Family fun event, food was plentiful, and transportation was great for the adults to not have to worry about getting there and back!

Quicker event but with my wife having mobility issues this was a great way to be on the water!

Wonderful evening, great show and not really a bad seat in the house even going the classic level seating.

A bit crowded as they have a lot they can carry on the boat, but the entertainment was wonderful

Lots of history of the islands, and a great evening show to top it off!

It's overwhelmingly compact and close compared to other Cirque du Soleil stages. I was moved as I could even hear the performers' breathing and the intensity of the performance.

I was excited from the beginning to the end. I highly recommend this to anyone who hasn't experienced it yet. I plan to visit Hawaii with my son's family next autumn, and I definitely want to show this to them.

I received a request via email regarding the pickup location, so I replied and received information about the pickup time. The bus did arrive at the specified time and location, but the driver told me that I was listed for a different pickup location. When I looked at the paper the driver had, it had the name of a hotel I didn't recognize. I was also told that my return transfer was booked at this hotel, and when I asked if it could be changed, I was told it probably couldn't due to bus capacity issues.

When I got off the bus, a Japanese guide was waiting for me and handed me my ticket, and the guided tour began. The website mentioned that tickets would be picked up at a kiosk, but this was different. Additionally, the guide arrived right after I got off the bus, but there was no information provided about photo opportunities, so I couldn't take a commemorative photo upon entering. This also differed from what was stated on the website.

There were many things to see in the park, but there was little time, and I couldn't see everything. The children in my group were saying they wanted to do this and that, but due to time constraints, many things couldn't be done. I would recommend a longer tour. The final show, featuring a fire performance, was vivid and amazing.

実際にその時間と場所にバスは来たがドライバーにあなたは違う場所でのピックアップになっていると言われてドライバーの持っている紙を見ると知らないホテルの名前が書いてあった。帰りの送迎もこのホテルで予約されていると言われ変更できるか尋ねたがバスのキャパシティの問題があるから変更できないと思うと言われた。

バスを降りると日本人のガイドが待っていてくれてチケットを手渡し頂き、ガイドツアーが始まりました。ホームページではキオスクでチケットを受け取ると記載がありましたが異なりました。
また、バスを降りてすぐにガイドさんが着いてくれたのですが写真撮影に対しての案内が無く、入館記念の写真を撮ることが出来ませんでした。
これについてもホームページ記載の内容と異なりました。

園内は色んな物がありましたが時間が少なく、全ては見て回ることが出来ずに、同じグループの参加者の子供達はあれやりたいこれやりたいと言っていたのですが時間の関係でできない事が多かったです。
もう少し長い時間のツアーをおすすめします。
最後のショーは火を使ったパフォーマンスは生々しく素晴らしかったです。

The staff was so energetic and fun. The trip was smooth despite the waves. Our drinks never went empty.

On the day, the weather was such that it rained intermittently, causing rain to drip through the gaps in the table's umbrella, leaving the table and our shoulders somewhat wet during the meal.

The service itself was excellent, and the main dishes were delicious, so I highly recommend it!

When I mentioned that it was a wedding, they surprised us with a celebratory cake and kind words.

However, since it rains a lot in Hawaii, I would have preferred if there were no gaps in the umbrella…

当日は雨が降ったり止んだりといった天気だったためテーブルのパラソルの隙間から雨が落ちてきてテーブルや肩がそれなりに濡れる中での食事でした。

サービス自体はとても良く、メインの料理も美味しかったためオススメです！

ウェディングであることを伝えたらお祝いのケーキや言葉をかけていただきました。

ただ、ハワイは雨も多いのでできればパラソルの隙間は無くして欲しかった…

Our greeter was super sweet and it was a great experience for our girls.

I booked this for a trip to Hawaii with my father.

It was conveniently located in the Royal Hawaiian Center in the heart of Waikiki.

Before the show, there was a buffet with desserts and welcome drinks. The show featured hula, Tahitian dance, fire knife performances, and even tributes to Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson, all with an intensity that exceeded my expectations! It was a fantastic blend of Hawaiian culture and rock 'n' roll, and I enjoyed it from start to finish.

I was especially surprised when I received a ring during the Elvis Presley performance! It became the best memory of my trip with my father.

The staff were cheerful, the venue was clean, and the sound and lighting were professional. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to have a fun night in Hawaii. I would love to go again when I return to Waikiki!

