The dolphins were really cute, and I'm glad I did it!
But it was a bit expensive...
I thought it was quite a rip-off to pay $56 for just five photos.

Good experinace esspecially for those who are afraid of diving. You can see different species of fishes, nice trip, not long not to short. However if you have see deasease please take medicine

We had a great time! Everyone saw 3-4 8 to 10 foot sharks! Would sure do again!

We had our wedding three years ago. We attended with our child (who is now 2 years old). Our child was a little surprised and cried during the first kiss with the dolphin, but we had a great time. There were also athletic activities, and we were able to spend plenty of time there. It was a program we could participate in with peace of mind. Thank you very much.

３年前に挙式。その後授かった子供（２歳）をつれての参加。イルカと初めてのチューでちょっぴり驚いて泣いちゃったけど。アスレチックもあり、十分に時間を過ごせました。

We had a wonderful time! Spending time with a dolphin was a great experience.

It was my first time interacting directly with a dolphin. Just being in the same pool made me feel excited, and at first, I was a bit hesitant to touch it. The instructors were very friendly and made it enjoyable. Overall, the fun interactions were in English, but they provided important information in Japanese. Even if you can't speak any English, a Japanese person will explain everything at the beginning. Once you're in the pool, I think you can just watch what others are doing and follow along without any issues. For anyone who even slightly likes dolphins, this will surely be a wonderful memory!

Additionally, since it was a weekday, the park was not crowded, and we could take our time enjoying it.

イルカと直接触れ合うのは、初めての経験でした。同じプールの中にいるだけで、なんだかドキドキして最初は触れるのも気を遣ってしまったけれど。インストラクターの方々も、とても気さくで楽しかったです。全体的にオモシロイやりとりなどは英語ですが、肝心なところは日本語で言葉をかけてくれました。全く英語が話せなくても、最初の説明は日本人の方が説明してくださいます。プールに入ってからは、周りの方々のする様子を見て同じようにやれば特に問題はないと思います。イルカを少しでも好きな方にとっては、とってもいい思い出になるはずです！
おまけに、平日だったのでパーク全体が空いていて、ゆっくり過ごせました♪

I had a precious experience swimming with dolphins. It was a bit expensive, but I felt it was worth it. You can enjoy watching the dolphin show and there are various activities since the ocean is right in front of you.

すこし高かったですが、行ってよかったと思いました。
イルカショーを見たり、海も目も前にあるのでいろいろと楽しめます。

no where long enough for the cost. not really a lot to see.

I participated on April 17, 2013. The weather was great, and I was able to swim with over 100 dolphins! I also saw about two sea turtles, and to my surprise, I was able to see a whale from the boat, which I thought was out of season. I felt like I had been saving my luck for this moment since I hadn't been very lucky lately.

One group probably had around 20 to 30 dolphins, and I went into the water three times, encountering them twice. I swam with four or five groups, so there might have been around 150 dolphins in total. It was just so lucky.

Our guide, Minako, was very clear in her explanations and had a bright personality, which was wonderful. I forgot the name, but Captain Papa? also took us accurately to the points, and during the whale watching, he kindly waited on the spot from when we dove until we surfaced.

My mother, who was with me, decided to stay on the boat at one point, saying, "I don't want to go in the water anymore today," but Minako frequently encouraged her not to push herself, so she was able to rest without hesitation. Since it was a tour with many entries, quite a few people chose to rest on the boat during the second session (snorkeling at the tropical fish and sea turtle points).

Even though the weather was nice, we had been snorkeling for quite a while, so it got quite cold, and the warm tea we received on the boat was much appreciated. The snacks were also quite delicious. I devoured a cinnamon pastry and cheese. I was a bit concerned about the calories in the cereal bar, so I took it home.

I really had a great time. I definitely want to take my husband, who stayed home this time, with me next time.

2013/4/17に参加しました。
お天気にも恵まれ、なんと100頭を超すイルカと泳ぐことができました！
ウミガメも2頭ほど見ることができ、おまけに時期が終わったかと思われたクジラも船の上から見ることができました。最近何かとツイていなかったので、「このために運をとっていたのか？」と思うほどでした。

ひとつの群れがたぶん2,30頭で、3回海に入って2回遭遇、4、5グループと一緒に泳ぐことができたので、もしかすると150頭くらいかもです。とにかくラッキーでした。

ガイドのミナコさんの説明はわかりやすく、明るい人柄でとても良かったです。お名前を忘れてしまったのですが、キャプテンパパ？もポイントまで的確に連れて行って下さり、ホエールの時も潜ってから浮き上がるまでその場で待機してくださるなど、親切でした。

