Excellent staffs and trip

The driver Kaplan is so nice, he will introduce many hidden gem restaurants in Honolulu, and I tried the Yakitori restaurant right away after I finished the tour, the food is so good! Thanks to Kaplan.
For snorkeling, the staff will guide you when you are snorkeling all the time, for them safety is the priority. Also, they will provide some rice balls, energy bars, snacks, hot coffee, and fruits in the boat. You can always go by boat when you are tired.
Strongly recommendended!

日差しは強烈なのに強風で寒い！
Reviewed by: しーえぬ, 2023/05/17楽しかったので後悔はありませんが、全体を通して期待以上ではなかったなぁというのが正直な感想です。
■天候・時期・気温
4月上旬の晴れの日でしたが、風がとんでもなく強くて寒かったです。あごひものない帽子はとんでいく、ハンバーガーは野菜が吹き飛ばされるので甲板で食べるのは諦めたほどです。
ビキニの方もいましたが、日差しは日本の真夏以上に強いので、泳ぐときも長袖ラッシュガード長丈のレギンスが無難かなぁと思います。
また水からあがったあとは上から羽織れる長袖や毛布代わりになる大きなバスタオルは必須でした。とにかく寒いです。
■サンドバーについて
潮見表で干潮であることを確認して参加しました。
しかしくるぶしまでは水あったので、やはり島というよりは浅瀬ですね。
船は太もも丈くらいの水深に止まるので、みんな冷た～い！といいながら上陸していました。
浅瀬は日で暖められて温泉っぽくなっている部分もありますが、後が寒いのであまり泳ぐ方はいませんでした。
スタッフさんが設置してくれるビーチバレーはそこそこ盛り上がっていましたが、やはり風で流されるのでやりにくそうでした。日本人は参加していなかったかも。
クアロアなど雄大な山や風景を背に写真を撮れるのでそれは開放的で良かったです。ちなみに当たり前ですが海風が激しいのでウユニ塩湖のような空が写る水面は全く期待できません。
サンドバーは珊瑚がくだけてできた洲で、珊瑚のかけらがたくさん落ちており眺めるのは楽しいですが、裸足で歩くのは痛いです(現地のスタッフさんはバリバリ裸足でしたが真似はできませんでした(^-^;))。
アクセサリーを落とす人が多いと案内があったので、そもそも身につけないほうがよいでしょう。
水中カメラを持っていきましたが、サンドバーに関しては防水カバーにいれたスマホで十分間に合ったなと感じました。
個人的には石垣島の幻の島ツアーの方が国内だけど似た雰囲気でちゃんと“島”だし寒くなかったので、そちらの方が好きでした。
■船上からのウミガメウォッチング
珊瑚礁の浅瀬で息継ぎをするウミガメを船上から眺められます。結構な数が見られ、船のすぐ近くにも来てくれてスマホでも十分写真が取れました。
カプッと口をあけて息継ぎするウミガメはかわいかったです。
■船上BBQ
船の上で焼いたハンバーガーを食べることができます。しっかり焼かれたハンバーグはカリッと香ばしくておいしかったです。サイドメニューに煮豆や果物などもありました。小さいサイズのチップスも2種類用意してあり(Doritosとレイズでした)一袋はお土産に持ち帰りました。ありがたかったです。
ただ、前述の通り風が強くて甲板では食べるのはハードモードでした。
■シュノーケリング
珊瑚礁の塊の周りの浅瀬でシュノーケリングです。
ライフジャケット、足ヒレ、フロート(棒状の浮き)の
3種類を個人の技量にあわせて選べます。泳ぎに自信のない方は3種類ある方が安心でしょう。
私は寒さ対策的な意味でもライフジャケット必須だと感じました。
珊瑚礁に船が固定されると甲板の真ん中に海への階段が降ろされるので、降りたら即海です。自信のある方は別の場所から飛び込んでもいいと案内がありましたが誰もチャレンジはしていませんでした笑
入ってしまえば案外寒さには慣れましたが、長く水に浸かっている手足がかじかんでくる感覚がありやはり寒かったです。
珊瑚礁の隙間にウミガメが隠れていることがあるとのことでしたが、この日は残念ながら出会えませんでした。熱帯魚はそれなりにいましたがちょっと物足りなかったです。
ちなみにBBQの時のバンズを残しておくか、あまりがあれば少しもらってくると熱帯魚が食べに来るのでおすすめです。
装備を着用して順番に海におりるまでそれなりの時間がかかるためシュノーケリングの時間が少し短かったのも物足りない要因のひとつだったかなと思います。狭いエリアに人が密集するので泳ぎにくさも感じました。
シュノーケリング後に暖かいコーヒーや紅茶を出してもらえてありがたかったです。
■その他全体
送迎バスは現地の方のようで、名簿の名前を呼ばれる以外は日本語の説明はありません。
船上では日本語のスタッフさんがついてくれて、しっかりと説明をしてくれるので安心でした。最初に英語の人は甲板に、日本語の人は船内に、といったように場所移動をアナウンスしてくれるので遠すぎて聞き取れないといったこともないので安心です。
映画のロケ地などの説明もしてくださって楽しかったです。
BBQも含め、スタッフの方のサービスレベルはかなり高いと思います。

日本人のスタッフさんが、説明等をしてくれたので安心でした。写真も沢山撮って頂きました！ランチも美味しいハンバーガーを頂きました。
ウミガメも見れましたし、サンドバーもとても綺麗！
スノーケリングは、10歳の娘が初体験でしたが、全く問題なく、初めてのスノーケリングで沢山の魚を見れて、感動していました！
一つ残念なのは、かなり風が強くて寒さを感じました。
参加される時は、念のため、タオルや上着は、もう一枚プラスでも良いかもしれません。

Reviewed by: Tony and Helen. , 2023/05/07We had an enjoyable day out. The weather wasn’t very favourable but the team still did an outstanding job. Lunch was cooked fresh and was very nice. We didn’t snorkel but looks like all had a great time.
The only thing I would change is we had 2 boats tied together and it made for a lot of flippers in the water, looked very crowded around the reef. I’m saying that, the team always kept their eyes on the job and communicated together at all times.

