I participated with my children.
There was a mishap where I accidentally forgot the date I had reserved, but when I inquired over the phone in my broken English, they kindly allowed me to join on another day, and I was able to enjoy a fun sailing experience.
(Thank you very much!!)
Some people were lying on the net stretched out at the front of the yacht and having a great time.
I also got to take a commemorative photo with the cool captain.
The female staff were very kind and helpful.
For those interested, you can purchase a DVD with many edited photos taken on the boat.
For small children, they provide life jackets, which is reassuring.
When boarding, the water can be up to your knees, so sandals are recommended.

I would love to participate again if I have the opportunity! ☆

子供連れで参加しました。
予約していた日をうっかり忘れてすっぽかしてしまうハプニングがあったのですが
電話で拙い英語で問い合わせてみると快く他の日に参加できるようにして下さり
無事楽しいセーリングに参加する事ができました。
（有難うございました！！）
ヨットの前の方に張ってあるネットで寝転んで楽しんでおられる方もいました。
あとカッコイイ船長さんと記念写真も撮ってもらえました。
女性のスタッフも親切に対応してくれました。
希望者には船上で撮ったたくさんの写真を編集したDVD？を購入する事ができます。
小さな子どもさんには　ライフジャケットをつけてもらえるので安心です。
乗り込むときは足元が膝くらいまで濡れてしまいますのでサンダルがおススメです。

又機会がありましたら参加してみたいです☆

I participated with my mother. We were the only Japanese people there, but everyone was very kind and spoke to my mother in broken Japanese, which was thoughtful of them. It wasn't too cold, and the beautiful sunset and fireworks were stunning. They docked in the best spot to see the fireworks. I recommend going on a Friday! There was no shuttle service, so we took a round-trip taxi, which cost about $13 to $15 to Waikiki (including tip).

母と二人で参加しました。日本人は私達だけでしたが、とても親切で母を気使って
カタコトの日本語で話してくれたり、あまり寒くも無く、綺麗な夕日と花火が
とても綺麗でした。花火が一番良く観れる所に停泊をして見せてくれます。
お勧めは金曜日ですよ！
送迎がないので、往復タクシーになりましたが、ワイキキまで＄13~＄15位でしょうか（チップ込み）

I am very satisfied with the interesting content of the Polynesian Cultural Center. I also felt the kindness of the young volunteers deeply.

However, I have some complaints. The tour included sightseeing around the island, but the guide was too pushy in trying to sell products at the store they recommended. Since many participants were elderly, they ended up buying things due to the pressure. While it's ultimately the buyer's responsibility, I have serious doubts about the high prices of the products and whether they are worth it. It seems that others who participated also made purchases, but later expressed regret about it. This is not just a matter of personal responsibility; I believe it's problematic to encourage product purchases during the tour. In contrast to the wonderful content of the Polynesian Cultural Center, the guide's attitude during the bus ride was an issue.

　ポリネシア文化センタ−の面白さや内容については、大変満足しています。若いボランティアの方の親切さも身にしみたようです。
　不満なことは、島内観光も一緒のツア−でしたが、ガイドの方が案内して頂いた店で、余りにも商品を進めて購入させようとしています。参加したのが年寄りだったのですが、しつこさに閉口して購入しました。購入した本人の責任ですが、商品の高額なこととその品に見合う金額ではないのか、はなはだ疑問です。一緒に参加されていた人も購入していたようですが、後でこれには参ったという声が上がっていたようです。自己責任で片づく問題ではなく、ツア−の最中に商品の購入を勧めるのが問題ではないでしょう。ポリネシア文化センタ−の内容が余りにもすばらしかったのと反対に、車中でのガイドの態度の方が問題でした。

The meal was not served due to the center's policy (no alcohol), but the food was delicious.
After that, the exciting show began! The authentic hula dance and fire show were all impressive and captivating. It was wonderful. We had great seats (second row from the front center) and enjoyed it immensely. My child was thrilled and exclaimed, "I want to go again!"
The tour guide, Kana, was very entertaining and easy to understand during the bus ride. Thank you for your help.
Kana, I hope you are okay after falling in the bus while driving on the highway... I'm glad it wasn't serious. Take care!
I would like to participate in the tour with my family again next time. Thank you for the wonderful travel memories.

お食事はセンターのポリシーという事で（アルコールは）出なかったが、お料理は美味しかったです。
その後、楽しみなショーの始まり！始まり！本場のフラダンス、ファィヤーショウ等など、どれも迫力ある見ごたえでした。素晴らしかったです。又お席がとても良い席で（中央前から２番目）大いに楽しめました。子どもが大喜びで、「又行きたい！」と興奮していました。
ツワーガイドの「ＫＡＮＡさん」のバスの中でのガイドもとても面白く分かりやすくて良かったです。お世話になりました。
ＫＡＮＡさん、高速道路走行中にバスの中で転倒してしまいましたが・・・お身足は大丈夫ですか？大事に至らなくて宜しかったです。お大事に！
又今度、家族でツワーに参加したいと思います。素晴らしい旅の思い出を有難う御座いました。

It was a very meaningful tour focused on experiences.