同行の母が途中、「ちょっと今日はもう水に入りたくない」と船上に残っていたのですが、無理しないで～とミナコさんが頻繁におっしゃってくださっていたので、遠慮せず休むことができました。エントリー回数の多いツアーだったので、2時限目（熱帯魚やウミガメのポイントでのシュノーケル）はさすがに船上でお休みされる方が多かったです。

良いお天気と言えども、結構な時間シュノーケルしていたので冷えてしまい、船上でいただいた温かいお茶はありがたかったです。スナックも結構おいしかったです。シナモン系の菓子パンとチーズぺろりと食べてしまいました。シリアルバーはさすがにカロリーが気になって持ち帰りました。

本当に楽しかったです。
今度はお留守番してもらった夫もぜひ連れて行きたいと思いました。

This is my sixth time in Hawaii! I've wanted to join this tour for a while, and I finally participated this time.

Once we arrived at the port, we put on our wetsuits and immediately boarded the boat. The water temperature is low during this season, and the boat is fast, so being exposed to the wind the whole time was quite cold. Renting a wetsuit for $10 was definitely the right choice. By the way, everyone in the group rented one (laughs).

We set sail and searched for about two hours. Ultimately, we headed north up to just before the North Shore, but there was no sign of dolphins, and everyone was getting tired.

At that moment, we encountered a whale! It's rare to see one at this time of year. Everyone was thrilled by this unexpected encounter.

So, what about the dolphins? We received information from another boat that they were near the port! It was a case of "right under the lighthouse." We quickly headed south and managed to meet the dolphins. Depending on the day, there can be hundreds of them, but there were only a few on this day. However, I was really glad to see them clearly with my own eyes and to swim close to them.

After that, we moved to a snorkeling point and got to swim with about five sea turtles. They came close enough to touch.

The staff's energy was incredibly high throughout, so if you're not a fan of that kind of lively student-like atmosphere, it might be a bit overwhelming. Also, it's quite intense, so I don't think it's suitable for those who lack physical stamina or for older individuals. It really drains your energy.

I wonder if it varies by day? I've heard there are days when they can be found easily, which might make it easier. We had quite a struggle finding them. When we finally spotted them, it was like "Let's go!" and everyone jumped in at once (there were also people from other companies), so it got crowded, and I ended up getting kicked by someone’s fin.

But it all became a great memory.

ハワイは６回目！前からこのツアーに参加してみたく、今回ついに参加してきました。

港についたら、ウェットスーツを着用しすぐに船に乗り込みます。
この時期は水温も低いし、船は高速ですのでずーと風にさらされ寒いので借りて
大正解。有料で１０ドルです。ちなみに参加者の全員が借りていました（笑）

出航して、２時間くらい？？探し回りました。最終的にはノースショアの手前まで
北上し探しましたがイルカ先生は全くいる気配がなく、みんなお疲れモード。

そんな時に、クジラに遭遇！この時期にいるのは珍しいとのこと。
思わぬ出会いにみんな喜んでいました。

で、イルカ先生は？仲間の船から、港の近くにいるとの情報が！灯台下暗しですかね。
いっきに南下し、なんとかイルカ先生に会うことができました。
日によっては何百匹といるそうですが、この日は数頭でした。
しかしこの目でハッキリと見ることができたし、近くで泳ぐことができて本当に
良かったです。

その後はシュノーケルポイントに移動して、亀大教授と泳ぐこともできました。
５匹くらいいましたよ。触れるくらい近くまで来てくれました。

スタッフのテンションが終始バカ高いので、そういう学生ノリの賑やかなのが苦手な方は苦痛かも？
しかも結構なスパルタなので、体力に自信のない方、高齢の方には向いてないと思います。ものすごく体力を消耗します。

日によるのかな？？すぐに見つかる日もあるらしいから、そういう日は楽チンなのかも。私達はなかなか見つからず苦労しましたからね。
みつかった瞬間、それいけーーーーって感じで、みんなが一斉に飛び込み（他の会社の連中もいるから）混みあっていて、前の人のフィンで蹴られる始末です。

でも全部がいい想い出になりました。

I also do diving, but it's hard to get close to them in the ocean.
Being able to get so close, actually petting their bellies, kissing them, and swimming together felt like a dream.

I want to go see them again.

This time, in addition to the dolphins, I also did shark watching.
At first, I was a bit scared, but seeing the hammerhead shark up close was incredibly impressive.

