動しているので追いかけるのが大変でした。それでも驚かさないようにゆっくり泳いでいくとすぐ近くをスイーーと先生たちが泳いでいきました。
中には逆さまにお腹を見せて泳ぐイルカも。
なんとも可愛らしい先生たちの姿を見ることができました！
子供たちも一緒に泳げて嬉しかったようでした。
6歳の方は浮き棒を借りていたので楽に泳ぐことができたのでありがたかったです。

そして次のシュノーケルポイントまで船に上がり移動する間、なんと！クジラ大先生に遭遇！！
今年は暖冬のために帰ってくるのが少し早かったそう。
クジラなんて見れると思ってなかったので大興奮！とってもラッキーでした！
そして、次のシュノーケルポイントではウミガメ大教授発見！気持ち良さそうにフヨフヨと泳いでました。
私は海の冷たさに負けてしまい子供と船に上がってしまいましてが、旦那は最後までしっかり泳いできてました。
すごい楽しい時間だったのですが、船に乗り込んだ早々私自身酔ってしまっていて最後の方は寒さと酔いで大変でした…なので、子供には飲ませていましたが自分も酔い止め飲んでおけばよかったなと後悔。
それでも最後、卒業試験のフラダンスをみんなで踊り元気にフィニッシュ！息子たちは寝ちゃってましたが…
みんなで集合写真を撮って終了しました。

イルカ先生にもクジラ大先生にもウミガメ大教授にもそして帰りのバスからはアザラシを見ることができて盛りだくさんのツアーでした！
船にはトイレもあるし、ウエットスーツもお借りできるしお話も楽しいし自分の体調だけが残念だったけどまたハワイに来た時はまた参加したいなと思えるツアーでした。

とにかく楽しく元気に思い出を作りたい！という方は本当にオススメのツアーです！

Initially, it was promised that if whales were not seen, re-boarding tickets would be distributed, but most people did not receive the re-boarding tickets. I think it's almost impossible to ride again given the length of stay. From the beginning, they should have suggested a half-price refund if whales were not seen.

最初の約束では、クジラが見れない時は、再乗車券を配布とありましたが、ほとんどの人は再乗車券は受け取りませんでした。だって滞在日数から再度乗車する事は、ほとんど不可能だと思います。最初から、クジラを見れない時は、半額返金などを提案すべきです。

I really wanted to go to this place. At first, I was unsure whether to join the tour, but in the end, it was definitely the right decision. Thanks to the clear explanations about the highlights and recommended spots, I was able to make effective use of my time. I also appreciated the little tips about souvenirs. I absolutely recommend participating. The guide was fantastic.

We were very disappointed with this tour as it's nothing like the video on their ad. First of all the vessels are mechanically disabled so you don't get to operate them; instead you get pushed around by divers. Also the video shows several people in the water at the same time which is also not true. They only had 3 bubbles taking groups of 3 down at a time and when you have 25 people on the tour, you end up spending most of the day waiting around for them to finish. They did offer some fins and snorkels but there weren't nearly enough of them to accomodate everyone that were waiting. I wouldn't recommend this tour, you can find cheaper boat or snorkeling tours for a fraction of the coast. It was kind of like renting a bike where you're not allowed to use the pedals or the handles and someone just pushes you around instead.

There were no whales.
I feel like crying.
It just turned into a morning cruise.
The scenery was amazing, though.
On the bus back from the dinner cruise, there was a video playing about a guarantee, but what was that about?

Swimming with dolphins was refreshing and made me feel alive. The weather is just a matter of luck. The sea park was a bit lacking. The bird cage was the best part. The tour bus had the air conditioning set too cold, and it was chilly.

イルカと泳ぐのは新鮮で良かったと言うか命を感じました。
天気は運しかないですね。
シーパークは物足りないです。鳥のケージが一番良かったです。
ツアーのバスは冷房が利きすぎて寒かったです。

I thought the water would be clearer, but the submarine's windows were dirty, making it hard to see clearly. I also didn't see as many fish as I expected. Even though we counted the number of people boarding, there weren't enough seats, so we had to squeeze in with the kids on our laps. The air conditioning coming from under our feet was cold. Overall, I felt that the experience was underwhelming for the price. It was disappointing that we could only see the turtles from a distance. There were few fish and not many varieties, so the kids got bored and looked sleepy halfway through.

もっと水が澄んでると思ってたし、潜水艦の窓が汚いのか綺麗に見えなかったし、思ってたよりも魚が見えなかった。定員数を数えて乗ってるはずなのに、席が足りないとかで子供を膝の上に乗せて詰めました。
足の下から出てくるエアコンが寒かった。
値段の割に感動が薄かったです。
亀も遠くにしか見えなくて残念でした。
魚が少ないし、種類も少なくて子供たちも途中で飽きてしまって眠そうにしてました。

