We had a total of 11 people picked up from Honolulu for the morning course. After arriving and a brief explanation, we waited about an hour before the dive. It wasn't as long of a wait as I expected.

There was a staff member who was fluent in Japanese, so we were able to get by without any particular inconvenience. The instructor didn't speak Japanese, but what he was saying was simple, and he taught us using gestures, which made it reassuring.

Then we took off in the Cessna! Once the door opened, we dropped immediately. There were people waiting behind us to jump, so there was no time to say "Ah, scary!" (laughs). Skydiving really goes by in an instant, but there's no doubt it will be an amazing experience! The free fall was a bit breathless, but it lasts just a moment, so it's bearable (・ω・).

I was fine, but there were about two people who felt sick afterward. If you're prone to motion sickness, it might be wise to take some anti-nausea medication beforehand.

This is my second attempt this year! I finally got to fly! When I went in March, the weather was bad, and even though I woke up early, I ended up waiting for five hours only for it to be canceled and refunded. I was disappointed not to fly, and it felt like I wasted my time in Hawaii. By the time I returned to Waikiki, it was already past noon, and not being able to fly hit me hard!

But then came my revenge! My sweet darling quickly planned for October. This time, flying was truly the best feeling ever. I got to do something I've always wanted to try!

I struggled to choose from several shops, but I'm glad I did.

There are Japanese-speaking staff available (it seems they have shifts), providing services that help ensure a sense of security as much as possible.

As long as the weather is good, I was able to finish my activities by around noon if I started early in the morning, from the pickup to returning to the hotel.

その後は自分の名前が呼ばれるまでは、朝食が売ってるワゴン車があったり、のんびり名前呼ばれてからは日本語が話せるインストラクターは今せんが、片言の日本語で教えて下さいました！セスナ機に乗り込んだあとは、セスナ機の後方に飛ぶ窓口があるため後ろ向きに飛びました！酔う片言は酔い止めをあった方がいかも。一応そこでも売っましたし、ABCストアでも酔い止め売ってました！
飛ぶ時は、ほんと一瞬怖いと思いましたが言われた通りの姿勢でインストラクターに任せていたら、気づいたら飛んでて。半袖でも寒くはなかったですが、下からの風がすごくてなかなか笑うのも大変でしたパラシュート開いた後はコンタクトで無ければ安全メガネを外してくれて景色を楽しむことが出来ました！それでも風で口や目がすごく乾きました！
着地の時は芝生が濡れてたので、靴や着地のときにお尻を着いたりしてる方もいて濡れたり汚れたりがあるので汚れてもいい服の方が良さそうです！あと、一応そこで靴も紐タイプの靴とかでなければ借りれるみたいです！

I was scared when signing the multi-page waiver and while waiting for the flight, but thanks to the instructors who eased my nerves, I felt surprisingly okay just before jumping. During the free fall, I was overwhelmed with the feeling of breathlessness, the cold air, and reacting to the cameraman. It was a good decision to wear thin long sleeves for both the top and bottom, as it was chilly up in the air.

You need a 25-cent coin to use the coin lockers, but there are change machines and ATMs available for credit card cash withdrawals. The food sold at the food wagon was delicious. I was advised to eat something before the jump, so I did.

自分のようにのんきな観光客が好奇心によって危険な体験をしたいがために、パシフィックスカイダイビングセンターの方は仕事とはいえ安全に細心の注意を払ってくれたり、たびたび気さくに声をかけてくれたりしたことを考えると、インストラクターとカメラマンと送迎車の運転手には喜んでチップをはずみました。

A friend of mine had done skydiving here before, so I wanted to try something I had never done, and I participated with my mother and husband. (By the way, I have a fear of heights to the point of getting noisy on a Ferris wheel.)
The wait time was about two hours after we arrived. Both before and during the helicopter ride, the instructor was very kind and explained everything, which helped ease my nerves. However, my mother's instructor was unfriendly and didn't explain much, which left her looking anxious the whole time, and that was disappointing. I felt there was quite a difference between the instructors.

Without much time to feel nervous, we stood at the edge and dove right in. It was an amazing feeling of exhilaration! The experience felt long and was absolutely fantastic!!! The scenery was incredibly beautiful!! We could even see Diamond Head!
Be careful not to open your mouth too wide during the fall, as the wind pressure can be uncomfortable!

My mother and I purchased a video that captures us along with one additional person flying together. I was relieved that both the scenery and ourselves were well captured, but after the parachute opened, the footage was only of the landing.
My husband bought a GoPro video attached to the instructor's hand. His face looked quite funny in it, but there was also footage of him slightly maneuvering the parachute after it opened.

The videos are edited, and after we finished flying, everyone who got on the same helicopter watched them one by one, which was quite embarrassing. Laughs. You can also decide whether to purchase them at that point.

待ち時間は現地についてから二時間ほどでした。ヘリに乗る前も乗っている時もインストラクターの方がとても親切に説明して、緊張をほぐしてくれました。しかしながら母のインストラクターの方は無愛想であまり説明もなく母は終始不安そうにしていたのが残念でした。インストラクターによってとても差があるなーと感じました。

ドキドキする間も無くフチに立ったらすぐダイブです。笑飛んでみると最高の爽快感！体感時間も長く最高すぎる！！！とっても綺麗な景色が広がっています！！ダイヤモンドヘッドも見えました！
落下中口を開きすぎると風圧で苦しくなるので気をつけましょう！笑

私と母はプラス一名が一緒に飛んで撮るタイプのビデオを購入。景色も自分もよく映っていたのでホッとしましたが、パラシュートが開いてからは着地のみの映像でした。
主人はインストラクターの手につけるGoproビデオを購入。顔がものすごい映りでしたが、パラシュート開いたあと自分で少し操縦した映像も写っていました。

上記のビデオは編集された状態で、飛び終わったあとに同じヘリにのったみんなで一人ずつ見るので結構恥ずかしいです。笑そこで購入するかどうかも決められます。

次は子供達も一緒に参加させたいです(^^)