I was able to enjoy Hawaiian cuisine after a long time.

The dining venue was lively, with many foreign guests participating.

It was a satisfying tour.

体験主体のツアーでしたので、とても有意義でした。

食事もハワイ料理で久しぶりに味あうことが出来ました。

食事会場では、外国の方々が主体で大変盛り上がりました。

納得のいくツアーでした。

I stayed from the opening until the end of the show, and there were so many facilities to visit that one day was definitely not enough. On that day, I had a very clear and enjoyable tour guided by a Japanese exchange student. For example, since there were many visitors, they took us to hidden spots to ensure we could definitely see the shows and made efforts to secure seats for the shows. I believe each Japanese exchange student brings their own personality to create different tours. If I visit again, I think I will be able to experience a completely different tour.

開園からショーの終わりまでの滞在でしたが、見学できる施設が多く、とても1日ではまわり切れません。
当日は日本人留学生の方の案内でとてもわかりやすく、楽しいツアーを体験できました。例えば、入場者が多いので、確実にショーが見れるように穴場に連れて行ったり、ショーの席が確保できるように努力したりと、おそらく日本人留学生の方それぞれの個性がいろいろなツアーを作っているのだろうと思いました。もし次回訪れたら、全く違うツアーが体験できると思います。

I have seen the show before, but it’s amazing every time! This time, I signed up for the Deluxe & Circle Island tour! I brought my grandfather, who is visiting Honolulu for the first time, so we participated with sightseeing included. The guide was fun, and the atmosphere on the bus was relaxed and enjoyable, with sightseeing stops along the way—two birds with one stone! The lunch was delicious, and at the cultural center, we could experience various things. I learned about the cultural differences of the Polynesian islands and the various styles of dance, which was truly enjoyable. The student guide was also kind and attentive, taking care of the interpretation and my grandfather until the end! Thank you very much. We had seats in the second row from the front, almost in the center! It was the best seat! The show was powerful, and I could see each performer’s expressions clearly, understanding their heartfelt expressions. During the break, I enjoyed ice cream with a service voucher, and it was very tasty. Of course, I brought back the pineapple-shaped cup from Japan!

以前にも、ショーは見ましたが、何度観ても、最高です！
今回は、デラックス＆サークルアイランドで申し込みました！
ホノルルが初めてのお爺ちゃんを連れて来ましたので、観光も含めて参加しました。
案内の方も楽しい方で、バスの中も和やかで楽しい時間で、あちこち観光もあり、一石二鳥！
ランチも美味しかったし、文化センターではいろいろな事を体験でき、ポリネシアン諸島の文化の違いや、ダンスも色々違いがあることが解り、本当に楽しかったです。
案内の学生さんも親切丁寧で、最後まで通訳やお爺ちゃんのお世話もしてくれました！ありがとうございます。
ショーは前から二列目で、ほぼ中央！最高の席でした！迫力があり、一人一人のひょうじょうが良く見え、心から表現しているのが良く解りました。
休憩中もサービス券でアイスを頂き、とても美味しかったです。
もちろん、アイスのパイナップル型のカップは、日本に持って帰りました！

This time, we participated in this tour as a large family trip to Hawaii, including my spouse and both of our parents, to show our appreciation to them. Honestly, I had no expectations at first, but the show was quite impressive, and we were able to enjoy it a lot. I recommend it for older adults and families.

今回は、私達夫婦と両家の親も含めた大家族でのハワイ旅行で、親孝行もかねて、このツアーに参加しました。始めは正直全く期待していなかったのですが、ショーも見ごたえがあり、なかなか楽しむことができました。年配の方や家族連れにはお勧めです。

I participated on November 3rd. It took about 1 hour and 20 minutes to walk from the zoo to the location. There were a total of 5 groups with 13 participants that day. One family was present, and there was also one elderly person. We were the only Japanese, but it didn’t feel out of place at all, and we thoroughly enjoyed 2 hours of sailing. We saw a lot of dolphins. The view of Waikiki from the sea was very beautiful. However, for those who are prone to seasickness, it might be better not to eat too much. It was the best cruising experience.

11月3日に参加しました。動物園の所から歩く事、約1時間20分で到着しました。
当日の参加者は計5組13人。家族連れも一組あり　お年寄りも一人参加しておられました。日本人は私達だけでしたが、べつに違和感もなく　2時間セーリングを堪能しました。イルカもたくさん見ましたよ。海から見る　ワイキキの街はとってもきれいでした。但し　船酔いし易い人は　あまり食べない方がいいかもしれませんね。
最高のクルージングでした。

On the day of arrival, I participated in the 12:20 PM pickup. It was a fulfilling long day without feeling jet-lagged. The park was very beautiful, and the student guide was very pleasant. The show was as amazing as rumored; I was so captivated that I forgot to take pictures. Flash photography is prohibited. I highly recommend it for families, couples, and people of all ages, from children to seniors.