I participated with my two children at the end of December. Since they do not provide transportation to hotels in Waikiki, we rented a car to get there. We drove from the highway towards Waianae and headed north along the coast. I thought it would have been better to eat at one of the fast food places before the harbor. The meeting place was hard to find, and we finally located it after searching with another group of Japanese tourists who had signed up for the same tour. It would be helpful to use the car with the tour company name as a landmark. There were only portable toilets at the harbor. Before boarding the boat, we had to take off our shoes and go barefoot. Drinks and snacks were available for us to enjoy. Everyone in my family took motion sickness medication, but everyone except me got seasick; my 6-year-old got sick and threw up within 30 minutes, and my 9-year-old was knocked out, both of them sleeping for most of the two-hour cruise. While overcoming the rough waves, I felt like I was in the movie Moana... We encountered a pod of dolphins, and the kids perked up at that moment. Two staff members were searching for whales with binoculars, but we ultimately didn’t see any. The view of Waianae from the boat was wonderful, and I felt rejuvenated by Hawaii's nature, but the kids were exhausted, and not seeing any whales made me feel like we didn’t get our money's worth, so I give it two stars. The staff took care of various things, but they had no Japanese language support at all. Since most participants were Japanese, the fast-paced English could be a bit tough for those who are not good at English. We were not given life jackets, and when I requested one for the kids, they were surprised and handed over a type that looked like a guillotine, which was uncomfortable for my child who was already feeling unwell, and in the end, they couldn’t wear it. I had lingering concerns about safety. Plus, the rough waves... that would be unthinkable in Japan. We received a re-try voucher, but it’s quite difficult to re-try this season, and I wish the expiration could be extended to 1-2 years.

12月末に子供2人と参加しました。送迎はワイキキのホテルまではしてくれないとのことでレンタカーして向かいました。ハイウェイからワイアナエ方向に進み海岸沿い北上しました。ハーバー手前に数件ファストフード店ありそこで食べればよかったと思いました。集合場所は分かりにくく同じツアー申し込んだ他の日本人グループと一緒に探してやっと見つけました。ツアー会社名の書いた車目印にするといいです。ハーバーには簡易トイレしかありません。船に乗り込む前に靴を脱ぎ裸足で乗船。飲み物とお菓子はご自由にと置いてありました。家族全員酔い止め飲んでましたが、わたし以外はみんな船酔い、6歳の下の子は30分も経たないうちに酔って吐き、9歳の上の子もノックアウトで二人とも二時間のクルーズ中ほぼ寝てました。荒波乗り越えながら映画のモアナの気分になりました…途中イルカの群れに会い子供もその時だけは起き上がり元気に。スタッフ二人が双眼鏡でクジラ捜索してましたが結局会えずでした。船からのワイアナエの景色は素晴らしく、ハワイの自然に癒されましたが、子供はぐったりでクジラにも会えず、自然のもので仕方ないとはいえ高い費用の元が取れた気がせず星二つ。スタッフは色々ケアしてくれましたが、日本語は全くNGでした。ツアー参加の大半が日本人の中早口の英語で、英語が得意でない場合はちょっと辛いかもです。ライフジャケット渡されず、子供の分を要求したら驚かれ、ギロチンみたいなタイプのを渡されて子供は体調悪い中首締まり苦しく、結局つけれずでした。安全面で不安が残りました。しかも荒波…日本ではあり得ないです。再トライ券もらいましたが、今シーズン再トライはなかなか難しいしせめて期限が１〜２年あればと思いました。

We took our 2 girls, 6 and 8. Water was slightly cool and it was windy which made the girls cold but it was fine otherwise. The dolphins were so sweet and playful and the trainers were great and good with our daughters. Definitely worthwhile and much better than sea life park which we have done before as well.

We participated on Christmas Day with our 4-year-old child. I was honestly worried about whether my child would enjoy it, but I wanted to show her the dolphins, so we joined. Of course, my child couldn't swim with the dolphins, but while my husband and I were searching for dolphins, the crew took care of our daughter, and she seemed to have a great time, for which we are truly grateful. At the next snorkeling spot, our daughter was able to get in the water and see the fish, which was really nice. A life jacket is essential, and I think it's better to rent one if you're going in winter. Next time, I want to get in the water with my daughter and show her lots of dolphins. Our guide, Julie, was so bright and gave us a lot of positive encouragement. Thank you very much!

4歳の子供とクリスマスの日に参加しました。子供が楽しめるか、正直不安でしたが、イルカを見せてあげたくて参加しました。流石に、子供はイルカと一緒には泳ぐことができませんでしたが、私達夫婦がイルカ探しをしている間、クルーの人が娘の面倒をみてくださったおかげで、ご機嫌に過ごせたようで、ほんと感謝で、助かりました。次のシュノーケリングスポットでは、娘も海に入り、魚を見ることができ、ほんとよかったです。ライフジャケットは必須で、冬に行かれる方は借りられた方がいいと思います。次回は、娘と一緒に海に入り、沢山のイルカを見せてやりたいと思います。ガイドのジュリーさんの明るさ、ほんと前向きな勇気をもらえました。ありがとうございました！

The explanations in Japanese were very helpful. The child who was a little scared to ride the submarine became excited and started looking around underwater once we dove in.

I recommend that those who are prone to motion sickness take anti-nausea medication.

潜水艦に乗るのを少し怖がっていた子供も潜りだしたら、興奮して海の中を眺めていました。

酔いやすい人は酔い止めを飲むことをお勧めします。
