I participated in whale watching. I was able to spot a whale from a distance. I wanted to see it a bit closer, but the wind was pleasant, and I enjoyed the cruise. It was quite cold, so a long-sleeved jacket is essential. I hesitated about the pickup service being more expensive than meeting on-site, but I think if I had gone to the meeting point, there would have been so many boats that I wouldn't have known where to go. I'm glad I chose the pickup service, as it allowed me to participate with peace of mind.

I participated in the afternoon tour at the beginning of January. I was torn between other tours, but I decided on this one because it was smaller and I thought we might get a bit closer to the whales. The weather was clear, but I had seen reviews mentioning that some people didn’t see any whales, so I tried not to get my hopes up too much.

We set out about 15 minutes offshore on a small cruise ship and then waited in the surrounding area to see the whales. Since we weren’t too far from the island, where the town was visible, I wondered how it would go, but within about 10 minutes, there were cheers, and we caught a glimpse of a whale's head in the distance! Over the course of a little more than an hour, we saw the whale's head and tail flukes about 6-7 times, and at one point, a whale appeared right in front of us! There weren’t too many participants, so it wasn’t crowded, and we were able to enjoy it thoroughly. The staff was kind, and it was fun for everyone to search for the whales together!

Since it’s a small boat, I think it’s a good idea to take motion sickness medication as a precaution before participating. We drifted at sea for over an hour, and once you get seasick, it becomes difficult to enjoy watching the whales.

Also, depending on where you sit, there’s a possibility of getting splashed and wet, so I recommend wearing clothes that you don’t mind getting wet.

他のツアーもあり、迷いましたが、小さめでクジラにちょっとでも近づけるかも？と思ってこちらを申し込み。
天気は晴れでしたが、口コミで観れなかったという声もあったので、あまり期待しすぎずに。
小型のクルーズ船で15分ほど沖に出て、あとはその周辺でクジラが見えるのを待ちます。島の街並みが見えるほど島からもあまり離れていない場所だったので、どうかなと思いましたが、ものの10分ほどで、歓声が上がり、少し遠くにクジラの頭がちょこっと見れました！
それからも1時間ちょっとで6-7回はクジラの頭と尾ひれが見れ、すぐ目の前に現れたときも！参加人数もそこまで多くないので、人だかりで見えないということもなく、しっかり楽しめました。
スタッフの方も優しく、みんなでクジラを探すのも楽しかったです！

小型船ですので、酔い止めは予防も兼ねて飲んでから参加された方がいいと思います。1時間以上海を漂うので、一度酔ってしまうとクジラを見るどころではなくなってしまいます。

また、座る位置にもよりますが、水しぶきで服が濡れる可能性があるので、濡れても良い服装で参加されることをおすすめします。

The pickup time was 5 minutes past, and since no one had arrived, I contacted the emergency contact. They sent a different bus that had been stopped for a few minutes, which was scheduled for another tour. I made it to the cruise in plenty of time, so it wasn't a problem, but I wonder what would have happened if I hadn't reached out. The cruise itself was enjoyable, but unfortunately, we didn't see any whales.

The private cruise for our family of ten was comfortable. First, we spotted a sea turtle in the bay! After that, when we went out to sea, a pod of dolphins came right around the boat, and we were able to see them up close. Then we headed out to search for whales and were able to see them as well, which was amazing.

While moving to the snorkeling spot, we enjoyed some snacks, making for a pleasant cruising experience. I thought it would have been good to bring a change of clothes since there was a restroom at the dock where we could change.

Our family of 6 was excited about snorkeling and seeing turtles. My children and husband had never been before, so this was a perfect day with a Nick taking the kids through the water. It was a personal tour of the beautiful reef. My elderly parents preferred staying on the boat, but that was excellent too as Sam filled us in on all the history about the island. I would highly recommend taking the two-hour private charter as the attention to detail and attention to guests is unmatched. They had drinks and water for us.

At that time, the dolphin interaction at Sea Life Park was closed for renovations, and the other dolphin tours featured snorkeling with dolphins, which would be difficult with our young children, so we chose this option. At first, we couldn't see any whales, but later on, we were able to see whales, and there were also many dolphins swimming around. We all had a wonderful time together as a family. We had a party of 6 so did private charter. Only way to do the fireworks.

Boat was perfect and the crew was fantastic. Very timely and thoughtful. Right before dusk, captain saw a whale surface and we got to see it and the flute. Appreciated him catching it.

We got lucky and they texted day of to see if we wanted to go out early for the sunset. Got message late and they still made it work. Only a minimal extra charge.

Whale, sunset and fireworks. Doesn’t get any better. Highly recommend this tour.

The ship is comfy, they also provide drinks.
Snorkeling spot is great, saw sea turtles and of course a lot of fishes.
We were very lucky to see 4 spots of dolphins swimming just around us and jumping and spinning.
Great crew, very friendly and helpful.
We brought 2 babies (18 months) with us, they also had a great time, could tell from their face :)

Attending a private tour allowed us to set out immediately for the dolphins when spotted them. Will def. choose to do private tour again next time.