到着の日、１２時２０分のピックアップにて参加しました。時差ぼけを感じることなく充実した長い一日でした。園内はとてもきれいで、案内の学生さんの対応も好感がもてます。ショーはうわさ通り、写真をとるのも忘れて見入ってしまいました。撮影はフラッシュ禁止です。家族で、カップルで、子供からご年配、どんな方にもオススメです。

It takes about an hour from Honolulu, and there are tourist attractions along the way, so it’s not too much of a concern.

I participated in the deluxe plan, and since the price difference is not significant, I recommend it.

The show itself is of high quality and enjoyable; my two-year-old daughter was thrilled. The pineapple ice included in the price is also quite substantial, and one is enough for two people.

I participated on October 18th. The weather was cloudy but sunny, and I was able to fully enjoy the sunset. The light of the sunset reflected on the clouds, creating a very magical view. Unfortunately, the wind was weak, so we cruised using only the engine instead of sailing, but I still had a great time. The captain mentioned that it would have been more exciting with wind. The boat had carbon parts used throughout, including the steering, and it was equipped with GPS navigation for autopilot. It was a new boat, less than a year old, and very clean. Each person received two drink tickets, and there were three types of food (fried spring rolls, salad, and vegetable or chicken wraps) along with cookies, all of which were tasty. After leaving the harbor, we gradually transitioned from sunset to twilight, and afterward, we enjoyed the night view of Waikiki from the sea. The staff were cheerful and friendly, well-versed in handling seasickness, and the captain had experience staying in Japan, speaking Japanese well. It was a homely cruising experience, feeling like I was on a friend's boat, quite different from cruising on a large ship.

10/18に参加しました。コンディションとしては雲はありましたが晴れていて、夕日は十分に堪能出来ました。夕日の光が雲に写りとても幻想的な景色を楽しめました。残念ながら風が弱くセイリングではなく、エンジンのみでのクルージングでしたが十分に楽しめました。船長さんは、風があればもっとエキサイティングだよと言ってましたが。船は、舵をはじめとしていたるところにカーボンパーツを使用してあり、GPSナビでの自動操縦が出来たり、船自体出来てから１年たってなくてとても清潔感ある新しい船でした。ドリンクはチケットが一人二枚までもらえて、フードは３種類（揚げ春巻き、サラダ、野菜やチキンの巻物）とクッキーがあって味も良かったです。港を出て、徐々に夕焼けからサンセットをむかえ、その後は海からのワイキキの夜景も楽しめます。スタッフの方々も、明るく気さくで船酔いの対処も慣れていて、船長さんは日本滞在暦もある方で、日本語も上手、大きな船のクルージングとは一味違った、一言で言えば、知人の船に乗せてもらったような感覚のアットホームなクルージングでした。

I participated on October 18. As mentioned in my previous post, the captain explained everything in Japanese, so I didn't have to worry about the language and felt at ease participating. On that day, I was impressed by the beautiful sunset. We headed to the location by city bus from Waikiki. The guide mentioned it was a 10-minute walk from Ala Moana Shopping Center, but we thought that was unrealistic, so we got off near Ward Center instead.

10/18に参加しました。以前の書き込みどおり船長が日本語で説明して
くれたので言葉の心配は不要で安心して参加できました。
当日は、とてもキレイなサンセットで感激しました。
私達はワイキキから市バスで現地に向かいました。案内にはアラモアナ
ショッピングセンターから10分とありましたが私達は無理だと思い
そこでは降りずにワードセンター近くで降りましたよ。

This was my first time at the Polynesian Cultural Center on my third trip to Hawaii, and it was quite an experience. The explanations leading up to the visit were thorough, and our local guide was a student from Japan. They provided detailed explanations until the end, and I could feel their desire for us to understand, which was moving. The final show was impressive in scale, and I was very satisfied. I think it's a tour worth experiencing at least once.

３度目のハワイではじめてのポリネシア文化センターでしたがナカナカのものでしたよ、行くまでの説明も丁寧で現地のガイドさんは日本からの留学生さん。最後まで詳しく説明してくれ良くわかりましたし理解してもらいたいという感じが伝わり感激。
最後のショーもスケールも凄くて満足、一度は見て良いツアーかな。

Recently, I participated in my first trip to Hawaii with a friend. At first, we had a hard time finding the meeting place (it was farther than we thought), and I was worried we might not make it in time while dashing to the departure. However, the staff was waiting for us and welcomed us warmly.
*For everyone participating, it's best to allow plenty of time!
As mentioned in the voice center comments, there weren't many Japanese people on board, and the boat was small, so it felt a bit rocky. But holding a champagne in one hand while listening to the background music and feeling the splashes of water up close made this tour amazing!
Also, since it was Friday, we got to see not only the sunset and night view but also fireworks launched from Hilton H., which was truly wonderful.
I highly recommend this for those who want to experience the Hawaiian vibe and enjoy a different Honolulu from the Japanese-dominated Waikiki!