私は、ダイビングもするのですが、海の中では中々近づけないし、
こんなに近づいて、実際にお腹なでたり、キスしたり、一緒におよいだり、
夢のようでした。

また、会いに行きたいです。

今回はイルカに加えシャークウォッチもしました。
最初は、ちょっとビビりましたが、真近にみたハンマーヘッドシャークは大迫力でした。

Great time on the ocean. We saw both dolphins and whales and the weather was perfect.

Last May, when I went to Hawaii, I went on a dolphin tour, and this time I decided to go see whales. I went this year. The boat was large, and I didn't feel seasick, so it was comfortable. We were able to see whales off the coast of Waikiki. We caught glimpses of their backs a few times. Unfortunately, we didn't see any jumps or big tails, but I was moved by my first encounter with whales. If I get the chance again, I would like to challenge myself to go in the middle of winter.

昨年5月にハワイに行った時イルカのツアーに行って次はクジラを見に行こうということで今年行ってきました。船は大きくて船酔いもなく快適。ワイキキ沖でクジラを見ることができました。背中の一部が数回。流石にジャンプとか大きな尻尾は見ることはできませんでしたが、初めてのクジラ遭遇には感動しました。また機会があれば、真冬にチャレンジしたいと思います。

If your thinking of watching whales in Oahu look no further! Do not be fooled by the big excursions with hundreds of other whale watchers obscuring your view. This trip is exactly as described. Very personal crew who clearly love their work along with a great boat. We enjoyed many sightings including an extremely close up encounter which will stay with us forever. Thank you.

Fortunately, the weather was nice (though the wind was really strong), and we were able to see a few whales. However, it was indeed difficult to capture them with my iPhone. In the photos, they appear distant, but in reality, they were a bit closer. Filming was also challenging because it was hard to predict where the whales would appear. I missed several opportunities to actually see them because I was so focused on filming. At first, there were announcements indicating the direction to look, but by the time we were heading back, there were no announcements. Just before we arrived, we spotted a whale near the shore, but it's unclear how many people noticed it. There were free activities like lei-making and ukulele lessons on the first floor of the boat, so most people participated. My sister and I didn't join and were on the second or third floor, just gazing out at the sea. I think it was mentioned that the Star of Honolulu tends to sway, but I didn't get seasick. Since the meal wasn't included, we freely ate what we had bought at the supermarket. To be honest, I wished I could have seen more whales jumping out of the water. Lastly, I believe the shuttle service would have cost an extra $12, so we took The Bus number 19 to the event location. On the way back, there was a bus stop very close by, so we were able to return smoothly. (The return bus also had signs indicating stops at Ala Moana Center and Waikiki Beach.)

幸い天気にも恵まれ（風は凄く強かったが）クジラも少しみれた。ただiPhoneで撮影するのはやはり難しい。写真で見ると離れて見えるが実際はもう少し距離が近かった。ビデオ撮影もどこから出現してくるかわからないので、撮影が厳しかった。また撮影に夢中で実際に目でみる機会を何度か失ってしまった。始めのうちはアナウンスで何時の方向に見えると教えてくれるが、帰る頃はアナウンスがない。到着間際に岸の近くにクジラを発見した。ただ気づいた人がどれだけいるかは不明。無料でレイ作りやウクレレなど船の1Fで開催していたので、大抵の人たちが参加していた。私たち姉妹は参加せず2Fだったか3Fだったか?!にいて、海をぼーっと眺めていた。スターオブホノルル号は揺れやすいと掲載されていた気がするが、船酔いもしなかった。食事付きでなかったので、スーパーで買って来た物を自由に食べていた。欲を言えばもっとクジラが海の上に飛び跳ねてる姿を見たかったのが本音です。最後に送迎付きだとプラス$12くらいするはずだったので、ザ・バスの19番に乗って開催場所まで行った。帰りもすぐ近くにバス亭があるので、スムーズに帰れた。（帰りのバスもアラモアナセンターやワイキキビーチ行きとバスに表示が出ていたはず）

It was a very impressive ship, and I was excited from the start! The leisurely cruise was very pleasant, and the captain pointed out the direction where we could see the whales, so we didn't miss the opportunity to see them. We were able to see multiple whales, and they put on various performances, leaving me in awe during my first whale watching experience!