Reviewed by: とまと, 2023/05/03ツアーに参加しないとサンドバーまで行けないということと日曜日はツアーはないということで、平日は仕事だった主人は参加できず1人で参加しました。(ちなみに他のみなさんはカップルが多くてちょっと寂しい〜！)
しかし当日は朝からずっと霧雨の曇天。
写真のような景色とは程遠く、全部グレーでした。天候に左右されるのは致し方ないですから、こればかりは良い天気を祈るしかないかと思います。
1人参加でしたがサンドバーの時にシュノーケリングの説明と練習をさせてもらえます。英語での説明と日本語での説明をして下さるので英語がイマイチでも安心です。
ランチのハンバーガーは船上でとても美味しくいただきました。
後半のシュノーケリングも天候が悪かったので視界はあまり良くありませんでしたがお魚見えました。
ただ、とにかく上がった後寒くて寒くてガタガタ震えてしまいました。船上で熱いココアをいただきましたがなかなか温まらず。帰りのバスも濡れた水着を着たまま上に羽織って帰るのですが、これまたバスのエアコンがよくきいていてブルブル…。
参加される方は濡れたものは出来るだけ脱いで、行きよりたくさん着て帰れるようにすることをオススメします！

Waikiki Bottom Fishing Cruise Tour - Ohana Fun Charters
First time Waikki Fishing Trip

Our kids managed to catches the first fish during our boat trip. Definitely would plan to come back next month. Hopefully this time our boat can catch more fishes comparing to last trip. It's wasn't that much fishes floating somehow but overall still an awesome journey with kids and family's. Scenic of Waikiki is unbelievable along many Dolphin jumping and boiling on the surface of the sunrise calm Aquatic blue ocean.

Waikiki's Most Affordable Turtle Snorkel Boat Tour - Mana Kai Catamaran
Chill atmosphere, kind service, and amazing sights among the fish and turtles!
Reviewed by: Nick Pettyjohn, 2023/05/01My wife and I had a great time. The two guides, captain and turtle-whisperer, were confident, relaxed, and funny. The pick-up location was incredibly convenient for us, near our hotel on the Waikiki beach strip. The ride to the canyon was just 15 minutes, and looking back on the city was breathtaking.
Once there, we distributed masks and floaty-belts and jumped right in! I foolishly wiped off my mask and it clouded up, but the captain was keen to fix it after I brought it to his attention. The turtle-whisperer was around to spot turtles and check in on our snorkelers, but otherwise we were allowed to roam.
There were quite a few other tour boats and snorkel groups at the site, but we were able to still find turtles and fish while staying a bit away from the groups of other snorkelers. We ended up among a school of black fish and had two turtles swim very close to us! Once while my wife and I were holding hands. A highlight of our vacation!
Don't go into this expecting a private/guided tour of the reef. Instead, it's a relaxing transportation to a great snorkel spot, with equipment included. For this price, I highly recommend it.

They supplied the tastiest BBQ burgers with vegan options as well! Our captain was so professional, yet funny, and extremely helpful taking pictures for us, and giving us the best sandbar adventure ever! We played volleyball, snorkeled, and enjoyed cruising around the sandbar. I can't wait to go again!

The Best Tour in Oahu- a must do!
Reviewed by: Alaskawayne, 2023/04/12Wow! To start. They picked us up at our hotel to start. Then drive us to Kaneohe sandbar. Next a beautiful short boat ride to two barges loaded with sea toys. Beautiful shallow sandy beaches that are user friendly for small children to seniors. The reef snorkeling is easy, very well guided and watched in smaller groups. We swam with turtles. Captain Danny went out of his way to share local marine knowledge and make sure all got to see turtles. This was our second time- we also sent our daughter and grandchild. They immediately fell in love with the tour and friendly crew. They are like family to us now. We will always come and swim with the turtles only with Captain Bruce's Team.
We have tried others and this family prefers and highly recommends Captain Bruce's based on experience. I am a former diver for the Seattle Aquarium, researcher for Washington State Department of Fisheries, Rescue Diver, Assistant Dive Instructor Advanced Open Water and lastly Alaska Department of Fish and Game. Simply said "Captain Bruce's does it right". I send my grandkids there Thank you Captain Bruce's! We love you!!! My only request is that you start another tour a bit more advanced for experienced snorkelers.

はじめて フィンに挑戦 サンゴやカラフルな魚も心地よかったけれど サンゴの陰から デカい！ウミガメが出てきたときの驚きと 感動は 参加してよかったです。

Worth it!
Reviewed by: Jen, 2023/04/06So much fun! Would do it again! The crew was informative, easy going and made sure we were all good! Food was great! I had 2nd servings and my 6yo son had a blast! It was his first time to snorkle!