つい先日、友人と初Hawaiiで参加しました。
初めは集合場所がなかなか見つからず（思ったよりも遠い…）ダッシュしながら出港に間に合わないかと心配しましたが、スタッフの方達が私達を待っていてくれ、暖かく向かえてました。
＊参加される皆さま、くれぐれも時間には余裕を持って行った方が良いです！
ボイスセンターのコメント通り日本人はあまり乗っていなく、船は小さいので少々揺れが激しく感じましたが、片手にシャンパンをもってback musicを聴きながら、水しぶきを間近に感じられるこのツアーは最高でした！
また、金曜日だったので夕日＆夜景のみならずHilton H.から打ち上げられる花火も見れて、本当にステキでした。
Hawaiian気分を味わいたい方、日本人だらけのワイキキとは違ったホノルルを楽しみたい方には是非ぜひお勧めでっす！

The facility is located about an hour's drive from Honolulu, but I didn't get bored on the way because a student studying abroad from Japan shared various stories with us. After arriving, we split into groups based on our reservations. Each group had a student guide, but there were many mix-ups, and we went here and there, waiting a bit at times... However, they were doing their best. The show after the final dinner was amazing!!

ホノルルから車で1時間ぐらいかかるところに位置する施設でしたが、
到着するまで日本から留学中の学生さんが色々な話をしてくださったので
退屈せずに到着しました。
到着後は、申し込んだグループ別に行動します。
グループ毎に学生さんが案内してくれますが、
手違いが多くあっちにいったりこっちに行ったり、ちょっと待ったり。。。
でも一生懸命やってくれてました。
最後の夕食後のショーはすごかったです！！

I didn't have high expectations before participating, but it turned out to be amazing! Since I came to Hawaii, I wanted to fulfill my mother's request to see a "Hawaiian-style" show, and it was definitely the right choice. There are two courses: Deluxe and Standard, but I highly recommend the Deluxe course. The seating for the Deluxe option is closer to the front, making it easier to see. The restaurant for dinner before the show also varies by course. I only know about the Deluxe, but there was a variety of food including crab, sashimi, sushi rolls, fruits, and steak. (The Standard option seemed to focus more on meat dishes, American style). The show included hula, energetic dances, and the final fire dance, all of which were fantastic. During a break, we received dessert (which is included in the Deluxe course). The dessert was a generous serving of sorbet ice cream with plenty of fruit, and it was delicious! On the way back, I was so tired that I fell asleep on the bus all the way to the hotel. It was a fun night!

参加する前は、それほど期待はしていなかったのですが、これがすごくよかったのです！せっかくハワイに来たので、”ハワイらしい”ショーが見たい！という母のリクエストに答えて大正解でした。デラックスとスタンダードの２つのコースがありますが、やはりデラックスコースがお勧めです。観覧する座席も、デラックスの方が前の方で見やすいです。ショーの前の夕食のレストランも、コースによって違っていました。デラックスの方しか分かりませんが、カニや刺身、のり巻き、フルーツ、ステーキなどいろいろありました。（スタンダードの方は、肉料理中心の、アメリカンタイプらしかったです）。ショーはフラもあり、激しいダンス、最後のファイヤーダンスもすべてよかったです。途中の休憩で、デザートがもらえました（デラックスコースは料金に含まれてます）。そのデザートは、ボリューム満点のシャーベットのアイスクリーム、フルーツもいっぱい入っていて、これは美味しい！って感動でした。帰りのバスは疲れがどっとでたので、ぐっすりホテルまで眠ってしまいました。。楽しい夜になりました。

Recently, I participated in a catamaran cruise during my first trip to Hawaii. First of all, it was a super cheap tour at $7.77, but it didn't include transportation, so I used THE BUS (which costs $2 one way). I had some sense of direction since I had been to the Ward Center the day before, but it might be a bit confusing if you go there for the first time. (I took the bus from Kuhio Avenue since my hotel was Sheraton Waikiki.)

Overall, the cruise was a fun experience. However, I was feeling a bit seasick, so I couldn't fully enjoy it, which was disappointing. There were staff members who spoke Japanese, so I didn't have any language issues. They were friendly and made an effort to engage with us, so if you try to enjoy yourself, I definitely recommend this cruise over others that have larger groups. If you're prone to seasickness, I suggest taking motion sickness medication in advance.

先日、初めてのハワイ旅行でカタマラン号のクルーズに参加してきました。まず、７．７７ドルの激安ツアーで送迎つきではなかったので、ＴＨＥ　ＢＵＳ（片道２ドル）を利用しました。ただ、前日にワードセンターに行っていたので方向感覚がありましたが、いきなり行くと分かりづらいかも。。（宿泊ホテルはシェラトンワイキキだったので、クヒオ通りからバスにのりました。）
クルーズ全体は、楽しい印象です。ただ、私自身が船酔いをしかかっていたため、十分に満喫できなかったのが残念です。日本語を話せるスタッフもいたので、言葉の問題は特に感じませんでした。フレンドリーですし、気を遣って話しかけてくれるので、自分から楽しもうとすれば、他の団体が参加するクルーズよりも断然お勧めかと思います。船に弱い方は、ぜひ事前に酔い止めを飲んでおくとよいと思います。