ワイキキ中心部のロイヤル・ハワイアン・センター内でアクセスが良かったです。

ショーの前にはビュッフェがあり
デザートやウェルカムドリンクもありました。
ショーはフラ、タヒチアンダンス、ファイヤーナイフ、エルビス・プレスリーやマイケル・ジャクソンのステージまであり、想像以上の迫力！
ハワイらしさとロックンロールが融合したショーで最初から最後まで楽しめました。

特にエルビス・プレスリーのパフォーマンスでは、なんと指輪をいただけてびっくり！父との旅の最高の思い出になりました。

スタッフの方も明るく、会場もきれいで、音響や照明も本格的。ハワイで楽しい夜を過ごしたい方には本当におすすめです。またワイキキに来たら行きたいです！

There were only the two of us Japanese, and we were overwhelmed by the lively energy of the Westerners in the music. However, we had a great time. When disembarking, the staff helped us with the timing of the waves to keep us as dry as possible.

日本人は私達2人だけで、ミュージックに欧米の人達のノリノリで圧倒されてしまう。
だけど、楽しい時間を過ごせました。
下船時には波のタイミングをスタッフがなるべく濡れないようにサポートしてくれた。

It wasn't too long, and I was able to see it from a very close seat, so it felt like it went by in a flash. The performers used their well-trained bodies, and their performances were amazing, often leaving me breathless. Additionally, the scene where they drew pictures in the sand was captivating and entertaining. I didn't feel much of a storyline, but the frequent transitions kept the production engaging. It was refreshing to see the audience being involved in the performance. This might be a new form of entertainment.

長すぎもなく、とても近い席で見れたのであっというまでした。鍛え抜かれた身体を使い、演技者のパフォーマンスが素晴らしく，息を呑む事もしばしばでした。また、砂の絵を描くシーンでは、面白くて見入ってしまいました。ストーリー性はあまり感じなかったのですが、切り替えが多くて飽きない演出でした。会場のお客さんを取り込み、パフォーマンスをさせたのは新鮮な印象でした。新しいエンターティメントかもしれないですね。

What an awesome show! The story and music were fantastic. The performers were great. They all did a wonderful job. From the dancers to "grandma" to the fire dancers. Even the scenery was great... on the marina, especially on a gorgeous night. Good variety of Hawaiian food too.

This cruise was a blast. Bartenders are heavy handed and super friendly. Everyone aboard is just looking for a good time and we were glad to be a part of it. Would go every night if we could.

Everything was perfect and beautiful, and I was moved. It was about an hour and a half that went by in the blink of an eye! I was in the front row of the back seats, but I was happy when the cast waved at me as they passed by in the aisle right in front of me.

I chose "Rock-a-Hula" because I wanted to experience a Hawaiian show, referencing many reviews from others.

We toasted with a Mai Tai welcome drink during the time from check-in to dinner. A local lady played the ukulele and came to our table to chat with us in broken Japanese. The buffet dinner was organized by table, so the last person in line had to wait a bit.

The pineapple displayed on the table was cut to be eaten from the inside, serving as a bowl. I realized it was meant to be shared with the people at the table, but I couldn't eat it right away.

As we enjoyed our meal, the hula lesson got everyone excited, and then we were informed about dessert. The dessert line was free-flowing, so when I finally chose my dessert and sat down, it was already time to move to the theater, and I couldn't even finish half of it. What a shame.

The show I had been looking forward to was lively, with many enthusiastic participants, which made the whole venue come alive. The performers even came down from the stage to interact with us. The visuals were enjoyable as well.

It's definitely worth experiencing at least once!

多くの方の口コミを参考に、一度はハワイアンショーを観たくて「ロック・ア・フラ」を選びました。

受付から食事までの間にウエルカムドリンクのマイタイで乾杯。ウクレレ演奏のローカルマダムがテーブルに来て片言の日本語でお話してくれました。食事のビュッフェは席の列で案内なので、最後の人は少し待ち時間があります。
テーブルにディスプレイの様に置かれているパイナップルは、器として中に食べる用にカットされてました。テーブルの人達とシェアだったの気づいてもなかなか食べれなかった。
食事も進み、フラレッスンをしてくれ会場全体が盛り上がった後に、デザートの案内があります。
デザートの列は自由なので私はやっと選んで席に着いたら、シアター移動時間になっていて半分も食べれなかった。残念です。
楽しみしていたショーはノリノリの方のが多かったので、会場全体が盛り上がるし、ステージから下りてきて演者の方と触れ合えます。映像も楽しめました。
一回は体験すると良いですよ。

The food was very good. And variety was excellent. The show was GREAT! I would definitely recommend it. Had a great time. Elvis and Michael were great.

