I participated with Pacific Star.

I wasn't confident about getting there on my own, so I requested a shuttle service. When I arrived a little earlier than the meeting time, there were already groups gathering. I was given a sticker and instructed to place it on my chest, which seemed to indicate the course I would be participating in.

While on the bus to the venue, an orientation video was playing, and it was easy to understand as it was in three languages, including Japanese. Upon arrival, there were staff members at various points leading to the boarding area, greeting us with smiles, which was very pleasant.

Now, regarding the seating, my seat on the Pacific Star was right in front of the kitchen on the lowest level (laughs). The windows were not well cleaned, and there was constant traffic of people coming in and out of the kitchen, making it difficult to enjoy the view or atmosphere. For the buffet, we had to stand in line outside the windows where the higher-ranked guests were seated, waiting our turn while being watched by those inside. Honestly, I regretted this part (laughs) — this is the meaning behind the title.

However, the food itself was delicious, and I was satisfied with being able to see the show up close and even experience hula dancing. Watching the sunset from the upper deck while feeling the sea breeze was absolutely wonderful!

After watching the sunset, when I returned to my seat, the show resumed. This was the main event. They showcased various ethnic dances from around Hawaii and Polynesia (though I can't be certain as it was all in English). The final part where everyone danced in a circle was a bit confusing, but it was also fun!

If I participate again, I would like to join at a higher rank than Pacific Star. ^_^

現地まで自分で行く自信がなくて送迎を依頼しました。集合時間より少し早めに行くと団体様が集まってました。シールを渡され胸に貼るように指示。参加するコースを判別するものの様です。

現地に着くまでバスの中ではオリエンテーションのビデオが流れていましたが、日本語を含む3ヶ国語で流れていてわかりやすかったです。
現地に着くと乗船口まで各所に係の方が立たれていて笑顔で挨拶してくれるのでとても感じかよかったです。

さて肝心の席ですが、パシフィックスターの席は最下層のキッチンの目の前（笑）窓も掃除が行き届いておらず、ひっきりなしにキッチンから人の出入りがあり、景色や雰囲気を楽しむということは難しいです。ブッフェも上のランクの方々が座ってる席の窓の外、廊下に列になって立ち、中の人たちに見られながら自分の番を待つという状態でここまでは正直後悔しかありませんでした（笑）これがタイトルの意味です。

ただ、食事自体は美味しく、またショーも間近で見られ、フラダンスの体験もできたりこの点は満足のいくものでしたし、サンセットの時には上の階に上がり海風を感じながら夕日が沈むのを見ることができたのは大大大満足でした！

夕日を見た後、座席に戻るとショーが再開されていました。というかここからが本番。ハワイ周辺やポリネシア(終始英語だったので定かではありませんが)など様々な地域の民族的ダンスをたくさん見せてくれます。最後みんなで輪になって踊らされるのはやや意味不明でしたが、それも楽しかったです！

次回もし自分が参加するとすれば、パシフィックスターより上のランクで参加したいですね^_^

I definitely recommend experiencing a Hawaiian show if you come to Hawaii. I'm satisfied with the all-you-can-eat option at this price. It was fun when the grandmother from the family at the next table, who came from California, casually talked to us.

It's a very enjoyable show that feels like a time slip back to my youth. The handsome Elvis, even though I knew he was an impersonator, drew me in as if he were the real Elvis. Next was Michael, who embodies my own youth! I found myself naturally moving to the rhythm and singing along.

As for the food, it was centered around meat dishes with flavors that suit Japanese tastes. I must admit, I wasn't expecting much from the buffet at a Hawaiian event, but the food was very satisfying.

At the end of the show, there was a photo opportunity with the performers! I got to take pictures with everyone and was so excited. I will definitely participate again next time.