I participated in the campaign. Since there was no shuttle service, I took a taxi in the morning. It cost about $15 including the tip. I saw a review saying someone walked from Waikiki, but I think that distance would be quite tough to walk. There were nine participants, including us. Only two of them were Japanese women. The captain speaks Japanese well, so I don't think there will be any worries. The boat is also clean. I heard we would get wet, so I wore a swimsuit, but even though I was on the net, I didn't get wet at all (^^;). On that day, we didn't see any dolphins or flying fish... However, since I was able to participate at such a low price, I have no complaints. The wind felt really nice~☆

キャンペーンで参加しました。

ワイキキから歩っていったというレビューをみましたが、あの距離は歩くにはつときついかと思われます。
参加者は私達を含め９人でした。
日本人は女性組２人のみです。
キャプテンは日本語が達者なので、不安はないかと思います。
舟も綺麗です。
濡れるとの事でしたので、水着で行きましたが、ネットの上にいたにもかかわらず、
全く濡れませんでした（＾＾；）
この日は、イルカも飛び魚も見れませんでした・・・
ただ、激安値段で参加出来たのですから、文句は無いです。
すっごく風が気持ちよかったですよ~☆

I was lucky to participate for the unbelievable price of $7.77. I really wanted to see dolphins, so my friend and I made a reservation over two days. However, due to the circumstances of the Makani, the second day was changed to a sunset cruise! Unfortunately, we didn't see any dolphins on the first day, but the sunset on the second day was breathtaking! It was quite fast-paced, so we got splashed with water, and it was very thrilling and fun. Above all, the crew members were all really nice, making for an enjoyable cruising experience.^^

＄7.77という信じられない料金で参加できてラッキーでした。
なんとしてもイルカが見たい！ということで、
２人で２日間かけて予約をとったのですが、
マカニ号様の都合により２日目はなんとサンセットクルーズに変更！
１日目はイルカちゃんは残念ながら見れなかったけど、
２日目のサンセットは絶景！
結構ハイスピードなので水もばっさばっさ浴びて、
かなりスリリングでおもしろかったです。
それになんといってもクルーの皆さんがとってもいい方たちばっかりで、
楽しいクルージングでした^^

On September 11th, my husband and I participated in the Makani morning sailing. The weather was beautiful from the morning, and I was excited. There were a total of seven participants that day, and aside from us, everyone else was from abroad.

After boarding the boat, we moved inside, and the captain began explaining the safety instructions and the location of the restrooms. Of course, the explanation was all in English. Although I could only understand bits and pieces, when we tried to go out on deck, the captain kindly asked if we understood the instructions and explained them again in Japanese! I was so touched by his kindness and felt relieved.

As for the comfort of the boat ride, it was absolutely amazing! After a while, the boat started moving just from the strength of the wind, and it felt so good to cut through the wind. Occasionally, splashes of water would hit me, and I was thrilled the entire time! I still can't forget that excitement. It felt like I was at an amusement park.

Perhaps because there were some waves that day, we didn't see any dolphins or turtles, but we did see flying fish. While you can see them in the waters of Japan, the flying fish against that blue sky and blue sea felt different somehow.

The view of Waikiki from the boat was fantastic! It felt like I was looking at a postcard scene. Along the way, I chatted with an elderly man who said he was traveling with his wife from Sweden, and that time spent communicating in broken English felt so happy.

After being on the boat for a while, I got a bit chilly from the splashes of water, so I think it's a good idea to bring a swimsuit and a light jacket. We took the bus to the ticket booth. I was worried about transportation until we got to Hawaii, but the bus was perfectly fine!

　９月１１日、マカニ号モーニングセーリングに主人と二人で参加しました。
朝からとても天気が良く、私はワクワクしていました。この日の参加者は全部で７人、私達意外は皆さん外国の方達でした。
船に乗ってしばらくすると、船内に移動し、注意事項やトイレの場所などの説明が始まりました。もちろん説明は全て英語。ところどころしか理解できないまま船は出向したのですが、私達がデッキに出ようとしたときに、マカニ号の船長さんが、説明わかった？？と話しかけてくれ、再度日本語で説明してくれたんです！！なんて優しいの！と感激し、安心もしました。
さて、船の乗り心地ですが、これはもうサイコー！！しばらく進むと風の強さだけで船が走り始め、風を切って進むので、それはそれは気持ちが良く、時折、波しぶきが体にかかるので、私は終始大興奮！！今でもその興奮が忘れられません。遊園地に来たような気分でした。
この日は少し波があったからか、イルカや亀は見れませんでしたが、トビウオを見ることが出来ました。日本の海でも見れるけど、あの青い空と、青い海で見るトビウオはなんだか雰囲気が違って見えました。
そして、船から見るワイキキの景色がすごくいい！！絵はがきの風景を見ているようでした。
途中、スウェーデンから夫婦で旅行に来たと言うおじいさんと話をし、片言の英語で触れ合うそんな時間がなんだか幸せでした。
　ずっと乗っていると、水しぶきを浴びたりで少し肌寒くなるので、水着＆上着を持参されるといいと思います。
　チケットブースまでは、バスで行きました。ハワイに行くまでは交通手段を心配していましたが、バスで全然大丈夫でしたよ。

For this trip, I decided to participate in activities where as few Japanese people as possible would join. I took part in the luxurious catamaran Makani Sunset Sailing. On the day of the event, there were no other Japanese participants besides us, and the rest were all foreigners. The number of participants was small, just 10 people including us, which allowed us to spend our time elegantly.