The seat was in Category 1, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Since it was a seat in the front row, I could see the performers' expressions, which added a lot of impact. There were also interactive elements that engaged the audience, making it very exciting!

前の方の席でしたので、演者の表情なども見ることができ、とても迫力がありました。
観客を巻き込んでの演出もあり、とても盛り上がりました！

I was worried because the venue is smaller compared to Las Vegas and Tokyo DisneySea, but I was amazed by the incredible impact. The size didn't matter; the production was also wonderful. I had so much fun that I want to see it again.

It was amazing to feel the ocean of Hawaii from a different perspective while on the sunset sailing! Watching the sunset and enjoying the pleasant breeze while sipping champagne and cocktails made for a wonderful experience.

My wife and I were celebrating our twentieth anniversary, and she said she wanted to go to a luau. I chose the best luau in Honolulu - the last open air, on Waikiki, at the Royal Hawaiian. The entertainment was amazing - the Andrew Sisters and the fire dancer were the highlights although everything was incredible and well done. I loved the theme on the history of Hawaii and Honolulu and I learned something new. I never realized how much WWII changed the islands but now I know! The food was delicious and varied. I loved the ahi collar! What made it all amazing was the setting. The one downer was our server - she acted like she didn't want to be there and was so inattentive that one of the other servers wound up taking care of us. But nothing could spoil that evening! We have already told all of our friends that if they go to one luau in Hawaii, go to the Aha Aina Royal Luau in Waikiki!

It was a high-quality performance that did not disappoint the usual expectations of Cirque du Soleil! It incorporated Hawaii's unique culture, music, and dance, creating a distinctive world. Compared to other Cirque shows in Las Vegas, I felt that the individual performances shone more than the group acts.

I was very satisfied with both the food and the show. I took my mother, who is learning hula dancing, with me. Since it was a show specifically focused on hula, there were elegant movements as well as intense ones, and there was even male hula, which really impressed her.

The hotel buffet was also very luxurious and delicious; I enjoyed a lot of crab and fresh oysters. The meat dishes, including the prime rib steak carving, were also plentiful. Drinks are not included, but the prices are comparable to nearby bars.

料理もショーも大満足です。フラダンスを習っている母を連れていきました。フラに特化したショーなので優雅な動きから激しい動きまで、また男性のフラもありたいそう感激していました。
ホテルのビュッフェも大変豪華で美味しく、カニと生ガキをたくさんいただきましたが。プライムリブステーキのカッティングなど肉料理も充実です。ドリンクは有料ですが、近隣のバーと比較しても同じくらいの価格帯です。

After dining on the open terrace, we moved indoors to enjoy the "Rock" A Hula Show. The show is wonderfully structured to showcase music from Hawaii and America, spanning from the past to the present. Even as a Japanese person, I found it enjoyable.

It starts with Hawaiian music and hula, gradually transitioning into the "Rock" era. When the show dives into the representatives of rock, "Elvis" and "Michael," the venue erupts with excitement! Everyone in the audience joins in singing! Since many of the songs are familiar to us, we had a great time. You can truly feel that the songs of "Elvis" and "Michael" are etched into the soul of Americans!

I wondered, "Rock?" even though I was in Hawaii, but I realized this was a fantastic form of entertainment in its own right! We had VIP seats, so we were in the front row, and the superstar who jumped off the stage even came into the audience! We could interact directly with them! My wife even got a kiss from Elvis, haha!

The fire dance that concluded the show was impressive! I highly recommend it! The perks of VIP seating include (1) a welcome drink plus one more drink, (2) priority at the buffet, allowing us to choose our meals without waiting in long lines, and (3) front-row seats at the show! You might receive a warm welcome from the superstars!

It was a wonderful show where traditional Hawaiian hula was elevated into super entertainment by the American people.

ショーは過去から現在まで時代を追ってハワイとアメリカの音楽が楽しめる構成になっていて素晴らしい。日本人の私でも楽しめます。
出だしはハワイの音楽やフラを中心に進め、やがて「ロック」の時代へ。
ロックを代表する「プレスリー」「マイケル」に突入すると会場は大盛りあがり！会場参加者全員合唱！私たちも知ってる曲が多いので大いに楽しむことができます。やはり「プレスリー」「マイケル」の歌はアメリカ人の魂に刻まれているんだと実体感できます！
ハワイに来たのに「ロック？」とも思いましたが、これはこれで素晴らしいエンターテイメントだな！と感じました。
私たちはＶＩＰ席だったので最前列に座っていたのですが、ステージから飛び出したスーパースターは会場まで乱入！直接（！）触れ合うことができます。私の妻はプレスリーに挨拶キスまでしてもらってましたｗ！
ショーを締めくくるファイアーダンスはさすが！ぜひおすすめします！

I reserved a gold seat, but in reality, it was a silver seat. According to the official culture center, I couldn't select a gold seat, so I thought that by booking through this site, even at a higher price, I would be able to sit in a gold seat. I was disappointed.

