On October 7th, my wife and I participated during our honeymoon. The location is inside the Royal Hawaiian Center, right in the heart of Waikiki, which allowed us to enjoy it leisurely after shopping. After checking in, we entered through the VIP entrance and enjoyed a welcome drink and dinner! The food was very good, and there were Japanese staff members, which made us feel at ease! The show featured traditional Hawaiian hula dancing and even an appearance by MJ, which captivated the audience. It was a very exciting and enjoyable time! If I have the chance to go to Hawaii again, I would definitely like to participate!

10月7日、新婚旅行中に妻と参加させてもらいました。
場所はロイヤルハワイアンセンター内にあり、ワイキキの中心部ということで買い物終わりにゆっくりと楽しむことができました。
受付を済ませてVIP専用入口から入り、ウエルカムドリンク、夕食を楽しみました！味もとてもよかったうえ、日本人のスタッフもいますので、安心できました！！

I wasn't quite sure where the shuttle bus stop was, and the travel time was a bit long, which are negative points. But other than that, it was truly wonderful! The food and the show were enjoyable, and time flew by.

when we arrived there was a traditional Hawaiian dance to greet us. we then went into the venue for appetizers, which were well presented and very tasty. when we went into the main stage area we could not believe the position of our seat. right in front of the stage. the meal was exquisite and all 4 courses were cooked to perfection. when the show started the production was amazing. it was choreographed like a Broadway show. the Elvis impersonator sounded great and really looked the part. When he went through the crowd during "Suspicious Minds" he kept laughing between lyrics, just like Elvis did in his live performances. a simple touch but excellent attention to detail. We also had a Michael Jackson performer who was also very good and entertaining. His 'Moon Walk' routine was spot on.

Overall it was an exceptional evening out that beat all our expectations

Even the regular seating had great views so it doesn't matter which meal plan you book, just book it you will not be disappointed !!!

We purchased the “Orchid” package. It included adult and youth cove card. I wish all the vendors would accept the cove card. Only selected ones did, so that was a bummer. Why give you a cove card if not all the vendors would accept?

The show was fun and the staff was friendly.
The food was ok. There were food flies on the bread, so that was off putting.
The view was amazing!

The location is the central spot in Waikiki, the Royal Hawaiian. When I arrived, there was a hotel staff strike demonstration nearby. I worried about how much inconvenience it would cause for the guests staying there, and feeling down due to the noise, I headed to the venue. When the time came, I was welcomed with fresh hula and Mai Tai drinks. My gloomy mood was instantly lifted, and my excitement for the event reached its peak. I was escorted to the VIP seats by the stage, enjoyed the main dish, and was fully satisfied as the showtime began. The motivation was at its highest during the hula and Elvis shows. Sweet memories of my adolescence resurfaced, and for some reason, tears started flowing uncontrollably! At the exit, I took commemorative photos with the hula girls and Elvis. It was a very satisfying show.

In the evening, I was picked up in Waikiki and signed up for a buffet and show tour.

It takes about an hour by car from Waikiki to the Polynesian Cultural Center. Of course, you can sleep during the ride, but the Japanese guide explains the buildings and scenery along the way, so we arrived in no time.

The buffet had delicious dishes, and the staff was very attentive, which was great.

The show is in English, but there is a simple explanation during the car ride, and the pamphlet (in Japanese) also provides information, so I think even those who can't speak English at all can enjoy it.

The combat dance is particularly well-regarded, and although I've seen combat dances in other shows before, this one was the best I've experienced.

On the way back, we arrived in Waikiki after 10 PM, and they drop you off right in front of each hotel, but there was no Japanese guide, just the driver. Since we passed our hotel, I was able to communicate a bit in English to ask the driver to stop, and we made it back safely, but it might be a good idea to confirm your name and hotel when getting on.

夕方にワイキキでピックしてもらい、ブッフェとショーのツアーに申し込みました。

ワイキキからポリネシアカルチャーセンターまでは車で1時間ほど。もちろん寝ていても構いませんが、日本人ガイドの方が道中の建物や景色など説明してくれるのであっという間に着きました。

ブッフェはどの料理も美味しく、スタッフの方々もこまめに来てくださりとても良かったです。

ショーは英語ですが、行きの車の中でも簡単に説明があり、パンフレット（日本語）にも説明があるので英語が全くできない方でも楽しめると思います。

そして戦闘の踊りが特に評判との事ですが、これまで他のショーの戦闘の踊りも見たのですが今回の戦闘の踊りがいちばん良かったです。

帰りはワイキキに着くのが22時過ぎるので各ホテル正面まで送っていただけるのですが、日本語ガイドの方はおらずドライバーさんだけです。私達のホテルを通り過ぎたので当方少々ですが英語ができるためドライバーさんにすぐに止めてもらい無事に帰れましたが、乗るときに名前とホテル名は必ず確認した方が良いかもしれません。