There was an English briefing once we boarded, but the captain also explained in Japanese, so there was no need to worry.

We enjoyed the sea breeze while watching the sunset, and we could eat our meals wherever we liked. We even saw a rainbow, making it a very satisfying activity.

I highly recommend this activity and would love to participate again next time.

当日は見事私たち以外の日本人は誰も参加していなく
残りは皆外人さんでした。参加人数も私たち含め10人と少なく
優雅に時間を過ごせました。

乗船して英語での説明事項がありましたが
キャプテンが日本語でも説明してくれたので、
心配は要りませんでした。

海風を感じながらサンセットを眺めて
好きな場所でご飯を食べることもできましたし
虹も見えたりととても満足のいく
アクティビティでした。

このアクティビティすごくお勧めで
次回も参加したいと思います。

こんな楽しいアクティビティをもっとみんなに知ってもらいたい

We participated in the morning sailing campaign with my 12-year-old son. The other participants included couples in their 40s and 20s, and one older man, making a total of seven people, with the others likely being Americans. Although the conversation was somewhat limited, we had a great time. There was quite a bit of wind that day, and the captain warned us, "It will be rocky today," but in the end, this turned out to be a blessing. The speed was exhilarating, and the moderate rocking made it incredibly refreshing. Fortunately, we didn't get seasick and took our positions at the bow (since it was a catamaran, there are two) and enjoyed getting splashed by the waves together. However, everyone on the deck ended up soaked, not just us... There was quite a bit of up-and-down movement when we crossed the waves, adding a bit of thrill to the experience.

One slight disappointment was that since we had gone out to sea, I wished we could have gone for a swim, even for a short time. The color of the sea was a deep navy blue, quite different from what you see from the beach, and it felt quite substantial. Well, since it was a yacht, it might be difficult to anchor out there. Additionally, one of the young couples' women (who seemed to be pregnant) got seasick as soon as we left the harbor and spent the entire cruise lying down in the cabin. It might be a good idea for those who are prone to seasickness to take medication when it's windy. Similarly, small children might find it tough in windy conditions. Even for adults, it felt uneasy unless we held onto the railing firmly.

The two-hour cruise went back and forth several times off Waikiki, and the view of the hotels and Diamond Head from the sea was fantastic, leaving both of us very satisfied.

キャンペーンを利用して、モーニングセーリングに中２の息子と二人で参加しました。ほかの参加者はカップル(４０代、２０代)と初老の男性一人で、我々を入れて計７名、我々以外は(恐らく)アメリカ人でした。会話は若干不自由でしたが十分楽しめました。当日は結構風があったので、キャプテン(船長～)から｢今日はゆれるよ｣と注意があったのですが、結果的にはこれが幸い。スピードも出て適度の揺れもあり、めちゃくちゃ爽快でした。我々は幸い酔うこともなく、船の舳先(双胴船ですから２つあります)に陣取って、二人で頭から波をかぶって楽しみました。もっとも舳先でなくても甲板にいた全員がずぶぬれになりましたけど･･･　波を超えるときの上下動も結構あって、ちょっとしたスリルも味わえます。
少し残念だったのは、せっかく沖に出たので短時間でも海に入ってみたかったって事でしょうか。ビーチで見る海の色とは違い、まさにネイビーブルー。何か重厚な感じさえしました。まあ、ヨットですから、沖で停泊するのは難しいかな。あと若いカップルの女性(ちなみに妊娠されていたようですが)は港から出たとたんに酔ってしまったらしく、クルーズの間中船室で横になっていました。風のあるときは船に弱い人は酔い止めとか飲んでおいたほうがいいかも。それと同じく風のあるときには小さな子供はきついかな。大人でも手すりをしっかり握っていないと不安でしたから。
２時間のクルーズでワイキキ沖を何回か往復するのですが、沖から見るホテル群やダイヤモンドヘッドの眺めもすばらしく、二人とも大満足でした。

We participated as a family. I used to ride on a yacht when I was younger, so I was really happy to be on one again after a long time. Just a little offshore, there were plenty of fish and dolphins swimming around, and my one-year-old daughter was very excited, saying, "Look, there are dolphins!" and "Fish!" I was a bit worried since my child is small, but there was nothing particularly dangerous, and we had fun even going up to the net area in front. I think it would have been interesting if the wind had picked up and we could sail, but on the other hand, it was somewhat reassuring for us with a small child, as there might have been issues like hats flying off due to strong winds. In any case, I recommend it.