青春時代にタイムスリップしたようなとても楽しいショ－です。
イケメンのエルビス、なんだかそっくりさんとわかっていても、本物のエルビスと勘違いしてい引き込まれてしまいました。
つぎにマイケル、私自身の青春時代そのもの！自然に体がリズムをとり、いっしょに口ずさんでいる自分に気づきました。
食事ですが、肉料理が中心で日本人の口に合う味付けされており、失礼ですがハワイのイベントビュッフェの料理と期待しておりませんでしたが、とても満足できる料理でした。

Second time! 2回目！

My first participation was included in the tour. However, I had a bitter memory from that time, so I participated again for a revenge. The course content was incomparable to the last time (though it's not fair to compare it to the tour course). There was space between the seats, and the service was quite good. It seems that the course content varies by floor on the ship. From the food, live performances, singing, to dancing, the quality definitely improves with the grade. In June, I noticed many Japanese newlywed couples. I was able to enjoy a luxurious time.

1度目の参加は、ツアーに盛り込まれていました。
ただ、その時の苦い思い出があるので、リベンジで2回目の参加をしました。コース内容も前回の時とは比較にならない(ツアーコースと比較しても仕方ないのですが)内容でした。
席と席との間隔もあり、サービスもかなり良かったです。
船のフロア毎に、コース内容が違うような感じがします。
お料理、生演奏、生歌、ダンスから、やはりグレードが上がればそれなりに、、、。
6月の季節柄、日本人の新婚カップルを多く見受けました。

This was such an awesome afternoon/evening! Started off with a great tour bus hostess, really funny lady, and when we got to the beautiful Paradise Cove locations we were greeted with Mai Tai's. From there we were shown how to do a Hula dance, watched a ripped as guy climb like a monkey up a coconut palm, how to traditionally fish and cook the pig. There was an awesome buffet meal whilst we were treated to all different styles of Polynesian dances and songs. Drink prices were cheap for amazing cocktails, and overall such a lovely evening. Would highly recommend!

I participated in the Terrace Luau Buffet & Show. The bright and hospitable staff made it enjoyable, and the food was to the taste of Japanese people. It was delicious.

As for the show seating, I had the best seats in the front row, center on the second floor, which allowed me to see the entire stage, and I was very satisfied. I think I was able to sit in such a good spot because I moved quickly after the meal when the venue opened.

Personally, I thought the male performer in the fire dance was the best. I have seen fire dances a few times in the past, but this man's performance was powerful, wonderful, and flawless, which was very moving. I was happy to shake hands and take a photo with him during the greeting on the way out. I couldn't help but say, "You are NO.1!" and he responded with a special smile, saying "Oh!"

I used this cruise for my honeymoon. A friend who went to Hawaii recommended it, so I decided to join. Since I had already eaten a lot of delicious food on other days, I thought a buffet-only course would be fine, so I chose the cheapest option.

A bus picked us up from the hotel and took us to the port. Before boarding the ship, we were welcomed by dancers and live music. I thought we would be able to take a photo with the captain, but it turned out that those on the cheapest course were not allowed to do so. There was also no lei service, so I regretted not buying one.

The guest rooms for the cheapest course were noticeably different. Compared to the others, they felt a bit dim and lacked a sense of luxury. The next level up didn't seem to have that issue.

There was a man providing live music, two boys who were both dancers and waiters, and one hula girl. We could freely go out onto the deck, so we enjoyed the sunset. The food was quite tasty! I regretted not choosing the next level up for my honeymoon, but I could really feel the effort from the waiters and dancers, which made it a lot of fun. At one point, passengers joined in the dancing, and by the end, we were all dancing to YMCA and Gangnam Style, experiencing a joy that is hard to find in Japan.

Since it was the cheapest course, there were a lot of young people, and the atmosphere was really lively. However, I would recommend the second cheapest course or higher to those who are going in the future.

