It was great. Saw lots of fish and a sea turtle. Was hoping to see a Whale, but they were gone on the day we went.

From the pickup location, we took a bus to board at Honolulu Harbor, where the captain welcomed us. If you look up a little, you can see other cruise ships and planes in the sky (these are passenger planes from Honolulu Airport). As we departed the resort, we headed towards Waikiki while passing container ships, resort ships, and Coast Guard vessels. Just this alone gives you a feeling of being on a sightseeing cruise.

From here, we went to a point where whales are known to be, waiting for them to surface for air. I didn't know this myself, but whales don't stay at the surface all the time, and they don't go to various places just to be found. We went out to the side of the boat and searched for whales. But don't worry! When a whale appears, they announce it over the loudspeaker in a clockwise direction. It's okay if you're not good at English. People will quickly move to the right or left. Once a whale dives, it won't surface for more than 20 minutes, so even if you see one, you might not see it multiple times. I was lucky enough to see them twice this time. However, there is a law called the 100-yard rule (keeping a distance of over 100 yards from the whales), so you can't see them up close. When I saw them the second time, one happened to surface right next to the boat, making it look huge. (In this case, the rule is to turn off the engine to avoid harming the whale.) You won't necessarily see them every time. It's best to book on a sunny day according to Hawaii's weather forecast.

ザ リゾート 出港すると コンテナ船 リゾート船 コートガードの船見ながら ワイキキ沖を目指します。これだけでも遊覧船気分です。ここからクジラのいるポイントに行き クジラが息継ぎで 海面に現れるをまちます。私自身知らなかったのですが クジラはずっと海面居るわけではなく クジラを追い求めて色々な場所に 行くわけでは ありません。船の側舷に出て ひたすら クジラを探します。でも 心配しないでください。クジラが現れると時計回りの方向を館内放送してくれます。英語が苦手でも大丈夫です。人が一気に右や左に移動します。１度潜ると20分以上 浮上しないため クジラに会えても 何回も見られ訳ではありません。私は今回 2回会えました。ただ 法律で １００ヤードルールがあるらしく(クジラとの距離を100ヤード以上離す)間近で見られ訳ではありません。２回目合えた時 たまたま 船の直ぐ側に浮上したため 大きく見えました。(この場合 クジラを傷つけないようにエンジンを切るのがルールらしい) 毎回 必ず見られる訳ではありません。ハワイの天気予報晴れの日に予約必要です。

There were fewer people, so it was a joint tour with the Dolphin University group. Therefore, it was on a two-story boat. This was my second time participating, but I preferred the previous tour that was only with Dolphin Junior High. The single-story boat had a sense of openness, and personally, I didn't think the hula dance was necessary. During the final hula dance, only some people from the university and the crew were really getting into it, while we, including the junior high students, seemed quite exhausted and a bit disengaged. I understood that the snacks were different for the junior high and university, but it didn't feel good to see that disparity right in front of us.

It was quite intense, but the junior high tour was a good one that eliminated unnecessary elements, so I would definitely like to see the junior high operate on its own. I think I will participate again next time.

人数が少なかったのか、イルカ大学の方達と合同でのツアーでした。なので2階建てのボートでした。2回目の参加だったのですが、前回のイルカ中学だけのツアーの方が良かったです。ボートも一階建て？で開放感がありましたし、私的にアロハダンス？は必要なかったので。最後のアロハダンスで盛り上がってるのは大学の一部の方達と、クルーの方々だけで、私たちを含め中学の方達はかなりしんどそうで若干シラけていました。軽食も中学と大学で内容が違うのは分かっていましたが、目の前で格差が生まれるので良い気分ではなかったです。
結構スパルタですが、中学のほうは無駄を省いた良いツアーなので、ぜひ中学は中学のみで運行してもらいたいです。また次回も参加すると思います。

This was my first visit.
This trip included four adults and three children from my family, including my youngest who is only three years old, so we participated in the Dolphin Encounter that everyone could enjoy.
The weather was great, making it perfect for the tour.
The cheerful dolphin trainer and the very gentle and charming dolphins made the kids extremely happy!
They take photos of you kissing the dolphins.
However, those photos are quite expensive!
It's $75 for two photos of you kissing the dolphin on the cheek and on the mouth per person.
There was no way we could buy one for everyone, so I only got one for my parents as a keepsake.
Also, you can't get the family photo data unless you purchase the photos.
I would appreciate it if they could reconsider the pricing a bit.
The park isn't very large, so even the kids could walk around easily.
They were delighted to see sea turtles and baby sharks up close.
There are also play equipment in the park, which was great for the kids who were getting bored!
It's a facility that a three-year-old can enjoy, so it's probably more suitable for younger children.