家族で参加しました。以前自分自身もっと小さいですが、ヨットに乗っていたので、久しぶりに乗るのがうれしい感じで乗船しました。ちょっと沖に来るだけでたくさん魚やイルカが泳いでいて、１歳の娘が「見てごらん、ドルフィンがいるよ」、「フィッシュだよ」、ととても喜んでいました。子どもが小さいのでちょっと心配していましたが、特に危ないこともなく、前方の網の部分にも上がったりして、楽しかったです。風が出て帆で進めたら面白かったと思いますが、それはそれで風が強くて帽子が飛んだりということもあったかな、と小さい子ども連れとしてはかえって安心な部分もありました。いずれにせよ、おすすめです。

I previously went on a large dinner cruise, but this experience felt completely different, with the ocean feeling very close. Since it's a catamaran, it's stable, but it really gives you that refreshing feeling of sailing! The view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the ocean was calm and beautiful. The location is right across from Ward, and there's a booth just as you enter from the road. If you're driving, there’s parking available at the harbor, and if you have time, you might also consider parking at Ward or the nearby Ala Moana Park and walking over. The boat was very new and clean, and when I boarded, there were only six of us, so it felt like a private experience. Along the way, we encountered another similar boat at a dolphin spot, but that one was old and crowded, making our elegant experience feel even better. The fruit was also delicious, not the sour kind you often find at buffets.

以前、大きな船のディナークルーズをしたことがあるが、そのときの船とはまったく違う感じで、海がとても近く感じられる。カタマランなので安定しているが、いかにもセーリングをしている！という感じが爽快だ。沖から見るワイキキやダイヤモンドヘッドも穏やかできれいだった。場所はワードの道路を隔てた向かいで、道路から入るとすぐのところにブースがある。車で来る場合、駐車場はハーバーにもあるし、時間があればワードや隣のアラモアナ公園の駐車場に置いて歩いてきてもいいかもしれない。船はとても新しくきれいで、乗ったときは全部で６人と貸しきり状態だった。途中、イルカのいるスポットに別の似たような船が来たが、そちらは古く、満員で、こちらの優雅さが気分よかった。フルーツもビュッフェにありがちなすっぱいものでなく、とてもおいしかった。

The $7.77 campaign was a great deal. It was really enjoyable and fun. The crew was friendly, and I was able to relax and enjoy the sea. There were dolphins and fish, and even though I usually don't participate in tours like this, I'm glad I did. I didn't have any issues with seasickness at all. The day I went, there was hardly any wind, so we traveled by engine the whole time, but it was comfortable nonetheless. There were many surfers right by the dock, and passing by them was quite enjoyable too.

$7.77のキャンペーンで、すごくお得でした。ほんっとに気持ちいいし、楽しかったです。クルーも感じがよかったし、のんびりと海が楽しめました。イルカも魚もいたし、普段こういうツアーに参加しないのですが、してよかったと思います。船酔いとか、ぜんぜん問題ありませんでした。乗った日は風が殆どなく、最後までエンジン航行でしたが、それはそれで快適でした。船着場からすぐのところにたくさんサーファーがいて、その横を通り抜けていくのもなかなか楽しかったです。

The boat was new and clean, and they served snacks and drinks. Above all, sailing itself felt great! I was very satisfied to see many dolphins and fish! Since it was a catamaran, there was a netted area between the two hulls, and at first, I thought it would be scary to go up there. However, as I got used to it, I enjoyed lying down there and soaking up the resort vibe on the sea. I think the sunlight is quite strong, so it's a good idea to take precautions like sunscreen and a hat.

船も新しくきれいで、軽食や飲み物も出され、何しろセーリング自体気持ちいい！イルカも魚もたくさん見れて大満足！双胴船なので、二つの船の間に網で張った部分があるのですが、最初はそこに上がるなんて怖いと思っていましたが、慣れてくるとそこで寝転がったりして、海の上のリゾート気分を満喫しました。日差しはかなり強いと思います。日焼け止めや帽子等、対策はしたほうがいいと思います。

Since we arrived in Hawaii on a Friday, we planned to watch the Hilton fireworks from the beach. Just before our departure, I found out about this cruise and made a reservation secretly! Although I've been to Hawaii over 30 times, I had never seen fireworks from the sea, so I was really looking forward to that day. After relaxing at BREW MOON in Word Centre, I said, "I have a place I want to go," and took him to the port. We were the only Japanese there!! That was nice too. We enjoyed the scenery with a glass of wine, letting the refreshing breeze wash over us. Unfortunately, there were many clouds, so we didn't get a beautiful sunset, but unlike the sea in Japan, it was really refreshing and not sticky at all. I enjoyed the view all the way to Diamond Head without feeling seasick. The light snacks were delicious, and I couldn't help but eat a lot. I liked the wrap sandwich, and he enjoyed the spring rolls. Everyone was smiling at each other. It really lifted our spirits. And finally, the fireworks. They were different from Japanese fireworks, and we enjoyed them spread out over the vast sea. On the way back, we easily returned to the hotel from the bus stop right in front of us. It was truly fun. I would love to participate again. Thank you very much!☆