Our time at the Polynesian Cultural Center center was truly amazing. We did splurge on the super ambassador ticket. Which was well worth every penny. We spent the day with Tyrone, he was the most intelligent, knowledgeable, kind and caring person. He made sure we understood everything we were watching or listening too. It started to rain and he ran and supplied us all with rain ponchos. Everyone who worked there were friendly, and knowledgeable about their land. We were there for 8 hours and we could have easily have spent several more hours.

What an amazing experience, we spent all day at the PCC saw so many different cultures. We saw the church and did all sorts of activities, the only let down was the night show. It dragged for about an hour until it got fun and we saw the fireshow.

This time, I chose the Stage Side VIP Dinner Course for Rock of Ages, which I had been curious about for a while. After enjoying a Mai Tai and various snacks at the welcome reception, along with beautifully arranged fruit, we moved to our stage-side seats.

The dinner included a main lobster, salmon, steak, and salad, all served in just the right portions and delicious. We enjoyed the show while sipping drinks without having to move from our seats. The impersonators of Elvis and Michael, along with the female vocalist, were excellent in both singing and performance. The collaboration of hula dancing and rock and roll was captivating and left us very satisfied.

The cast also came down close to us, and there was a fire dance, making for a high-quality show that kept us excited the entire time. We were even able to take photos with the cast after the show. There were families with small children, so I thought it would be nice to bring my daughter’s family next time.

今回は前から気になっていたロック・ア・フラショーのステージサイドＶＩＰディナーコースを選びました。ウエルカムレセプションでマイタイと各種おつまみや、お花仕立てのフルーツを頂いた後ステージサイドの席へ移動。
ディナーは、メインのロブスターにサーモン、ステーキ、サラダ等どれも程良い量で美味しく戴きました。席の移動もなくドリンクを飲みながらショーを拝見。エルビス、マイケル両そっくりさんと女性ボーカルは歌もパフォーマンスもうまく、ダンサーとのフラダンス、ロックンロールのコラボは魅力たっぷりで大満足。
キャストも近くに降りてきたり、ファイヤーダンスもありと休む間もないクオリティーの高いショーで大興奮のひと時でした。ショー後にキャストとの写真も撮れました。小さいお子様ずれの方もいたので、次回は娘家族も連れてきたいと思いました。

The lively atmosphere felt very much like being abroad, and I was really glad I came to Hawaii. The welcome drink was tasty, and I could choose between alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. The fruit platter was cute, and everything was enjoyable from start to finish. The main dish, lobster, and the seasoning of the meat were just right, and I finished it all (laughs). It might have been a bit too much for Japanese people, but I was able to eat slowly, which was really nice. The show was loud, almost full, and even without understanding English, I enjoyed just watching it. I definitely want to make a reservation again next time! They also took photos for us, which became a memorable keepsake. Other Japanese guests seemed to be having a great time too, and since the location is facing Kalakaua Avenue, it was easy to find. I felt that the atmosphere is really important. Time flew by quickly. The Hawaiian vibe, the excitement of being abroad, and the food all resulted in complete satisfaction! I was torn between a traditional luau in the suburbs and this one, but I decided on the Rock-a-Hula show because it was within walking distance from the hotel and there was no need for bus transportation, plus the promotional price was tempting. I'm really glad I chose this one. First of all, the food was delicious! Unlike other dishes I've had in Hawaii, the seasoning was not too strong, just right, and although it was luxurious and plentiful, it wasn't greasy at all, so I finished it all quickly. There were also Japanese staff members in the hall who frequently checked in on us, which made me feel at ease. The content of the hula show was a great mix of traditional elements and some well-known songs from a bit earlier, so the time flew by without getting boring. The impersonators of Michael and Elvis were also very talented and entertaining. While some might say the show was short, I felt satisfied with the rich content. At first, I had low expectations, but the entertainment was of very high quality and I really enjoyed it. One downside was that the spacing between the tables in the VIP section was narrow; I would have liked a bit more room.

