What a nice treat after getting off an 11 hour plane ride! The woman who greated us was SO nice and helpful. She took pictures of us, got us maps of the area and even walked us to the rental car shuttle. Above and beyond our expectations. Plus, the lei's were beautiful. A truly special way to start our Hawaiian vacation

A long day, but well worth it! Even the bus ride was good. This was the best luau experience we had, easily beating out the one offered by NCL on Kaua'i, which was very good. It was a hot day, and the line for shaved ice was long, but that is the only negative. All of the cultural shows we saw were excellent and there were even pre-shows for those who arrived early. The food was good (along with another show), and the main show at the end (Ha, Breath of Life) was outstanding.
If you are looking for an intimate on-the-beach luau, this is not it. The PCC provides a first-rate experience for thousands of people, and does so with minimal delays and great views from any seating location. I am so glad we went. This was one of the highlights of our entire trip.

Going to a luau is something everyone should do at least once. Paradise cove is beautiful and the staff very friendly. The "games" are not impressive, but give you something to do. The show is good. The food is good but not labeled, so try everything. Did not like most of the native dishes, but the pork and chicken were excellent. The drinks are poured in front of you, shots measured and often generous. Unless you are a drinker, I would not say they are watered down. You can purchase bigger, "better" drinks as well. (i didn't need to.) Had the standard package and would not bother with more expensive packages, seats are all good and buffet lines move quickly and plenty of food. Bring small bills for tips. I would recommend this activity to family and friends. Some small children there, ok for kids.

I was pleased with the Lei Greeting. The representative was there when our flight arrived, dressed in a Hawaiian dress, with both of the lei that we ordered. She explained a little about the lei, and their significance, and the difference between the two.
I would recommend this service, especially as a surprise for a family member, or for a first time visitor to the Islands.

One thing that I was told by anyone who visited your island was to attend a Luau. After reading reviews on websites, I chose the Paradise Cove experience. I am very glad I did. My two year old granddaughter enjoyed the activities and dancing as much as my 70 year old mother. If you leave this experience hungry, you have no one to blame but yourself. The ocean view was gorgeous and the sunset that night was breathtaking. Thank You!!!

I requested a course with transportation, and as everyone has mentioned, the bus was mostly filled with foreigners, and the announcements were only in English.
The show was indeed impressive. I ordered the deluxe option, but the seats were not towards the front; instead, we were at the very back on a higher tier. It started to rain during the show, but there was a roof over that area, so I was glad to be seated there.
The people I went with were happy to see an authentic luau show. However, they mentioned that it would have been more enjoyable if they understood English.
The food was delicious. They brought various dishes in order, and although it wasn't a buffet, the portions were more than enough to fill us up. The four drink tickets we received ended up going unused, which was a shame.

I am learning hula, so I definitely wanted to see an authentic hula and Polynesian show, so I made a reservation☆
The dance was sexy, elegant, and cool, but I felt like the wait time before the show started was a bit long...
I wondered if it could be done with a shorter wait time.

Our greeter was waiting for us when we walked off the plane. She was patient as we dug for our camera to take her picture (she was holding our beautiful leis and a sign with our name on it and my husband wanted a photo). She greeted us with a welcome smile and "Aloha" and took us to baggage claim and waited with us until our shuttle arrived. She offered suggestions on what to do and where to go. The leis were gorgeous, however I would recommend getting the less expensive leis as they are also pretty and not so heavy to wear!

I participated in this tour to entertain my family. As many others have written, there are extremely few Japanese participants. Therefore, I think it's best to join with the understanding that Japanese will not be understood at all, including during bus transfers. However, if you have a certain level of listening skills and can convey your intentions with basic vocabulary, you can enjoy it fully.
While waiting for the show to start, the activities of making leis and haku leis were enjoyable enough to make me forget that I was Japanese.
The luau begins with the sunset, and from there, it's a series of surprises. Traditional Hawaiian performances, including hula, as well as dances from Polynesia and Tahiti. And the most exciting part was the fire dance.
Regarding the food, since it's not a high-end dinner, you shouldn't have too many expectations, but the fried chicken was incredibly delicious.
The family I brought along all had a great time. Since we came to a foreign land, I think it's perfectly fine to enjoy ourselves to the fullest in an environment with few Japanese tourists.
On windy days, it gets chilly at night, and the air conditioning on the bus is quite strong, so it's essential to have something to wear on top.

I recently visited Oahu for the 2nd time. My first luau experience in 2003 was with Germaine's Luau. That was very fun, but I felt it was too "touristy".
So on my recent trip to Oahu to visit a friend, we decided to try the luau at the Polynesian Cultural Center. I am sooo glad that we did. The whole experience was amazing. We did the half day late entry package (upgraded to Ambassador). There is so much to see and learn about the Polynesian Islands and cultures. The dinner was seriously the best food, along with real students at the PCC performing a show during the dinner.
Then the "Ha! Breath of Life" show after dinner was so incredible. The story was great and the performances from all the different polynesian cultures were so wonderful. I cannot stress enough how much I am reccommending you visit the Polynesian Cultural Center and take in everything you can while you are there.

The bus ride from Waikiki to the venue was entertaining. During the journey, there was a brief explanation of the activities at the venue. Unfortunately, Japanese language support is not to be expected. There was a slight issue upon entry, but when I communicated my concerns to the bus staff, they responded immediately. I was able to interact with other participants and even experience hula dancing on stage (for those who wished to participate), which became a wonderful memory. The food was not just "something basic," but rather delicious. I think it would be nice to be able to give a tip smoothly when getting off the bus on the way back (though it is not required, it's a nice gesture).

First time to Hawaii, this definitely was a must see. Our tour guide was very informative, he himself served in the military. He kept us on schedule, we had no long lines to stand in to receive our tickets, our guide received the tickets directly from the booth for our entire group, allowing us to enter promptly. The tour of Pearl Harbor was a very solemn reminder of the cost that has been paid to sustain our nation's freedom. Enjoyed the tour of the USS Missouri, the ship is massive, tour guide did a wonderful job pointing out the facts and point of interests on the ship. The tour of the Pucnchbowl & downtown was just as good. Our guide again shared alot of interesting facts & info. Well worth the time.

I thought I was able to see a very high-quality hula dance. However, since the entire performance was in English, I was left confused, caught up in the excitement around me. I think it would be a very enjoyable tour for those who are fluent in English.
However, the process of receiving drinks and food turned into a long line, which took up a lot of time. It was a very disappointing situation.

The tour is extremely well organised - We were picked up from out the front of our hotel by a coach at 5am and were driven to the airport, picking up several other couples who were also doing the tour on the way. We were met at the airport by one of the tour organisers and were handed our tickets for the flight and told where to go and what to do upon arrival back at the airport later that night.
The flight was only around 40 minutes and we were met at the airport in Kauai by our coach driver/tour guide Jerry. Jerry was an excellent guide and throughout the day told us so much about the history of Kauai and lots of interesting facts as he drove us around in a comfortable coach.
We saw lots of great views and had plenty of opportunities to get out of the co

Each island had a unique cultrual display of dancing and interaction with the audience. We were busy all day, from 10:30am to 10:30pm. The lunch and dinner were very nicely organized and presented. We were so moved by the evening show "The Breath of Life", we bought the dvd! We would recommend this tour to anyone!