カルチャーセンターの公式だとゴールド席を選択出来なかったので、割高になってもこのサイトで取れば、ゴールド席に座れると思って、期待したのに残念です。

I decided to book a tour to explore a bit away from the center of the island. To be honest, I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but I was surprised when I got there! First of all, I want to say that my husband and I both want to recommend this to everyone coming to Hawaii! It became an unforgettable experience!

We were picked up by a bus in the afternoon and arrived at the location. To greet us was... a person who spoke fluent Japanese, which was impressive even for Hawaii. I'll explain more about this later, but it was a Japanese student who had come to Brigham Young University! I was amazed to learn that such an environment exists!

After that, we were guided through the Polynesian Cultural Center. Each area had content from different islands, and it seemed that the shows and events varied by time, so our guide helped us navigate efficiently. They provided detailed explanations about Polynesian culture, history, and dances, which sparked my interest in Polynesian culture. Thanks to this explanation, the luau show we enjoyed in the evening became much more enjoyable. Due to time constraints, we couldn't visit all the islands, but I believe those who managed to see everything would have found the luau show even more fun! I recommend taking your time to enjoy it thoroughly from an earlier hour.

This may deviate from the main purpose of the tour, but I learned that the Polynesian Cultural Center is also a place where Brigham Young University students work while studying. It serves to support students' tuition while preserving Polynesian culture. Personally, I found this entire concept to be the most impactful! I felt an overwhelming desire to support this place, where Japanese students share their culture with students from the Polynesian islands and around the world, conveying their unique charms to the guests.

In Japan, we learn about Polynesian culture only to a limited extent in history classes, but this place reignited my interest. While it's important to view culture from various angles, experiences that allow you to engage with Polynesian culture itself are quite rare. It's essential to visit without overthinking it; just go with a tourist mindset.

And finally, the luau show... it was a culmination of the charm of each culture we saw during the day, and it was an impressive experience. Thanks to the explanations we received beforehand, we were able to enjoy it fully, feeling the significance of every movement. I was even more surprised to see so many students participating in this authentic show. I want to see it multiple times and will definitely come back. I couldn't contain my excitement and talked about the show the whole way back on the bus. I wonder how many students practice alongside their studies... I hope many people will get to see it in person.

To WAKANA, who guided us so kindly, and to all the students, please take the beauty of this place and culture back to your home country and spread it even further! We are cheering for you from Japan! I will definitely come back to visit again!

島の中心部からちょっと離れたところに行ってみようかなということで予約してみたツアー。
正直どんなところかよくわかっていなかったのですが、、、行ってびっくり！！！
はじめにコメントしますが、私たち夫婦そろって、ハワイに来る人みんなにおすすめしたい！となりました！忘れられない経験になりました！

午後出発のバスでピックアップされて現地に到着。出迎えてくれたのは...ハワイとは言え流石に流暢な日本語の方...詳細後述しますが、ブリガム・ヤング大学に日本から飛び込んだ、日本人の学生さんでした！そんな環境があるんだぁとびっくり！

そしてそのあとはポリネシアカルチャーセンターをご案内頂きました。各エリアに島々のコンテンツが分かれているのですが、時間帯によってやっているショーやイベントが違うみたいで、案内の方が効率よく回れるようアテンドしてくれました。そこではポリネシアの文化、歴史、踊りなどなどを丁寧にご説明頂き、ポリネシア文化に興味が湧きました。そして、この説明のおかげで、夜に楽しむルアウショーが何倍も楽しくなります。時間の都合上全部の島を周ることはできませんでしたが、全部見れた方がきっとルアウショーももっと楽しいはず、、、！もっと早い時間から時間をかけてゆっくりじっくり楽しむのもおすすめです。

ツアーの本旨とはズレるかも知れませんが、このポリネシアカルチャーセンターはブリガムヤング大学の学生さんが働きながら学ぶ場所にもなっているとのこと。学生の学費支援をしながら、ポリネシアの文化を守っている場所になっているとのことでした。
個人的には、このコンセプト全体が一番胸に刺さりました、、、！そしてそこに飛び込んだ日本の学生さんが、ポリネシア諸島出身の学生、世界中の学生と文化を共有しながら、それぞれの魅力をお客さんに伝えているという、この場所、存在を応援したくてたまらなくなりました。