ハワイ到着日が金曜日だったので，ヒルトンの花火をビーチから見るつもりでした。出発間際にこのクルーズを知り，彼に内緒で即予約！！ハワイ渡航暦３０回以上の私ですが海上から花火を見たことは無かったので当日がとても楽しみでした。Word CentreのＢＲＥＷ ＭＯＯＮでリラックス後「行きたい所がある」と連れ出し港へ。日本人は私達だけ！！そこもよかったです。爽やかな風に身をゆだね，ワイン片手に景色を楽しみました。残念ながら雲が多くて綺麗な夕焼けとはなりませんでしたが，日本の海と違ってベタベタしていなくて本当に爽やか。船酔いも無くダイヤモンドヘッドの先までぐるりと景色を楽しみました。軽食もおいしくて，パクパク食べてしまいました。私はラップサンド，彼は春巻きが気に入りました。みんな，目を合わせてはニコニコ。心まで爽やかになりました。そしていよいよ花火。日本の花火とは違うねえ，なんて広~い海上から伸び伸び眺めました。帰りは目の前のバス停から楽々ホテルへ。本当に楽しかったです。また参加したいです。ありがとうございました☆

Actually, I get really motion sick. But since my companion loves boats, I decided to join them. The location is right across from Ward Warehouse. We took the bus, and if you get off at the bus stop just past Ward Warehouse, there's a traffic light that allows you to cross to Kewalo Bay. It's easy to find. If you're feeling anxious, taking a taxi might be a good idea.

On the day, there were about 15 participants. Aside from us, who were not Japanese or Caucasian, everyone else was. The catamaran started moving, and everyone began enjoying pastries and fruits all at once. As people started moving to different spots, I sat in a place where I could feel the wind.

However, it rocked more than I expected. I thought to myself, "Hawaii's ocean really is a place where waves from all over the world gather." About 20 to 30 minutes in, I suddenly felt nauseous!

This part gets a bit messy, but as soon as I stood up to head to the restroom, a female crew member quickly said, "Come this way," and guided me to the back of the yacht. She took out a bucket from under the seat and handed it to me, saying, "Use this." Then she immediately placed a cold, wet paper towel on the back of my neck.

A male crew member came over and washed the bucket for me. Even after I felt better, the crew checked on me multiple times, asking, "Are you okay?" Once I recovered, I bounced back quickly, and after that, I thoroughly enjoyed sailing while taking in the views of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the sea. After disembarking, I surprised my companion by saying, "Ah, I want to ride again!" It felt that good. The waters in Hawaii aren't sticky or smelly. It was just amazing.

By the way, there were two other people who felt unwell after me. The crew seemed to be used to it. They were also always watching the passengers to ensure safety. Also, the operation of the yacht's sails is a must-see!

This isn't directly related, but since we participated on a Sunday, we had some Huli Huli chicken at Ward afterward. It was delicious!

実はわたし、ひどく乗り物酔いするんです。でも連れが船が大好きなので一緒に参加してみました。
場所はワードウエアハウスの向かい側になります。バスで行きましたがワードウエアハウスを通りすぎたバス停で降りるとちょうど信号があり、ケワロ湾側に渡れます。わかりやすいです。不安な方はタクシーが良いかと。
当日参加者は15人程度。日本人というか白人以外は私達だけでした。
カタマランは動き出し、皆一斉にペストリーだのフルーツだのを楽しんでいました。
思い思いの場所に移動し始めたので私も風のあたる場所に座っていました。
でも予想以上にゆれるんです。「やっぱりハワイの海って世界中の波が集まる場所なんだなー」なんて考えながら2~30分位立った時、急に来ました込み上げるものが！
ここからちょっとキタナイのですが…
トイレに向かって立ちあがるや否や、サッとクルーの女性が「こっちに来て」とヨットの後ろ側にと促しました。
座席の下からバケツを取り出し「これを使って」と言って渡されました。そしてすぐに氷水と冷たい水に浸した紙タオルを首筋をにあててくれました。
男性クルーがやってきて、バケツを洗ってくれました。
治まった後も何度も何度もクルーは様子を見に来てくれて、その度に「大丈夫？」と声をかけてくれました。
1度ケロったあとは回復も早く、その後は海から見るワイキキ、ダイヤモンドヘッドなどセイリングを満喫しました。下船後「あーもう1回乗りたい」と言って連れを驚かせてしまったほど気持ち良かったのです。ハワイの海はベタベタしないし、臭くない。もー最高でした。
ちなみに私のあとにも2人気分の悪くなった人がいました。クルーも慣れているようです。
クルーはその他、必ず乗客を見ていて安全を図っていましたよ。
あと、ヨットの帆の操作は必見です！

直接関係はありませんが、私達の参加は日曜だったのでその後ワードでフリフリチキンを食べました。おいしかったです~。