This was our second visit to the center and we enjoyed it as much as we did the first time. The guides were very friendly, knowledgeable and aware of each of our needs. The young performers were excited about their culture and were full of energy and joy as they shared their culture with us. The luau was very good and the show was excellent. A very enjoyable family activity. We would highly recommend thie Polynesian Cultural Center as s part of your Oahu experience.

I decided to participate because the reviews were good. Although the reviews about the food weren't very positive, it was actually quite delicious.

I opted for the deluxe option with crab, but it seemed that the boiled crab wasn't ready in time, so we had to wait quite a bit—about 20 minutes.

The show was very impressive, and I heard that mainly students perform, but the quality was quite high.

It takes about an hour from Waikiki, but it's worth the trip.

Additionally, I learned that international students work as staff to help fund their studies, so I encourage everyone to give it a try!

※蟹が付いたデラックスにしたのですが、蟹のボイルが間に合わなかったようでかなり待ちました。20分くらい

ショーは非常に迫力があり学生さん達が主に出演してるとの話でしたがクオリティはかなり高かったです。

ワイキキからだと1時間程度かかりますが、行く価値ありです。

また、留学生がスタッフを務めて資金の足しにしているとの事でしたので皆様も是非体験してみてはどうでしょうか？

Since it was a VIP course, we started in a lounge-like area with Mai Tais and self-service snacks (such as prosciutto with pineapple, fruit skewers with melon, macadamia nuts, and potato chips). After that, we moved to our dining seats and enjoyed a course meal. We had informed Veltra in advance that we were bringing our one-year-old daughter, so a seat for her was also prepared.

During the meal, our daughter was able to participate in a treasure hunt game, which made her happy as she could walk around the venue (sitting still for the entire meal would have been boring for a one-year-old).

After the meal, the show began. With the VIP course, we could watch the show from our dining seats (on the first floor) while continuing to enjoy our drinks. For the regular course, it seemed that guests finished their meals outside the venue before entering the second-floor seating.

The show started with hula dancing, followed by an Elvis Presley impersonation show, a Michael Jackson impersonation show, and finally, fire dancing and hula dancing. All of it was wonderful, and we had a great time. I'm not sure if the quality of the Michael impersonation was high, but it was enjoyable nonetheless.

Last year, we watched a hula dance show at the Polynesian Cultural Center, which was a more traditional show that showcased Hawaiian culture without any sexy costumes (and that was good in its own way). In contrast, this show was a complete entertainment show with sexy and beautiful hula costumes, and it also allowed for a lively rock atmosphere, making us feel like we were in America! While I didn't know many of the songs, I still had a lot of fun.

Since there is a rock segment, the time for hula dancing isn't very long, so if you want to focus solely on hula dancing, I would recommend other shows. However, if you want to enjoy both American-style music and hula dancing, this show is highly recommended. The location is also at the Royal Hawaiian Center, so for those staying in Waikiki, it's within walking distance, which is a great point for efficient use of time.

VIPコースでしたので、初めにラウンジのようなところでマイタイとセルフサービスのおつまみ（生ハムパイナップル、メロン等の果物串、マカデミアナッツ、ポテトチップス）をいただきました。
それから、各自食事の席まで移動し、コース料理をいただきました。
我が家は1歳の娘連れであることをベルトラさんを通して事前に伝えていたため、娘の席も用意していただいていました。
食事の間に娘は宝探しゲームに参加させていただき、会場を歩くことができて喜んでいました。（1歳の娘にとって食事中ずっとイスに座っているのは退屈なので）

食事が終わると、ショーが始まります。
VIPコースは食事の席（1階席）でそのまま観覧するため、引き続き飲み物を飲みながら見ました。
普通のコースだと、会場の外で食事を終えてから2階席に入場していたようです。

ショーはフラダンスから始まり、エルビスプレスリーの（ものまね）ショー、マイケルジャクソンの（ものまね）ショー、最後にファイヤーダンスとフラダンスという感じで進みました。
どれもとても素敵で、楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。
マイケルのものまねのクオリティーが高かったのかどうかは謎ですが（笑）、楽しめたのでありだと思います。

昨年はポリネシア・カルチャーセンターのフラダンスショーを見ましたが、そちらは、セクシーな衣装などはなしでハワイの文化をしっかり見せる正統派なショーという感じでした。（それはそれでよかったです）
それに対してこちらは完全なエンターテイメントショーで、フラダンスの衣装もセクシーで素敵で、同時に、ロックで盛り上がることもでき、「アメリカにきたって気がする！（笑）」という気分を味わうことができました。
知っている曲は多くありませんでしたが、それでもとても楽しめました。