日本ではポリネシアの文化は少し歴史で学ぶ程度ですが、改めて興味が湧く場所でした。文化をいろんな角度で観ることはもちろん大事ですが、そもそもポリネシアカルチャー自体に触れる経験自体そんなに多くないし、とにかく行ってみないことには接点も何もないですので、難しく考えず、観光気分で行ってみることが大事に思いました。

そして最後のルアウショー...日中に見た各文化の魅力の集大成が詰め込められ、圧巻の時間でした。本当に事前に説明してもらったおかげでしっかり楽しめる、一挙一動の意味を感じる素晴らしいひとときでした。この本格的なショーに学生さんもたくさんいるってのだからよりびっくり。何度も見たい、また絶対に来ます。興奮冷めやらず、帰りのバスでずっとショーの話をしていました。どれだけの学生さんが学業とともに練習しているのかなぁと、、、ぜひ現地でいろんな人に見てほしいです。
とても丁寧に案内してくれたWAKANAさん、学生の皆さん、どうかこの場所、文化の素晴らしさを母国に持ち帰って、もっともっと広めてくださいね！日本から心より応援しています！絶対にまた遊びに行きますね！

This was my second time watching Rock-A-Hula, and the content had been updated since my last visit, making it feel fresh even for repeat visitors! The part that incorporated the world of the movie "Moana" really energized the entire venue, and it was especially impressive to see the joy on the children's faces.

Additionally, since I was seated close to the center front, I was able to see the performers' expressions and subtle movements up close. The fire dance was particularly breathtaking, with the heat and warmth of the flames creating an incredible atmosphere. The sense of realism was so strong that I could even see the performers sweating, making me feel fully immersed in the world of the show.

The buffet I enjoyed before the show was also highly satisfying, with a wide variety of dishes that made the dining experience enjoyable. There were whole pineapples on the tables, and when opened, they revealed cut pineapple inside! It was a rare opportunity to enjoy pineapple in such a grand way, adding to the special Hawaiian experience.

Moreover, the hula lesson held in the buffet area was memorable. The audience was able to participate together, creating a wonderful sense of unity and excitement throughout the venue. The atmosphere was very welcoming for beginners, allowing everyone to enjoy a Hawaiian vibe even before the show started.

Located in the heart of Waikiki, it's also appealing that many hotels are within walking distance. This makes it easy to join after sightseeing or shopping, allowing for an efficient way to enjoy within a limited travel schedule. It's the perfect entertainment for a Hawaiian night, combining a show, dining, and interactive experiences. I highly recommend this show for family trips!

2回目のRock-A-Hula鑑賞でしたが、前回とはまた内容が更新されており、リピーターでも新鮮な気持ちで楽しめました！映画『Moana』の世界観を取り入れたパートでは会場全体が盛り上がっており、特に会場にいた子どもたちが喜んでいたのが印象的でした。

また、今回は中央前方の席だったこともあり、ステージとの距離が非常に近く、演者の表情や細かな動きまでしっかり見ることができました。特にファイヤーダンスは圧巻で、炎の熱気や温かさが伝わってくるほどの迫力。演者の汗まで見えるほど臨場感があり、ショーの世界に入り込んだような没入感を味わえました。

ショー前に利用したビュッフェも満足度が高く、料理の種類が豊富で、食事の時間からしっかり楽しめました。テーブルには丸ごとのパイナップルが置かれており、開けると中にはカットされたパイナップルが！普段なかなかできないくらい豪快にパイナップルを味わうことができ、ハワイらしい特別感を感じられました。

また、ビュッフェ会場で行われたフラレッスンも印象的でした。観客も一緒に参加できるスタイルで、会場全体が自然と一つになって盛り上がっていたのがとても良かったです。フラ初心者も気軽に参加しやすい雰囲気で、ショーが始まる前からハワイらしい時間を楽しむことができました。

ワイキキ中心部に位置しているため、多くのホテルから徒歩でアクセスできるのも魅力のひとつです。観光やショッピングの後にも参加しやすく、限られた旅行時間の中でも効率よく楽しめると感じました。ショー・食事・参加型体験をまとめて楽しめる、ハワイの夜にぴったりのエンターテインメントです。家族旅行にもぜひおすすめしたいショーです！