とても立派な船で、最初からテンションが上がりました！
のんびりとクルーズする時間はとても心地よく、
船長さん？が、クジラの見える方角を言ってくださるので、タイミングを逃すことなく
見ることができました。
クジラも複数見ることができ、いろんなパフォーマンスを見せてくれ、
初めてのホエールウォッチングで感動しっぱなしでした！

Overall, this place is mainly about interacting with dolphins. It is well thought out, and if you love dolphins, I think you'll be very satisfied. The scale as a marine theme park is not very large, so you might find yourself with some free time before the bus departs. If possible, visiting by rental car might help you make better use of your time.

You can't bring cameras into the dolphin interaction pool, so you'll need to purchase photos and videos, but they take beautiful pictures, making the seemingly high cost of the photos feel worthwhile. However, it is still expensive.

とにもかくにもイルカとの触れ合いがメインの場所。それ自体はよく考えられていてイルカが好きならとても満足出来ると思う。海洋テーマパークとして規模もあまり大きくなく、帰りのバスの出発まで時間を持て余すかも。出来ればレンタカーで訪れた方が時間を有効に使えるかもしれない。
イルカと触れあうプールにはカメラを持ち込めないので写真やビデオは購入することになるが、綺麗な写真を撮ってくれるので高いと感じる写真代も惜しくはない感じはする。が、やはり高い。

It's great that you can ride on a real submarine and enjoy the view of Waikiki from offshore during the transfer to the submarine. However, the underwater scenery from the submarine wasn't as impressive as I had hoped. The staff were all friendly and pleasant. After the tour, I was informed that there was a free shuttle to Ala Moana, which I decided to use, but it came with the condition of visiting a coral jewelry store... If you're interested in coral jewelry, it might be worth it, but if you're not, it's better not to take it to avoid wasting time.

本物の潜水艦に乗れる、潜水艦までの移動で沖合からワイキキを眺められるといった所が良い。
潜水艦からの海底の風景は期待したほどではない。スタッフは皆親切で好感が持てる。
終了後にアラモアナまでのフリーシャトルに乗せてくれると説明されて利用してみたが、珊瑚のジュエリー販売店での見学が条件だった・・・。珊瑚のジュエリーに興味があれば別だが、興味ない人は利用しない方が時間を無駄にしない。

I think there are seasonal factors involved, but I was able to see the whale's spout and tail, which looked small. I was very happy to see the dolphins up close instead of the whales! ★

時期的な問題もあると思いますが、くじらの潮吹きやしっぽが小さく見れました。

It was very good. We used the shuttle from Aulani on February 27 with four children and three adults. We had a lot of fun. I recommend it. There were events on the boat, such as hula dance and ukulele workshops, which were enjoyable. It was unfortunate that the hula dance instructor felt sick from seasickness. However, the boat didn't sway as much as I expected. I think the lunch was reasonably priced.

Perhaps it was the right season, as we were able to see whales multiple times. Also, it was great to see Waikiki and Diamond Head from the ocean perspective, as I had never seen them that way before.

In any case, the children were happy, and I highly recommend it!

とても良かったです．アウラニからの送迎で，子供４人大人３人で２月２７日に利用させていただきました．とても楽しかったです．お薦めです．舟の中では，フラダンスやウクレレの講習会などのイベントがあり，楽しませていただきました．フラダンスの先生が船酔いで具合悪かったのが，残念でした．とは行っても，舟は思ったほど揺れてませんでした．お昼の食事は，値段相応かと思います．
時季が良かったのでしょうか，クジラを何度も見られました．また，ワイキキとダイアモンドヘッドを海からの角度から見たことがなかったので，これもまた良かったです．
とにかく，子供も喜んでいましたし，お薦めです！！

The morning started off with a leisurely pickup, and the bus was comfortable. The boat was very clean, making it enjoyable for families, couples, and friends alike!

I had heard in a post that we might only see small whales, so I honestly approached it with a cruising mindset, but we were fortunate enough to see mother and baby whales jumping one after another!

The lunch was delicious, and the afternoon workshops, including ukulele, hula, and lei-making, were fun and enjoyed by everyone.

At the end, they asked if there were any birthday celebrants or newlyweds, and when the honeymooners gathered in front, they sang Hawaiian songs with a guitar, creating a wonderful time for everyone to celebrate.

I highly recommend it!

投稿で『小さい鯨の姿が見える程度』と聞いていたので、正直
クルージング感覚で行きましたが、鯨の親子が次々にジャンプ！

とても恵まれていました。

ランチも美味しいし、午後のワークショップもウクレレ、フラ、レイ作りと
楽しく皆満喫していました。

最後には誕生日の方か新婚さんはいますかー？前に出てーっと言われて、
ハネムーナーが前に集まると、ギターでハワイアンソングを歌ってくれて、
みんなで祝福する素敵な時間となりました。

本当におすすめですよー

The ocean in Hawaii was beautiful. I have also been on Atlantis in Guam, but I feel like the ocean was clearer in Hawaii. I was able to see turtles too!