初めて訪れました。
今回の旅は両親と私たち家族の大人4名子供3名。
まだ一番下の子が3歳なので、みんなで体験出来るドルフィンエンカウンターに参加。
お天気もよく、ツアー参加には申し分ない気候でした。
陽気なイルカの調教師さんと、とても優しくチャーミングなイルカを触れて子供達も大喜び！
イルカとキスしてる写真を撮ってくれます。
ただ、その写真がとっても高額！
1人につきイルカとほっぺにキスと口づけ写真2枚で75ドル。
とてもじゃないけど、全員分なんて買えなかったので、両親の記念にと両親の分だけ。
また家族写真は写真を購入しないとデータがもらえません。
もう少し金額を見直して頂けると嬉しいです。
Parkはそんなに広くなく、子供の足でも全然歩けます。
ウミガメやサメの子供など間近で観られるので喜んでいました。
園内には遊具もあり、暇を持て余す子供達に良かったです！
3歳の子供が十分楽しめるくらいの施設なので、小さなお子様向けかな。

As we boarded the boat and set off, we spotted dolphins swimming in the distance. I was excitedly wondering if we would see a whale next! I gazed out at the sea, but it took a while for one to appear. While enjoying a different view of the streets of Waikiki and Diamond Head, we floated on the water... and then, could it be a whale?! I noticed a splash of water rising up. And finally, a whale jumped high out of the water!!

I want to see it again!

船に乗り少しすると遠くの方でイルカが泳いでるのを発見。
次はクジラか⁉︎とワクワクしながら海を眺めましたが、なかなか現れてくれませんでした。
ワイキキの街並みやダイヤモンドヘッドを別の角度から見たりしながら、海の上をプカプカ…
とその時、クジラ⁉︎水しぶきが上がっているのを発見しました。
そしてついにクジラの大ジャンプ‼︎

I had never been to Hawaii during whale watching season before, and this was my first attempt at whale watching. I boarded the boat with high expectations, but unfortunately, I wasn't able to see any whales... tears. The morning boat ride was pleasant with the sea breeze, but it's still disappointing not to see anything. We were returning home the next day, so we didn't use it, but I heard that if you don't see any whales, you can receive a free boarding ticket. (Transportation to the boat is separate.) I thought it was nice that they have such care in place.

これまでクジラが見られる時期にハワイにきたことがなく、ホエールウォッチング初挑戦でした。期待を膨らませて船に乗りましたが、残念ながらクジラを見ることはできませんでした…涙
早朝の船で海風も心地よかったのですがやっぱり見れないと残念ですよね。
私達は翌日帰国だったので使いませんでしたが、見れなかった場合は無料乗船券を貰えるそうです。（船までの送迎は別途必要）そういったケアがあるところはいいなと思いました。

We participated as a couple. The experience lasted about 15 to 20 minutes, but time flowed very slowly, and we were able to see sea turtles and fish up close. We were very satisfied!! During the waiting time, we could have gone snorkeling, but unfortunately, I got seasick and couldn't do it. However, since there are two types of activities available, I highly recommend it!! The timing was from morning to early afternoon, so we were able to enjoy shopping back in Waikiki as well! My husband and I were looking for activities that could be done in half a day, so this tour was perfect for our wishes. I would love to participate again.

15〜20分程度ですがとてもゆっくりとした時間が流れておりウミガメも魚もとても近くで見ることが出来ました。大満足です！！
待ち時間にはシュノーケリングも出来ましたが、
残念なことに私が船酔いしてしまいできなかったのですが2種類のアクティビティが出来るのでとてもオススメです！！
時間は朝から昼過ぎだったので、ワイキキに戻って買い物も楽しめました！私達夫婦も半日で出来るアクティビティを探していたのでこのツアーは私たちの希望にピッタリでした♩
また参加したいです。

I had a hard time figuring out the meeting place, and even when it was time, there was no sign, so I was wandering around the harbor. I was happy about the all-you-can-drink beer, but the cruise distance was too close to Oahu, and there were no whales around here, as expected. It felt a bit overpriced.