バスがホテルまで迎えに来てくれて港へ。船に乗り込む前にダンサーや生演奏でお出迎え。キャプテンと写真を撮らせてもらえると思ってましたが、一番安いコースの人は撮らせてもらえませんでした。。。。レイのサービスもなかったので、せっかくだから買っていけばよかったです。客室も一番安いコースのところだけあからさまに様子が違いました(^_^;)他と比べてなんだか薄暗いし高級感はありません。１つ上のコースはそんなことなさそうでした。
生演奏をしてくれるおじさんと、ダンサーとウェイターを兼任の男の子が2人、フラガールが１人いました。
デッキには自由に出れるので夕暮れを楽しみました。
料理は普通に美味しかったです！せっかくの新婚旅行だし１つ上のコースにすればよかったなぁと後悔しましたが、ウェイターさんもダンサーさんも一生懸命やってくれてる感じが伝わってすごく楽しくなってきました。途中からダンスに乗客も混ざり、最終的にはみんなでYMCAやカンナムスタイル、アメリカの若者の躍りを躍って日本ではなかなか味わえない楽しさを満喫できました。
いちばん安いコースなだけに若い人が多くて盛り上がりはすごかったです。
でもこれから行く人には2番目に安いコース以上をおすすめするかな～。

I had a great experience with the cruise and the live music and hula show. Each person receives two drink tickets. I ordered champagne and cake, but I ended up taking them home instead of enjoying them there. Maybe I didn't need them. The food portions were surprisingly similar to a Japanese course meal, which is rare in Hawaii.

I'm really glad I participated in this dinner cruise! The food was delicious, and the view from the boat was very beautiful. However, the spacing between the tables was a bit too tight, and I was nervous about bumping into the person next to me! The staff also made an effort to entertain us, which was great.

Best Time Ever

This is far the best show we attended in Hawaii. I hate to see the same shows but this one we will definitely go back and see again. I would highly recommend getting a tour guide to make your experience that much better. Place is huge and will need at least 2 days to see all the villages.

Night show left me speechless and in Awe. I didn't want to end and didn't blink once. Great performers and comedy show.

We found this activity by recommendation from local tour guide. At first i was hesitant about seeing this show as I seen similar shows in the past. We purchased the dinner/cocktail show and far by best best dinner show i had. Food was great and live dance entertainment made the dinner that much better. We got to meet great people as its a group setting.

As we entered the main show we we're delighted by the setting arrangement as all the seats had a great view of the stage. All the performers interacted with the audience that made the show even better.

We enjoyed the photo opportunities with the performers after show.

Before the main show, we started with the buffet. While enjoying a small-scale hula dance performed by two or three cast members accompanied by ukulele music, we had our meal at a somewhat cramped terrace seat.

The main dish was a whole roasted pig, which was warm and quite delicious.

After finishing our meal, we moved to the main show venue. They guide you to your seats.

The stage featured Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and Katy Perry, along with fire dancing and more. While there wasn't much consistency, the incredible amount of practice, high level of performance, and above all, the energy were so impressive that I found myself captivated before I knew it. I don't know much about Elvis due to my generation, but he performed some famous songs that I've at least heard of, and he was incredibly talented, so it wasn't a problem at all. Moreover, he came down to the audience to shake hands, which made the older ladies in the crowd cheer with excitement.

Each performance was outstanding, but the fire dance was particularly amazing, so I highly recommend experiencing its intensity in person.

Before seeing it, I was a bit skeptical thinking, "What is this impersonator show...?" but it turned out to be a genuinely wonderful show. Given the high quality of the performance, the fact that they take photos with you for free after the show, and that it includes a meal, the price is very reasonable, so I definitely recommend it!

ウクレレの弾き語りと２、３人のキャストによる小規模なフラダンスが繰り広げられるなか、そこそこ狭いテラス席で食事。

料理は豚の丸焼きがメインで、それは温かいしまぁまぁ美味しかった。

食事が終わるとメインのショー会場に移動。
座る位置は案内してくれる。

ステージはエルビス・プレスリーとマイケル・ジャクソンとケイティ・ペリー。そしてファイヤーダンスなどなど。
一貫性はないけど、とにかくバックにとてつもない練習量と、完成度、何より熱量がすごくて、いつの間にか見入ってしまう。
エルビスさんって世代的に全く知らないけど、一応聞いたことのある有名な曲をやってくれるし、そもそもめちゃくちゃ歌がうまいので、知らなくても全く問題ない。
しかも客席に降りて握手をしてくれるので、世代的に知っているであろうおば様方は歓声を上げておられましたｗ

