It goes without saying that it was an amazing experience. Skydiving was something I had always wanted to try! The views were incredible. However, the instructor, who didn't speak Japanese, seemed to be enjoying himself a bit too much, making several spins, which was fun but made me feel nauseous. It was tough to hold back the urge to throw up. The G-force when the parachute opened was more intense than I imagined, causing unbearable pain in both my brain and body. By the way, I did take motion sickness medication, but it didn't help at all. If you feel good, I can guarantee that it will be an outstanding experience from start to finish! I went directly without a shuttle service, so once the diving was over and the DVD and photos were ready, I could leave right away. For those participating with a shuttle, even if you jump at 9 AM, you have to wait until noon for the shuttle to return. I think it's best to participate with plenty of time to spare. Since the wait can be long, I recommend joining without the shuttle service for those who are short on time!

ただ、日本語の通じないインストラクターさん、

時間に余裕持って参加されたらいいと思います。

I was fortunate enough to end the last day of 2011by jumping out of a plane at 14000 ft high, Its probably the best thrill ride you could ever do.

The staff at Pacific Skydiving are friendly and knowledgeable, they keep to the KISS method, this way when you jump, you don't have to worry about anything other than enjoying the ride down.

I highly recommend anybody to jump with them if you can, the cost to jump with them is half the price at any other location I've looked up locally to me.

I spent my time in Hawaii focused on golf, but I was interested in this activity, which has a 65-year age limit. So, I signed up with my wife (I'm 63, and my wife is in her 50s). Our children are independent now, and my work doesn't cause too much trouble, so I thought it would be fine even if something unexpected happened.

I don't have a fear of heights, but sitting on a seat like a log made me feel uneasy as we reached a considerable altitude. However, I was bound to the instructor like a koi on a board, sliding down one after another. The one-minute free fall from 14,000 feet (4,267 meters) was incredible, with wind pressure at 200 km/h. I've experienced 200 km/h on a motorcycle, but the wind pressure on my entire body was incomparable.

According to the display, it was a 3,333-meter free fall!? However, since I didn't feel the G-force, it felt more like flying than falling. The cameraman fell alongside me, and I was able to strike poses as if swimming in the air. After the parachute opened, I had a bit of leisure time to look around, wondering where Turtle Bay Golf Course was and if I could see any whales, while also checking my altitude with the altimeter.

I wish there had been some consideration for the ten people who were in the same vehicle to jump around the same time or at least a way to indicate the order of jumping upon arrival.

I originally liked thrill rides at amusement parks, but I have to admit I was scared just before jumping. However, once I jumped, it felt amazing!! I didn't feel scared at all. I understand why people get hooked on it.

In the group I participated with, there were some who weren't good with thrill rides, but even they said it was really fun after jumping and that they weren't scared while in the air.

After we finished jumping, we had to wait about two hours until our car departed, but since I was there alone, I played frisbee and catch with the staff, so the time flew by. I can only have very simple conversations in English (or rather, I mostly communicated through gestures), but the staff played with me without any signs of annoyance.

This became a really nice memory, so for those who will challenge this in the future, if you find yourself with free time after jumping, muster up the courage to talk to the local staff. I'm sure you'll create some fun memories!

私は英語は本当に簡単な会話しかできませんが（というか、ほぼ会話無しでジェスチャーのみでやりとりしました）スタッフの方たちは嫌な顔1つせず一緒に遊んでくれました。
これもとてもいい思い出になりましたので、これから挑戦する方は、飛び終えた後ヒマになったら、勇気を出して現地スタッフに話しかけてみてください。

I'm not sure if it was because I mentioned it was my second time diving, but this time the instructor (Bandi) taught us how to operate the parachute during the fall and let us play freely (laughs). ただ一つ問題が・・・・７時１０分にワイキキのホテルピックアップし、１０時頃には一緒に来た日本人４組のダイブは終わっていたのですが、帰りの車両が出たのが１３時・・・・。その間は何もすることがなく、みんな寝ていました。
待っていた理由は、だいぶ後から来た外人家族の終わり待ちち・・・・。確か、前回も終わってから３時間程度何もやることがなく待っていた記憶があります。
これがなかったら、もっともっと楽しいと思います。

Actually, I have a severe fear of heights, but from 14,000 feet, I felt no fear at all and was able to enjoy it without any stress. For those who are struggling with skydiving due to a fear of heights, I highly recommend giving it a try!

June 25, 2011: My first and probably last skydiving! I want to praise myself for doing well... Anyway, 1. Fear of heights doesn't really matter 2. There’s no G-force like on a roller coaster, and you don’t feel that floating sensation 3. The instructor is reliable, and you can experience it without any anxiety 4. The rapid descent changes the air pressure quickly, so your ears might hurt a bit 5. I think those who participated should definitely order the DVD 6. For those who haven't experienced it yet, those who are hesitating, and those who are unsure, I highly recommend participating (please consider the risks carefully). We participated as a couple. It was my husband's wish to join, and we had a really great time! I definitely recommend the course that has the longest airtime and goes the highest!

It gets cold up there. Also, the belts are quite tight, so I recommend wearing clothing that has some length around the shoulders and thighs. I wore a short-sleeve T-shirt and a long-sleeve shirt, but I ended up with light marks on my arms. If you have long hair, make sure to bring a hair tie! My hair is about shoulder length, and since I forgot a hair tie, it got really tangled after the flight.

You can land on both feet on the grass. I noticed that a few men landed on their bottoms (including my husband), so it might depend on the weight distribution with the instructor.

The mention of "long wait times" seems to refer to the editing time for those who requested DVDs. Still, during our time, there were 10 participants and 5 DVDs, and we were able to return to Waikiki around 12:30.

絶対、滞空時間の長くなる、一番高く上がるコースをおすすめします！

上空は寒いです。またベルト類をぎっちり締めつけるので、肩口や腿の部分はある程度長さのある衣類をオススメします。
私は半袖Ｔ＆長袖シャツでしたが、腕の付け根に軽く跡がつきました。
髪の長い方はヘアゴムを！私は肩ぐらいの長さですがヘアゴムを忘れたため、飛び終わった後は髪が絡まりまくって大変でした。。

芝生地に両足で立って着地させてもらえます。
見ていると男性はお尻からのかたが数人いたので（うちの夫も）、インストラクターさんへの加重にもよるのかもしれません。

「待ち時間が長い」とあるのは、ＤＶＤを申し込んだ方々の編集時間待ちのようです。
それでも私たちのときは参加者10人、ＤＶＤ5人で、12時半ごろにはワイキキに戻れました。

I wasn't scared even though I have a fear of heights.

It was fun coming down with a parachute while looking at the beautiful sea.

However, there is a lot of waiting time afterward, so if you're short on time, it might be better to go by rental car. I think I waited for about an hour and a half.