Absolutely LOVED this trip!! We did the 11am-3pm time block and it was perfect. The inside cabin was also air-conditioned. And, yes, the hot tub was perfect too!

We brought our own snacks and drinks since we knew it was a longer 4-hour trip. Snorkel equipment was included for those of us that wanted to snorkel.

The boat was HUGE (74ft!) so we had plenty of space. We brought our own smaller speaker which was great for lounging on the bow of the boat.

The private boat charter was a great help for families with small children. Since there were many little kids, it was really nice for us parents not to have to worry about other customers being around. Not only did we go wild dolphin watching, but we were also lucky enough to see whales. The dolphins swam alongside the boat, and we were able to see them up close, which was incredibly cute. I definitely want to participate again, but when I tried to make the next reservation, it seemed that my next visit to Hawaii was fully booked, so I couldn't reserve. I'm really disappointed... I wish I had planned earlier.

I truly appreciated the thoughtfulness and deference of PCK Nautical's crew shown to me and my family member on the occasion of my mother's sea burial. The service was simple and respectful. The captain chose a beautiful quiet spot where I dispersed my mother's ashes followed by rose petals, plumeria and the orchids unstrung from our lei. I thank Min and the crew of PCK Nautical for helping fulfill my mother's last wishes to return to her island.

The Hondo is comfortable and mid-sized with many onboard spots from which to view the ocean and Diamond Head. We felt safe under the care of the captian and crew.

I was able to see a lot of whales!
I participated around the second week of March.
I was really moved to see the spouts and tails multiple times.
On the way back, I encountered a pod of dolphins and was able to see them up close.

I didn't understand any English, but I was able to manage by mimicking others:
- Put shoes in a box before boarding
- Get drinks on the boat
(Since everyone was putting tips in the box, I did too)
- Put tips in the box when getting off

I was quite anxious because I didn't know what time or where the pickup would be, and the people I was with on the way there somehow took an Uber back.
After waiting for about 15 to 20 minutes, the pickup arrived, and I was able to return safely, but I should have confirmed it on the bus going there.

クジラたくさん観れました！
3月の2週目くらいに参加しました。
潮吹きや尾びれが何度もみれて、すごく感動しました。
帰りにはイルカの群れに遭遇して、
近くでみることができました。

英語は全く分かりませんでしたが、
・靴を箱にいれて乗船する
・ドリンクは船の中でもらえる
(みんなは箱にチップいれてたのでいれた)
・降りるとき箱にチップいれる
はみんなの真似してできたので困りませんでした。

帰りのお迎えが何時にどこへ来るか分からず、
行きで一緒だった人たちも何故かウーバーで帰って行ったのでかなり不安になりました。
15~20分くらい待っていたら、迎えが来てくれて無事帰れましたが、行きのバスで確認しておくべきでしたね。

I booked this for a Burial at Sea. I told the Captain what my father's wishes were, what he liked about the island, etc. The Captain read his obit, studied the charts & current for that day and I couldn't have scripted it better myself. They were unbelievable nice, generous & caring. A vision that all of us that were there will keep. Pictures will never do it justice.
I think he must know someone in high places, as the waters were VERY calm - like glass. The place he picked was beautiful - we could see all the way to the bottom. Picture perfect.

Private Kaneohe Sandbar Speed Boat Rental with SUP & Snorkel – Captain Bruce

Many moons ago I visited the sandbar and knew I needed to come back again. It took me 10 years but finally made it!!

I ponied up the cheddar for the private speed boat and for me it was perfect. Captain K was so attentive to my family. (My daughter tripped in the parking lot within 20 seconds of meeting him). He bandaged her up. Taught us about the geography of the bay. Went out of his way to find us some turtles at the end.

My 5 year old had the time of her life with all the fish! Snorkeling was amazing. All the toys already out on the sandbar were amazing.

10 out of 10. Will do again next time in Oahu.

Bella esperienza, la barca ha tutto l'essenza Ale ed è comoda per passarci un paio di ore, i due ragazzi che ci hanno portato fuori sono stati molto gentili e professionali, conoscono bene la zona è puoi chiederlo tanti consigli su cosa fare nell'isola.
Purtoppo la giornata che abbiamo scelto non è stata delle migliori.. pioveva a tratti e l'acqua era un po' torbida.. non abbiamo visto le balene.. ma vabbè avevamo già messo in conto che poteva succedere, abbiamo fatto un bagno in mezzo all'oceano e abbiamo nuotato con tanti pesci diversi e tartarughe marine. Nel complesso ne è valsa la pena, anche perché abbiamo avuto la possibilità di vedere la costa sud di Oahu da un altra prospettiva, incantevole.