どのステージも甲乙つけがたい出来栄えですが、特にファイヤーダンスはどうかしてるのでぜひ実際にみて迫力を味わってほしいです。

見るまでは「そっくりさんショーって・・・？」と、斜に構えていたけど
素直に素晴らしいショーでした。
こんなに完成度高いショーがみられて、鑑賞後には肩組んで写真もタダで撮ってくれるし、食事もついてこのお値段は安いので、是非！

Both Presley and Michael had high quality performances, and I really enjoyed the Hawaiian hula and fire dance! For those who love America, I definitely recommend attending the show! The seats are assigned randomly, so I wonder if those who enter early get better seats? Before it starts, you can take photos and check out the exhibits, allowing you to spend your time as you like. The Mai Tai is shared at a table with others on the terrace, but it has a sense of openness, and you can fully enjoy Hawaiian cuisine. The whole roasted pig is quite impressive!

It was my first time seeing the show, and I enjoyed it from start to finish. There was a handmade feel that occasionally showed the team's unity amidst the high-quality performances. The dinner and luau experience at Paradise Cove were very nice. Our bus guide, Rich, was funny and helpful.

When we arrived we were given a mai tai/alcohol free mai tai, a flower lei if you bought the orchid or deluxe package (shell necklace if not), and they take a photo. Then you go in and shop or do activities. We got "Polynesia tattoos", had flower headbands made, held parrots, and threw spears. The lines for the activities take ages.

Unbeknownst to me, the stands that sell all the interesting items close when dinner starts, so if you want to use your merchandise card on something other than alcohol or cheap junk in the Marketplace shop then make sure you do you shopping before dinner starts. Children's merchandise cards can't be used on alcohol. This part was the only downside.

The buffet is different from the quality of hotel buffets, but since it's on a ship, it's sufficient. We participated as a family of five: my husband, our three-year-old son, and our one-year-old twins. The kids can't wait for a course meal, and I thought it would be a hassle if they got noisy, so we chose the buffet. We were able to board with the twins in their stroller. The ship also has an elevator (which can only be used by those with special needs like wheelchairs or strollers), and we were able to move to the top floor using the elevator. We were looking forward to the fireworks on Friday, but they were canceled due to rising water levels; however, the three-hour cruise went ahead as planned. It was a lot of fun to relax and enjoy the scenery, listen to live music, and dance together.

It was a very American tour where the entertainment started already on the bus. The bus guide was amazing! The pre-show entertainment was fun, with a sense of unity amidst the freedom. If you don't miss the signal from the conch shell, you can keep up with the flow. But it's okay if you fall behind! Everyone spends their time as they like, and that sense of freedom is very pleasant.

It's more enjoyable if you can speak English, but if you want to experience American entertainment with your body, you don't need to worry about the language! I recommend this for those who want to have an experience a bit different from a typical Japanese group tour!

The deluxe dinner course is worth the money. The meal is served to you, and you also receive souvenirs and a $24 gift card. We wore yukatas! Since everyone was dressed nicely, there was no need to feel embarrassed. It gets chilly at night, so it's a good idea to bring something to wear over.

I was glad to have such a fun tour. Thank you!

デラックスディナーコースはお金を払う価値アリです。食事も運んでもらえて、お土産や24ドルの金券(カード)ももらえます。
私達は、浴衣を着て行きました！皆さんお洒落しているので、恥ずかしくないですい。夜は冷えるので、羽織る物を持っていくといいです。
こんなに楽しいツアーがあって良かった、と思いました。ありがとうございました。

This was truly a great time. We had the deluxe package so we had special seating and an unobstructed view of the stage and entertainers. The weather was great as well as the food and drinks. They took great care of us and attended our every request. They had lots of activities at the cove. They had spear throwing, rafting, lei making and of course hula lessons. If you go to the island make the time to attend a luau and especially at Paradise Cove. It was simply the best.