ロックの時間がある分、フラダンスの時間は長くありませんので、フラダンスだけをじっくり見たい方は他のショーをお勧めしますが、アメリカっぽい音楽もフラダンスも両方楽しみたい方にはお勧めです。
場所もロイヤルハワイアンセンターなので、ワイキキに宿泊している方は徒歩で行けますので、時間が効率的に使えるのも良い点ではないでしょうか。

I knew it was going to be a long day so we chose to arrive sometime around 2 P.M.. We Turned in our voucher for real tickets which I was surprised to see a dinner was included with the "HA" show. We checked out the village map and located the villages we wanted to visit. Staff were very friendly, and helpful. The Center is very well maintained ,very clean. After dinner we decided we weren't staying for the show. We had been to Chief's Luau 3 days prior and the Tropical Farms tour right before the Center, both had fire dancer's .I know from the reviews "HA is a great show but the night trip back to our hotel was not going to be easy. It would have been dark and scary.. As it turns out, we were back at our hotel 30 minutes before the show would have started. For us , it was the right choice.

It was a fun stage not just for dining and watching the show, but also featuring interactive events! There was a practice time for hula dancing, a contest where randomly selected guests were invited on stage to blow a conch shell (or something like that?), and opportunities to dance with the performers—there was so much going on. The hula dancers showcased various patterns of dance. The English MC was explaining things, but it was a bit fast and hard to understand... Still, I enjoyed it thoroughly. The fire dance was amazing!

The meal had a Hawaiian flair, and it was nice that it wasn't overly extravagant. The fish dish was the most delicious.

ただ食事をしてショーを見るだけでなく、参加型イベントもある楽しいステージでした！
フラダンスの練習タイムがあったり、お客さんの中からランダムにステージに上げられて、ホラ貝（のようなもの？）を吹くコンテストがあったり、ダンサーと一緒に踊ったり、盛りだくさんです。
フラダンスは様々なパターンのダンスを見せてくれます。
英語のMCで説明していたようですが、早口でよくわからず、、、
それでも十分楽しめました。
ファイヤーダンスは最高でしたね！

お食事はハワイらしい内容で、豪華すぎなくて良かったです。
お魚料理が一番美味しかったです。

I'm glad I participated because the bus guide taught us various things about Hawaii. It was great that they carefully pointed out recommended spots along the way. For first-timers, it might be a good idea to join this tour early on.

Once we arrived, the bus guide's job was done, so it's best to listen carefully to what they have to say.

The park is relatively large, but the dining and show areas are close together, so you won't get lost. There are various food options, and I really enjoyed it. The crab was packed with meat and very satisfying.

After the meal, it was time for the show. Be careful not to stray from your companions as it gets dark during the move. The show lasted over an hour, but it ended in no time. The performances were spectacular, especially the fire dance, which was amazing.

After the show, we took the bus back home. It was a bit concerning since we were separated from the people we came with and it was dark around us, but the driver was kind. Although he was a foreigner, he spoke to us in Japanese and dropped us off close to our hotel when we told him where we were staying.

I think this tour is definitely worth experiencing at least once.

バスガイドさんがハワイのいろんなことを教えてくれるので参加してよかったです。道中もおすすめポイントを丁寧に教えてくれるのがとてもよかったです。初めての人は前半に組んでおくといいかもしれません。
そんなバスガイドさんとも着いたらお仕事終了なのでしっかり話を聞いた方がいいです。

園内は割と広いですが、食事とショーの場所は近いので迷うことはないです。
食事はいろんなものがあり、結構楽しめます。カニは身がずっしり入ってて食べ応えがありました。

食事が住んだらショーの時間へ。移動中はあたりが暗くなっているのでお連れの方と逸れないように注意してください。
ショーは1時間以上ありましたがあっというまに終わりました。大迫力の演技、特にファイヤーダンスは凄かったです。

ショーのあとはバスに乗って帰宅。行き一緒だった人たちとバラバラで、周りも暗いので不安でしたが、ドライバーさんが優しかったです。外国の方でしたが、日本語で言ってくれたり、ちゃんとホテルを告げたら近くで降ろしてくれました。

一度は行っておいていいかなと思えるツアーでした。

First, the buffet meal! It was very delicious (^^)v If you go for the deluxe option, you get one plate, but it comes with crab~! I highly recommend it~

The show was very impressive, and I felt like I was being drawn into the dance! The seats in the center are the best for viewing! This is also recommended~

When you go to Hawaii, this is definitely a place you want to visit! I want to go again next time!
