My husband was the one who actually went skydiving, and I attended as a spectator. We were picked up on time and arrived at the site in just over an hour. During the bus ride, we watched a Japanese DVD about the skydiving waiver. After arriving, we received explanations about camera shooting and checked off the items we wanted. All of this explanation was in English. I was glad that my husband, who cannot speak any English, didn't have to go alone.

Then it was his turn, and he received a brief explanation in Japanese before taking off in a Cessna. About 10 to 15 minutes later, we saw the parachute in the sky as he descended. According to my husband, it was over in a flash, but he had a great time and wants to do it again! At first, it was hard to breathe, but by the time he got used to it, the parachute had opened.

I was picked up at the hotel at 5:30 and flew out by 8:00. I think I arrived back at the hotel around 10:30. It seemed to be a day with fewer people, so everything went smoothly, which was great.

Last year, I did bungee jumping and found it really scary, so I think it was great that my siblings were there to encourage me. While we were ascending in the Cessna, my siblings seemed excited and happy, which eased my fear a bit.

気づいたら、雲のはるか上空にいたはずだったのに、雲と同じ高度になっていましたが、風を受けながら大空に羽ばたいていた時間がすごく気持ちよかったです。
パラシュートが開いてからものんびり景色を楽しんだり、拙い英語でインストラクターのイケメンお兄さんと少し会話する余裕がありましたが、フリーフォールの風を受ける感じの方が気持ちよかったなぁ^^

去年バンジージャンプをやってすごく怖かったので、兄弟妹が一緒にいて励ましてくれたのが良かったと思います。
セスナで上昇している間も兄弟妹は興奮して楽しそうで、それも恐怖心がちょっと和らいだかも。

※兄弟妹はバンジージャンプが好きで、スカイダイビングも余裕みたいな顔していたら、縦回転・横回転ぐるぐるされたようで、終了後グロッキーになってました。兄弟妹はバンジージャンプの方が楽しいと思ったようです。飛ぶ前の態度も重要かも。

現地に着いた際の説明で、写真はインストラクターのハンディーカメラか、カメラマンも一緒に飛んで撮影してくれるか選ぶことができるとのことだったのですが、撮影したら絶対に購入する必要があったため、購入しませんでした。
でも、イケメンインストラクターでいろいろ気遣ってくれて楽しかったので、写真買えば良かったなぁ！
事前に誰と飛ぶか一度会えれば、良かったなぁ。
妹は結構、無愛想なインストラクターでした。

I had an amazing time! At first, I was wearing a hoodie, but I was told it could cause a headache, so I switched to a short-sleeved shirt and shorts for diving. I felt a bit cold on the plane for a moment, but it didn't bother me during the flight.

My first skydiving experience! It was amazing!! Even though I'm not good with roller coasters, I wasn't scared at all! The view from above was breathtaking. The instructor didn't speak Japanese, but he was friendly and very kind. The photos are a bit pricey, but I think it's better to have them taken by a professional! The driver was Japanese, but during the explanations in the car, he spoke so fast that I couldn't understand what he was saying, which made me anxious. I was told I didn't need to wear a seatbelt, but the driving was so fast that it was scary. On the way back, I was prompted to "prepare a tip," which left me feeling a bit complicated. I signed up for a jump at an altitude of 4267m (14,000ft) alone. Pickup is available in front of hotels in Waikiki. After about an hour's drive, we arrived at the Pacific Skydiving Center. Since skydiving cannot be done if the clouds don't clear, we waited for about two hours that day. There wasn't much to do during that time (there's only a vending machine around), so I recommend bringing something to pass the time, like a guide map.

They operate with a single small airplane, which can accommodate 8 tandem pairs at once. In fact, they "must" be able to take 8 pairs at a time.

I signed up for 14,000ft but ended up on the same plane as those jumping from 10,000ft. Out of the 8 people, 3 of us, including myself, were supposed to jump from 14,000ft. Although I was puzzled, once I boarded, I jumped at the same time as those at 10,000ft. "Wow, that's low."

After the jump, and after giving a tip, I was informed that I had jumped from 10,000ft, and I received a $30 refund. スカイダイビングを行うための様々な説明は日本人のスタッフに受けました。
海外で外人に騙されるのならまだしも、海外で日本人に騙されるというのは余計腹が立ちます。

パシフィックスカイダイビングセンターは不誠実な会社です。

I jumped out of the plane and descended without even having time to feel scared. There’s no time to feel fear, so I think it’s worth trying even for those who are afraid of heights. Jumping itself isn’t scary at all, but the speed during the descent is incredible, and the wind pressure can make it hard to breathe, so that’s definitely something to be cautious about. If you have any issues with your respiratory system, you really need to be careful. I also have a tendency towards asthma, so I found myself gasping for air like a fish out of water. After the parachute opened, the descent speed slowed down, and breathing became easier. If you request the instructor to do some turns, they will do so while descending, so definitely try to enjoy the descent with some turns. That was the most fun part!

怖いと思う暇もなく飛行機から飛び出て降下しました。恐怖感を感じてる暇もないので高い所が苦手な人でもトライする価値があるとます。飛び降りるのは全く怖くないですが降下するときスピードが凄いので風圧で呼吸困難になりますので其方の方が余程～注意すべき点になると思います。呼吸器系に多少でも問題がある方は本当に要注意です。私も喘息気味なので魚が酸素が足りなくて口をパクパクしてる状態になりました。パラシュートが開いた後は降下のスピードが緩やかになり呼吸も楽になります。インストラクターに旋回をリクエストすると旋回して降りてくれますので是非とも旋回しながら降りて下さい。それが一番～楽しかったです。

I have always liked roller coasters, but this is a thrill like no other.

I'm not good with roller coasters myself. I thought I would be quite nervous, but I wasn't scared at all and was able to dive into the sky! The view from the Cessna was truly beautiful and has become the most memorable scenery I've ever seen. Depending on the weather, it may take some time, but I think it's understandable since the staff are also risking their lives. If you're hesitating, you definitely should go!