ハワイの海、きれいでした。グアムでもアトランティスに乗ったことがあるのですが、

In March, there is a high probability of seeing whales raising their young near Diamond Head, so I decided to join the tour. During the first trip, I spotted a spout and moved the boat closer, but I couldn't observe anything further. However, this tour offers a free reschedule if you don't see anything, so I participated again for a second chance. During the second trip, I saw about 20 spouts, around 20 tail flukes, and three dives, so I was very satisfied with the experience. I would like to join again.

3月はかなりの確率でダイヤモンドヘッド付近において子育て中のくじらを見ることができるということで参加しました。１回目は潮吹きを確認し船を進めるもののそれ以上の観測はできませんでした。しかし、このツアーは見れないときは無料で次回の振替権をくれたので、リベンジをすべく２回目に参加しました。２回目では潮吹き20回くらい、尾びれも20回くらい、ダイビングも３回ととても旺盛に動いてくれたので大満足でした。
また、参加したいと思います。

My family is in town visiting so we decided to take a trip to North Shore for the day and found an awesome whale watch tour to partake in! Once we left the harbor we saw a few whales breaching out in the distance, but unfortunately we were not going out that far.

We stayed in about a mile or two offshore and let the whales come to us, and we saw quite a few up close. While none were jumping or dancing too close, there were a lot out that day and we could see some on all sides of the boat enjoying the sunshine, like us! All in all, a great day and a fun time on a beautiful boat, the perfect way to show visitors the aloha spirit.

I had so much fun watching the whales that I lost track of time. I want to go again. Next time, I will bring binoculars. However, when it was time to take the bus back, I was late getting off the boat, so I had to look for the bus.

We went as a family. We decided to go because we could interact with dolphins, and it was a wonderful experience. We departed from a certain hotel’s meeting point, and it was easy to find the designated bus. However, the information on the bus was mostly in English, so it might be a bit challenging for those who are not comfortable with the language. Once we arrived at the site, there were staff members who spoke Japanese, so you can feel at ease. The pool was deeper than I expected, and although we wore life jackets, younger children from kindergarten to early elementary school may not be able to touch the bottom, so they need to be supported by an adult. The instructor provided very thorough explanations in mostly English. They let us interact with the dolphins, and it was a lot of fun. The kids were thrilled. I definitely want to go again.

家族で行ってみました。
イルカが触れ合うことが出来るということで行ってみたのですが、非常に良い経験が出来ました。某ホテルの集合場所から行ったのですが、指定のバスはすぐ分かったのですが、バスの中でのインフォメーションは、ほぼ英語の為、苦手な方は、少し辛いかも知れません。現地に着くと日本語を話すスタッフがおりますので安心して下さい。プールは思ったより深く、ライフジャケットは着るものの、幼稚園～小学生の低学年程度だと足が付かないため、引率者が支えている必要があります。プールの中では、インストラクターの方が非常に丁寧に説明をしてくれます。ほぼ英語です。そしてイルカと触れ合わせてくれるのですが、とても楽しめます。子供も大喜びでした。また、是非行きたいと思います。

The sea turtles were great.

My wife had visited in 2005, and on her recommendation, I took our children for our first visit. Compared to 2005, there were more staff who could speak Japanese, which made us feel at ease while playing. The kids were thrilled to interact with the dolphins. The DVD we had taken while playing with the dolphins was reasonably priced and the content was satisfying.

カミさんは2005年にも訪れた事があり、その勧めで僕と子供たちは初めて訪問しました。
2005年と比べ日本語対応のスタッフが増えていて、安心して遊ぶことができました。
子供たちもイルカとのふれあいに大喜びでした。
イルカと遊んでいるときに撮ってもらったDVDは、良心的な価格で、内容も満足いくものでした。

Since nature is the main factor, I didn't have overly high expectations, but I was able to see many whales and dolphins. I think I was just lucky. The price was also reasonable, and I was very satisfied. Additionally, I had no issues with seasickness, which was my biggest concern.

自然が前提なのであまり過度な期待はしなかったのですが、鯨も、そしてイルカもたくさん見ることができました。たまたまラッキーだったんだと思います。
お値段も安かったし、大満足です。
そして一番心配だった船酔いも全く問題ありませんでした。