集合場所が分からず、時間になっても表示もなくハーバーの周りを右往左往して大変でした。
ビール飲み放題は嬉しかったが、クルーズする距離がオアフに近くこの辺りではクジラはいないでしょという距離で、案の定現れませんでした。ちょっと高い料金に感じました。

Since I was with a small child, they were already happy just to see lots of little fish, but they were even more delighted to see several sea turtles! ✨

小さい子供と一緒だったので、小さい魚がいっぱいいるだけで喜んでいたのですが、海ガメが何匹も見れてさらに大喜びでした✨

I experienced underwater scooters, snorkeling, and paddle boating, and the sea was beautiful with stunning views. It was a valuable experience to see many fish and sea turtles up close. The staff were also friendly and approachable, and there were staff members who spoke Japanese, which made it easy to enjoy the activities. However, since I participated in January, the wind was a bit chilly, so I think it's a good idea to bring a light jacket or a thick towel depending on the season.

水中スクーター＆シュノーケリング＆パドルボートを体験しましたが、海が綺麗で景色もとても良かったです。たくさんの魚やウミガメを間近で見ることができて貴重な体験となりました。またスタッフの方も親切できさくな方が多く日本語の通じるスタッフもいるので安心して楽しむことができました。
ただ私が参加したのが1月ということもあり、風が少し冷たく肌寒く感じたので時期によっては軽く上に羽織るものや厚手のタオルを持って行くといいと思います。

When the submarine dives, it becomes stable and comfortable. There were many fish around the coral reefs and sunken ships, which was enjoyable. Above all, I was thrilled when a sea turtle swam right in front of me—there were several of them! I think this is an experience you can't have often, so I recommend trying it at least once.

潜水艦が潜航すると揺れなくなるので快適です。
魚しょうや沈没船の周りには、多くの魚がいて楽しかったです。なんと言っても突然目の前でホヌが泳いできたのは、感激しました。それも、何匹も。なかなか経験できないと思うので一度体験しましょう。

I had a wonderful experience! The waters in Hawaii aren't very deep, so I was able to enjoy activities without fear. Compared to Japan, the sea was quite blue and beautiful.

What I liked the most was stand-up paddleboarding. I rode on a board floating in the sea, but it was unstable, making it very difficult just to stand. However, the sense of achievement when I managed to stand was incredible, and it felt refreshing. When I participated, the wind was blowing strongly, making it hard to go in the direction I wanted, but it was fun to paddle while riding the waves. The trainers were kind and taught us well, so even beginners can enjoy it!

During this tour, you can chat and laugh with other participants while having fun. Riding a small boat to cut through the wind until we reached the open sea felt great. It's an activity that can be challenging without being overwhelming, tailored to individuals, so I highly recommend it!

素晴らしい経験ができました！ハワイの海はそんなに深くないので、怖くなくアクティビティできました。また、日本と比較してみるとかなり青い海で綺麗でした。
私が気にいったのは、スタンドアップパドルボードです。海に浮かばせたボードに乗るのですが、不安定なので立つだけでも非常に難しかったです。その分立てたときの達成感が凄く、爽快な気分になりました。私が参加したときは風が強く吹いていたので思う方向に進むのは難しかったですが、波に乗ってパドルを漕げたら楽しいです。トレーナーの方々が優しく教えてくれるので、下手な人でも楽しめます！
このツアーでは、他の参加者ともお話ししながら笑いながら遊べます。広い海に出るまで小型のボートに乗って風を切るのも気持ちいいです。個人に合わせて無理なくチャレンジできるアクティビティなのでおすすめです！

"We got no troubles, life is the bubbles, under the sea!" It was inevitable that "Under the Sea" from The Little Mermaid would be playing through my head on this tour. I've always been fascinated by ocean life and would love to someday learn how to scuba dive...but until then, this submarine tour is the perfect--and only--way to explore the world under the sea.
The shuttle out to the dive site not only provided great views of Diamond Head and Waikiki, but also gave us the chance to see exactly where we'd be descending and what part of the bay we'd be exploring.
I've actually done this tour twice and enjoyed it just as much the second time. On both tours we saw sea turtles, star fish, and tons of fish in various shapes, sizes, and colors. During the second tour we also got the chance to see two scuba divers exploring one of the sunken ships.
The crew were all very friendly and knowledgeable and provided lots of interesting facts and details about what we were seeing.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing a completely different world, so unlike what we see every day on land. Take Sabastian's advice and go "under the sea!"

This was my third time participating in whale watching, but unfortunately, there were no signs of them coming to the surface this time.

It was disappointing, but the weather was nice, and I had a great time leisurely watching Waikiki Beach. I felt a bit anxious when I saw black smoke rising from the sea.

I hope to try again next time!

3度目のホエールウォッチングへの参加でしたが、今回はご縁がなく一度も水面に上がってくる気配がありませんでした～

残念でしたが、お天気がよくワイキキビーチをのんびり眺める良い時間でした。
海上より立ち上がる黒い煙を眺めるタイミングにザワザワしてしまいました。

また次回リベンジしたいと思います！

At first, I was worried about whether I would see whales, but once we got out to sea, I was able to see spouts and the tails as they entered the water. I couldn't see the whole whale, but it was great to witness such a dynamic scene.

Additionally, the weather was calm that day, and the sea breeze felt refreshing, washing away my worries.

I opted for breakfast this time, but it felt a bit rushed to grab it before departure, so I didn't really enjoy it leisurely. This was a disappointing aspect, but I plan to skip breakfast next time.

While whales are the main attraction, enjoying the view of Waikiki from the sea while feeling the ocean breeze is also a delight.

はじめはクジラが見れるか不安でしたが、いざ海に出てみると潮吹きや海に入る際の尾びれなどを見ることができました。くじらの全体像は見れませんでしたが、ダイナミックな光景を見れたのはよかったです。
また、この日は風も穏やかで海風が気持ちよく、気持ちを洗い流された感じです。
今回は朝食を付けたのですが、出港前にあわただしく取りにいく感じてゆっくり食べた気はしませんでした。このあたりは残念な点でしたが、次回は朝食無しでお願いするつもりです。
クジラがメインではありますが、海風にあたりながら海からワイキキを見るのも一興です。

I was disappointed that I couldn't see any whales. I tried hard to find them, but I couldn't. I heard that I could get a re-boarding ticket, but there is no transportation provided, and if I don't see any whales next time, I would feel even more disappointed, so I decided not to take the re-boarding ticket.

クジラにあえず残念でした。がんばって探したのですが、見つからず。再乗船券ももらえるようですが、送迎などは無く、次回もクジラに会えなかったらもっと残念に思うので、再乗船券はもらいませんでした。

They jumped beautifully with Diamond Head in the background. I wish they could jump again since we could see it so close to the land.

ダイヤモンドヘッドをバックにして綺麗にジャンプしてくれました。あんなに陸の近くで見れるなんて、もう一回ジャンプしてほしかった。

The weather was calm, and the boat seemed to be less crowded, allowing us to enjoy it leisurely.

We encountered dolphins along the way, but unfortunately, we didn't see any whales.

I had heard that this time of year has a high chance of seeing them, so that was a bit disappointing...

I often go to Hawaii during summer vacation, but this time I decided to go in January for the first time, so I participated in a whale watching cruise to see the winter whales. It was a cloudy day with strong winds and high waves, which might be why the whales were not showing up. The captain announced that we would be turning back today, and the boat started to head back.

Then, from the other side, there was a cheer! Surprisingly, a whale was spouting water! And even its large tail fin! The boat made another U-turn to get closer to the whale. I'm grateful to the kind captain.

ハワイは夏休みに行くことが多く、今回はじめて１月に行くことになったので、冬のくじらに会いたいとホエールウォッチングクルーズに参加しました。この日は曇り空で風も強く、波が高かったせいかなかなか鯨が出てきてくれず、キャプテンから今日はUターンするとのアナウンスがあり船は引き返すことに。
そこへ反対側からなにやら歓声が！なんと、鯨が潮を吹いているではありませんか！そして大きな尾びれまで！
船はもう一度Uターンして鯨のそばまで行ってくれました。やさしいキャプテンに感謝です。

We will travel by boat until we board the submarine. The weather was clear, and I truly felt the essence of Hawaii with the stunning scenery. The boat had restrooms and air conditioning.
We will transfer from the boat to the submarine on the water.
Inside the submarine, there were two rows of benches in the center, facing the windows from the bow to the stern. It didn't feel cramped.
However, the view from the crucial windows was disappointing. I could hardly see anything. The visibility was about 15 meters, and there were only a few moments when fish were visible. I did see a sunken fighter jet and a shipwreck on the seabed.
Including waiting and travel time, you should plan for about three hours. Additionally, it costs over 10,000 yen per person.
It might be better to consider other activities.

潜水艦に乗るまで、船で移動します。晴天で、大変素晴らしい光景に　ハワイらしさを実感しました。船には、トイレも有り、冷房も有りました。
海上で　船から潜水艦に乗りかえます。
潜水艦の内部は、中央にベンチが二列　船首から船尾まで　背中合わせに　窓に向かって設置してありました。窮屈感は無かったです。
肝心な窓からの景色は、期待外れでした。　ほとんど　何も見えません。視界は15m程度でその中に魚がいる時間は、ほんのわずかでした。海底に沈む戦闘機や沈没船は見れました。
待ち時間や移動時間を含めると3時間は見ておく必要が有ります。　また、一人1万円を超えます。　
他のアクティビティを検討した方が良いかもしれません。

I participated in a submarine tour for the first time this time. Exploring the seabed in the submarine was beautiful and fun. It was a great tour where I even got to see sea turtles.

今回初めての潜水艦ツアーに参加させてもらいました。
潜水艦での海底探索は、景色が綺麗で楽しかったです。
海亀にもあえて良いツアーでした。

Disappointed to not see any whales, dolphins, pretty marine fish. Captain should skip the corny puns. Beautiful boat ride but not as advertised.

This was my second time participating, and while I was already moved during the first experience, this time it exceeded my expectations and I was extremely satisfied. I was able to see a large group of dolphins up close multiple times and even swim alongside them. I could hear their calls as well. I also got a clear view of whales from the boat, and I'm really glad I participated. It was a lucky day.

二回目の参加でしたが、前回でも感動したのに、それを上回る感動の嵐で大満足でした。
イルカは大群で何度も身近で見れたし、平行して泳げました。鳴き声も聞こえました。
クジラも船から近くではっきり姿が見れて、本当に参加して良かったです。

I had requested a shuttle to the Sheraton Waikiki. I was there 20 minutes early, but even when the time came, I wasn't called. When I asked someone who was there, I was told that the bus had already left. I've participated in various tours, and usually, they call out names loudly. I immediately called Sea Life, but they said, "There's nothing we can do," and gave up. In the end, I had to take a taxi and paid $60 out of my own pocket. I tried to change my mood and went to the dolphin touch area, but I felt disappointed again. Paying $200 per person for that experience is unacceptable! I absolutely cannot recommend this program‼️ I think going to a natural sea for dolphin watching would be much more enjoyable.

シェラトンワイキキまでの送迎を頼んでいました。
20分前にはその場所にいましたが、時間になっても呼ばれず、私の方からそこにいた人に声をかけたら、もうバスは出発したとの事。
色んなツアーに参加しましたが、普通は大声で名前を呼ぶはず。
すぐにシーライフに電話をしましたが、"私達ではどうにもなりません"と、匙を投げられました。
結局タクシーを使って自腹で60ドルを払いました。
気分を切り替えて、イルカをタッチする場所に行って、また残念な気持ちになりました。
一人200ドルを支払って、あれはないです！
このプログラムは絶対オススメ出来ません‼️
まだ自然な海に行っての、イルカウォッチングの方が断然楽しめると思います。

I went with a second grader and a preschooler. It was a wonderful tour. A woman who spoke Japanese kindly explained various things to us. On the boat to the submarine, we saw one turtle and three whales very close by. The way the submarine appeared was very dramatic. After diving, we encountered sharks, turtles swimming side by side, and pufferfish, and on the way back, we clearly saw the tail of a whale right next to our boat.

小学2年生と年中さんと行きました。とても素晴らしいツアーでした。日本語を話せる女の人がとても親切に色々説明もしてくれました。
潜水艇に乗るまでの船で、すぐ近くに亀1匹、鯨3頭いました。潜水艇の登場の仕方もとてもドラマチックでした。沈んでからサメや並んで泳ぐ亀、河豚などにも出会え、また帰りの船のすぐ横で、鯨の尻尾がはっきり見えました。

It's understandable since it's the rainy season, but the weather was bad and the boat was really rocky. I feel like I missed out on lunch because I couldn't eat anything. I was also disappointed that I couldn't see any whales.
